It Reminds Me of The Hunt!
A late night had Karakura town. Many were fast asleep during this time, but others lay in their beds thinking about current events.
Ichigo, one of them, stared at the ceiling and remembered his earlier visit.
Flashback~
Ichigo sat on his chair watching the fellow Soul Reaper in the room. Messing with Kon, Renji had his entire hand down the lion-stuffed animal's mouth. Digging for the soul candy within. While Ikkaku and Yumichika were both lazy, they leaned against the wall.
Rukia sat on Ichigo's bed and Toshirou sat on the floor.
"So that's why it can move. For a second, I thought it was some fancy wind-up doll," Renji said. Rangiku was fascinated as well, staring at the mod soul.
"I've never seen anyone use soul candy on a teddy bear. I didn't know it worked with stuffed animals. Those research and development guys do some crazy things," Rangiku marveled. Ichigo grew slightly annoyed that all these people were uninvited in his room.
"Hey! You! Guys!" He shouted. Renji turned around innocently.
"What?" Renji asked.
"When are you guys leaving?" Ichigo asked just them to leave his room. He meant when they would go back to the soul society.
"We're not, until then Arrancars have been defeated," Renji expressed a different feeling of concern. "There is also another issue we need to discuss with you,"
All of the soul reapers there had somewhat disturbed expressions. As if they didn't even wanna talk about it in the first place. Ichigo let out a sigh and scratched the back of his head.
"Look, you guys already explained the Arrancar's situation to me. What else is there?" Ichigo asked. Rukia gripped her hand, unsure how to explain the recent events in Soul Society.
"Listen, Ichigo. Recently the head captain of the Royal Court squad came down personally to warn us."
Ichigo raised an eyebrow at her friend. "What's the warning about?"
Renji decided to stand up and he was gonna take the lead in this conversation. "Look Ichigo, you have been informed about the rules of the afterlife. You know a lot of the basics, you understand that there's hell, you understand there's a realm for hollows in Hueco Mundo but in the old days there was a legend about another afterlife, one that the Soul King didn't make."
Ichigo paused at the information he heard. He wondered if it had anything to do with Keigo. He had been told about the ghost zone. Did this have anything to do with his friend?
"Yeah sort of, Kisuke kind of filled me in, but not all the details," Ichigo lied, knowing it was Yankii and Keigo. Who explained some of the basics of the ghost zone to him.
"Well, from what we know it's an extremely dangerous place. I've heard of the stories, but I think the most terrifying thing is what happens when souls go through the ghost zone," Renji said.
"We've never seen anything, but we heard about the stories," Toshirou said as he glanced up at Ichigo with his cool gaze. "Souls that have been in contact with the ghost zone lose their soul chains and become something worse than a hollow from what we've heard they become specters being tortured from their past. Turning into monsters."
Ichigo paused at that information because I didn't sound like Keigo at all.
"They can't be affected by spiritual pressure from what we've been told. They're extremely dangerous and territorial. We're also here to see why ghosts are coming here," Rukia added. Ichigo listened but a certain question had popped up in his mind.
"Can I ask why you call them ghosts, when all you are well spirit," He asked.
"It's because while we are in another afterlife, ghosts truly fit the definition of spirit. We are still here in the physical world, even though people don't see us, we are all made of spiritual energy. Ghosts, on the other hand, are completely made of Ecto energy, which we cut from different clothes. They are a completely unknown factor to us, which makes them extremely dangerous. We all thought the ghost zone was a fairytale at the end of the day, but knowing it's real and that it's been cut off from the rest of the world for who knows how long. It makes me wonder what wants to get out," Toshirou said with a heavy tone. Renji, with a relaxed smile, looked at his friend.
"So Ichigo you haven't seen any ghosts of you?"
Ichigo paused looking at all of them.
"No, I haven't,"
Ichigo stared at the ceiling, unsure if he should've told the truth. Why were they after ghosts, and why was the ghost zone so dangerous? Then again, he had witnessed Keigo put holes into Yammy.
Ichigo gripped his fist, remembering how his friend was shaking and scared after that fight. If only he had been stronger. No, he had Yammy, he cut off his arm. If it wasn't for this damn inner hollow that had held him back.
"Keigo just wait, I'll be stronger so you won't have to get your hands bloody like that again, I hope he's doing okay,"

Keigo Phantom
The night had settled, and a full moon was out, illuminating the streets down below. However, it was only partly because it was cloudy. Yet walking alone out at this time was Keigo. With a grocery bag full of juice.
