Lauren walked quickly to glee rehearsal not really paying attention to where she was going. She was lucky she didn't bump into anyone. When she got there, she sat down in the back ready to observe .Her pencils out her notebook out and opened .She fidgeted in her chair anxiously her eyes darting around the room her mind on the rumors of the locker room fights as well as the fact that that Rachel had been talking about how she was sure she was going get a solo at sectionals .But Lauren had the inside scoop. She'd overheard a conversation with Mr. Schuster and Miss Pillsbury and she knew for certain that Rachel wasn't going to get one. Her reaction was going to be the subject of Lauren's next article. Her eyes lit up as Rachel walked in the room holding hands with Finn. Then the rest of the class came in after them. Lauren looked at her watch it was time for glee start. Where was. Mr. Schuster, teachers should never be late. Mr. Schuster arrived almost 5 minutes late, Lauren was very well aware of this.
The minute Mr. Schuster got up in front of the club Rachel announced, "I have the perfect song for me and Finn to sing at sectionals. "
Mr. Shoe responded "I'll stop you right there Rachel, sectionals we will be doing a duet dance number, the warblers are your basic stool choir group. They don't dance so we will be doing a number showing off our talents headed by Mike and Britney'"
Rachel asked "You want Britney and Mike to dance behind me as I sing?"
Will answered" you won't be getting a solo this time I want the winner of our duet's competition to sing the leads"
Rachel responded "Ken and Barbie are you trying to throw the competition? Didn't
you read Lauren's article that said the competition was rigged.?"
Quinn said "I used to think you were Just pretty annoying, but now I basically just feel like punching you in the face every time you open your mouth."
Will said "I been doing a lot of talking about how we are all special but I haven't walked the walk so this time I'm going to let others shine. You all have a lot of talent and it's about time I featured it."
Rachel said to Finn "do something"
Finn responded "I'm all for pumping up everybody, that's fine at practice but you don't take the star quarterback out before the big game."
Lauren asked "What makes you think you and Rachel are the star quarterbacks? According to my article and reviews I would say the star is Mercedes. Plus, the quarterback still needs the rest of his team. Sam is more talented than Finn, everyone must've thought Quinn was very talented too or we would've objected to them winning the contest. Because I happen to know you all wanted to go to breadsticks for free."
Will announced "it is now time to move on. The song I have chosen is" I had the time of my life" from the movie Dirty dancing,"
Lauren said "I love that movie."
Britney said "I love that movie too and I can dance better than Jennifer Grey. Nobody puts Quinn in the corner, time to put Rachel in one."
