Chapter Five: The Seeds of Rivalry

It was another typical morning at the university. The parking lot was bustling with students arriving for their classes, chatting and laughing as they prepared for the day ahead. Among the crowd, Saruyo Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki made their entrance in their usual understated yet captivating manner.

The sleek black car came to a smooth stop, and as the doors opened, all eyes seemed to instinctively turn toward them. Saruyo stepped out first, her aura commanding attention without her even trying. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back, and her sharp, icy eyes scanned her surroundings with her usual composed indifference. Naruto followed, his boyish charm and bright smile contrasting beautifully with Saruyo's cool demeanor.

Together, they were an unusual but magnetic pair. While Saruyo exuded elegance and power, Naruto's warm and approachable energy made them the perfect balance.

They walked side by side, Saruyo's heels clicking against the pavement with every step. As they approached the entrance of the building, Saruyo suddenly stopped, a faint furrow in her brow.

"I just remembered," she said, her voice calm but slightly annoyed, "I forgot to buy something I need."

Naruto looked at her with concern. "Do you want me to go get it for you, Saruyo-sama?"

She shook her head, a faint smirk playing on her lips. "No, I'll handle it. You stay here and wait for me. Don't wander off."

Naruto nodded obediently. "Got it. I'll wait right here."

With that, Saruyo turned on her heel and walked away, her commanding presence leaving a trail of whispers in her wake. Naruto stood near the entrance, shuffling his feet awkwardly as he waited.

Unbeknownst to him, someone else had been watching from a distance. Ino Yamanaka, dressed in her usual chic but slightly provocative attire, leaned casually against a nearby wall. Her sharp blue eyes had been fixed on Naruto ever since he stepped out of the car. A sly smile curved her lips as she whispered to herself, "This is my chance."

Ino adjusted her books in her arms and began walking toward Naruto, her hips swaying subtly with each step. As she approached, she deliberately timed her movements so that she "accidentally" bumped into him, her books falling dramatically to the ground.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry!" Ino exclaimed, her voice dripping with fake sincerity.

Naruto, startled, immediately crouched down to help her. "It's okay, no problem at all," he said, his tone kind and earnest.

As they both reached for the fallen books, their hands brushed briefly. Naruto's cheeks turned a light shade of pink, and he quickly averted his gaze. Meanwhile, Ino pretended not to notice his embarrassment, though inwardly, she was smirking.

Ino crouched as well, intentionally leaning forward so that her ample curves were on full display. She made no effort to hide the view she was offering, and Naruto, being the shy and respectful person he was, tried his best to look away, his face now a deeper shade of red.

Ino chuckled internally. Perfect. He's so innocent. Any other guy would've pounced on me by now.

As they continued picking up the books, Ino "accidentally" let her hand brush against his again. "Oops! Sorry about that," she said with a coy smile.

"It's fine," Naruto replied, his voice slightly higher-pitched than usual from the awkwardness.

But the brief touch sent a jolt through Ino, one she hadn't expected. Her heart raced, and she could feel a heat rising within her. She tried to shake off the feeling, but the effect Naruto had on her was undeniable. Why does just touching him make me feel this way?

When all the books were finally gathered, Naruto handed them to her, his shy smile as genuine as ever. "Here you go," he said.

"Thank you so much, Naruto," Ino replied, emphasizing his name.

Naruto blinked in surprise. "How do you know my name?"

Ino laughed softly, brushing a strand of blonde hair behind her ear. "Who doesn't know you? You're the guy who solved that impossible math problem in front of the entire lecture hall. Everyone was talking about it!"

Naruto scratched the back of his head, clearly embarrassed. "Oh, that… It wasn't a big deal, really."

Ino tilted her head, her smile playful. "Don't be so modest. It's impressive."

Naruto smiled awkwardly, unsure of how to respond. "Well… thank you."

Ino took a small step closer, her voice dropping slightly as she said, "By the way, I'm Ino Yamanaka."