All he wanted to do was go home, relax, and play video games. When he finally got his hands on some new games, he couldn't even play them.
Keigo glowed in annoyance. He had found himself walking in the middle of the night to get juice for his sister. He had drank all of the juices in the fridge.
Still, that didn't mean he was going to enjoy night shopping. Keigo suddenly stopped when he felt his ghost flare up again. He looked all around himself even at the top of the buildings, but he didn't see anything.
"Gosh darn it! I keep sensing a ghost, but I don't see one," Keigo said, annoyed at his powers. "Maybe I'm getting some kind of ghost sickness or something,"
The young teen just ignored the warning and walked off. All he just needed to do was find a vending machine and go home.
Unknown to Keigo appearing out of thin air, Skulker had a mischievous smile on his face; studying his prayer for at least some time now.
He was a hunter, a tracker, and a great killer. Looking at the signs and routes Keigo would take. Even if he was human, people still had habits. Skulker smirked and put away his binoculars.
"Good the ghost boy is taking its usual route, there I have a perfect trap set for him," Skulker thought. Holding his right arm up from his forearm two green blades shot up.
"Dead or alive you'll make a great trophy!"
Keigo stood at the vending machine he put in his money and got all the bottles. Put all of them in an old grocery bag and started to walk away.
"Sniff!"
Keigo paused, hearing a sniffle close by. Looking behind, he noticed that someone was sitting around the corner. Someone was crying. Kei walked around the corner. He saw the long legs first and then the school uniform.
It was a familiar face, the same one he scolded and apologized to.
Isane whipped her eyes and glanced up in surprise at Keigo. Getting up and acting like nothing happened.
"It's you, don't mind me, I'm just sitting down-" Isane was cut off by Keigo.
"Were you crying?" Keigo asked. Isane paused seeing she couldn't just talk this away. She awkwardly scratches the back of her head.
"Yes… I was crying. It's good to see you again," Isane found herself trying to keep calm but slowly she took a step back. Keigo was surprised and pointed at her.
"Don't just walk away! I mean why were you crying? don't make me just feel bad because you're crying!" Keigo shouted with a serious look. Isane paused and nervously twirled her hair.
"Well… it's just… I," Isane was having trouble explaining herself. Keigo could see this was probably the best he was gonna get from her.
"Hey, if you don't wanna tell me then that's okay. Just make sure you get home safe," Keigo turned around and began to walk home. There was also a matter of fact that he probably didn't wanna deal with any of those new strange transfer students. Isane paused and sadly looked down on the floor.
"I don't have a home."
Keigo paused and turned around. She could see that Isane was truly sincere, he slightly gawked at her.
"What do you mean? I thought you and your transfer buddies Would, I don't know, have found a place by now," Keigo asked out loud. Isane shyly rubbed the back of her head.
"Everyone has a friend in this town to crash with, but I don't know anyone here. So I didn't want to be rude and ask," Isane said, looking at the floor. "Besides, I doubt they have a room to fit such a tall girl like me."
"So what happens now for you?" Keigo asked. Isaen looked up with saddened eyes.
"I was thinking about sleeping on the streets, it's cold but it will do," Isane said sadly. Keigo let out a tired sigh, he couldn't just stand around and do nothing.
"Hey, maybe you can crash with me and my sister tonight. Sleeping on the street doesn't sound too nice. Besides, I can owe you one for calling you a man," Keigo said with a lax smile.
"You don't mind at all? Thank you!" Isane humbly bowed to Keigo. The young teen smiled feeling good about helping someone.
"But would I be too much of a burden for you?" Isane asked sadly. Keigo looked confused.
"Of course not, honestly, I'm having a boring night again. Besides, I don't think you're the type that causes trouble," Keigo said honestly.
"Well, that's nice of you," Isaen said awkwardly, not blaming him for seeing the other lieutenants' attitude.
"Yeah, and I got everything done for tonight. So if you just wanna follow me, I'll show you my place," Keigo then slowly walked away, making sure he wasn't moving too fast. Isane quickly followed behind.
"Thank you so much, this is my first time being in this town so I'm a little lost too."
Keigo looked over his shoulder, and an idea popped up in his head. "Hey, since you're new to this town, I can show you the cool spots!"
