AN: So I wanted to try my hand at a react/watch/read type of story for a while. However I was unsure who and what it was going to be about. Should it be like MHA Reacts: Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) by KiddolsTheBest that uses time stamps for what the characters are watching. Or should I write everything they are watching like in Class 78th Watches the Future by Spirit Soldier. Then I had to decide if the people they are watching are the people from the source material or was I going to change certain or all characters to fit the series I was using like in RWBY Watches The Cinematic Multiverse by Gold-Sith. Now that I've got all that decided, I'll give it a shot. Now I originally wanted to do something with MHA or RWBY, but both have their own issues. Doing MHA, you have a minimum 20 characters just using 1-A students and that's not including any Teachers, Pro Heroes, or Villains. For RWBY, I've only seen Season/Volume 1 and honestly like people's fanfics more than the show. Plus both groups would find any world without Quirks or Grimm abnormal. Trying to write Izuku Midoriya would be too much of a challenge and I don't know the RWBY cast well enough to do them justice. So I went with The Loud House because the show is normal-ish and they would have a reaction closer to what real people would have. I don't know if I'll continue this, this is more a test to see if I can write one of these types of stories.
Prologue
Disclaimer: I don't own The Loud House. I make no money or profit from this.
In a pocket dimension a being was setting up a home style movie theater. The being was a 6ft tall android wearing a tattered brown robe with the hood up. Its body was cobalt blue and its face was a retro steampunk gas mask with goggles glasses, metal rivets and an anti-fog haze mask. Its goggles eyes glowed red as it looked around at the objects surrounding it. There was an extremely large cloudy gray U shaped sectional couch that could seat 15 people. To the right of the couch were several tables with plates, food, snacks, and drinks. Across from the couch was a 42 feet by 63 feet television screen. "There, everything is ready," the android said to itself. Its voice sounded male with a slight echo, but lacked any emotions. "Hopefully that's enough food, But I can always make more if needed. Now all I need is the audience." He then snapped his fingers and suddenly 12 people popped into the room.
The people were all members of the Loud Family. Rita, Lynn Sr., Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr., Lincoln, Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Lisa. All of them suddenly started looking around, startled, scared, and confused. While everyone was freaking out and asking each other questions, Rita noticed one of the family members was missing. "Where is Lily?!" She yelled out in panic. This had them all looking for the baby of the family, but all stopped when they heard a voice.
"Calm yourselves Loud family," their kidnappers said to them, raising his voice loud enough for all to hear. "I can assure you that your infant Lily is safe."
While most of the family was either scared or in awe at him, Rita wasn't either. "Where is my baby!" She demanded, attempting to intimidate him by getting in his face.
"She is back in your home" he replied, staring down at the furious mother. This caused the family to gasp, thinking Lily was now home alone. "There's no need to worry, back in your home dimension, time is frozen so she will be safe."
This caused everyone to gain confused expressions. "What do you mean home dimension?" Lisa asked.
"Where are we anyway?" Lynn Jr. asked, while looking around.
"You are in a pocket dimension made by my creator," the android replied. "I pulled you from your dimension to bring you here and froze time there."
"And why did you bring us here?" Rita asked, glaring at the hooded android.
"To show you different versions of you and people you know in different realities," he replied. He extended his arms wide as if to show the items around them. "In this pocket dimension, I will show you bits of different realities."
"Why?" Lola asked.
"Because that is my purpose" he replied, as if that explained everything. "My creator made this place, me, and all my powers for just this purpose."
"Who are you?" Lincoln asked.
"What literally are you?" Lori asked.
"Who is your creator?" Lana asked.
"Why did the dude do this?" Luna asked.
"When can we go home?" Lynn Sr. asked.
"Why isn't Lily here?" Rita asked.
"Why are you wearing such ugly, tattered robe?" Leni asked. This question caused the family to look at the ditzy blonde.
"To answer your questions in order," he started to answer. "My creator named me Cobalt Reaper, but just call me Cobalt. I'm an Android. I've never seen my creator, but they can go by many titles. As for why they did this, it is unclear. My creator will do things on a whim without any rhyme or reason. You can go home when my creator allows you to. Finally, Lily isn't here because some of the things you'll see might be very violent and/or be mature subject matter."
"Then why are Lisa, Lola, Lana, and Lucy here?" Luna asked, while pointing at her youngest sisters.
"Because my creator is cruel, but not heartless," Cobalt replied. "He has seen the things they have done and knows they aren't innocent little angels. If they can do things like the Sister Protocol or Bad Luck Fiasco, then they should be able to handle it." This caused the family to look down in shame. "If they can't, then they think of this as a punishment for something they did."
"What did you mean by your creator having different titles?" Lucy asked.
"My creator, and others like them, all call themselves by different titles" the android started to explain. "Some call themselves gods, others go by observers, a few go by world crafters, some are seen as devils or demons, and some are meddlers."
"This is ridiculous, none of this can be real!" Lisa shouted in frustration. "There is no scientific evidence to prove any of this is real. This is most likely some sort of hallucination."
"I respect your dedication to science, but…" Cobalt started saying, before kneeling down in front of her. He then moved one of his hands around and had an apple from the tables float to it. This caused everyone to look at him in shock and awe, including the family genius. He then put the apple into her hands. "...As you'll see in some of these realities, there are things that science can't explain. So it would be best to keep an open mind." He then stood up back and walked to stand in front of the large screen. Lisa meanwhile was looking between the apple and the android with a calculating gaze. "Any more questions before we begin?" He asked, looking at the family. He then sees Lola holding up her hand.
"Why haven't we heard Luan make a pun yet?" she asked, causing everyone to look at the family prankster.
"My creator doesn't care for jokes and puns," Cobalt replied. "So they made it so none can be said here, unless they allow it." Hearing that made Luan attempt to make a pun, only for her mouth to move but no sound to come out. All the loud children began to cheer, while the parents looked worried. When Luan started talking normally, her voice returned. "Now that you know what's going on and that you can't leave. So I suggest you get some food, take a seat, and try to enjoy watching other realities. Also one more thing, any time someone starts talking. The screen will pause and resume when all is silent."
The family looks around at each other and realizes they don't have any other choice. The only one who might be able to get them home was Lisa, but she was just as lost as the rest of them. The parents reassure their children things are going to be alright. All the kids were unsure, but decided to trust their parents. They all grabbed some food and took a seat on the couch and waited to see what happened next.
AN: Not much of an introduction chapter, but I wasn't quite sure how to do it with this series. I will put the source material in the Chapter's title. If I do continue this, I might add more people but no promises.
