WELCOME, SORAYA !
He felt like sleeping some more, but then he felt the residual pain on his ear and in his chest, where that bloody woman had hit him. What was her name again…?
Kay. It was Kay. And he was… Os. May you be both damned, you, Saffron and Herb.
He let out a slight wince as he made a quarter turn, switching from the right-side position – the one in which he most often fell asleep now – to the normal lying position, on his back, and began staring at the ceiling.
But he definitely didn't stare for very long, since…
… he felt that he wasn't alone.
There was a presence in the room.
His head slowly turned to the left.
Probably Pops, or maybe Ak-
The rest of the name remained stuck in his throat.
There, in his bed…
… a few inches from him…
… there was an asleep person.
Mouth and eyes opened wide.
Who's sleeping in my bed ?!
The sleeper was well hidden under the quilt, with only hair and forehead visible. Not much to help identify the person.
But what caught Ranma's attention was naturally the hair colour.
Red.
Like my female self…
Realizing it shocked him… but then he thought he was probably wrong, that it was a mere resemblance. A coincidence.
He decided to gently pull the quilt away from that face, to get to the bottom of this, and his right hand was already rising from said quilt, moving in direction of the sleeper…
… when Akane opened the sliding door and started :
"Good morning, Ranma ! Do you min-"
The rest never came.
Because of what she was seeing.
And that was : Ranma extending his arm towards another person… SHARING HIS BED !?
And who else than a girl could share his bed ?
Stupefaction left her face, replaced by an emotion Akane was all too familiar with, especially when she was in presence of her fiancé : the terrible, merciless, untameable ANGER !
"Ranmaaaaa…" she growled threateningly, eyebrows pointing down, fists and teeth clenched, eyes throwing daggers at the now embarrassed boy.
"No no no, Akane… i-it's not what you think !" he stammered helplessly.
"Who is it ? Shampoo, I'm sure !" she spat, walking vigorously to his bed.
She couldn't see the sleeper's hair colour very well and thus didn't realize it was red, not purple.
"Please, Akane ! She wasn't there when I –"
"LIAR !" she screamed, grabbing the quilt and throwing it open.
The girl lying there opened her eyes, feeling cold, and exclaimed : "BUT WHA-"
But once again, the sentence remained unfinished… and, just like with Akane, it was also because of what she saw.
Ranma Saotome.
The male part, right across from her, in the same bed.
"No way…" he whispered.
…because that girl who had slept with him was his female self !
The red-haired pigtailed girl… who was staring at the black-haired pigtailed boy, and reciprocally.
Needless say he was lost for words… as was she.
And same with the youngest Tendo, of course, who gazed, speechless, at the redhead, then at the blackhead, back and the redhead, and so on.
She just couldn't believe that both Ranma's were present… at the same time and place !
"But how… how…" Akane vaguely tried, the rest unable to come out.
Nabiki, who had heard her sister screaming "LIAR !" as she left her own room, walked in… and stood there flabbergasted.
"Ra… Ranma-kun AND Ranma-chan ? Together ? But… how can that be ?" she asked, once surprise stopped paralyzing her vocal folds.
"My thought exactly…" her younger sister replied as she looked at her, before turning her attention to the two parts of the same person, and most especially to the male part, expecting an explanation he was well unable to give…
(…)
The whole family was gathered around the living room table : both Ranma's on one side, with both fathers to their left, Akane to their right, and finally Nabiki and Kasumi opposite. The redhead had actually taken Akane's place, with the third Tendo taking a new spot on the side of the table.
"I never guessed you would be able to… hum… exteriorize ? Hum, let's go with that : to exteriorize your female self, my dear Ranma…" Soun told the Black Pigtail.
The latter immediately put his hands up in a placating attempt.
"Hey, wait ! I… I didn't… exteriorize her. She was present when I woke up. I have no idea how she ever got there."
The Red Pigtail let out an upset sigh.
"You make it sound as if I wasn't there : 'she'… 'her'... I know you were talking to Soun, but still, I felt left out…"
"Okay, well I can't say 'you' when addressing him, can I ?" he retorted.
She made a vexed pout yet, grumbling "Still…" before getting silent.
His turn to sigh in on the annoyed mode.
"But there has to be a reason !" protested Genma. "It happened during the night, and has to come from… from somewhere ! Not just out of the blue !"
Nabiki's eyes lit up.
