Prologue: The arrival
In the vastness of the temporal continuum, where coherence and logical sequence are the very essence of the universe, an unprecedented anomaly arises. An event that defies the fundamental laws of time, like a crack in the very fabric of reality, an occurrence that manifests as a whirlwind of distorted energy—a chaotic maelstrom that devours past, present, and future events. Within this temporal vortex, moments intertwine that should never converge, creating a conglomeration of realities that challenges all understanding and logic.
Such anomalies occur on occasions less expected and sometimes in critical situations.
And it was about to happen during the climax of the battle against the being who decided that exterminating humans was the best course of action; when the self-aggrandizing Kaioshin saw that his plan had been ruined forever, he chose to merge his being with the universe. The warriors who stood against him decided to summon the sovereign of the 12 universes, unaware that the cure might be worse than the disease.
But when you're in a dire predicament, what other option do you have?
"And well, Zeno-sama, what do you think? Isn't it better to get rid of him?" Goku asked with a casual smile, pointing to the sky adorned with the sinister expressions of the false god.
Zeno-sama gazed at the horizon.
"You're right," responded the small deity with a somber and unsettling tone. "I'll get rid of him."
Zeno-sama, as innocent as he was ruthless, decided that the best solution to erase and never see that annoying being again was to annihilate the very existence of Universe 7 in that timeline. Once said, Zeno-sama raised his arms and began to levitate slowly, concentrating an unreal amount of power, until even someone like Goku understood the true meaning of the god's words and what he truly intended to do.
"Quick! Everyone, get on the time machine!" Goku said with evident urgency in his voice. "You too!" Goku addressed the Supreme Kaioshins of their respective universes. "Get out of here as soon as possible!"
"Gowasu-sama" Shin addressed his counterpart from Universe 10.
Gowasu nodded in agreement, so without saying anything more, they disappeared in a flash along with their time rings, returning to the timeline to which they belonged.
The small deity continued to ascend into the air, causing tension to grow in the atmosphere while Bulma prepared the time machine for departure.
The remaining individuals quickly boarded without questioning the situation, hastening onto the time machine as the sky darkened with the impending universal erasure. Bulma, with her experience and technical skill, coordinated every movement to ensure a safe departure. The hatch closed with a click, encapsulating the two future travelers and the scientist, while the two pure-blooded Saiyans clung to the sides of the machine.
"All the existence, go away!"
Just as Zeno-sama unleashed his devastating attack, the time machine had ignited its engines and vanished from the location; unfortunately, Zeno-sama's attack had managed to hit the time machine, leaving evident marks on its structure.
A roar echoed as the fabric of space-time, where the machine had plotted its course, tore apart under the immense power of the god of destruction.
"What's happening?" Mai asked as the machine embarked on the journey, surrounded by strange vortexes.
The answer came quickly as the machine began issuing a warning while the anomaly caused by the god was manifesting.
*Caution warning* *caution warning* *caution warning*
Bulma, despite the damage, maintained composure and continued typing with determination. The ship shook violently, and the light surrounding the time machine flickered, indicating the turbulence they faced.
"It's serious, isn't it?" Trunks said, observing the damage to the machine.
"I'll fix it," was all Bulma said as she assessed the damage and typed quickly on the panel.
At a critical moment, the hatch where Bulma was located broke, exposing her to the swirling vortexes extending all around her. Reacting with difficulty, Bulma maneuvered the machine to prevent it from falling into a vortex that had dangerously come close.
The time machine's control panels flashed with intermittent red lights, indicating the gravity of the situation. Bulma, with a furrowed brow, redoubled her efforts to maintain control of the ship as the warning message echoed in the cabin.
Amidst this dimensional chaos, the robotic voice resonated again:
*Critical status* *Critical status* *Critical status*
"Damn, this is getting much worse," Bulma said as she typed on the panel, searching for possible solutions, and the machine denied them all.
The machine began to experience turbulence, causing them to stagger a bit.
"Bulma, at this rate, we won't last much longer!" exclaimed Mai, holding onto any available point of support as the machine shook.