Naruto's eyes lit up. "Ino? That's a beautiful name."

For a moment, Ino froze. Her heart skipped a beat, and her usual confidence wavered. No one had ever complimented her name like that before—not genuinely, at least. She felt her cheeks warm as a blush spread across her face.

"Th-thank you, Naruto," she stammered, her usual flirtatious demeanor replaced with genuine shyness.

Naruto nodded, still smiling. "It was nice meeting you, Ino."

Ino stepped back, her heart pounding. "You too, Naruto. Maybe we'll run into each other again sometime." With that, she turned and walked away, her mind racing.

As she got farther from him, Ino placed a hand over her chest, feeling her heartbeat thunder against her ribs. Why is my heart beating so fast? she wondered. She clenched her fist, her thoughts swirling. If he were single… if he weren't with Saruyo… I'd take him to my bed in a second. But he's not. He's hers. Saruyo Uchiha.

The thought of Saruyo made Ino's confidence falter even further. Saruyo wasn't just any girl—she was the most untouchable, powerful, and beautiful girl on campus. No one dared cross her, and yet…

"I'll find a way," Ino whispered to herself, determination flashing in her eyes. "I'll find a way to make him mine."

Meanwhile, Naruto let out a small sigh of relief as Ino disappeared into the crowd. He hadn't noticed her intentions at all, too caught up in his own nervousness to realize how deliberate her actions had been.

###

The sound of approaching heels echoed through the bustling corridors of the university. Saruyo Uchiha's presence, as always, commanded respect and attention, her dark, piercing eyes scanning the area as she returned from the campus shop. She had left Naruto Uzumaki waiting for her, a small errand she hadn't expected to take so long.

As she rounded the corner, she spotted him standing awkwardly near the entrance, his golden hair shining under the soft light of the day. A faint smile graced her lips at the sight of him. There was something endearing about how Naruto seemed so out of place in these social settings, his innocence and sincerity standing in stark contrast to the manipulative, competitive atmosphere of the university.

But as she approached him, something caught her attention—a faint yet unmistakable scent. It wasn't her perfume, the subtle, expensive fragrance she always wore. No, this was different—sweet, floral, and distinctly feminine. Her sharp senses picked up on it immediately, and her calm demeanor faltered ever so slightly.

Saruyo stopped just short of him, her icy gaze narrowing slightly as she took his hand. "Naruto," she began, her voice soft but with an edge that made him stand up straighter.

"Yes, Saruyo-sama?" he replied, his tone slightly nervous.

She leaned closer, her crimson lips curving into a subtle smile. "I have a question for you," she said, her voice as calm as a still lake.

Naruto blinked, a slight flush creeping up his cheeks. "What is it?"

Saruyo tilted her head, her dark hair falling gracefully over her shoulder. "Did you… kiss a girl?"

Naruto's face turned bright red, and he waved his hands frantically. "W-What?! No, no! I didn't kiss anyone, Saruyo-sama!"

She chuckled softly at his panicked response, but her piercing gaze didn't waver. "Then why," she said, brushing a strand of hair away from his face, "do you smell like another woman's perfume?"

Naruto's blush deepened, and he looked away. "Oh, that… um…"

"Well?" she prompted, her voice calm but laced with a dangerous undertone.

Naruto swallowed hard and finally answered, "Yes… I mean, kind of? There was this girl… She, um, bumped into me and dropped her books, so I helped her pick them up."

Saruyo raised an eyebrow, her expression unreadable. "And?"

"And… I think her perfume must have, um, rubbed off on me," he admitted, scratching the back of his head awkwardly.

Saruyo stared at him for a moment, her sharp mind dissecting every detail of his explanation. She knew Naruto wasn't lying—he was too honest, too naive to fabricate such a story. But that didn't stop the flicker of jealousy that ignited within her.

"I see," she said, her voice carefully controlled. "Tell me more. What else happened?"

