AN: So I took a bit of inspiration from the Mandalorian and since Team Plasma was disbanded, I figured to incorporate the idea of Team Plasma Factions running around. Anyways enjoy the chapter.
Ch 129 Return to a Familiar Place
Helena placed her Luggage in the Hallway outside of their Apartment Complex, ready for her to leave. Waiting outside was Sebastian, the Stone Family's Butler, and Diana the Maid who took care of Helena at the Stone Mansion they'll assist her by taking her to the School
The black-haired Woman was wearing a white blouse with white cuffs at the end of the sleeves, a short blue Skirt that reached above her Knees, and a pair of brown Boots that reached her mid-calf. Her Black hair was over her shoulders with a strand of hair braided to tie her hair, her Key Stone Necklace was around her neck,
"You have my Contact and the Blueberry Academy's Number on the Fridge, I've packed Weeks' worth of Baby Formula inside the Fridge, be sure to put them to Bed at Seven or they'll get fussy the next Day…let's see…what else…" Helena said to her Fiancé, telling him how to contact her. "If anything happens, contact me through those, alright?" She said, having second thoughts about going.
Steven chuckles, crossing his Arms after hearing Helena's Motherly concern rant. "Don't worry too much, Ellie. I got everything handled, both me and the Boys are going to be fine." He looks down at his Feet, seeing both his Sons sitting on the Doorway Floor,
Casey and Aiden smile, looking up at their Mother who is about to leave.
"I know, and I don't doubt you, Steven. It's just this is the First Time I'm going to leave the Boys." The black-haired Woman said, looking down at her Babies who was smiling at her. "I've been on Maternity Leave for quite a while, so leaving them is strange to me." She said, used to caring for the Children.
Helena kneels down to her Son, placing a kiss on Aiden's Forehead before placing another kiss on Casey. "Be good for Daddy, my Lovelies." She smiled,
"Ah!" Aiden and Casey smile, reaching for their Mother who is about to leave.
The young Professor felt her Heart pang, seeing the eagerness on her Sons Face for her. Helena's Face softens, feeling like if she stayed any longer, she would most likely miss the trip.
"Ah, no, no," Steven picked up both of his Sons, chuckling at them wanting to be with their Mother. "Mommy is busy right now." The steel-blue-haired said to Casey and Aiden who were starting to fuss.
The Hoenn Champion began to chuckle, looking up at his Fiancée at the situation. "It seems you're not the only One who's going to miss you," Steven jokingly said to the black-haired Woman, carefully holding both of his Sons so they couldn't fall. "Y-You better go before they make you stay Ellie," He smiles at Helena.
Helena could only sigh and wave at her Family as she left. Both Aiden and Casey started to cry for their Mother's Attention, "I'll see you all soon, I love you." She said, grabbing the Handle of her Luggage and leaving her Apartment.
"We love you too, Ellie," Steven chuckled, reaching out his Leg and closing the Door with his Barefoot. Once his Fiancée left the Hoenn Champion did all of his ability to calm both the Boys down,
After being dropped off by the Stone Family Butler, Helena thanked them and an extension to Joseph and Lydia.
Helena walks down the Pathway of the Trainer School, her Emerald Green Eyes spot the Students who are gathering at the Front with their Luggage and their Partners.
"Wow, I didn't expect this many Students to attend the Student Exchange," Helena commented to herself, about to head in and address the Students.
However, just when she was about to head to meet the Students, a familiar Voice spoke to her. "Many of our Students heard about our Student Exchange Program with Blueberry Academy, which must really get their curiosity." Helena turns around, seeing her Mentor standing right behind her.
Helena swiftly turns and faces her Mentor, acknowledging his presence. "Pro-I mean Headmaster, Good Morning." She greeted the blue and blonde-haired Man walking over to his former Student.
"Please, Helena call me by my First Name," Adam said, standing next to the Pokemon Professor. "Are you set for Chaperoning these Students to the Unova Region, Helena?" The young Headmaster asked his former Student, wondering if she was ready.
"Yes, I am, both me and N are packed and ready," Helena responded before shifting her Head from side to side, searching for her Brother. "Speaking about N, I thought he would be with the Students here?" She asked, curious where her Brother was at the moment.
Within the crowd of Students, Paulo transverses through the Students and their Partners. Servine was walking beside him before spotting Helena and Adam talking to each other. "Servine, Servine," The Grass-type Pokemon pulled on his trainer's Clothing, pointing to the Teachers.
