Chapter 21: Another Step Forward
Sark Palace, Mobius
Sark had returned to his palace, humiliated from what took place at Hide and Seek.
"Sir, are you ok?" One of the guards asked.
"No, I was humiliated!" Sark told him.
"Sir?"
"Say nothing!" The demon snapped, floating back to his throne. "That stupid hedgehog! How could I have possibly lost that easily? That has never happened to me before. It can only mean one thing: The Chosen One is slowly beginning to come into her powers. That fool Exetior must be forcing their powers on them, and in turn, is making me weaker. That sneaky bastard! He'll pay for this, but in time. Tails Doll is slowly getting back to full strength, but I don't know if he'll reach full strength before the Chosen One comes into her powers. There's nothing I can do about that." Sark explained.
"Excuse me, sir, but you have a transmission from Sally coming in. Shall I accept?" The guard from earlier asked.
"Granted." Sark nodded.
The transmission began.
"Excuse my sudden interruption, sir, but I just wanted to inform you that Sonic and that other version of Amy have reached ..., and Tails is preparing a defense." Sark Sally said.
"I'm not surprised, but I have an idea as to how we can break that blue pain in the ass's spirit."
"How is that, sir?"
"You have his world's Amy, correct?"
"Yes, sir, she's here at the altar."
"Good. I have something in store for her. Keep her close. I'll be arriving shortly with further instructions." Sark told her.
"Understood, Master." Sark Sally nodded as the transmission ended.
"Off again, sir?"
"It would seem so. I will return when I do." Sark stated as he vanished again.