"That sounds fun, if it's not too much trouble, maybe you could show me a dessert place." Isane shyly asked. Keigo smirked and proudly pointed at himself with his thumb.
"So you have a sweet tooth. It's a good thing to ask this fella 'cause I know the best ice cream joint in town," Keigo spun around and headed in the opposite direction. Isane quickly followed him but felt a little pip in her step. She thought it was a mistake, coming here to the world of a living after all. Rangiku was the one who dragged her along, and her captain agreed for her to come, saying that she needed more field experience.
This was nice knowing that she wasn't alone, or completely lost. Keigo looked at Isane and had a questioning glance.
"Hey, so what's up with you're other friends, they kinda look a little strange... I mean different," Keigo quickly, correcting himself, not wanting to sound rude.
"That's a long story," Isane chuckled.
"Yeah, no kidding, that balled guy was ready to fight me, what's his deal?" Keigo asked. Isane scratched her cheek, laughing uncomfortably.
"He is kind with the fighting crowd if you know what I mean," Isaen wasn't one to lie, but I didn't mean she was good at it. Fortunately for her Keigo didn't draw any suspicion about her.
"So what about you? out for a midnight stroll or just running errands for yourself?" Isane asked quickly, changing the conversation. Keigo sulked and looked forward.
"I'm running an errand for my sister, and if I don't come home with said juice, I'm expected to be in a headlock. It feels like I'm more of a doormat than a brother to her," Keigo said honestly. Isaen sympathized, looking down at the floor, knowing that she had a moment of not speaking up for herself.
"I get that," She said. Keigo glanced back at her.
"I get it. You must be one of those gentle giant types, am I right?" Keigo asked.
"That's one way of putting it," Isane said.
"Well, don't you worry as long as I'm here, I'm pretty sure they will walk over me before they get to you," Keigo said to lighten up the mood. Isane found herself laughing. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so bad.
The night was going well for Keigo and Isane. Skulker was furious as he threw his binoculars down on the ground.
"He was right there on the trap. You just had to take one more step, and I would've gotten him!" Skulker yelled. He quickly calmed himself down and glanced ahead at the road they were taking.
"Looks like I'm going to have to set up another trap," Skulker said, scratching his chin.
Keigo and Isane walked down the road, both of them having an awkward expression. Isane didn't forget the time She slapped Keigo. Thinking about it now, what she did seems childish.
Keigo was also embarrassed about what he said earlier. Calling Isane a man, he swore never to be so rude to chicks. It was an off day for him. Now there's a realization that maybe he could make up for this little mishap.
"Sorry-"
"Sorry-"
Both of them paused as they spoke at the same time.
"No, you go first-"
"No, you go first-"
They both found it strange and Keigo quickly pointed at the sky. "Look, it's a UFO!"
Isane spun her head to the sky and saw nothing. Confused, there was nothing there turning back to Keigo who had a sly smile.
"Alright, now that I broke the tie, I'll go first," Keigo said with a smirk. Isane found herself chuckling at what Keigo had done.
"So, what did you want to say first?" She asked.
Rolling his shoulders and nodding to himself, Keigo took a deep, nervous breath.
"What happened at school, Sorry for calling you a man. That wasn't cool of me. And I'm not helping with the whole new school thing." The apology made Isane happy to see that humans in the living world weren't all bad.
"It's no real big deal, I shouldn't have hit you, sorry about that,"
Keigo paid it no mind. To him a slap was kind of tame with the coward he always hangs with. "Hey, it's all cool, A lot of my friends tend to get one over me, so I can take some punishment."
"Oh no, they shouldn't do that to you. Are you alright?" She asked in worry.
"Hey, I'm fine, trust me it's nothing too horrible. Sort kinda like ruff housing you know," Isane nodded but still felt a little worried. They continued to walk through the urban area. The night breeze was gentle and the clouds today were big.
"Isane, why are you here by the way? Seems like a strange time to transfer to another school at this time, also why were you guys looking for Ichigo? Did he beat another school bully and you're here for revenge?" Keigo asked. Isane froze at the question realizing that he was quite observant. Isane gulped, needing a cover story.
"Well, One of my friends, I think you might know her. Her name is Rukia; we just wanted to come along for fun," Isane said, trying to make a convincing cover story. Keigo smiled, remembering that name.
