Prologue:
Somewhere in a hospital in New York City
"Are we close, Doctor?" a man in a suit asks.
"Almost sir, we just need to see if the cure works on humans," the doctor said prepping a test subject. "Alright, Mister Reese, this might sting a little," he said administering the cure to the subject. They had been working for many years on this. Finally, they were close to a breakthrough. A cure to cancer. It would finally happen. The doctor stood back and watched the subject checking his vitals. Everything seemed fine. Then all of a sudden the subject started convulsing violently. His vitals started dropping like crazy
"What's happening doctor," the man in the suit asks with panic in his voice.
"I don't know but…" the doctor stopped and looked at the heart monitor as the subject flatlined. "He's dead sir"
"Damn," the man pinched his nose, sighing. "We were so close. Prep an autopsy so we can figure out what went wrong."
"Yes sir," the doctor said, going to unstrap the subject. All of a sudden the man's eyes shot open. They were now blood red. He grabbed at the doctor and bit him, taking a piece of his arm. "He's still alive somehow!" the doctor yelled trying to stop the bleeding. Guards rushed in and got the doctor out before subduing the subject.
"Get him to the E.R. ASAP!" the man in the suit shouted. "He'll need immediate attention!" However, the doctor turned on a waiting patient on the way there and bit them.
15 hours earlier in Japan
"All right students, I'm only going to say this once," Shota Aisawa said, staring down his students in the Tokyo International Airport. "You will act responsibly and be good models for our school and our country or so help me you will wish I had expelled you is that clear?"
"Yes, Aisawa Sensei!" Class 1A shouted.
"The same thing goes for my students," said Sekijiro Kan. "You will act with respect and dignity or you will suffer the consequences. Am I clear?"
"Yes Kan Sensei!" Class 1B shouted.
"Well now that that is all worked out, who's ready for a 14-and-a-half-hour flight!" shouted Toshinori Yagi. All of the students groaned. "Oh, come on, 14 hours isn't that bad. Okay, how about this, who's ready to go to New York?"
"ME!" everyone shouted.
"Good, remember we need to uphold our school's honor and show the world why we are the top school in Japan. Remember our motto. Say it with me," Toshinori said getting everyone's attention. "PLUS ULTRA!" he and all U.A. students shouted. For the first time in U.A. history classes 1A and 1B were able to go on a class field trip to the United States. They were all going to New York of all places. Of course, everyone was excited. For them, this was going to be the trip of a lifetime. However, none of them knew just how life-changing this trip would be because none of them knew that in 12 hours when they landed in New York a cancer treatment would cause a mutation in the test subject's cancer cells. This mutation would then create a virus that caused a hunger for flesh and the desire to spread the virus to as many as possible. The beginning of their field trip was the start of the end of the world.

The long and short of it is I'm to lazy to try and deal with all of the ramifications that would come with quirks. Also This story is told through 4 perspectives: Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki & Kaminari. This is a IzuCho, KaTsuyu, TodoMomo & KamiJirou story all enemies to lovers because I love conflict. I also bring this up because this means that some characters like Uraraka will be a little OOC.