Paulo looks down at his Partner, hears him calling out to him, and points to the end of the Path. "Hmm? What is it, Servine?" The dirty-blonde-haired Boy asked the Grass Snake Pokemon. He gazed up, seeing his Mentor/Guardian standing with the new Headmaster in School.
Servine looks back at his trainer, wondering what he's going to do. "Servine?"
"Yeah, I'll go to her, Servine," Paulo said to his Partner, making his way to the Two Instructors of the Trainer School. The Grass-type Pokemon followed close before his Partner, making their way to the Two Adults.
"So Blueberry Academy's Headmaster made living arrangements for each Student Body from the different Schools. Each Floor goes to their respective Region they came from." Adam said, explaining to his former Student how things were organized upon arrival.
Helena nodded, taking mental notes on what to do and where they were going to stay. "Lady Potter," She paused, turning her attention to a messy long white-haired Man, a Man she recognized immediately.
"Ezekiel, what are you doing here?" Helena asked One of the Members of the Shadow Triad, "I thought you, Rajak, and Juno would stay here and assist the Family?" She asked her Family's Security Guard.
The Shadow Triad Member closes his Eyes, responding to the Potter Matriarch's question. "Lord N requested Rajak's that one of the Shadow Triad Members accompany you both as precautionary Security," Ezekiel informed the black-haired Woman.
Helena turns to her Member of her Family, curious about why her Brother requested Security. "I get that N is quite protective, but I see this as too much." She said, reasoning with the white-haired Man.
"N predicted that you would say something like that," Ezekial responded to the Potter Matriarch's statement. "However, there's a reason why he requested that one of the Shadow Triad Members accompany you both to the Unova Region." The white-haired Man said to Helena.
Adam immediately understood what the Shadow Triad was referring to. He turns to his former Student, explaining things to her. "Helena, I wasn't sure if either N or Steven wanted to keep this on the down low. However, with you going back to Unova, it's only right to tell you." The new Headmaster of the Trainer School said,
"There are rumors in Unova that Team Plasma's original Members, most likely the Members of the Seven Sages roaming around the Region, recruiting former Grunts." The blonde and blue-haired Headmaster warns the young Professor.
Helena looks down, pondering the potential threat of this News. Rood has told her that after N relinquished his claim as King of Team Plasma, and Ghetsis's disappearance many of Team Plasma's Grunts and Officials were divided.
Many opted to follow N to be a part of the Potter Family, such as Anthea, Concordia, Rood, and the Shadow Triad. While some, split into separate Factions within Unova. A majority of the Factions held hostility toward her for causing Team Plasma to split and N abandoned his Crown. However, all have a single thing in common; each Faction believes in its own beliefs.
"I see, thank you for telling me, Adam, Ezekiel. I'll figure something out in dealing with those Plasma Factions." Helena said, taking heed of the warnings they gave her.
After a brief wait, N arrived with a bright blue Bus to take them to Rustboro City's Port. The Bus Door opened, and N stepped out, wearing a crisp white shirt with intricate red patterns and an oversized black shirt with striking grey flame designs. His fitted Maroon pants and sturdy brown boots completed the look. "Headmaster, everything is ready to go," N said to his Mentor, heading to the Adults.
"Right, thanks N for getting the Driver," Adam said, appreciating his former Apprentice work. The Headmaster cleared his throat, addressing the Students participating in the Exchange. "Ahem, if I could have everyone's attention. I would like to set a few ground rules before you board the Bus with Professor Potter and Mr. Potter…"
Helena stood beside her Mentor before seeing Paulo approach her. "Paulo, is there something you need?" She asked her Student.
The dirty-blonde haired trainer flinched, unsure how exactly to say what he wanted to say. He took a deep breath before he felt his Partner ushering him say what's in his Mind. "(Servine,)" The Grass-type gave his Partner confidence to speak.
"(Okay, okay, I get it Servine.)" Paulo waved his Hand at the Grass Snake Pokemon before speaking to her.
Helena waited patiently for her Protege to say what, she saw him look at her. "Professor, are you certain that you want me to come with you?" Paulo asked, still rather nerved about what transpired between Helena and her Father. "I'm the Son of the Man who wants to use your Research for his selfish goals."