Naruto hesitated, his cheeks still flushed. "Well… she kind of… touched my hand by accident when we were picking up her books."

Saruyo's expression darkened, though she kept her tone light. "Touched your hand, hmm? And was it really an accident, or did it feel… deliberate?"

Naruto's eyes widened. "I-I don't know! I think it was an accident. She said sorry."

Saruyo's mind raced. She was a woman, after all, and she knew how subtle yet calculated some girls could be when trying to attract attention. She couldn't help but wonder if this mysterious girl had ulterior motives.

"Did she… bend down in front of you?" Saruyo asked, her voice laced with a hint of sarcasm.

Naruto nodded hesitantly. "Y-Yeah, but I looked away!" he added quickly, his voice rising in defense. "I didn't stare or anything, I promise!"

Saruyo smirked despite herself. His innocence was both endearing and frustrating. "And did she introduce herself?"

"Yes," Naruto replied, his blush returning. "Her name is Ino Yamanaka."

The moment the name left his lips, Saruyo's eyes widened ever so slightly. She recognized the name immediately. Ino Yamanaka—she was no stranger to Saruyo. The blonde was known around campus, and not just for her beauty. Ino had a reputation for being bold, confident, and more than a little flirtatious.

Saruyo's mind flashed back to an incident some time ago. Ino's best friend, Sakura Haruno, had once challenged Saruyo to a duel, a foolish attempt to prove herself. Saruyo had effortlessly defeated her, leaving no doubt about who was superior. Now, it seemed, Ino was testing her patience as well.

"So," Saruyo said, her voice cold but controlled, "Ino Yamanaka, huh?"

Naruto nodded. "Yeah… do you know her?"

Saruyo's lips curled into a sly smile. "You could say that."

She reached out and cupped his face, her crimson eyes locking onto his. "Naruto," she said softly, "you're too kind for your own good. You're… easily misunderstood."

Naruto tilted his head. "What do you mean?"

Saruyo leaned in and kissed him lightly on the lips, a gesture that was both possessive and reassuring. When she pulled back, she smiled faintly. "Never mind. Let's go inside."

As they walked toward the entrance, Saruyo's mind was anything but calm. She replayed every detail of Naruto's story, her sharp intellect piecing together Ino's intentions.

*So it's begun,* she thought to herself, remembering Kushina's words: "Naruto is too sweet and charming for his own good. He'll attract attention, whether he wants to or not."

Saruyo clenched her fist, her icy exterior betraying none of the storm brewing within. *Ino Yamanaka… I'll remember that name.*

She glanced at Naruto, who was obliviously walking beside her, his bright smile lighting up the space around them. Her heart softened slightly. None of this was his fault—he was too innocent, too pure. If anything, he needed her protection now more than ever.

As they entered the building, Saruyo made a silent vow. *No one will take him from me. Not Ino Yamanaka. Not anyone.*

###

The grand lecture hall was alive with murmurs as students shuffled to their seats, preparing for the upcoming lecture. Ino Yamanaka sat near the middle, her sharp blue eyes scanning the crowd. Her mind was elsewhere, lost in thoughts of the golden-haired boy who had unknowingly stolen her attention earlier that day.

*If only I had noticed him sooner,* she thought, her perfectly manicured nails tapping against the desk. *If only I had reached him first…*

A wistful sigh escaped her lips as she leaned back in her chair. "Naruto…" she murmured under her breath, a small smile curling her lips.

But the smile didn't last long. Her gaze shifted toward the entrance, and there they were—Naruto and Saruyo Uchiha. The sight hit her like a slap to the face. Saruyo's hand was firmly clasped around Naruto's, her elegant yet commanding presence impossible to ignore.

Ino's jaw tightened as she watched them. Saruyo wasn't just beautiful—she was *perfect.* Her flawless complexion, her piercing eyes, the way she carried herself with an air of unshakable confidence—it was no wonder Naruto was drawn to her. She was a force to be reckoned with, the kind of woman who could command a room with just a glance.

