Murray had carried Julia on the couch and followed others to the backyard, but Vexen had stayed inside and started to brush the shattered plate.
"Were you going to use that?" she heard Sly asking, who kneeled on her right side.
Vexen closed her eyes and blew air outside.
"It was in my mind, but then I realized that it wasn't Bethanie." Vexen explained and stood up.
"Okay. What if Julia remembers that?" Sly asked again and opened the trash can, where Vexen let pieces fall.
"It wouldn't damage her at all. Why do I get the feeling that you don't trust me?" Vexen whispered to Sly, sounding tight.
"I am, but if she remembers that moment, we have to get ready." Sly answered the sameway.
"Said the person who faked own amnesia." Vexen said dryly and looked outside the window.
"That was a different thing!" Sly raises his voice, forgetting that one of them is unconscious.
"Shut up, both of you!" A tight whisper stops their beginning argument.
Vexen and Sly looked at Kate, who had walked closer to them and they saw she swallowed her frustration and bowed her head to take air.
"If you two have to argue without reasons, then go outside. Or then go tell the others that Julia fainted because she saw Kit's hand." Kate explained to them, trying to sound herself.
"But, what if she remembers everything?" Sly asked, where Kate raised her head and looked at him.
"Then we keep her calm. Look, I'll stay here and wait when she wakes up, okay?" They got a calm and professional answer from Kate, who walked back to the living room side and sat on the couch.
Sly and Vexen walked to the terrace, and others looked at them waiting for information, even though they had seen the situation.
"Okay, here's what we are going to do;" Sly started to tell everything to them.
"If Julia doesn't remember about the moment, we will tell her that she fainted, seeing your hand."
Kit looked at her hand, where Bentley had put a new gauze.
"Can't believe it," she huffed tiredly and looked at the backyard, while leaning to the wood pillar.
"I can't believe it. I have a witch mark on my hand and this Bethanie wants to meet us in haunted time. What is wrong with her?!"
"Kit, I know that this is a shock for you, we will help you to get-" Bentley said, but Kit stopped him and showed her gauzed hand.
"Do you think that this will disappear, just like that?!" Kit shouted and snapped fingers at the sametime, but then hid her face and shook her head.
"Sorry, I act like a spoiled child, while there's important things on now." Kit said and looked at others swallowing.
"You have felt a lot lately." Vexen comforted her and was going to put her hand on Kit's shoulder, who took a step away from her.
At that moment the slide door opened and Kate told them that Julia started to wake up.
Bethanie leaned to the rocky wall, feeling how she was weaker after using magic. She looked at the cave, where there was still an invisible wall, to keep them away from noisy people.
Bethanie looked at the right and saw Archie sleeping deeply on the ground, and then something came out of him. His aura's piece.
"Oh, a slightly dark green aura. You have been jealous." Bethanie said and raised her hand closer. A line came into her bloodline and looked at her wrist, feeling better.
"Why thank you Archie, what a splendid gift." she said adoringly, but smiled darkly.
"How're you?" Kate asked, walking back to the inside and sat on the couch, while the others followed her.
"I'm okay. Let me guess; I fainted?" Julia asked and started to feel embarrassed, thinking how she got attention again.
The only thing that Julia remembered was how she had turned around and then, everything went dark.
"Well yeah~, but it was like an 1800's century -fainting. Not like a falling tree." Kate joked, but saw Julia looking at her with a dry poker face, where Kate zipped her lips.
After a minute or two, Penelope and Bentley start to tell that some of them should go to the Pendle hill, while some of them stay in the cottage.
"We should get a whiteboard and some markers." Vexen mentioned, while Penelope and Murray searched the streets to the hill on the map.
"There was a bookstore near the library. Maybe they sell those." Penelope said, while making a circle to the map.
…
The word 'sell' raised trust with Julia. This is what she hopes more with her brother, conversation. She sighed, which came out trembling and hid her mouth behind her hand, doing fake yawning.
"Sorry, I'm going to wash my face." Julia said and was going to stand up, when Kit stood up quickly and looked at her.
"Julia before you go, I need to tell you something."
Everyone looked at Kit, trying to silence her with their looks, but they saw how she put her hands carefully together.
…
Kit started to tell everything, but instead she told the truth, Kit told that she was in the castle again and Bethanie had told her that they had to meet in the castle.
"Do we have to go there at 3 am?" Julia asked, feeling chills on her arms. She has never liked the old castles, they always gave her a feeling that someone is behind her.
The others were relieved that she didn't remember anything about that.
"Unfortunately yes." Bentley said, who didn't like that idea either.
Julia washed her face in their small bathroom, when she looked at her reflection from the mirror.
Downstairs she had felt something shattering inside of her, which she has almost managed to heal. A memory, when she and her brother had an argument.
"Where have you been, I have been worried?" Julia asked, after rushing out of her bedroom.
"I told you that I'll be home late." Her brother said, after closing the door behind him.
"But it's almost 2 in the morning. You should call me or text me." Julia said and walked closer to him.
"Hey, you have no idea about my life, do you?!" he shouted and looked at her tightly.
That look always freezes Julia, there's something which swipes her bravest away.
"Well, do you?!"
Julia didn't know what to do, she looked at her feets and heard steps getting closer.
"Hey, my eyes are here!" he snapped his finger, where Julia looked at his brother with her eyes, opened her mouth and only could whisper the words.
"I'm sorry, I should wait until morning."
"Good. And thanks to you I'm getting more tired." He said and slammed his bedroom door.
…
Julia had walked to her own bedroom and tried to get some sleep on her huge bed, but her mind wandered to the situation, if it would be the opposite between them.
"I know that I'm late and I'm sorry. My phone battery died so I couldn't call you. We both are tired, so let's talk about this when we have got some rest, okay?"
Julia opened her eyes and walked to her work desk to write. She wasn't tired at all.
Julia realized that water was on and she turned off the water, dried her face, looked in the mirror and took a deep breath.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." She told herself and opened the bathroom door.
