Rachel couldn't believe she was getting a manicure with Quinn of all people.
Quinn had texted her that she wanted to get her nails done ,and would be willing to treat Rachel as a birthday present.
Rachel could barely believe Quinn knew it was her birthday.
Rachel looked at the choices of nail polish carefully, she had never polished her nails let alone had a manicure before. The nail salon had an odor she didn't recognize. Rachel looked at Quinn as she chose her color, she picked a sparkly dark red. Rachel decided on a very pale neutral pink.
Quinn looked at the color Rachel had selected and laughed. Quinn said "that's so boring what are you 12?"
Rachel was about to defend her choice of nail polish but then decided maybe Quinn was right.
She responded with "fine what do you suggest?"
Quinn handed her a polish called OPI red and said "wear red be bold."
Rachel said "most people think I'm already too bold."
Quinn said sarcastically "really I have no idea why that is."
Rachel replied "I don't know you could ask Lauren."
Quinn said "I'm not going to ask Lauren anything because her latest article was about, how she'd make a better prom queen than me and actually asked people to vote for her."
Rachel asked "who would vote for her?"
Quinn replied "the only reason I can think of would be so they could throw pigs blood on her like they did in Carrie ".