"Get out of town, you know, Rukia, that's crazy. She is one of my friends too. I should say I mostly know her. She kind of hangs out with Ichigo, my other friend, since you know him,"
Isane turned to Keigo in an astonished manner. She can't help but think what a small world. "I hear he's a handful at times, is that true?"
Keigo reminisces about the time you tried to surprise his friend only to end up flat out on the floor. "I would say he is a pretty chill guy."
"Uh, the gut punch I got from him would disagree," Isane thought when she had an encounter with the legendary substitute Soul Reaper when they were about to execute Rukia. She tried to apprehend Renji who was trying to escape with Rukia only to be knocked out. Keigo could see what Isane was thinking but he couldn't help but think about the other girl that was with them, the redheaded chick, whose breasts looked like they were gonna pop out of the uniform.
"So who was that bombshell you were hanging out with?" Keigo asked. Isane had a bit of an uneasy expression, she didn't want Keigo to go through Rangiku, especially how she deals with men who try to ask her out.
"Her name is Rangiku, and I can tell by the way you're looking. And that it's not gonna happen, trust me, you're doing yourself more of a favor," The tone she used was frustration. Isane couldn't believe she was here. She just got mixed up in this whole situation. Rangiku had chased her down in the soul barracks. Dragging her along because two people from Squad Eleven. She just wanted a medic to come along so that if someone got hurt, Isane would be there.
"I mean how bad could she be?" Keigo asked curiously.
"She drinks, is messy, lacks manners, and has no sense of shame!" Isane angrily said. Pausing at the sudden outburst realizing how awkward it was.
"Sorry I didn't mean to freak out," Isane said quietly. Keigo cracked a smile, he then bumped his arm into hers.
"Then I guess I owe you even more, I was going to try and make a move on her. Thanks for letting me dodge the bullet," Keigo said.
Isane slightly blushed but was glad to receive some form of praise. "Don't mention it, so… how much farther to go, until we reach the ice cream spot?"
"Not too long, but If they're close, you can split this juice with me. I kind of bought a little too much for my sister but some compensation for the trouble," Keigo said with a lax tone of voice. Isane found the offer to be generous.
"Then, I'll take you up on that offer," Isane couldn't help but have a bit more pep in her step. Maybe the world of the living wasn't so bad after all. She just never understood why Aizen would try to hurt this place.
Skulker had just set the next perfect trap. Hanging right around a dark corner, where he was sure his prey would be.
Finally, he was satisfied with this trap, All that was needed was to wait. He flew up high until he reached the building covering himself from above so no one from above could spot him.
The gnarly metal smile that was his teeth formed a crooked grin. "Half ghost and half-human, one of a kind and soon you'll make that crown jewel of my collection,"
Behind Skulker was a metal, floating cage hidden behind him stuffed to the brim like a Thanksgiving turkey with strange ghosts, unlike any other. Trophies from his previous hunts. He wanted to add one more to the collection.
Yet from behind a ghost snuck up, wearing the same tired, working uniform. It was the box ghost. With his greedy red eyes set on the cage. His hands slowly reached for it only for Skulker to stand up straight.
Without looking at the Box Ghost, he spoke to him. "Touch the box, and I'll have you skinned over my fireplace."
Box Ghost froze in fear. "Beware!" He shouted like a child who was caught by an adult, and he quickly disappeared.
"This time I'll get you!" Skulker thought. He waited for his prey. He slowly regretted, throwing away his binoculars, smashing them on the ground and his fit of rage. He couldn't quite see what was down below, but he could make out silhouettes.
Keigo had to just set off the trap and step into the area. It was motion-censored; anything could set off, but Skulker was so sure that Keigo would come this way. That nothing could go wrong.
"Hey just around this corner and will be there," Keigo called out to Isane who was a little behind.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be right behind you…" Isane paused, she felt her breath leaving her body. The wave of intense spiritual pressure that had suddenly appeared. There was something powerful approaching her. Was it hollow or another soul reaper? She couldn't figure out the difference; her hand instinctively went for her back pocket. She packed an emergency soul candy. That way, the Gigi she wore could take her spot. Her hand screeched through her pocket only to feel there was nothing there. Her eyes went wide with fear. Did she forget?
The answer spoke for itself. How did she lose it, the only time she ever really could say was when she fell, and Keigo had caught her. The Soul Candy was the size of a marble; it could've easily fallen out of her pocket. Realized she wouldn't be able to go into her Soul Reaper. Isane was a sitting duck.