"Those two siblings, Kay and Os… they must have done something to you ! Something that triggered that dissociation ! Think about it carefully ! Try to remember all the details of your fight against them !"
He did as he was told.
"Well I fought against Os, then Kay arrived and immobilized me, and…"
A specific memory made him goggle.
"The purple liquid…" he whispered to himself, eyes in the vague, as he recalled the forced ingestion.
"What purple liquid, Ranma ?" asked Akane, frowning.
"I don't remember you mentioning that…" Kasumi admitted, probing her memory.
He made a face, realizing he had just voiced what he had hidden to them during the evening explanation of the park's events.
"Well… uh…" he began, not sure if he should lie or tell them.
"Well done, Dude ! You just gave yourself away ! You should have told them yesterday evening. Now go ahead and spit it out !" the redhead reproachfully told him.
The male self turned to the female self, teeth clenched.
"Look, you don't have to tell me what to do, okay ? Don't scold me like that in front of everybody ! It's my business, not yours !"
Soun raised a brow.
"Ranma blistering Ranma… That's really strange…"
"Yes it is…" gently concurred Kasumi, perplexed.
The boy huffed before deciding he couldn't get away with it.
"Okay, okay, I didn't mention something yesterday. But I did it because I didn't want you to worry for me. You were already concerned enough by the bruises I had got from the fight, so I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to make you worry more."
He then proceeded to explain them how the dark purple liquid had exited the vial and flowed straight into his throat, all this by itself, without outer intervention.
All were baffled upon hearing about that weird "living organism" hidden under the semblance of a liquid.
"There, I've said it. And sorry, I thought I was doing good..." he apologized.
Genma crossed his arms.
"It was a good intention, granted, but now I almost bear a grudge to you for hiding it. It could have been something very serious, which would have threatened your life. You can't risk that, and next time, you have to tell us, Son !"
Ranma-boy put his chin in his hand.
"I think he's got a point there…" remarked Ranma-girl on a neutral tone.
"Keep your remarks to yourself !" he lashed out.
"It's pertinent, Dude !" she retorted.
"Don't call me Dude !"
The two pigtailed teenagers started a staring… or rather glaring contest, both jaws contracted.
"Alright, alright, let's calm down, shall we ?" Nabiki demanded, putting her hands up and narrowing her eyes at both Ranma's. "So that… strange liquid is what would have dissociated Ranma-chan from Ranma-kun ?"
"Since nothing else happened that could explain it… maybe that's because of it, yes !" observed Akane.
"And so… we now have two Ranma's instead of one…" concluded Soun, before turning to his old friend and teasing him : "You now have two children to take care of and train, Saotome !"
"Mmmmpf… I don't want to sound rude, but the girl isn't my daughter." When he saw the daggers shot at him by the redhead, he hurriedly added : "Uh, don't get me wrong, alright : I know she is a part of Ranma, and maybe she still has the same feelings and memories as him, but she… well…"
"You can address ME when you speak, instead of saying 'she' and 'her' like your son !" curtly said the current "topic of discussion".
"Okay, okay !" he quickly agreed, sweat-dropping. "YOU are not my daughter as I didn't have you as my child. You are the product of the Jusenkyo spring in which a young girl drowned. You… You see what I mean ?"
He nervously laughed.
"I'm a… 'product'..." she repeated, expressionless.
Her tone was so neutral, so devoid of any emotion, of any feeling, that it caught the others by surprise and left them temporarily speechless.
"But I guess you're right, Genma (it surprised them all to her call him by his name, instead of the usual 'Pops'). I'm not really your daughter. But on the other hand, since I'm technically also a part of Ranma, then… I could somehow be considered as your child. Indirectly, I mean."
"Hum… well… I don't know… possibly, yes…" Saotome Senior admitted.
"I think you should consider Ranma-chan as your daughter, even if she…" Akane started, before quickly recalling something and turning to the redhead : "… even if YOU aren't biologically. But somehow indirectly, as you said, Ranma-chan."
Hearing this, Kasumi thought about something and shared the result of her thinking :
"So, we'll now have to use Ranma-kun and Ranma-chan, like Nabiki says, to make the difference between the two of you ?"
But before anyone could approve or propose something else…
"Actually, you can call me Soraya" suggested female Ranma. "That's the name of the young girl who drowned in that Jusenkyo spring, and whom I look like."
"Okay, but… how do you know her name ?" asked a curious Nabiki.