"This is exactly what I'm missing," Ino muttered bitterly to herself. Her eyes darted back to Naruto. Even as Saruyo led him to their seats, he looked shy and slightly flustered, his hand awkwardly enveloped in hers.

Ino's frustration grew. *She has everything—beauty, charisma, power. And she has him. Of course she does.*

She gritted her teeth, her mind flashing back to her own missteps. *If only I hadn't wasted my time with those sleazy jerks,* she thought, anger bubbling in her chest. Her past relationships had been a string of disappointments—boys who only wanted one thing, who used her and left her feeling hollow. And now, here she was, watching Saruyo claim what she could only dream of having.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her eyes drifted back to Naruto. There was something about him—something different. He wasn't like the others. He wasn't the type to exploit or manipulate. He was kind, genuine, and unassuming, and that unpolished charm made her heart race in ways she wasn't prepared for.

But that feeling came with a price. As she stared at him, an unwelcome heat began to pool in her body, a reaction she couldn't control. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat, biting her lip to suppress a frustrated groan. "Not now," she whispered to herself, willing the sensation to go away.

Meanwhile, Saruyo and Naruto had taken their seats near the front of the hall. Saruyo, as always, positioned herself close to him, her body practically glued to his side. Her long, silky hair cascaded over her shoulder as she leaned in, her lips brushing his ear.

"Are you comfortable, Naruto?" she asked, her voice low and teasing.

Naruto turned bright red, his eyes darting around nervously. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine, Saruyo-sama."

She smirked, pleased by his reaction. Her crimson eyes flicked to the crowd, her sharp gaze scanning the room. She knew they were being watched—by *her.*

*Ino Yamanaka,* Saruyo thought, her lips curving into a sly smile. She could feel the blonde's gaze burning into them from somewhere behind. Saruyo had known girls like Ino before—bold, ambitious, and utterly predictable. She wasn't worried. If anything, she was amused.

Saruyo leaned closer to Naruto, her hand resting lightly on his knee. "Naruto," she said, her tone soft but commanding, "I want you to put your hand on my leg."

Naruto's eyes widened in shock, and his face turned a deep shade of crimson. "W-What?! I-I can't do that, Saruyo-sama!"

She chuckled, finding his embarrassment adorable. "There's no need to be shy," she said, taking his hand in hers. "No one's watching."

That wasn't entirely true, of course. Saruyo *wanted* Ino to see. She wanted her to know exactly who Naruto belonged to.

Before he could protest further, Saruyo guided his hand onto her thigh, pressing it against the soft, warm fabric of her skirt. Naruto froze, his mind racing as he tried to process what was happening.

"S-Saruyo-sama…" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

She leaned in, her lips brushing his ear once more. "Relax," she whispered, her tone equal parts soothing and seductive. "It's just us."

Ino, seated a few rows behind, clenched her fists as she watched the scene unfold. Her nails dug into her palms, her teeth grinding together in frustration. Saruyo was making a show of it—there was no doubt in her mind.

*She knows I'm watching,* Ino thought bitterly. *That arrogant witch.*

Her gaze shifted to Naruto, who looked completely flustered, his cheeks red and his movements stiff. Despite her anger, Ino couldn't help but feel a pang of desire. He was so innocent, so pure—it only made her want him more.

Her thoughts took a darker turn as jealousy consumed her. *If I were in her place, I wouldn't stop at holding hands,* she thought, her mind racing. *I'd give him everything—every part of me. Even the things I've never done before.*

A wicked smirk played on her lips as her imagination ran wild. *He wouldn't just touch my thighs… I'd let him touch everything. I'd make him forget all about her.*

But as the lecture began and Saruyo leaned even closer to Naruto, planting a kiss on his flushed cheek, Ino's resolve hardened.