"It's okay, I'll just go to Kisuke shop, there should be an extra one there," Isane thought.
Keigo glanced over his shoulder, seeing as Isane wasn't moving. He slowly approaches her, and when Keigo is close enough, able to find the fear on Isane's face.
"Hey, hey. What's wrong?" Keigo was grabbed by the shoulders and Isane had a terrified look.
"Keigo you have to get out here! Now!" She cried out.
"Wait, why? What's wrong?" Keigo asked, yet Isane didn't answer. She was going to try and come up with some reason, but the spiritual pressure that Isane felt was making her legs shake. This spiritual level was on par with a captain or more. Keigo felt that familiar tickle when one person tried to force their spiritual pressure over a ghost, which was oddly relaxing.
"You know, I was on my way to see who killed one of my men, but seeing how close you are. I just had to investigate." A bone-chilling voice called out from above. Isane could see the figure slowly floating down, Keigo even turned around, wondering who had just spoken.
Standing was a muscular man with light blue spiky hair and light blue eyes. There's green eyeshadow below them. It looked like makeup, but at the same time, it resembled the appearance of a cat. His attire was out of a white hakama, a sash wrapped around his waist, and a ragged white jacket with an upturned collar. The inner lining of his jacket is black, and he wore his sleeves rolled up, leaving his very muscular arms exposed. There were fragments of bone on his right jaw. His coat opened to show he wore no undershirt. He then began to introduce himself. "Names Grimmjow, Arrancar number six."
Keigo's eyes widened in horror, seeing the black hole in this stranger's chest. "No, No, anything but you guys again!"
He landed on the ground while studying the two of them. Grimmjow glanced at Isane, feeling the spiritual energy from her. He wasn't impressed. Didn't even think it was worth killing but when glanced at Keigo he paused.
He took a couple of moments before, only to smile with a mad grin. "Hey, you're him, aren't you? The guy who took down Yammy!"
Keigo halted in moving as he had been discovered. Isane was confused and stepped forward.
"You have the wrong people I never fought this-"
"Not you," Grimmjow said, cutting her off. Then pointed at Keigo. "I mean him. You hear that green freak, so why did you change your hair? Is it some kind of trick? Think you can hide from us."
This made the young teen tense up and wanted to activate his ghost powers immediately but was waiting for the right moment. He couldn't just transform into a random person. What if they go off and tell someone of his secret?
Keigo gulped and shook his head. He didn't wanna repeat it last time he didn't want any more innocent people dying. Maybe he wasn't supposed to have a normal life anymore. Isane didn't understand why Arrancar wasn't after her. Keigo was just a normal human. She then had to set an epiphany realizing that while all this intense, spiritual pressure was happening around her none of it was affecting Keigo. It didn't make any sense, even if you had a little bit of spiritual energy, anything living should've felt that or be rendered unconscious by it.
"Okay, screw secret identity, I'm fighting back!" Keigo thought.
Keigo gulped and got into a fighting stance. "Yeah, that's me! So you came here to pick a fight! I'm not going to let you Arrancar take any more innocent lives!"
Grimmjow smirked and couldn't help but flare out his spiritual pressure again. Isane had been brought to her knees but Keigo was still standing.
"It doesn't affect you at all, seems pretty useful," Grimmjow noted.
Keigo didn't respond and gripped his hands. Glancing at Isane who was trying to get up. "Isane, get out of here! This guy is my, you take cover and I don't want to see you anywhere near me. This could get messy. Also, I'll explain what happened later."
"What?" Isane asked.
"I'm going ghost!" Keigo shouted, two rings of light appeared and shrouded his body. Transforming him into his ghost form. Standing in his black jumpsuit, with snowy white hair and glowing green eyes. A ghost had finally appeared in front of Isane. Grimmjow couldn't have a wild smile. Isane jaw drops at the site of Keigo. She was warned of ghosts, yet seeing one in person. Isane felt goosebumps, even though she had seen every wicked form of a hollow. Seeing a ghost was bizarre, it was dead but also alive.
"I have to warn the others of a ghost!" Isane thought in a panic.
"Isane, I said get out of here!" Keigo shouted. Not in his usual back and cry, but in a serious tone. Isane got up and slowly backed away. Keigo brought his attention to Grimmjow, his attention went to Isane, and let out a big sigh, acting as if he was disappointed.