The Red Pigtail shrugged.
"I have no idea, honestly. I just know it, that's all. It's possible that each person transforming into one of the people who drowned in Jusenkyo does know the name of the deceased one he or she looks like. There must be a connection, somehow. But I know for sure that the original red-haired pigtailed girl was named Soraya, and you can call me this from now on, to make the distinction with Ranma."
"Alight, so… welcome to the family, Soraya ! We hope you'll enjoy yourself here !" announced the Tendo patriarch.
"And hopefully you two will get along better, right ?" Nabiki teased, winking.
"As long as she tones it down, we -" started Ranma.
"I have the right to make remarks, if they're pertinent !" immediately cut Soraya.
"Please, please, no bickering again !" intervened Akane. "Ranma, as the big brother, you must-"
"Hey, she's NOT my sister !" he protested.
"She's like your sister, in a way, so treat her as if she really were, and be kind to her, Ranma ! I know you and your wild mood swings*, and I'll be watching you, so you'll have to behave !"
*Little wink of mine to a band of my teenage years : The Cure. WILD MOOD SWINGS is the last opus I have in my Cure collection, and while not a bad one, it's still far from THE HEAD…, KISS ME… and DISINTEGRATION, the 3 masterpieces ! Wish I had seen them live, but meeeeh…
Soraya smirked at her male version, who openly growled at her in return yet didn't oppose to Akane's words.
"You'll have to arbitrate your children's squabbles, Saotome…" an amused Soun told his old buddy, as he laughed and gave him two pats on the back.
Genma's shoulders slumped as he let out a tired sigh of defeat.
(…)
Ranma and Genma were as usual fighting by the pond, this time because the father had stolen his son's narutomaki… and said son was quite fond of it, hence his seeking revenge.
Genma was taunting his upset progeny as he managed to dodge all incoming blows, which enraged the boy even more.
"All that for a narutomaki…" sighed Nabiki, head resting on her hand, half-closed eyelids indicating her annoyance.
"Talk about maturing…" sarcastically remarked Soraya, as she ignored the fight.
"I have an inkling you'll be the most reasonable of the Saotome siblings…" remarked Akane.
"You barely know me, so don't speak too soon…" Soraya pointed out "…but thanks anyway !"
She concluded with a smile at the third sister, who smiled back, thinking (and actually hoping) that the blue-eyed girl would behave nicer than her male counterpart.
In the mean time, what had to happen… happened : after knocking his father into the pond, Ranma tried to get back to breakfast, but the giant panda managed to "return the favour" by also sending his son underwater !
"Oh no ! Now how will we make the difference between Soraya and Ranma-chan ?" worriedly uttered Akane.
But the problem got solved as soon as it appeared… because the one now sitting in the pond was Ranma-kun and not Ranma-chan !
"I… I didn't change !" exclaimed the Black Pigtail as his hands let him know that his chest was… still flat, under the red Chinese outfit !
HOW CAN THAT BE ? read the Panda's sign.
All were goggling at the boy emerging from the pond, not believing what their eyes were watching.
Soraya, visibly less surprised, turned her attention back to the table and got lost in thought.
As Ranma was leaving the pond and walking back to the living room, the red-haired teen caught sight of the teapot Kasumi had brought a little earlier and, extending her arm, she grabbed it, raised it right over her head and poured hot water on her fiery hair.
After being baffled by the boy not transforming into a girl, they were now all baffled by the girl not turning into a boy !
"What ?! You also don't switch gender anymore, Soraya ?!" exclaimed Akane.
"Visibly not. I guess we'll stay as we are, from now on…" observed Soraya.
"Your split had a welcome effect for you two : keeping the same body." Nabiki deduced, and turning to Ranma : "That's what you wanted, after all : not transforming anymore. You must be happy."
He grinned.
"Yup ! Finally !"
"And you ?" Nabiki asked Soraya.
"Oh, I don't really mind, actually. But yeah, our lives will get simpler indeed." She turned to Ranma and gave him a knowing look. "Especially yours, after complaining at length about turning into me…"
He crossed his arms and made a face.
"Anything wrong with that, by chance ?"
"I think we understand each other perfectly, right, "Brother" ?" she ironically retorted.
"You bet we do… "Sister" ! " he replied on a grumpy tone.
"You really should mediate between your children, Saotome…" teased Soun, unable to resist chaffing his old friend.