"I know, I know! But the machine isn't responding to anything I try," replied Bulma, furrowing her brow as her fingers rapidly tapped on the control panel.
The chaos continued around them; the vortexes multiplied, and the robotic voice persisted with its "Critical status" message. Trunks looked at Bulma with concern, feeling the helplessness of the situation.
"Is there anything we can do?" Trunks asked, struggling to maintain balance in the constantly turbulent cabin.
Bulma let out a frustrated sigh before responding, "I don't know, Trunks. We haven't deviated from the course yet, but I'm concerned about the abnormal cracks that are beyond any parameters I've encountered before."
The turbulence increased, and uncertainty hung in the air as father and son faced together the temporal storm that threatened to consume them.
Suddenly, an idea occurred to Bulma as she observed the energy reserves in a secondary compartment.
"Trunks, try using your Ki to create a force field around the machine!" Bulma exclaimed, raising her voice to be heard over the turmoil, "And I'll increase the power in the thrusters to prevent the machine from being sucked into those vortexes."
Trunks nodded, focusing his concentration as he clung to his mother's idea. After a moment of connecting with his inner energy, he extended his hands towards the cabin and released his ki in an effort to form a protective barrier. At the same time, Bulma took out a capsule containing reserve energy for such special cases.
The robotic voice echoed in the cabin as Bulma inserted the reserve energy while typing the command for the machine to travel much faster and escape from this anomalous situation.
*Thrusters activating… 30 seconds remaining*
The countdown began as the time machine prepared to resume its course through space-time.
"30... 29... 28...". Tension in the cabin increased with each number pronounced by the automated voice. Bulma, still affected by the scene she had just witnessed, clung to any available point of support, her gaze fixed on the course the machine needed to follow to return to the present.
"We'll get through this, I promise," Bulma said, looking at the young man who nodded with determination, finding hope in her resolve.
In a sudden twist, the time machine experienced another intense turbulence. The force field created by Trunks began to weaken, leaving the cabin vulnerable to the chaotic forces surrounding them. Bulma watched with concern as the indicators on the control panel blinked in red.
At a critical moment, the hatch where Bulma was located broke, exposing her to the swirling vortexes extending all around her. Reacting with difficulty, Bulma maneuvered the machine to prevent it from falling into a vortex that had dangerously come close.
"10... 9... 8...". The machine's small voice didn't provide much reassurance in a situation of this magnitude. Both mother and son watched in fear as Mai levitated due to the increasing gravitational pull of the vortex.
Without hesitation, Trunks came to her aid. In those tense moments, Bulma helplessly watched as her son smiled while creating a small energy field that separated him from her to prevent gravity from taking her as well.
"Mother, I'm sorry," he whispered with a sweet tone as the gravity of the vortex began to claim its second victim.
"3... 2..." —It was the last thing Bulma heard before the young man's body was slowly sucked in. With tears in her eyes, Bulma witnessed the harrowing scene of her son leaving, possibly forever, from her life, as the machine reached the final countdown.
"1... 0... IGNITION."
"TRUUUUUUUUUUUUNKS!"
Unable to contain her pain, she screamed her son's name as the time machine escaped the vortexes, taking them into the unknown. The heartbreaking cry echoed in the cabin, an expression of desperation and loss amid the tumultuous journey through space-time.

Within the chaotic vortex, Trunks channeled his ki with determination and transformed into Super Saiyan Rage. Fiery energy enveloped his figure as he advanced with enhanced speed towards where Mai was being dragged.
"Mai, hold on!" Trunks exclaimed vehemently, his voice resonating amid the tumultuous currents of the vortex.
A fiery energy surrounded him, and in a flash, he transformed into Super Saiyan Rage, wasting no time. Utilizing the power of Super Saiyan Rage, he reached Mai in a burst of speed, enveloping her with his arms. Just feeling the warmth of the girl made him realize that, though unconscious, she was still alive. With that resolution, he vowed to protect her with all his being.