Paulo continued to stare at his Mentor, wondering why would Helena invite him to the Student Exchange after everything. "So why are you treating me the same as always like before?" He asked his Mentor.
The black-haired Woman could only give a sympathetic expression to her Student/new Member of the Potter Family. Helena reached out, placing her Hand on his shoulders. "Paulo, despite being a Pokemon trainer you're still growing up; a Teenager."
"Trust me when I say this, at your Age, I have no idea what I'm doing." Helena chuckles, remembering how she was still new to her Journey at Paulo's Age. "In your case, Paulo you're just following what your Father wanted. You didn't have much choice in the matter."
"I don't blame you for being involved with your Father, Paulo," Helena said, comforting the dirty-blonde trainer. "As for my reason for treating you the same as before, well let's just say everything that happened is now behind us. Plus before Officer Jenny took your Father away, he asked me to take care of you, and that's exactly what I'm going to do." She smiles, determined to be Paulo's Guardian/Mentor.
Paulo took a moment to register what was said to him, "Servine, Servine!" He looks down, seeing his Partner speaking to him. He doesn't need to be an Ability User to understand what the Grass-type was saying.
The young Pokemon trainer could tell that Servine was saying that 'He was right, and that all of his worries and concerns he was having ever since his Father's arrest.'
"Yeah, I guess you're right, Servine," Paulo said to his Partner, giving a small smile at him.
Helena saw how she was able to put her Student's worries at ease. She then saw the rest of the School's Students boarding the Bus. "Well, you better get your things on the Bus, Paulo. We'll be leaving soon," The black-haired Woman said to her Student.
Paulo nodded, following his Mentor's Words, "Yes Professor," The young trainer looked back at his Partner, "Come on, Servine let's put our Bag on the Bus." Paulo said to Servine, heading to the Bus and joining the other Students and their Pokemon.
After the Students have placed their belongings on the Bus's compartment, the entire group was ready to leave.
Adam watches from the front of the Trainer School, seeing his Students off. He then frowns, couldn't help but be worried for Helena, "Helena, please be careful." The blue and blonde-haired Man said to himself, hoping his 'Daughter' to be safe.
The Bus drove down the Road heading to the Port where a Ferry would take them to Evergrande City and take a Plane to Mistralton City.
The Bus was filled with laughter and excitement from Students and their Pokemon as they were etching towards to a new Region filled with Pokemon they never seen before.
Helena smiles, also feeling excited to visit the Region she considered a second Home to her. A Home away from Home, away from Home to say the least in her Mind,
The black-haired Woman turns to her Brother, looking at his Phone in the Itinerary for the Student Exchange. "N, are you okay? You've been pretty silent ever since we departed from the Trainer School," Helena said, seeing him rather quiet for quite a way,
N flinched, hearing his Sister calling for his attention. "Hmm? Sorry, I was thinking about a few things." The green-haired Ability User said,
"Is it that this is the First Time coming Home to Unova?" Helena asked, knowing this might give N some unpleasant Memories regarding Unova. "Do you have some unpleasant Memories of Unova, N?" He asked her Brother.
The green-haired Man nodded, looking at the ceiling of the Bus. "Yes, to be honest, I have Time to think about my actions back then. I'm not too proud of it, but if I didn't do it then I wouldn't have met you, have a Family and-"
"Met Hilda?" Helena asked, causing N to blink in surprise at the mention of the brunette Pokemon trainer.
"Y-Yeah, H-Hilda too," N said, stuttering upon hearing Helena mentioning Hilda's Name.
The young Professor quickly picked up on N's stuttering, she smiled knowing exactly what that stutter was. Helena hums, taking out her Rotom Phone and pulling up the Itinerary for the Student Exchange. "Oh, would you look at that," She said, raising her Voice.
N heard his Sister's Voice at a high pitch, unable to help himself but be curious. "Helena, what is it?" He asked Helena, shifting his Head. "Did something catch your attention?"
Helena looks at the green-haired trainer, smiling at her Brother. "I just read the Itinerary and who will be attending the Exchange." The black-haired Woman hums, giving a little oomph to what he found.
The green-haired Ability User chuckles, "And who is attending the Student Exchange?" N asked his Sister, playing along with the tone Helena was portraying.
"I saw that Professor Juniper and her assistants will be in attendance. Bianca and…Hilda." Helena italicizes Hilda's Name, which contributes to the importance of the Name to her Brother.