*You think you've won, Saruyo Uchiha?* she thought, her blue eyes narrowing with determination. *We'll see about that.*

She rose from her seat, her heart pounding with a mix of anger and anticipation. As she left the lecture hall, she made a silent vow.

*This isn't over. I'll find a way. And when I do, Naruto will be mine.*

The bustling campus buzzed with life as students poured out of their lecture halls, the sun dipping low on the horizon. Among them were Sakura Haruno and her boyfriend, Sai, strolling hand in hand through the crowded pathways. Sakura's eyes scanned the happy couples around them, a smile tugging at her lips.

"It seems like everyone here has someone these days," Sakura remarked, her tone light and teasing.

Sai glanced around, his expression as calm and neutral as ever. "Yes, it does," he replied simply.

Sakura laughed softly, giving his hand a small squeeze. But her laughter faded when she spotted a familiar figure storming out of a nearby building. Ino Yamanaka moved with purpose, her steps quick and aggressive, her fists clenched at her sides. There was a fire in her eyes, an intensity Sakura hadn't seen before.

Sakura's brows furrowed as she watched her best friend march past, oblivious to her surroundings. "What on earth is wrong with her?" she murmured.

Sai, ever observant, followed her gaze. "She looks furious," he noted, his tone matter-of-fact. "Have you ever seen her this angry before?"

Sakura shook her head, her pink hair swaying with the motion. "No, not like this. Not even when one of her relationships ends badly." Her voice lowered as she added, "This feels... different. It's not just anger—it's jealousy, hatred, and something else I can't quite place."

Sai tilted his head thoughtfully. "It's love," he said after a moment.

Sakura blinked, turning to him in surprise. "Love? You think so?"

He nodded. "Not the kind she's used to. This is different—stronger. More real. And judging by the way she's acting, I'd say it's eating her alive."

Sakura frowned, her concern deepening. She glanced back at Ino, who was already disappearing into the crowd, her blonde hair shimmering under the evening light. "If this is love, then why does it look so ugly on her?"

Sai shrugged. "Because it's unfulfilled. She wants something she can't have, and it's driving her to the edge."

Before Sakura could respond, her attention was drawn to another familiar pair. Saruyo Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki emerged from the same lecture hall, their hands intertwined. Saruyo's dark hair flowed elegantly behind her, and her lips were curved into a satisfied smile. Naruto, on the other hand, looked as shy and flustered as ever, his face tinged with pink as Saruyo leaned close to whisper something in his ear.

Sai sighed quietly. "Since Naruto started dating Saruyo, I barely see him anymore," he said, his tone neutral but carrying a hint of longing.

Sakura chuckled, though there was a touch of sadness in her voice. "She's completely taken over his life. He used to hang out with us all the time, but now…" She trailed off, her green eyes following the couple as they walked past.

"Do you think Ino will do something about it?" Sai asked suddenly.

Sakura hesitated, biting her lip as she considered the question. "I don't know," she admitted. "But I wouldn't put it past her. She's stubborn, and when she wants something, she doesn't stop until she gets it."

Sai's expression darkened slightly as he processed this. "If she's as desperate as she looks, she might do something drastic. She could try to seduce him, maybe even…" He paused, his voice dropping. "…force him."

Sakura's cheeks flushed at the implication, and she quickly waved her hands in protest. "D-Don't say things like that, Sai! She wouldn't—she couldn't…" But her voice faltered, and doubt crept into her mind.

Sai shrugged again. "You said it yourself—she's crazy about him. Crazy enough to do anything."

Meanwhile, Saruyo led Naruto through the campus, her fingers laced tightly with his. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, her lips curling into a mischievous smile.

"Get ready, Naruto," she said, her voice smooth and teasing. "I have something special planned for tonight."

Naruto blinked, his face already turning red. "S-Something special? What do you mean?"

Saruyo stopped walking and turned to face him, her crimson eyes locking onto his. She leaned in close, her breath warm against his ear. "I'm going to let you touch me," she whispered, her tone low and sultry.