The intensity of the transformation shone in his eyes as he held onto her, defying the uncontrollable forces of the vortex.
"I won't let anything happen to you," Trunks affirmed, his voice resonating with determination and restrained fury as he embraced Mai in a protective manner, feeling the chaos of the vortex they were traveling through.
The sensation of being crushed by the voracious forces of the vortex overwhelmed Trunks. Every particle of his being seemed to be subjected to extreme pressure, as if being absorbed by a black hole in space-time. Despite the intensity of the stormy journey, Trunks gathered all his strength, fighting against the overwhelming oppression to protect Mai, who lay unconscious in his arms.
And just when he thought the situation couldn't get any worse, he realized that the gravitational tidal forces that absorbed them were extremely intense. He felt his body starting to be compressed, and even though he was transformed into a Super Saiyan Rage, it was quite a challenge to struggle against the gravitational force of the vortex.
In that anguishing moment, he recalled his mother's teachings about the phenomenon of spaghettification. Bulma's detailed explanations during times of peace echoed in his mind. He understood that, even in his state of maximum power, fighting against the gravitational force of the vortex was a monumental challenge. His mother's words echoed: the universe could be extremely cruel, and they were mere particles in the unfathomable vastness of the cosmos.
Trunks clung to determination, remembering his mother's lessons as he faced the adversities of the vortex, where compression threatened to tear even a Saiyan warrior apart. Amidst the struggle against destructive forces, he grasped the brutal reality of the universe and the fragility of his existence in the cosmic vastness.
With his ki concentrated and his transformation into Super Saiyan Rage, Trunks tenaciously resisted the forces trying to crush him. Every fiber of his being became a beacon of resistance against that incomprehensible force, defying expectations and refusing to submit to the cruel fate that seemed to lurk.
Although the temporal vortex exerted its power mercilessly, Trunks stood firm, channeling the inner strength that drove him to overcome any adversity. In the midst of cosmic chaos, his determination to survive alongside Mai did not waver, and despite everything working against him, he wouldn't let destructive forces overcome him.

[Unknown location, somewhere around midday]
There was a beautiful girl, appearing to be on the verge of her twenties, with black hair tied in twin tails and blue eyes. She hummed a song from what seemed to be a magical girl anime, as indicated by her distinctive cosplay attire typical of otaku culture. She also possessed a blatantly plagiarized scepter from Sakura Card Captor.
"Phew, that was a lot of work," she said in a childish tone while organizing papers and humming again.
This was a rare sight, considering the girl was known for avoiding her duties to spend time on her hobbies.
The cheerful melody was abruptly interrupted when suddenly a thunderous lightning struck the earth with an unusually loud noise, possibly the most thunderous she had ever heard in her life. Immediately, she approached the window to find out the cause of such commotion. Peering outside, she noticed the sky beginning to tint with purple hues, breaking the monotony of the day. Serafall's attention shifted from her work to the window, where she witnessed the celestial spectacle unfolding.
Clouds swirled to form a kind of mirror, and from it emerged a comet of golden color that shone brightly. This comet moved at breakneck speed, giving the impression that it was heading directly towards the castle where she was. Without wasting time, she raised her hands upwards, and a blue magical circle materialized. However, upon closer inspection, she noticed that the comet was heading towards a mountainous area a few kilometers from the castle. Upon impact, it generated a colossal force followed by a gigantic explosion that shook everything in its vicinity.
The castle trembled violently upon the impact of the golden comet, and a shockwave spread from the epicenter. The girl, still in her office, witnessed the magnitude of the cosmic phenomenon. The intense light and thunder resonated through the castle walls, prompting the young girl to quickly approach the window to observe the scene unfolding outside.
"Serafall," a handsome man in his early twenties, with crimson hair flowing down to his shoulders and enigmatic blue eyes, entered the office of the girl now known as Serafall. "Are you okay?"
"Sirzechs-chan," she said, observing her companion, whose expression was one of alarm. "Did you notice it too?"
