It was morning and to Shocket, realising it was her first day of school made her tummy hurt with nerves putting her blanket over her head just as Rocket walked in, sensing something bothered his baby girl asking her what was bothering her. "My tummy hurts daddy." Shocket admitted making him realise what today was understanding that her anxiety was making her stomach hurt.
"I get it kiddo, but once you make a pal, it'll be okay. Let's get some food in you as breakfast is the most important part of the day." Rocket told her as they left her room entering the kitchen making Groot relieved she was up as it was her first day of school making Rocket nod as he was making pop tarts seeing her drinking juice hearing her asking questions making him and Groot exchange a look.
"You're gonna have to find out for yourself kiddo." Rocket told her.
"Alright, I will, challenge accepted. Linda knows I'm in school." Shocket asked seeing him nod.
"That's good you're feeling like yourself again." Rocket told her. He was putting her lunch bag into her backpack but had made her lubch and some snacks which would make her smile if she missed him which Groot got knowing Rocket was trying to make this morning easy for Shocket but knew he was feeling emotional like all parents on their kit's first day of school so would try cheering him up, after he dropped Shocket off at school, seeing her get dressed by herself impressing them.
"Great job kiddo, now we've had breakfast and gotten dressed, how about we get you to school." Rocket said.
He saw that nervous look on Shocket's dace guessing the nerves had returned which he was feeling and tempted to say to forget about school, only right now he had to be the parent remembering Herbert had helped him feel better on his first day of school so was telling Shocket this story as they had a lil time before leaving but the story inspured Shocket to want to try school making Rocket proud.
"Let's go then." Rocket said as they and Groot left arriving at Avengers Campus but Shocket was quiet making Rocket get it using the buddy system to walk her to the WWEB classrooms which was helping the both of them with Groot bringing up the rear entering after Rocket knocked softly on the door seeing it open and one Peter Parker came out seeing it was Rocket with his kid who was starting in the program today. "You're with Itsy. You're gonna love her, she's a lot of fun." Peter said making Shocket nod feeling her dad hug her before he and Groot left knowing his baby girl was in good paws
"I am Groot." Groot asked seeing Rocket wipe tears away with his paw. "I think so." he said as they left.
Shocket was curious but anxious as there were kids she didn't know but lots of cool texh hoping she'd get to build some but was surprised seeing a blue skin ed girl with eight arms and in a hoodie with jeans hanging upside down on webs smirking.
"Hi there I'm Itsy#Bitsy but everybody calls me Itsy. You're Shocket right." Itsy told her.
"Yeah, but how're you doing that without web shooters. Sorry if that offends you." Shocket said.
"I'm well.. Spidey's daughter so I'm not wearing web shooters." Itsy told her.
Shocket thought that was so cool making Itsy surprised making Shocket want to ask why but then class began which was so much fun and learning new things so Shocket didn't know it was lunchtime heading to the cafetaria noticing Itsy was alone at a table which made Shocket get it maybe deciding to sit with her as Itsy had made her welcome and comfortable, stunning Itsy.
"A lot of kids don't understand me or think bad things about me which make me sad. I was cloned from my dads and they adopted me so it's why I have blue skin and eight arms.. I'm really happy you're in my class and at my station and now we're eating lunch meaning… we are becoming friends." Itsy told her making Shocket smile liking Itsy as she was cool plus she'd wanted a friend so nodded.
"Oh my Groot, she had a good day and made a friend, this is better than I expected. I thought she'd be sad so then daddy and uncle Groot would have to cheer her up." Rocket said. It was the end of the day and time for parents to pick kids up or for them to go home on their own but Rocket had been anxious in case Shocket had a bad day but she came out happy scampering up to him, almost knocking him over making Groot giggle as they were going home but wascurious to hear from Shocket about her day.
"I'm o proud of you for trying school and you made a friend." Rocket told her.
"Yeah her name's Itsy Parker, why're you so happy." Shocket told him. Rocket explained to her, that Itsy's dad and him were good friends making Shocket grin at this as she was having a snack seeing Groot playing a game seeing Shocket grin joining him seeing him hug her.