Naruto's eyes widened, and his face burned with embarrassment. "W-What?!" he stammered, his voice cracking.

Saruyo smirked, enjoying his reaction. "You heard me. Tonight, you're going to touch my chest. But just a little—don't get too excited."

Naruto's heart raced as he tried to process her words. "I-I don't know if I can… I mean, are you sure?"

Saruyo chuckled softly, her hand moving to gently cup his cheek. "Of course I'm sure. This is just the beginning, Naruto. We'll take it slow. One step at a time."

She straightened up, her confident demeanor returning. "But first, we have training to do. Come on."

Unbeknownst to them, Ino stood nearby, hidden behind a corner. She had overheard everything—Saruyo's whisper, Naruto's flustered response, and the promise that hung in the air between them. Her fists clenched, and her nails dug into her palms as rage bubbled inside her.

"That's ridiculous," she hissed under her breath. "If I were in her place…" She paused, her thoughts turning dark. A wicked grin spread across her lips as she imagined the possibilities.

*If he were mine, I wouldn't stop at letting him touch me. I'd give him everything—everything I have. Even the things I've never given anyone before.*

Her face flushed as her mind wandered further. *I'd let him do whatever he wanted. Even if it meant…* She shook her head, trying to focus.

Her jealousy burned hotter as she watched Saruyo and Naruto walk away, hand in hand. "Saruyo Uchiha," she muttered through gritted teeth, "you think you've won? We'll see about that."

Ino turned on her heel and stormed off, her mind racing with schemes and plans. She wasn't about to give up—not when her heart was screaming for him.

*I'll make him mine,* she vowed silently. *No matter what it takes.*

Saruyu stood in the middle, her cold, piercing gaze fixed on Naruto, who was bent over, panting and drenched in sweat. Despite his exhaustion, his determination shone through his blue eyes. Saruyu, always calm and in control, folded her arms across her chest, her voice cutting through the silence like frost.

"Again," she ordered, her voice sharp and devoid of sympathy.

Naruto, catching his breath, straightened up and gave a firm nod. "Right!"

He crouched down, grabbing the weighted bars at his sides. Each one bore two endurance weights, and every lift tested his limits. With a grunt of effort, he hoisted the weights up, his arms trembling but steady. Saruyo watched silently, her expression unreadable, her posture regal and unyielding. Despite her cold demeanor, there was a flicker of approval in her dark eyes.

When Naruto finally completed the set, he dropped the weights with a heavy thud and collapsed onto the grass, gasping for air. He looked up at Saruyo, who had moved to stand over him, her long, dark hair framing her sharp features.

"You're improving," she stated flatly, though her words carried a faint undertone of praise. "But you're still far from ready." She tapped one of the weights with her foot. "You're only carrying two endurance kilos."

Naruto's face flushed at her frank remark. "Yes, but I'm trying my best," he stammered, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "It's... it's just... you're carrying... thirty kilograms, Saruyu-san."

Saruyo's lips curved into a rare, faint smile—not warm, but chillingly beautiful. "Yes, I am. But nothing is impossible. Keep this up, and soon, you might be able to keep up with me."

Naruto's face turned crimson, and he quickly looked away. "I-I'll try my best," he mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper.

Saruyo's sharp gaze softened slightly as she crouched down to meet his eyes. "You'll get there, Naruto. If nothing else, you don't give up. That much I can respect." She straightened and added coldly, "Now get up. We're done here."

After the session, they made their way to Saruyo's car. She had insisted on driving today, and Naruto couldn't help but feel his face heat up as he watched her slip into the driver's seat. Her outfit—a sleek, fitted jacket and jeans that accentuated her athletic figure—made his heart race. Saruyo's natural beauty had always been striking, but there was something about the casual confidence with which she carried herself that left Naruto flustered.

