Basically, adding Precursor Monks to Jak 1 and 2 and exploring their beliefs to add a bit of worldbuilding around this part of the Jak universe.

Jak and Keira have been close since they were children, but when they travel through the Precursor Ring they find themselves separated in the hostile streets of Haven City. With the crumbling metropolis under fascist rule and embroiled in war, it will take everything they have to find each other again. And if they do, will they still be the same? A novelization of Jak II.

This takes place right after the end of Jak X. Just a nice little story with Jak and Keira.