"Yes," he responded. "I was taking a stroll in the gardens when suddenly the sky turned purple, and that thing shot out."
Both directed their attention to the window, towards the horizon where the comet had impacted, creating a mushroom-shaped cloud in that location.
"Comets falling in the underworld, this doesn't feel right," Sirzechs declared, feeling unease. "Serafall, assemble a squad of soldiers. We need to get answers about what caused the impact of the golden comet. We must investigate this immediately."
The oddity of the situation lay in the fact that such phenomena did not occur in the underworld. This place was magical, and events like the fall of comets were supposed to happen in the earthly realm, not in this realm. This fact alarmed Sirzechs, making him perceive that something extraordinary and potentially dangerous was happening.
"Do you think Ajuka and Falbium are already aware of this?"
Sirzechs, walking alongside her with determined steps, replied, "They're probably already on their way to investigate. Knowing them, they wouldn't waste time addressing a situation like this. Let's not waste any more time."
"Hai."
Following Sirzechs' instructions, Serafall hurried to organize a squad of soldiers, selecting the most capable and prepared for facing the unknown. Meanwhile, at the site of the golden comet impact, Sirzechs headed with her towards the mountainous area, ready to uncover the mysteries surrounding this cosmic phenomenon.
As they approached, the atmosphere became more tense, as if reality itself were altered by the presence of that magical comet. The squad of soldiers, led by Serafall, remained vigilant for any imminent danger. Upon reaching the impact site, they encountered a dazzling yet bewildering landscape.
The golden comet had left a visible mark on the ground, creating a crater surrounded by magical glows. Sirzechs examined the scene carefully, assessing the magnitude of the event. Meanwhile, Serafall gave orders to her soldiers to explore the area and gather crucial information.
Upon closer inspection, Sirzechs noticed a figure wounded—a young man with blue hair. His appearance hinted at the aftermath of the comet impact, manifested in his torn clothes, open wounds, bruises, and blood covering him almost entirely. It was evident that the young man had suffered serious consequences, showing signs of considerable blood loss. Sirzechs' concerns heightened upon witnessing the critical condition of the young man, who was possibly on the brink of death.
He noticed the sword, its blade emitting a mystical energy that filled the air with a faint yet enigmatic luminescence.
"Sirzechs-sama," a soldier spoke with respect, catching the attention of the red-haired young man and pulling him out of his thoughts.
"Did you find out how the girl is?" he inquired.
The soldier nodded seriously. "The girl has some fractures, but fortunately, she is stable. However, her condition will require care and proper medical attention. The fractures seem to be the result of the impact, but there are no signs of more severe injuries," the soldier reported to the pensive Sirzechs. "Do you wish to give any instructions, Sirzechs-sama?"
"It seems that this guy did everything he could to prevent this girl from suffering too much harm," Serafall commented, with admiration in her voice as she observed the young man with serious injuries.
"An heroic action that not many are willing to do these days," Sirzechs said, feeling empathy for the young man's situation.
Serafall approached the injured boy, examining the wounds carefully.
"In that case, I'll take him to my father's hospital. They'll provide the best possible care for his swift recovery," Serafall proposed, displaying compassionate determination.
"That would be the most convenient," Sirzechs agreed, grateful for Serafall's willingness. "Make sure to inform the doctors about the circumstances of the accident so they can provide the appropriate treatment."
Serafall nodded resolutely and prepared to take the young man to receive medical attention, while Sirzechs observed the scene with a thoughtful expression.
"All right, I'll explore the area to see if there are any remnants of this phenomenon and assess the damage. We'll see each other later, Sera-chan."
"Hai, Sirz-chan," she smiled with her characteristic optimistic attitude, bidding farewell to the redhead as he left with his team to explore the surroundings.
Once Sirzechs had distanced himself, the young woman's expression changed drastically, showing signs of distress and concern.
"This feeling..." she murmured in anguish, looking at the young man with fear. "I don't like it."