"Such a disappointment caring for weaklings, Lord Aizen wants to meet you, so I won't kill you, but at the same time. I'm at least gonna have some fun and beat you down,"
Keigo smirked, his hand gripped with anger, his eyes illuminated with that bright cosmic green. "Then take your best-"
Keigo was cut off as Grimmjow appeared in front of him and readied a kick. Aimed for Keigo's head, in a split second Keigo bent his back backwards so far. That would have made champion limbo players envious.
Grimmjow smirked seeing how quick Keigo was to react. "That's right even Ulquiorra said you were pretty good with reaction. Let's see how you handle this!"
He threw a punch down Keigo who flew out of the punch and into the sky. Keigo looked down to see Grimmjow wasn't there. Only for the Arrancar to be right behind. Keigo turns around only for his face to be grabbed in a strong grip. Grimmjow fell to the floor making sure Keigo would receive the plant force down. Before his head could hit the floor, Keigo turned into self intangible. Phasing through the stone floor and flying through the floor. Landing back on his feet, as his body became solid.
Keigo watched as Grimmjow leaped at him again. This time the Arrancar had a punch aimed at his chest. Keigo stepped to his side and threw a counterpunch at Grimmjow. Keigo's fist had struck Grimmjow's head.
Grimmjow was taken aback, seeing that this person had no spiritual energy whatsoever, but the punch hurt like hell. Even sending him into the wall and crashing through it.
Keigo stood his ground taking a deep breath, feeling his fist shake with rage. He paused, glancing at his fist and seeing green sparks dance across his fingers. He didn't hurt or feel like an outside force was doing this, Keigo could feel these sparks as a product from him.
"What the hell is this?" Keigo thought. It had made no sense, was this another power from his ghost half? Keigo put away these thoughts knowing he was still in a fight. Looking up he could see Grimmjow's fist coming right at him.
Keigo thought he would be able to do it in time however it was too late. The first had collided with his front face, and the rush of pain that went through him was a good feeling, his feet being lifted off the ground and into the other wall. Keigo's body impact had made a large indent. Looking up Keigo could see Grimmjow standing and smugly glaring at him
"Not bad. Not bad at all. I think you can make for some good sport, granted I wanted to snuff out that Ichigo guy but you'll be a close second," Grimmjow clicked his teeth. He slowly drew his sword, the reflection flashed in Keigo's eyes. Telling an omen of violence was made. Keigo got back to his feet and could feel a liquid coming out of his nose. Wiping it away only to realize it was his green blood.
"Hey, at least you're not gonna be bored. Just don't go crying to Mama when I kick your butt," Keigo called out. Grimmjow's lips showed a wild smile. He was a maniac who found his animal to butcher.
"Let's see how my prey is captured tonight!" Grimmjow shouted. Before he could leap at Keigo. A strong cold hand gripped his shoulder. A strong metallic voice called out.
"Care to repeat that you son of a bitch!"
Grimmjow turned around only to be sucker-punched so hard that he went through a house. Putting a hole right next to Keigo.
Keigo was stunned as stated by the individual who just did a sneak attack on Grimmjow. It was a ghost by his eyes, but a very unique one he had yet to encounter. He looked more like a robot than a human. Letting out a sigh of relief Keigo was happy to have some backup.
"Thanks for the help man! That guy was a handful, you saved my tail," Keigo said in solace. The mechanical ghost grinned and held up his arm and from his forearm sprouted a silver cylinder, with a glowing light blue light appearing at the end of it. Keigo gulped knowing what that was.
"I wouldn't say saved, you just have somebody else hunting you!" Skulker said with a grin.
"Oh, carp!" Keigo said.
"Hello ghost child, my name is Skulker, Ghost World's greatest predator. A collector of rare and unique and you Ghost Child are just that," Skulker said. Keigo gulped and flew up in the sky. Skulker chased him. Isane watched this entire event play out and was awestruck.
She wanted to follow them until the sound of rubble gained her attention. Seeing Grimmjow was standing up brushing himself off with a pissed-off expression. His eyes were shining with bloodlust and rage. There was a gash above Grimmjow's head as blood leaked from the right side of his face.
"WHERE ARE THEY!" Grimmjow shouted only to look up to see Keigo being chased by Skulker. Grimmjow narrowed his eyes.
"I'm going to get you idiots!" Grimmjow said, launching himself from the ground. Isane fell on her butt watching the sky, not sure how to react. However, she now understands her job is gonna be a lot harder.
