After Math was what I ran into. It was too late when I got there. Sara was nowhere to be seen. Sion was bleeding and Marine wasn't any better off. "Sion! Marine!" I ran up to them. "Captain had I feeling you would be here soon." She tried to laugh it off. I frowned at her. "Sorry to say you are a bit late." I knew that she didn't have to tell me! "What happened? Where's my Master?" she sighed, "She was taken. she tried to buy us sometime with a barrier. But you know...she kind of suck at magic." she joked. "She's still alive?"
"For now. It appears they were looking for her for some time." They had been searching for her. Why? "She used to be part of a family that was high up there in the mage's circle, but she gave up her heir spot." she told me. "It was too dangerous for her to keep it but..." That clearly wasn't enough to stop the hunters. "It appears they were paid to find her and catch her. For whom? I don't know." I felt fearful. I had to get a move on before they got too far away. I could still sense her. She still wasn't too far away.
"I'm going after them. Take Marine and return to the ship."
"Well of course you are. You have to save your princess." I glared at her but couldn't stop the redness from coming across my face. "Shut up." I whispered before I took off again following her magic energy I could feel in the area. Sion laughed to herself, "Not like you will ever be truthful toward her about what you think of her." she knew this. He was very fond of her. Sion could see it easy but of course she couldn't. He had been for a long time. But he did it best to try to hide it away. But when he would look at her it was clearly there in his eyes even if his mouth and heart would hide it away. "Idiot. you aren't good at hiding things." Sion felt annoyed about it. Because even if he did hide it the Marines couldn't. They were a part of him after all. They had said many times before how much they loved they're master. If anything, the Marines showed the raw emotions of Nemo. It was part of who they were. So, they couldn't help but be truthful toward her when they spoke with her.
Master. Master hold on.
She wasn't meant to be in a dangerous situation. She couldn't really defend herself very well. She wasn't cut out for this kind of stuff. That's why she gave up her title to start with. For being a Mage, she was as low level as she could be. That's why. That's why! It was my job to protect her! I promised her, that I would.
I'll Protect you, Master. That's a promise.
"Yo! hurry it up we are way behind on getting back!" There was a ship just right outside of town. Where were they taking me. I shook with fear. But I couldn't do a thing they quickly and tied me up. "Don't worry little kitty. For now, you will live but after you get turned in who knows what will happen~" they laughed.
No. No... No! This can't be it. I can't...I can't. Nemo, please help me!
as I thought that out of nowhere one of the hunters fell over dead. "What? What the hell just happened?!" they panicked. "He's...He's been shot in the head!" one of them grabbed me and looked around. "Are there enemies around us?" one of them asked. "Maybe the kitty has a bodyguard we don't know about?" One asked. "But we only saw that damn kid!" Had there been another one not there at the time? As soon as the other one said that he was shot as well and fell over dead. "You got to be kidding me." He stepped back looking around the area but didn't see a thing. "Where are you?! I know you are here show yourself!" he yelled holding a blade up to her neck. "Do anything stupid and I will kill her."
"If I see...any blood from her you will not live to see the end of the day." The voice came from behind him. What? how? He shortly felt a gun against his back. "Let her go now." The voice was angry but soft. "Why would I listen to you? just because you ask? all I have to do is get to the boat and you are out of luck." he tried to call his bluff. "You are too late. I have removed your boat." the boat was sinking fast.
How had this guy done this so fast?! He slowly let go of master as she slowly fell to the ground. But he quickly turned around to attack me. I pushed him away as I took hold of master putting distance between us. She had a shock look across her face. "It's going to be alright." I whispered to her. "Huh? you killed the others? but you are just a kid!" he yelled pointing at me. "Judging me on my size will be wrong to do. As a Servant you should never judge people by how they look." I told him as I took on my adult form.
"S-Servant?! they never said she had a Servant!" I glared at him as I stepped toward him. "Shit shit shit!" he knew the servant was super pissed off. He knew he was in trouble. A human fighting a Servant never ended well for humans. Most of the time humans would die in those fights. he was the only one left. he had killed all the others that were with him even the ones on the boat were dead.
No... No! how did he find them so quickly?! How?! He was panicking. So much he was paying attention at all. Before he knew it. The servant was standing in front of him and held the gun to his head, "Goodbye." A loud shot was heard as the man fell to the ground. I glared at the man one more time as I made my way back over to Master. I quickly started to untie her and slowly remove the cover from her mouth. "Master." I whispered to her. She quickly started to cry. I quickly started to panic. "Did They hurt you? Are you hurt?" She shook her head. "Nemo. Nemo I...I..." was all she could get out of her mouth before she clings onto me. She was shaking she had been really scared. But of course. this was the same group of people who had taken the life of her sister. So of course she was scared. I threw my arms around her trying to calm her down. "It's alright. You are safe." I whispered to her. She wouldn't let go not that I minded. I softly rubbed her back doing what I could to comfort her.
I took some time to calm her down fully. But I couldn't really blame her for that. This whole thing had been too close for her. She wasn't meant to be in danger. I picked her up into my arms and started to carry her. She quickly tried to argue against it. But I wouldn't hear it. she hid her face being embarrassed from being carried by me. I couldn't help but smile about it.
Cute.
She hid her face against my shoulder, but I still could see it a bit. "Master. Are you alright? you're face looks a bit red." I teased her. "Shut up, you idiot." She said annoy back at me. I smirked as I lightly kissed her on her forehead. Even if this had been a bad problem somehow it fix us fighting. Well...I guess this is how we made up?