Despite not knowing the young man's identity or the exact circumstances that brought him there, an unusual connection to the situation and a shadow of fear overwhelmed Serafall. It was as if the presence of the young man carried an aura of mystery and danger that filled her with unease. She didn't understand why she felt this visceral fear, but the uncertainty of the unknown gave her a sense of vulnerability that drove her to seek answers. Before taking him to the hospital, Serafall stopped for a moment, her gaze lost in the young man's face, trying to comprehend the nature of the fear enveloping her.
And not without reason, she seriously reconsidered leaving the young man to his fate and letting Mother Nature decide his destiny. The fear was latent, like a shadow enveloping her in doubt and uncertainty. However, a virtue ingrained in her rose, reminding her of her purpose to help those in need, as long as her abilities allowed.
Although the possibility that the young man could pose some kind of threat crossed her mind, Serafall was not willing to abandon her altruistic principles. Furthermore, she trusted that if the situation took an unexpected turn, her own powers would be sufficient to face any challenge.
Even though she wasn't entirely sure.
Uncertainty had already taken root in the depths of her being and was expected to sprout sooner or later, finding herself at a moral crossroads. Fear and determination clashed within her as she looked at the injured young man, determined to take him to the hospital but with a shadow of doubt persisting in her mind.
Serafall was pulled out of her musings by the respectful voice of a soldier seeking her guidance.
"Serafall-sama," the soldier called.
"Eh," she responded, somewhat puzzled.
"What would you like us to do?" the soldier asked, showing his readiness.
Deciding to set aside her doubts momentarily, Serafall made a practical decision, focusing her attention on immediate action.
"Bring a medical capsule and take him to Sitri Hospital as quickly as possible," she ordered with determination.
The soldier nodded with a "HAI" and hurried to fulfill the task entrusted by his sovereign. Serafall watched attentively as the soldiers carefully arranged the young man to be transported in a medical capsule to Sitri Hospital. Her eyes followed every movement, and although doubts lingered in her mind, the determination to provide assistance prevailed in her actions.

[Universe 7, present timeline]
When the time machine finally emerged in the timeline, Goku, still affected by the intensity of the experience, turned to Vegeta with a confused expression.
"Wow, that was intense, but at least it's over," Goku said, admiring the landscape of their timeline. "Hey Vegeta, do you know what just happened?"
"Why do you always expect me to explain everything?" Vegeta replied, with his usual gruffness. His tone reflected both bewilderment and reluctance to admit a lack of understanding about what had occurred.
Uncertainty lingered in the cabin as the warriors processed the impactful events they had just lived through. The time machine had become their vessel through turbulent dimensions, and unanswered questions filled the space as they continued their temporal journey.
Noticing the visible damage to the time machine, Vegeta was surprised by the extent of the deterioration. Without wasting time, he quickly moved to the main cabin, examining the damaged controls and panels.
"Damn it!" Vegeta exclaimed as he assessed the extent of the damage. His expression became more serious as he realized the gravity of the situation.
He swiftly flew into the cabin. He couldn't see much, and what was more disturbing was that he could only sense his wife's Ki. With the brusqueness that characterized him, he tore away what was left of the door. When the smoke cleared, he frowned with concern upon seeing the shadowed look on his wife's face.
"Bulma!" Vegeta exclaimed upon entering the cabin. He couldn't help but sigh in relief upon confirming that she was fine, but that relief quickly vanished due to the enigma that now unfolded.
"Where are Trunks and the brat?"
The only response he received was the tears streaming down his wife's cheeks, revealing the tragic loss they had just suffered.
End of the Prologue
The prologue has come to an end. Starting from the next update, the chapters will be longer. I would love to know what you think; any review is welcome as it motivates me to keep writing. As mentioned before, I have many ideas, making it easier to update weekly, similar to how mangakas do. I'll adopt the measure of explaining concepts that may become confusing to make the story more enjoyable to read. I hope you like this new perspective.
I'll leave the story in the Dragon Ball Z section to capture enough readers' attention since this is an active fandom. Once the story is sufficiently recognized, I will change the label to a crossover with High School DxD.
Until the next chapter.