Keigo weaved around the energy blast that kept trying to pin him. Skulker had a stern face focused on the task at hand.
"Hey, why don't we talk this out, man!" Keigo shouted from behind. He ducked his head as another beam of blue energy shot near him.
"No, I will not be sawed by your words, I am here to hunt you!" Skulker shouted. Keigo gulped and decided to fly faster, his bottom half turning into a wisp. He was begging to make some distance from his pursuer.
"Well try to catch me now!" Keigo shouted. Skulker smirked and from his back, two metal wings shot out with rocket rocket thrusters at the end of them. He blasted off catching up with Keigo very quickly.
"Oh come on!" Keigo shouted. "This guy is like the Terminator on steroids!"
As if this situation couldn't possibly get worse. Keigo quickly dodged a Cero that almost hit him. Looking behind Skulker seeing Grimmjow flying right behind Skulker's tail.
"You get back here!" Grimmjow yelled. Skulker growled in annoyance. He pushed a button on his wrist, and from his back sprouted Missiles all of them launched behind aiming for Grimmjow.
They flew at the Arrancar, Grimmjow was unimpressed with the attack, thinking it was nothing. The missiles that flew past Grimmjow quickly turned around and began to chase the Arrancar.
Grimmjow looked behind his shoulder, the missiles were already approaching him from behind. Trying to shake them off Grimmjow had an unimpressed look. He stopped and would last all of the missiles with a swift cero. Not a single one was able to touch him, as he moved between the explosive objects.
Standing in smoke hastily he turned around to see that he was far behind in the chase. "Dammit stop ignoring me!"
Grimmjow had flashed steps to make up for the lost distance. Skulker watched as Grimmjow was not giving up.
"Enough, stay outta my way. This hunt is mine!" Skulker yelled. Grimmjow flashed a step and began to fly near Skulker.
"Fat chance! I'm not going to let a pile of scrap metal take away my fun!" Grimmjow yelled back with a heated tone of voice
"Those are rookie words, you amateur hunter!" Skulker said, pointing his Ecto blaster at Grimmjow, firing at the ghost. Grimmjow quickly dodged the beam of light and appeared in front of the mechanical ghost. Grabbing him by his thick metal neck. He was trying to crush it. Skulker growled in irritation, he pulled his fist back and smacked Grimmjow in the face hard.
Grimmjow had to let go, as that punch did its damage. He stepped back holding his nose but the pain he felt was quickly replaced with excitement. Grimmjow could feel his blood pumping. He was in real danger this time. His spiritual pressure meant nothing in this fight and he was ecstatic about it.
"Let's do this!" He yelled. Skulker gripped his metal fist there was something about this opponent that made him angry. Those eyes that stared at him reminded him of a tiger. The same type of beast that tore him into shreds when he was alive. Skulker's wrist slowly extended two glowing green blades for gouging and disemboweling trophies.
"Fine, either way, I came here for a pelt! Be it his or yours!" Skulker yelled as the two charged each other.
Keigo was in a panic, he could take on the Arrancar but throwing a ghost on top of it, was another story. He needed help, looking down to find his answer.
Even from the hate that he flew out, you could still recognize his friend Ichigo down below. Orange hair was always a dead giveaway. He flew right towards them.
"Ichigo, I need some help! I wished I could help Yankii but I don't know where he is!"
Ichigo who is currently being held down by Rukia Gigi. This one name was Chappy, and someone would call it psychotic."Yee-ow!"
"If you won't be still on your own, I'll make you Hop!" Chappy cheers.
"Stop saying hop. I can't be still you're hurting me. Let me go!" Ichigo cried out. "Ow! You're gonna break my arm, I'll kick your little butt."
Chappy eyes went into a deep blank. "No, you won't. I'll kill you before you can kill me. Hop!"
"Wait, you're just supposed to hold me down!" Ichigo said in a panic.
Crying out was Ichigo whose arm was being twisted. This was his attempt to get away from the mod soul because of Rukia. She had personally asked the mod soul to keep Ichigo out of the battle. The Arrancar she had faced off with was no problem whatsoever. Rukia glared at the two, holding her Zanpakuto.
"Arm wrench, Hop!" Chappy sang. Ichigo could only respond with a very painful moan. Rukia looked unamused at the two.
