Welcome back to Spy from the union

We are now on the first full chapter that's chapter 1, but the second chapter of the story.

In this brief chapter, we will get a brief overview of what Scarlett's life is like here in the Union.

Before she goes and becomes a spy, we wanna see what her life was like as a child at least for a brief time.

Let us begin.

And this is back to still with Scarlett's point of view.

Scarlet

A few years later

It's been at least a few years now that I've been here I sent letters to my father Miss Porsche said I could anytime I'd like, and my father would visit me from time to time as well. Porsche said that shit that couldn't didn't have to happen. I wasn't cut completely from my father's life just my brother's life but time has passed and I've sent several letters back and forth to my father. Tell him about everything that's been happening lately learning how to read and write learning new school techniques. Here in the union was nice. Also studying the books of the union also too. I told him Porsche said I'll get a cut of the union shares you told me that is a great daughter. Is that what you want to do with your life? I'm not sure yet. I said back whenever you figure out what your purpose is in life, he said I hope you find it .

I will Father, I said, as I finished up my letters once again now that I was a little older time had passed and I've sent many letters back and forth through my father and Home and here in the union. Everything that happened before was boring. I did witness the death of a child named Anna named Elise Mabel, I can't believe she was killed by her siblings they were jealous of me as well, but Portia told them that they were not going to kill me I have a great purpose in life and they were banished good riddance I thought to the two of them.

Well, they weren't banished yet but they were not allowed to see me at least then several years passed I was now 16 years old not 15 years old. Yes, I was about 15 when a young girl named Annalise showed up at our beautiful mansion and Blood Moon Haven and I was assigned to be her roommate. Well, she was first signed to this young boy, but she didn't like him very much because she tried to make him talk. Make her talk, even though that was Portia's idea so I asked if she'd wanna be my roommate and she nodded and said yes Miss Scarlet, I'd rather be your roommate. Elise said that you would be a better roommate than him. I just smiled. She told me that she could talk to ghosts which I thought was a little creepy, but not too bad. I told her about my evil brother who caused me to go blind. That is sad she said maybe we can take care of each other. She said I smiled and said yes I like that at least.

But I wasn't gonna be staying in the union for long I mean yes I was gonna inherit it, but I wasn't gonna stay for long because a young family in the quarantine zone needed me. I didn't know who it was but hell no I guess it was Home and Julius who I didn't know Porsche sent me there. You will be my spy, my eyes and ears of what's going on in that house. She said don't let them know that you're a spy. I nodded blending in with the family and becoming part of them, but don't take their last name because you have the last name, Rose just tell them that you were sent to be a caretaker for the young Timecrest. I nodded. Understood I said.

I didn't know who it was, but the young Timecrest was, but I was sent to take care of him as a spy for Porsche to be her eyes and ears may not be her eyes cause I'm blind, but her ears at least in her voice and to be a protector for the young time pressed Annalise told me to be careful Miss Scarlet I will be fine Annalise I said, hugging her you're going into a pack of wolves into the wolf mouth she said I'll be OK. I said I'm just going to the quarantine zone.

A bag was packed for me and I was sent to the quarantine zones or my life was about to change forever. I had to pretend that I was a human being processed and I had no family so the Timecrest family would have to take me in. That was my cover. I was a human descendant, even though I wasn't one.

I was sad as a spy, and a guard for the time-pressed once I was teleported there I was at the doorstep of the library of their home.

A student waited until someone came down the elevator. It was Miss Helena, who we called Miss Lena, my teacher, who didn't like me much or notice me much. She asked me what was I doing here and I told her I was the caretaker for her son the Timecrest fine she said come in if you're gonna work for me then you have to do as we tell you I noted in agreement. I'm more here for the serve the Timecrest than you I said what can you do to attribute? You have no vision she said what can you do? I can cook I said and clean. I said also I could do things for him whatever he needed .

Also, I am a human descendant. I said unlikely of a story. She said I was a human ascendant who was just now newly processed into the zones and I didn't wanna live by myself. I said we should take her in. Julia said I heard a voice say, Helena, he said Julius I don't know let's take her in. We'll take care of her sides. It'll give our son a friend to play with mine we just now got newly processed. She said well we didn't just get newly processed. We've been living here a while she said, but still, we were newly processed last year or the year before or something like that. It was the year before she said I nodded as I walked into the room and there was the cutest 11-year-old child I'd ever seen in my life.

He smiled at me I couldn't tell and he walked over. Who are you? He asked I am Scarlet Scarlett Del Rose. I told him I had to tell him that secret in public. I told him I was just Scarlet. I said well Scarlet he said welcome. What are you here for? I'm here to watch out for you. I said can we talk in private? He knows as we went upstairs to wherever he wanted to take me, I told him that my real name was Scarlett Del Rose, and I couldn't tell him who I was in front of his parents that I used to be Scarlett Ignace his mother's old student who didn't she didn't care about much but I was now his caretaker, you will not order me about right he shook his head no but you will assist me and not it again. I have model one to do things for me so I don't need you to do everything for me but just to be my companion. I guess I'm trying to activate this pocket watch maybe you'll believe me about it.