"But I already told you… ah, forget it…" Genma replied on a defeated tone, shoulders slumping.
As if he didn't have enough to do with Ranma only…
(…)
"Quiet, class !" demanded the teacher.
Easier said…
All couldn't help whispering with each other about that unknown student who strangely resembled one of them…
"QUIET, I SAID !" exclaimed the teacher, close to shouting.
This time, the general murmur floating about in the classroom decreased and finally died away.
All teenagers were now focused, ready to hear the teacher introduce that newcomer who looked pretty familiar.
"Dear students, let me introduce you our new student : Soraya Saotome. And as you can guess from her family name, she is the sister of Ranma Saotome. I ask you to welcome her warmly and make her feel comfortable in our class."
Then he turned to the young redhead observing the classroom.
"Soraya, we have started school only two weeks ago, so we naturally haven't been very far in the program. I will let you see with Ranma what needs to be caught up, so that you can be up to date with the current lessons we're working on in the various disciplines. Here is the exercise book we're using for this lesson. You can take it and go sit at the free desk by the window."
She nodded, took said book and went to sit where she had been told, avoiding all gazes to not feel uncomfortable from the omnipresent curiosity, all eyes being evidently on her as she walked to her spot.
After a quick glance at her male counterpart, she focused on the lesson, not without remembering that she would have to face a barrage of questions.
And indeed, at lunch break…
"Ranma, this is your female self. How come she is separate from you now ?" asked Daisuke.
"You managed to find a way to take her out of your body ?" wondered Hiroshi.
"Are you really the sister of Ranma ?" Yuka wanted to know.
"I thought he was an only child and therefore had no siblings…" remarked Sayuri.
The four of them were eating in company of Ranma, Soraya and Akane, and as the closest friends of the couple of fiancés, they felt kinda privileged and thus "authorized" to ask about the truth.
"It's… complicated…" started Ranma. "In fact, she isn't my real sister… but my female part, as you said. For some reason, I recently woke up and she was out of me. I have no idea how that happened. (…which was a lie) And now, when I get splashed with cold water, I no longer transform into her : I remain the same. And same for her with hot water : it doesn't turn her into a boy either, but leaves her unchanged."
"I hate it when you speak about me at third person singular and I'm just beside you…" grumbled Soraya.
"Yeah, you already told me. And I already replied that when I explain something about you to others, I HAVE to use 'she' and 'her' instead of 'you'. I can't speak in another way, sorry."
But he naturally didn't sound the least sorry… more like ticked off.
She didn't answer but instead let out a long sigh, air rushing briskly out of her nose.
"And to make things simpler, we asked Genma to consider Soraya like his daughter… which isn't technically wrong, since she is the female part of Ranma … so that kind of makes her Genma's daughter, and Ranma's sister !" explained Akane.
There was a moment of silence, the seven of them eating their lunch while lost in their thoughts, the four friends of the fiancés trying to decide if they had understood everything.
"Mmmmh… and will you two stay like that, separate, or will you try to find a way to fuse again ?" questioned Daisuke.
"I don't know… but as for me, I would gladly keep the status quo !" declared Soraya, smiling.
"The what ?" asked a perplexed Ranma.
"Status quo. That means : the same situation. I would like to remain in the same situation we're now in. It's nice to be free and meet Ranma's family and friends… independently, on my own" the red-haired beauty explained.
"Ah, there you are, Pigtailed Girl !" exclaimed an all-too-familiar voice… whose owner was not good at all in their books.
Tatewaki Kuno was hurrying towards Soraya, who raised a stopping hand in front of him.
"I'm not in love with you and never will be ! And Akane neither !" she told the "intruder" on a curt tone, making a chin gesture in direction of Akane as she finished.
"Tendo Akane ! You are here as well ! I hadn't seen you !" the president of the kendo club exclaimed with joy.
The youngest Tendo was about to protest but she was piped at the post.
"LEAVE HER ALONE !" screamed the Red Pigtail as she got up from her spot and placed herself between Kuno and Akane, before resuming her addressing him angrily : "She doesn't love you either ! None of us two are interested by you ! So let's make things clear, here and now : we demand you to STOP coming after the two of us and leave us alone ! Akane and I don't even want you as friend : you lack the modesty and kindness a friend must have. So stay out of our way from now on. Understood ?"
Kuno was visibly lost for words, far from expecting such a behaviour and tone from his beloved… well, one of his beloved.