"What are you fools doing?" Rukia asked. Ichigo couldn't help but be surprised to see her Zanpakuto. Also not knowing what happened to the Arrancar she was fighting.
"Rukia! Are you crazy!" Ichigo asked. "What happened to that guy, did you get him?"
Rukia smoothly looked away. " Of course. I'm here, aren't I?"
Ichigo looked at the sword in her hand and marveled at it. "Hey… that Zanpakuto-
Ichigo couldn't finish his sentence as Chappy answered his question. "That's Sode No Shirayuki. Lady Rukia's ice and snow-type Zanpakuto. It's currently the most beautiful Zanpakuto in Soul Society. Its blade, its guard, and its hilt are completely white… Hop!"
Ichigo cringed in annoyance. "Way to ruin the mood."
Rukia ignores the two as they continue talking. She looked up in the sky and could feel a strong spiritual pressure coming towards them, but she noticed the two green lights that were approaching her incredibly fast. She wondered if perhaps they were just airplane lights technology in the world of the living was always incredible.
She continued to look at them until light was becoming ever so brilliant. Ichigo and Chappy even stopped their bickering as they looked up at the sky as well.
Ichigo immediately recognized the color of green. Its bright light eventually was close enough that it had stopped becoming blinding and revealed to who was emanating it. Ichigo gawked as Keigo landed on the ground and looked at Ichigo in panic.
"ICHIGO~! I NEED HELP!" Keigo cried out. Ichigo was speechless but Rukia was also stunned.
"Keigo!" She asked with total shock. Keigo glanced to his right seeing a familiar face. "Oh, what's up Rukia, long time no see."
Keigo's happy optimism slowly turned into confusion as he saw another Rukia holding Ichigo down. "Uh also hey other Rukia… Okay. I'm a little confused."
Rukia held her blade, she didn't know who or what Keigo was but it felt unnatural. Ichigo swiftly broke out of Chappy's grip and looked concerned at his friend.
"Keigo, what are you doing here? I thought you were told to stay low!" Ichigo yelled. Keigo let out an awkward chuckle as he scratched the back of his head.
"Well, about that, listen. One of those crazy arrangers is trying to kill me and if that's not bad. I also have a killer ghost trying to hunt me! I need some help!" Keigo panicked. Rukia responded by holding up her sword.
"Silence you by order of the society, you are required to be trailed and brought back to their," Rukia said. Keigo was unfazed and just looked back at Ichigo.
"Listen, man, we gotta get ready before they find us!" Keigo yelled.
"Don't just ignore me!" Rukia shouted. Ichigo was going to try and explain everything to Rukia when suddenly a loud crash slammed into the street a couple of feet ahead of them. All three of them had to cover their eyes from the kicked-up dust. Keigo felt his ghost act up as if he had been found. While Rukia and Ichigo could feel the intense spiritual pressure.
The dust had settled and fighting amongst the rubble was Skulker and Grimmjow both in a gridlock.
Gimmjow was trying to stop Skulker from stabbing him while also trying to grip his head. However, skulker had a good vantage point. I was trying to stab Grimmjow while avoiding his grip.
"Why won't you die, you old bastard!" Grimmjow yelled.
"Shut you punk, I won't have you ruining my hunt again!" Skulker gritted through his teeth.
Keigo, Rukia, and Ichigo could only watch, not sure what to do next.
"Maybe if we walk away quietly, they won't notice us!" Keigo tried to speak quietly. Unfortunately, the two noticed that they were being watched. Skulker pushed Grimmjow away as the two glared at each other.
"Enough of this! There's enough prey to go around for everyone, and we are acting like fools!" Skulker said with an honest tone of voice.
"So what you just want to call it peace and forget this happened no way, old man!" Grimmjow barked. Skulker smirked and pointed his thumb to the three over to his right.
"Of course not, let's just get the people that we want, and then after we settle this little score we have, or are you too afraid to fight the ghost," Skulker said the last of his sentence with a sarcastic tone. Grimmjow just scoffed and put his hands in his pocket looking for the three only to see a familiar face that he wanted to smash in.
"Well, maybe a little truce is in order," Grimmjow said, staring at Ichigo.
"Yes, perhaps instead of making ourselves look like idiots. We hunt the intended quarry that was meant for us." Skulker said. Ichigo raised his blade at Grimmjow. While Keigo could see, Skulker was glaring at him.
"Aw crap!" Keigo cried out.
