Lincoln was in his room with the lights off, lying in his bed with a depressed and tired look on his face. He shifts towards you when he hears you.

"Hey, everyone." Lincoln says to you in a sad voice. "You're probably wondering why I'm so upset. Well, let me start from the beginning."

"The trouble started when Luna finally introduced us to Sam as her official girlfriend. She was nervous and excited at first, hoping no one felt uncomfortable with Luna's reveal, but we were all understanding, and Mom just told her to relax and feel at home."

"Sam then goes on to tell us stuff; such as things about her parents, how they met, her little brother, Simon; how her mom first introduced her to music, along with her growing passion for it, and also how she and Luna first met."

"At dinner, Luna seemed a little nervous; probably thought that some of our sisters were going to fight and ruin everything. Everyone was being good, though Lynn seemed really hesistant about giving Lucy the last cheese roll when she asked. A little while later, Luna suddenly had to go to the bathroom and quickly runs upstairs."

"About a minute after that, Luna texted me, saying that she wanted me to come to her room due to some sort of emergency. I did as she asked and do so. I saw her sitting in the dark. She goes on to tell me how she was worried that our family's normal chaos would ruin her and Sam's relationship. I tried to convince her not to worry and that if Sam did love her, she'd want to be with her no matter what."

"She then makes a deal with me to help keep the rest of our sisters out of her and Sam's relationship in exchange for helping me with my love life, which convinced me, seeing that I really wanted to start a relationship with Stella, even after the promise that me and my other friends made to not pursue her anymore. I agreed and we did a pinkie-swear to seal the deal."

"After days of Luna teaching me a thing or two about girls, I finally decided to make my move. I found Stella at her locker alone and tried to work up the guts to talk to her, only for her to hear me talking to myself and come up behind me."

"I then started by a simple compliment about how radiant her hair looked today. She seemed to like it and thanked me. That was when I decided to ask her out on a date; at first she thought as friends, but then I told her I wanted to go out with her as a couple."

"She then looked a little uncomfortable and reminded me that she made it clear that she wasn't really interested in a relationship. I told her I remembered and that it was very hard to live with those feelings and that I wanted to get rid of them and not risk ruining our friendship because of my stupidity."

"But then she asked if I remembered how we first met on the bus and that I was the first person who did when no one else would... as she held my hand. She also told me about how at her old school that kids would make fun of her because of her height. It got so bad that her family decided to move here to Royal Woods. At first she thought that things would be the same here as they were at her old home until I came along."

"She said I showed her that people have a kind side and that she shouldn't be ashamed of her height. I never knew how much that meant to her and I was glad to help. We then realized we've been holding hand the entire lenght of her story. I told her I wanted to do so a little longer and was surprised when she told me that she wanted to do so as well."

"She told me at first she was worried about what would happen between us if we did get together. I told her I didn't want her to feel pressured or anything, but then she revealed that she did have feelings for me and that she can't hide them anymore and that if I was okay with that, then she wanted to be my girlfriend. The kiss we shared after she said that was the greatest experience of my life."

"But then our friends showed up and said how disappointed they were with what we were doing. At first, I thought they were talking about me breaking our promise, but then they revealed that they were disappointed that I didn't ask for their help confessing my feelings. They all then told us about other girls they had their eyes on and that they were cool with me and Stella being together, though Rusty didn't seem happy."

"That was when I got a call from Lori saying that Luna hit her head at school and lost consciousness. She was in the middle of an important test, and she couldn't find Leni or Luan, or reach our parents. I then told her that I'll go home right away to watch over her."

"I got home as fast as I could. Lori told me that Luna was upstairs in her room with Sam and to call her if I needed anything. I then went upstairs to her and Luan's room where I saw Sam at her side."

"When I asked how she hit her head, Sam tells me that Mazzy, one of their bandmates, signed them up for a major music competition without telling any of us, which upset me because I was the band's manager and that she should've consulted me before doing so."

"We then go down to the living room to talk more about it so we don't wake up Luna while she's resting. It was there I told Sam about me suddenly being in a relationship with Stella which she thought was sweet. I asked if she had any advice since I haven't been in one yet and she was happy to give me some since she's always wanted to do that with someone. She gave me pointers on kissing while I practiced on Lucy's Edwin bust, which Luna walked in on after she woke up and came downstairs, much to our combined awkwardness."