As he buckled his seatbelt, he sneaked a glance at her. Her cold demeanor only seemed to amplify her allure, making her seem untouchable, like a queen perched on an icy throne. "S-Saruyo-san," he began hesitantly, his voice trembling slightly.

She raised an eyebrow, her eyes briefly flicking toward him before returning to the road. "What is it, Naruto?"

He hesitated, his fingers nervously fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. "I… I wanted to ask you something."

"Ask," she replied curtly, her tone making it clear she had no patience for hesitation.

Naruto swallowed hard. "Why… why are you so strong? I mean… why do you need to be so strong?" He quickly added, "I'm not saying you shouldn't be! It's just that… usually guys are the ones who try to get stronger, and… and girls don't need to…"

Saruyo's grip on the steering wheel tightened, and for a moment, the air in the car grew colder. She glanced at him, her expression unreadable but her eyes sharp. "You're right. Most girls don't need to be strong. But I… I do."

"Why?" Naruto asked softly, his curiosity overtaking his nervousness.

Saruyo's lips curled into a bitter smile. "Because I need to protect myself."

"Protect yourself? From what?" he pressed gently.

Her voice dropped, becoming colder and sharper. "From the world. From people who think they can take advantage of someone like me."

Naruto's expression softened with concern. "Saruyo-san…"

She exhaled deeply, her icy facade cracking just enough to reveal a glimpse of vulnerability. "As you can see, I'm beautiful. And that's dangerous. I've had twenty men end up in the hospital because they underestimated me. They thought they could help themselves to someone who had no parents, no siblings… no one to protect her. If I weren't strong, Naruto, someone would've…" She trailed off, her voice steady but heavy with unspoken pain. "Someone would've hurt me. Or worse."

Naruto's heart ached at her words. He opened his mouth to say something, but she cut him off with a faint, almost teasing smile. "Don't look at me like that. I don't need your pity. Especially not now." She leaned over and, to his utter shock, pressed a soft kiss to his lips. It was brief but enough to turn his face bright red.

"You're here now," she said simply, her voice regaining its icy composure. "And that's enough."

Naruto couldn't find the words to respond, his mind racing and his cheeks burning. Saruyo smirked at his reaction and returned her attention to the road. "Hold on," she said. "I'm taking a shortcut."

Meanwhile, across town, Ino lay sprawled on her bed, her chest heaving as she gasped for breath. Her golden hair clung to her damp forehead, and a satisfied smile spread across her lips. "Naruto…" she murmured breathlessly, her cheeks flushed. "You're driving me crazy." She chuckled softly to herself, her voice filled with longing. "What are you doing to me?"

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. "Ino? Are you okay in there?" her mother's voice called out.

Ino quickly sat up, her heart racing. "I'm fine, Mom! Just… tired."

"Alright," her mother replied, her footsteps retreating down the hall.

Ino let out a sigh of relief and leaned back against her pillow, her smile returning. "One day," she whispered to herself. "We'll be together."

Back in the car, Saruyo's expression darkened slightly. She couldn't shake the feeling that someone, somewhere, was thinking about her and Naruto. Her grip on the steering wheel tightened, and a cold determination settled in her eyes. "Let them try," she muttered under her breath. "I dare them."

And with that, the car sped down the road, leaving behind a trail of dust and a sense of unyielding early morning sun cast its light across the quiet training field behind the Uzumaki residence. Saruyo stood in the center, her cold, piercing gaze fixed on Naruto, who was bent over, panting and drenched in sweat. Despite his exhaustion, his determination burned brightly in his blue eyes. Saruyo, ever composed and commanding, crossed her arms over her chest, her tone cutting through the stillness like with that, the car sped down the road, leaving behind a trail of dust and a sense of unyielding resolve.

That evening, the trio gathered at the dinner table. Kushina placed a steaming pot of stew in the center, her cheerful smile lighting up the room. "I hope you two enjoy this. It's one of my special recipes."