The usually proud and confident boy, disconcerted for once, his mouth agape, turned to Akane, hoping she would be nicer to him, but…
"You heard what Soraya said. We ask you to let us be, because we are not in love with you. We never have been and want you to respect our feelings, to stop coming around us. If you want to ask us a favour and we can help, maybe, but not for anything else. Alright, Kuno ?"
His mouth remained wide open as he stared at Akane, then slowly turned back to Soraya, who was still giving him a defiant look, frowning.
"Alright…" he merely said in a disappointed voice, turned around and slowly walked away, shuffling his feet, shoulders slumped.
"He can be pretty annoying, but that's the first time I see him this low…" observed Hiroshi.
"Haven't you been a bit harsh to him ?" suggested Yuka, looking at Akane first, then at Soraya.
It was the latter who replied : "We had to get things straight once and for all ! Enough of his unwanted attention ! Now that we made it perfectly clear, I do hope for him that he'll no longer come bother, or else…"
The implied threat was obvious to all of them.
"Good job at chasing him ! I never managed to speak to him that way, when I was a girl…" conceded Ranma, somewhat impressed by her firmness.
"No one messes around with me !" she simply but very clearly stated.
"Waow, Man ! Soraya seems to be even more determined and strict than you in your female form, Ranma !" admitted Daisuke.
The Red Pigtail smirked at the Black Pigtail and, raising her arm, she folded it, fist clenched, in the typical I'm strong gesture.
Upset by both Daisuke's remark and the redhead's smugness, the black-haired boy made an ostensive pout.
(…)
As they arrived at the Tendo's, the three teenagers saw Kasumi come to meet them.
"Ah, there you are. Ryoga just came home, about an hour ago. He's in the living room."
"Great ! Let's go welcome him !" enthusiastically replied Akane.
"You can go. I'll just have a glass of water. I'm thirsty." said Soraya, who then followed Kasumi into the kitchen.
The fiancés reached the living room, and while Akane went to properly meet the Lost Boy, Ranma teased him from the entrance of the room :
"Hey, Piglet, how long did it take you to finally get here, this time ?"
"RANMA !" yelled Akane, glaring at him. "And why do you call him piglet ?!"
The cheeky teenager laughed up his sleeve.
"Oh, for no particular reason…" he replied on a fake innocent tone, before adding : "I'll just go to the loo. Be back in a few minutes for more fun."
And the annoying boy left, leaving Ryoga to grumble "Fun… yeah…"
"Ignore his mischief. You know he does it on purpose to make you react. Not paying attention is the best way to give tit for tat." Akane advised him.
He smiled at her.
"Yes, you're right. But that boy always manages to push my buttons, no matter what…"
"Hello, Ryoga !"
Both turned to see the small red-haired female enter the room and walk to the table.
"Already back ?!" exclaimed a clearly surprised Ryoga. "You've been rather quick ! And what's with the gender change ?"
She raised a brow.
"The gender change ?"
But the metaphorical bulb almost immediately lit up in her brain.
"Oh, I see… But no, I didn't change gender…" she answered with a sly smile.
Ryoga's surprise didn't decrease.
"Of course you did ! You were a boy only a few minutes before !"
The blue-eyed girl chuckled, but in a nice, amused fashion, not in a mocking one.
"My dear friend, you're in for a surprise. Just wait a few minutes more."
And the smiling redhead glanced at Akane, giving her a conniving wink.
The Bandana Boy, noticing this, looked at the one he loved, then back at the one he thought to be his rival in his female form.
"What –"
"I'm back !" announced Ranma as he showed up in the living room.
Ryoga's eyes rarely opened completely… but this definitely was one of those times : he was goggling in the most comical manner, his incredulous stare shifting back and forth between the two pigtailed ones observing him with visible amusement.
"But…But… th-that's… that's impossible ! How… how can you be… both here ? Ranma, how did you…?"
'Stunned' seemed almost insufficient a word to render his astonishment.
"It's a trick, right ? One of you two is someone else in realty, someone who managed to transform into Ranma ! Right ?"
"Wrong, sorry…" Soraya told him as she lifted her hands, palms up, in the typical powerlessness gesture, a gentle smile still stretching her lips.
"Come on, Ranma, explain him !" demanded Akane after a short moment, although she had to inwardly admitted she had found Ryoga's reaction amusing.