"After explaining what we were doing, Sam talked to Luna about the Rock Parade's Battle of the Bands contest she brought up before and after some talk, Luna finally decides to participate, with me offering to help out as much as I can."

"For the next month, I've done what I could to help Luna's band prepare for the contest, while spending as much time with Stella, which wasn't easy while being a band manager. Sam and I hung out during practices which I really enjoyed. Then one rainy day, after walking Stella home, we talked about how we haven't had much time together the last month due to me helping Luna's band; but I promised as soon as the competition was done that, we'd go to Dairyland as planned, which made her happy. We then kissed and I started walking home."

"As I did, I thought about how I wanted to do more for Stella and promised myself that I would give her the best day of her life in a few days once the contest was over. As I went through the park, I hear crying, and I look to see Sam crying on a bench. I asked her what was wrong, but she didn't want to talk about it. I offered to walk her home, but she didn't want to because for some reason it brought back bad memories, so I brought her to my house."

"When we got there, she told me about she had a problem with Luna and that she didn't want to talk about it. I let her use our shower due to her being soaked from the rain and seeming to come down with a cold. I provided her with one of Luna's nightshirts to wear while her clothes were in the dryer as she does, much to my awkwardness. During that time, Mom called and told me that Vanzilla broke down again, stranding her and my younger sisters while Dad went to find help. Sam then came out of the bathroom, clean and wearing Luna's nightshirt, which stunned me for some reason; and after promising Mom I'd call my older sisters to let them know about her situation, I do so; I managed to contact most of my sisters, but Luna wasn't answering her phone."

"Sam and I spent some time hanging out together while waiting for the rain to clear up; her stomach growled, much to her embarrassment, so I made a meal for her; with me teaching her how to as well, which she always wanted to do. After a few tries, and a few accidental fires, she finally got it down."

"I then notice familiar-looking scars on her arms which I never noticed before due to her jacket; similar to the ones that Luan's girlfriend, Maggie, had on her arms. She then goes on to tell me about how her parents divorced which led to making life at her home unbearable, due to her mom becoming an alcoholic, and her brother shunning her which led to her giving herself those marks on her arms. She then realizes the reason she's been hanging out with me for the last month was because she wanted to relive the moments she had with Simon because I was so much like him. She admitted that it was wrong and that it caused trouble."

"I felt bad for her family problems and was sorry about it, but then she pointed out the problem with Luna was because she mentioned her father to him in an argument they were having, which surprised me greatly."

"I tried to help Sam fix her relationship with Luna by helping her learn some dance moves she can do with her. When we took a break from it, she got the idea of pranking me by making me think she wanted to kiss me. After she revealed that she was just joking, Luna suddenly comes through the front door and calls out to her."

"Luna then apologizes to Sam for what happened between them earlier, but Sam didn't think she could accept it just like that, especially after Luna opened a deep emotional wound, especially since she knew about her father issues. She then tells her how she told me everything about them, which upset Luna because Sam preferred telling me over her. That lead to a big fight between the two of them, which led to me getting a black eye when I tried to calm things down."

"But then, Mazzy, who was there with Sully, gets a post from their school's facebook group website, showing a photoshopped picture of me and Sam... KISSING! Luna was so upset that she slapped Sam across the face."

"The next day at school, Stella, who saw the photo, comes up to me and slaps me across the face, which hurt in more ways than one. She accused me of cheating on her with Sam. I tried telling her that the photo was fake, but she didn't believe me. She broke up with me after that; it was the worst moment in my life."

"Because of all the looks I've been getting from other students, along with reporters bugging me constantly, plus seeing Stella brought back the memory of the pain I felt after the breakup, I stopped going to school and isolated myself in my room which leads us to where we are right now. I heard that Luna's been confining herself to her room also, due to the pain from her breakup, plus she hasn't spoken to me in a week."

"I hope things get better soon." Lincoln then rolls to the other side to look away from you and tries to get some sleep.
