It was truly a sight in the observatory. Stars lit up the surrounding vastness of space as if it were nothing, comets shining as bright as the eye can see and the many mysterious of the cosmos. They just happened to be passing a particularly strange galaxy, the Space Junk Galaxy. At some point much of the junk had condensed into a very beastly star.

"Beautiful yet melancholic isn't it" spoke Rosalina, Mother of the Lumas and Princess of the Cosmos. "Most if not all of the waste in the universe is outcasted here".

"Strange to see that can of bacon floating all by itself" said Waluigi. Rosalina giggled.

"You never fail to amuse me, you know" said Rosalina.

"You want to see something really cool" said Waluigi.

"Sure" said Rosalina. He led her to Captain Toad's Starshroom.

"Got her all polished for ya and everything Mr. Waluigi" said Captain Toad as he finished polishing the hoverbike. Rosalina gasped.

"It's a P-Wing" said an excited Waluigi. Rosalina smiled.

"You mean to tell me you've been living on this ship for six months and you had a hoverbike and coincidentally I just happened to not notice it" said Rosalina.

"Want to go for a ride" said Waluigi. Rosalina changed into her motorcycle outfit and hopped on the back, clinging on to Waluigi. Waluigi set the gear into superdrive and the two flew around the galaxy.

"You know, my ship can go into hyperdrive but yet this somehow just feels more exhilarating" said Rosalina.

"WOW" said Waluigi as they passed an entire array of planets. It seemed that this star had happened to form another solar system of it's own.

"Wait until you see some of the Legend Galaxies" said Rosalina.

"Those exist?" said Waluigi.

The two later returned to the Pinnacle (the highest room in all of the observatory) where they had been observing the galaxy from before.

"Waluigi" said Rosalina. "I think you should see this"

"Hmm" said Waluigi. He walked over to the control panel and Rosalina's new quantum entanglement computer presented a screen.

Master Waluigi, you have been summoned to the castle on orders of the princess. Arrive within a week or be considered a traitor to the kingdom.

"Why me?" said Waluigi, who was startled and confused at the same time.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because you got drunk and stole a tank from the armoury in Toad Town last year" said Rosalina. "Go. They are expecting your presence". She set the the observatory into hyperdrive and they set off for the Mushroom Kingdom.

When they arrived they were greated by none other than Toadsworth. He was still retaining his position of the Overseer of the Kingdom.

"Ah Master Waluigi, we had been hoping for your arrival" said Toadsworth as he led the two to the throne room.

"Master Waluigi, what a pleasure to see you" said Queen Peach sarcastically.

"Is this because of that tank bullshit" grumbled Waluigi.

"I'm afraid we have a much more pressing matter than that" Mario spoke softly.

"Master Waluigi, I'm not sure how to say this. The kingdom is in a state of emergency and you are the only one who can save us" said Toadsworth. Waluigi looked around.

"Doesn't look like such a state of emergency to me" said Waluigi.

"Have you ever heard of the story of The Man and The Great Stone" said Mario.

"No" replied Waluigi

"Hmm. Not many people have" said Peach.

"Master Waluigi, long ago when the kingdom was in it's early ages, I was foretold of a grand chaotic event that would change the kingdom forever. It is setting itself in motion now. First, we were foretold of plague that would strike the kingdom so severely. We have been struck by a sickness called the Blorbs. People are swelling up the size of hot air balloons. Then I'm sure you've heard of Crown Falls drying up. And today, the final foretold event of the Great Meteor Shower has devastated Yoshi's Island" said Toadsworth.

"What does this have to do with me" said a skeptical Waluigi.

"Do you happen to own a somewhat large sized red emerald" asked Mario. Waluigi was flabbergasted. He did, in fact have one in his pocket.

"Yes. Wherever I go I bring it with me. It keeps me safe and brings peace to me and those around me" said a very surprised Waluigi.

"Ah" Toadsworth gasped. "You are the hero of the prophecy" said Toadsworth. "We were foretold of this as well. A man, larger than any man one has ever seen would come forth with the Emerald of Peace" said Toadsworth. Now Waluigi was certain of it. If anyone knew about this, it would be Toadsworth. He was after all, three hundred years old.

"Well what must I do. W-Where and who do I go to" stammered Waluigi.

"There is only one other person who knows about this" said Toadsworth.

Meanwhile

Chaos was on the streets of Yoshi's Island. Hot molten rock flooded the glossy plains of the island and screams filled the air as far as the shores of Isle Delfino as Torpedo Teds were fired from lootships with hundreds of plundermen onboard

Yoshi leapt down from his burning treehouse and charged through the rainforest to find the secret bunker that he had built in case something like this would happen. He wanted to have one built for the whole island but his comittee had decided against it. He trodded through a wetland, which was filled with exotic rainbow chillis and Goldenback Alligator Turtles and eventually found it.

"Uh uh uh not so fast" chuckled a familiar voice. Yoshi turned to see Boshi facing him. He had clearly been preparing for this as he was jacked and holding a Goldenback Alligator Turtle venom tipped spear. Although docile, the magestic creatures held a deadly poison which would be released when cornered.

"You" growled Yoshi.

"Ah, my old pal. Time to finish you off" Boshi then attempted to do a flying kick and thrusted his spear towards him but Yoshi bent back just in time and overpowered Boshi, swinging his spear back, slightly gutting him in the process. He fell in defeat, proclaiming that he was the true ruler of the island.

"Your grace" cried Perigulus, Supreme Leader of the Shy Guys who inhabited the inner jungles and temples of the island. "We were coming to warn you of his arrival. We've ordered everyones safety over the Island Intercom".

"It's alright" Yoshi rose his hand. "Just try and keep yourselves out of harm's way" he said. He knew what he had to do-an immediate lockdown was in order.

* Meanwhile, at the lake at the Big Boos Mansion on Boo Moon Island

"So it was you of all people. Huh. How it was so indirect" said Waluigi as King Boo reeled in another Manesmouth Fleshstripper, a prized delicacy, from the almighty frozen lake on the mysterious and deadly Boo Moon Island.

"Yes, hmm. I had a feeling it would be you" said King Boo.

"I don't know where to start or what to do" said Waluigi.

"Don't worry, I'll tend to that. Bounce! I want to catch some more fish" said King Boo.