N nearly hit his Head on the Headboard before him at the mention of Hilda's Name. He turns to his Sister, giving a wary smile, "I-Is that s-so? W-Well, considering that Hilda and Bianca often work with Professor Juniper, it m-makes sense that they will accompany her." The green-haired Ability User said, turning to face the Window as they approached the Docks from the sounds of Wingulls and Pelippers outside the Bus,
Helena peers closer to N's Face, spotting a hint of red covering his cheeks. "I see," She hums, knowing exactly what this is.
Sinnoh Region, Snowpoint City
Outside of the Snowpoint City's Trainer School, a bunch of Students were gathered at the front of the School. Many of them had their Partners out, all were chatting with them about the Student Exchange.
Hermione was sitting on a Bench, observing how the Students of this World seemed excited about attending the Event. It was like when she and the rest of the Students of Hogwarts were excited about going on the School Trip to Hogsmeade Village.
"Piplup," The bushy-haired Girl blinks, looking down to see the Starter Pokemon of the Sinnoh Region.
"Are you excited too, Piplup?" Hermione asked her new Partner, picking him up in her Arms. "I get that going to another Country or Region can be exciting. I guess everyone doesn't have the opportunity to travel to other Regions." The young trainer said, placing Piplup on her Lap.
"That's one reason why everyone is excited about the Student Exchange. However, another reason is that there's a lot of Pokemon that aren't common here in the Sinnoh Region." Candice came up as the new Student to the Trainer School.
Hermione turns to the black-haired Gym Leader, who approaches her after checking with the other Students before getting on the Bus. "Ms. Candice," The young Pokemon trainer took a moment to understand what was said to her.
"Ah, now that makes sense, if we are going to another Region there's bound to be different Pokemon living there," Hermione commented, placing her Hand on her Chin. 'It's wrong to think Pokemon isn't the same as Animals on Earth, they are diverse enough that they're spread out. I guess Pokemon is this World's equivalent to Animals.' She mentally thought to herself.
"Lup?" Piplup looked up at his new Partner, seeing she was deep in thought.
"Hermione, are you okay?" Candice asked the bushy-haired Girl, seeing what the Penguin Pokemon saw.
The young Pokemon trainer flinched, looking up at the Instructor who was calling for her attention. "Oh, sorry Ms. Candice. I was just thinking about what kind of Pokemon we're going to see." Hermione said, curious about the Pokemon in the Unova Region.
"Understandable, it's not every day you get to go to another Region," Candice said to the young trainer. "The thought of meeting New Pokemon does excite People," The Ice-type Gym Leader continued,
Hermione could only agree with the black-haired Woman, also feeling excited about heading to a new Region. To say the least, she kinda wishes she had Time to explore the Region properly, she found herself in. "Yeah, I'm excited too; from what I heard from the others said about it, we get to see other Pokemon from other Regions too!" She said she was curious about the Pokemon being present there.
"Piplup!" The Water-type Pokemon exclaims, sharing the same curiosity as Hermione,
"You're excited too, Piplup?" Hermione looks down at her First Pokemon, smiling at the Water-type Pokemon.
Piplup turns his Head to Hermione, raising his flipper in response. "Lup!"
Hermione giggles, seeing how much of a Personality the small Pokemon has.
Candice looks at both the new Pokemon trainer and the Starter Pokemon, being similar to each other makes the pairing. "I'm glad that you Two are getting along well. Professor Ceder will be pleased to see Piplup has found someone to call his Partner." She commented,
Hermione looks up at the young Instructor, curious about the dirty-blonde haired Professor. "Miss Candice, do you know where Professor Ceder is?" The bushy-haired Girl asked Candice.
"Professor Ceder? She's getting our ride to the Airport to the Unova Region." Candice informed the young Pokemon trainer where the Professor was. As she did, Irina returned to the School with a Bus designed to plow through the thick blanket of Snow.
Candice placed her Hand on the side, speaking to the newest Student in the School. "Well, that answers your question, Hermione." She Eyed Hermione with a smile. "Professor Ceder just returned with our Transport."
Hermione nodded, standing up with Piplup carefully placed in her Arms. "We should join the others, right Miss Candice?" She asked, looking up at the young Teacher.
"You bet, Hermione," Candice said, leading both Hermione and Piplup to the Bus.
All were excited, but not as excited as Hermione, for her search for Helena Potter would soon come to an end.