The male martial artist did as he had been told, and once he was finished…
"So… if one of you gets splashed with either cold or hot water, there could then be two male or two female Ranma's ?!" wondered the young Hibiki.
"Ah, uh, no no no ! We can't transform anymore ! None of us ! Our bodies don't change with water now !" the red-haired teen explained.
"Ah, okay… Hum, so, uh… your name is Soraya, right ?"
"Yup, that's me. And in case you wonder why, we decided to use that name to make the difference with Ranma, and that's the name of the young girl who originally drowned in one of the cursed springs of Jusenkyo."
The Lost Boy tried to process all the new info he had got in so little time, and they merely gazed at him for long seconds.
"Did you understand everything or not ?" Ranma wanted to know. "Coz in case you're still clueless…"
"I'm not that dense, mind you" Ryoga reacted.
"Hum hum…" was the pigtailed boy's answer, a doubtful answer whose implication was obviously rude.
"What ? You're implying I'm not that smart and can't get it ?" the boy with the fangs grumbled.
"Well…" started Ranma, but then Soraya swiftly slipped on the floor, in his direction, and quickly elbowed him.
"Hey, calm the hell down, Dude ! If you've got nothing nice to say, might as well keep it shut, eh !"
"Mind your own business, you !"
"Ryoga is a cool guy, and he'd make a good friend, if only you'd give him a chance !"
"Friend ? With him ? He's my rival, in case you forgot !"
Soraya was about to reply again, but Akane was quicker :
"I know he is, but that doesn't mean friendship is impossible between you… You can still respect each other, if you really want, and make efforts to get along better. And that could eventually end up in friendship indeed !"
Ranma shook his head.
"Sometimes, you're really naive, my poor Akane…"
The girl's features twisted in discontent and she opened her mouth, but this time, it was Soraya who piped her at the post :
"Akane is a nice girl ! She doesn't deserves this ! So stop badmouthing everyone around, Dude !"
"And you, stop calling me 'Dude' !"
"I will… once you behave correctly to others !" She raised her nose in a proud, provoking manner as she concluded in a smooth voice : "…Dude."
Ryoga watched them, eyes and mouth wide open, not believing what he saw : Ranma lecturing Ranma… and reciprocally !
It was as if someone was looking at themselves in a mirror and making reproaches at the reflection. A kind of self-quarrel, if one could put it that way.
Ranma gritted his teeth, growling threateningly.
Soraya's eyes narrowed at him, topped by a huge frown.
"I won't let you hurt my friends, even if you're technically my male half !" she warned him.
"Oh, so Ryoga is your friend now ? Whatever, I guess. But don't provoke me or push me too much or you'll be sorry… "Sister" !" he warned her.
"I can take you whenever you want, "Brother". And don't be too sure about winning…" she concluded, before Akane intervened :
"Okay, okay, that's enough, right ? Please calm down, both of you. If you don't, things will escalate and you know it won't be good at all. Please !"
She looked almost pleadingly at each in turn, hoping reason would prevail.
And it did, but not without a final twist : Ranma stormed out of the room.
The third Tendo deeply sighed.
"I wish he had more common sense…" she confessed.
"So did I… but he'll probably calm down, as he always does." Soraya comforted her. "And if he still wants to sulk, well… just let him sulk until he finally returns to normal !"
The short-haired teen nodded and said : "And thank you for defending Ryoga and me when he was going too far, and saying positive words about both of us. That was very kind of you."
"Yes, thank you indeed, Soraya !" added Ryoga.
"Don't mention it. I'm more respectful than him, and I have s great sense of justice. And I won't let anyone hurt my friends, be it physically or psychologically. Not even Ranma, even if I'm a part of him. He'll know soon enough who's he's dealing with…"
(…)
(…)
And that's how Ranma ended up split in two ! Or rather, more precisely, how his female part came out of his male body and thus gained a life of her own !
But the two are far from bonding, as you can see. They both have a certain strong nature, and when two strong natures end up "colliding" with each other… there inevitably are sparks of heat, right ?
Yet Soraya is behaving more fairly, more respectfully than Ranma, even if she comes from him and could therefore be expected to share his impudent nature. But no, and she even challenges him and scolds him about his behaviour, like a big sister !
Will their relationship improve or not ? How will it evolve ? And who will meet Soraya next ? How will others react to Ranma's two forms being separated and now unable to transform anymore ? What awaits the unofficial "siblings" ? Read to find out !