Naruto eagerly dug in, his face lighting up. "Thanks, Mom! This is amazing."

Saruyo, seated gracefully across from him, took a bite. Her cold demeanor melted slightly as she nodded in approval. "It's better than any restaurant food I've had."

Kushina beamed, her smile growing wider. "That's wonderful to hear! I'm so glad you both like it."

Once they finished eating, Naruto excused himself and headed to his room. Kushina leaned closer to Saruyo, her playful tone breaking the silence. "So, as I was saying earlier… has Naruto managed to catch the attention of any girls?"

Saruyo's lips curled into a subtle smile. "You were right. He has. Just as you told me."

Kushina chuckled softly, pride evident in her voice. "That's my son. He's quite the catch."

Saruyo's expression turned serious. "From now on, I'll be more cautious."

Kushina tilted her head. "What's the name of the girl he's caught the attention of?"

Saruyo's gaze drifted momentarily. "I believe her name is Ino Yamanaka."

Elsewhere, Ino sneezed and rubbed her nose. "Someone must be talking about me," she muttered. Shrugging, she returned to her thoughts, a mischievous smile spreading across her face as she plotted ways to win Naruto's attention.

Back at the Uzumaki residence, Kushina nodded thoughtfully. "The Yamanaka clan owns the largest flower shop in the city. They're famous for their flowers."

Saruyo's expression remained neutral. "I'm aware."

Kushina smiled warmly. "Well, it's time for me to turn in. Goodnight, Saruyo."

"Goodnight, Aunt Kushina," Saruyo replied, her tone softening slightly as she stood and left the table.

Later that night, Saruyo entered Naruto's room, her presence commanding and confident. "Are you still awake?" she asked.

Naruto, sitting up in bed, turned toward her, his face instantly turning red. "Y-Yeah."

Saruyo smirked and stepped closer, the dim light of the room highlighting her figure. She wore a thin-strapped camisole that barely contained her ample chest. Her long, dark hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her icy beauty made Naruto's heart race.

"Do you remember what I said this morning?" she asked, her voice low and teasing. "I told you I'd let you touch me tonight as a first step."

Naruto's face turned an even deeper shade of red, and he looked away, trembling slightly. "I-I… um…"

Saruyo chuckled softly, her own cheeks tinged with a faint blush. She sat down beside him on the bed, her icy demeanor softening slightly. "You're a lucky boy, Naruto." She reached behind her and unzipped her top, her large chest spilling free. For the first time, her confident facade wavered, and a hint of nervousness crept into her voice. "This… this is the first time I've let anyone do this."

Naruto's eyes widened, and he instinctively looked away, his hands shaking. Saruyo grabbed his wrist firmly and guided his hands to her chest. "Go ahead," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm trusting you."

Naruto's heart pounded in his chest as he hesitantly touched her. Her skin was soft and warm, a stark contrast to her icy personality. Saruyo let out a small, involuntary gasp, her cheeks flushing as she closed her eyes. "It's okay," she murmured, trying to steady her breathing. "You can keep going."

Despite his initial shyness, Naruto's curiosity got the better of him. He gently kneaded her chest, his movements slow and cautious. Saruyo bit her lip, her own shyness breaking through as she let out a soft moan. "You're… doing fine," she said, her voice trembling slightly.

Elsewhere, Ino lay in bed, clutching a stuffed bear. She dreamed of the blond-haired boy who had captured her heart. In her sleep, she murmured, "Naruto… I love you," before smiling and holding the bear tighter. In her dream, she whispered, "Saruyo Uchiha… I hate you."

Back in Naruto's room, Saruyo and Naruto sat in silence, their faces flushed. Saruyo pulled her top back on, her composure slowly returning. "That's enough for tonight," she said, her voice regaining its usual coldness. "Goodnight, Naruto."

"G-Goodnight, Saruyo-san," Naruto stammered, his heart still racing as she left the room.
