"A new roller rink opened and we're going rollerblading. You wanna come as it'll be fun." Shadow heard Sonic say. It was Friday afternoon and they were home but Tom and Maddie had heard about an new roller rink opening but Shadow fliched as it brought back a sweet memory of him and Maria rollerskatibg down the halls feeling his hands shake biting his lip teleporting to his room making Sonic forget, Shadow used to rollerskate with Maria feeling bad he might've triggered him. "Is Shadow okay, he looked upset." Tails asked
"I might've triggered him talking aboht that new roller rink. We should leave him be." Sonic said hearing Maddie say they were having pizza asking where Shadow was hearing he was having alone time plus Tails had made something for Shadow using his ho,o gram texh as they knew about Maria and how important she was to him hoping Shadow would appreciate it.
"You made him a hologram of Maria, didn't you." Maddie asked seeing Tails nod.
"It wasSonic's idea, to make Shadow a lil happier." Tails replied to her. They then saw Shadow teleport hugging Sonic making him get it feeling bad he'd upset him. "I'm sorry… I hurt Tom as I didn't know. I thought it was Captain Walters pkus I was hurting." Shadow said softly. "Sshhh Shads you've nothing to say sorry for, as Tom's okay but I appreciate the apologgy and get why you don't wanna go." Sonic replied to him.
"Yeah, I know but it… triggered me when I did it." Shadow told him.
They then heard Maddie calling them for dinner, as they went downstairs making Shadow grin seeing pizza but enjoying it feeling better after sleeping, talking to Maria about things noticing Sonic eating chilli dogs making Shadow roll his eyes at him drinking soda but saw Tom and Maddie leaving with Sonic, Knuckles and Tails to go to the roller rink feeling bad Shadow was home alone as Sonic explained to them, Shadow would be triggered because used to rollerblade with Maria which they got and would be back in a while making Shadow sighing. He headed to the kitchen to make himself coffee as it would relax him listening to music especially Taylor Swift which Maria had introduced him to.
"At least Sonic doesn't know about this. He'd have a field day with this." Shadow muttered.
"So, what did you do, while we were at the roller rink." Shadow heard Sonic ask him. It was later that night and Sonic, Knuckles and Tails had gotten back from the roller rink making Shadow sigh. "I just was listening to music and made myself coffee and reading the book we were assigned." Shadow told him making Sonic get it knowing Shadow haddid his report on the book making Sonic sighing knowing he had t9 read it and write that report.
"Maybe I can help you with it since I already did mine." Shadow told him making Sonicget it saying he'd like that making Tom and Maddie like that idea as Sonic normally read comics which counted as reading in his world.