I don't know I said, but I'll try and I'm not a human descendent. I can tell he said it's not gonna be easy to full mother. It was the only way I could get into the quarantine zone and be undercover. I said I told him how secret it was for me to be a spy and to protect him I was more his guard than anything else. He smiled. OK, he said then you can help me hide from Riley from time to time why she likes to make me griffin eggs on her birthday that she cooks I laughed OK I said I'll do my best.

I did my best to be a good companion to him and had him hide from Riley from time to time sometimes she'd take him on a mission away from me and I couldn't come with her because Riley wouldn't allow me to. I told her I had to he told me about how he went and visited Princess Riley One day or went to visit Princess Annalise not too long ago after she ran away wow that's crazy. I know Annalise I said when we were alone, she lives with us and she's like a sister to me. I said he smiled no one that Annalise was my sister's light figure and I was taking care of Annalise too, but she was not with me right now Riley took me to visit her one time. He said I didn't know it was her. It wasn't too long ago either maybe like a few months ago he said makes sense I said.

The two of us hit it off well we became besties inseparable, except for that incident when they went up to the C unity from time to time excuse why she couldn't carry both, but I think she was jealous of me. I told her I was just Luther's caretaker who hurt his guard I said.

There's no need to be jealous I said, but she was jealous a little lol I told her I wasn't jealous of her. There's no need for her to be jealous of me. She told me did not get between her and Luther. I said I'm just his protector I said not his lover I said besides he's only a kid. Why would he want someone right now Aren't you a kid too? Aren't you? Seven years old I mentioned or six Riley smiled yes I am six years old. She said it was just last year when I wanted to kill myself, said Riley.

Well, then, Riley I said you should know better than I said again.

After that time went on, and I got closer to Luther as a Besty he thought of me as his Bestie too even though Riley was still part of his life. Helena was making sure that I wouldn't develop any kind of romantic feelings for Luther, but I was just his caretaker and helper nothing else no more no less Riley was going to be his lover. I didn't like the eye of this, but I've had no other opportunities or no choice in the matter. I wanna make it clear that she did not like me and that I was too much of a burden to live in this house.

Do you try to make my life a living nightmare, make it harder and harder for me to live here make it harder for me to live to live here and to be myself?

Another year passed and I was now 16 and Luther had a cure for the Valdor disease. He told his robot not to give it to anyone, but his robot didn't listen and gave it to the lieutenant who died Luther felt anxiety from it and started blaming himself for killing that man. I told him it was an accident. It's OK. I said you'll try again. No, I will not. He said Scarlett. I will not try again, he says, and I will not kill people either. I need to figure out how to contact the time manipulator maybe he can help me with things we'll see I said, as I held his hand through it all.

Doctor Foulger also saw us. He always smiled and waved at me and said that I was a good protection for Luther even though I was boring he thought I was kind and gentle so I was the good type of boring. He says he didn't know I was a spy for Porsche .

One day I'll take Luther away from here but first I need to figure out a plan but there's no way I can do it right now I told him about it, though I told him that I wanna take him away. Take him back to the union where it'll be safe he can live with me in Porsche in Blood Moon Haven, but he told me he couldn't leave his parents one day your parents will desert you I said he didn't believe me one day. I told him it will happen. He leaned on me for support you always have me though by your side I said you have me and I'm not leaving you. And you have your robot model one I said model one is a disappointment. Luther said why I asked because of the Lieutenant don't be. Don't beat yourself up about it it was an accident. I don't care. He says it still makes me sad and I don't want to kill you won't need to. I said we'll figure out other plans around things I said.

But I wouldn't tell Helena about my job not my job but my plans none of my plans were told.

I didn't tell her I was a spy either once she finds out that I am I'm a goner. I have to pretend that I'm not a spy and that I'm a human refugee living here. A human is locked up in this quarantine zone and I have to live with them only with Luther. Do I talk in secret about things?

My life in the union was over but with help with teleportation from Porsche sometimes I'd leave and have a life in the union from time to time and then I would come and visit Luther as well and sneak in and out working for Helena and Julius, but also sneaking out to be at the union for my life there and to write letters to my father.

This was after several years too.

At least that's my first full year here at least.

I felt like I needed to protect the child more than anything in this world. I'll do anything for Luther and his safety even more than his parents if need be.

I need to get back to writing long chapters but I don't wanna drag chapters out either so I hope you enjoy this one anyway it jumped from her life in the union to her life in the quarantine zone. There wasn't much going on in her life in the zone or the union enough to cover everything that's why I jumped right to the quarantine zone if that's what you're wondering why it did that anyway I hope you enjoy it anyway and I hope you enjoy spy from the union.
