Return to Paris

Once they were near 30 miles to Paris, they felt it was okay to go tangible and slow down.

"Finally…" Sam muttered.

"Dad… who taught you how to drive?" Danielle asks.

"Your grandpappy taught me." Jack said plainly. "Dad always did say to drive like there's no tomorrow."

"With the way you drive… there might not be…" Jazz muttered.

"Your father forgot to mention that your grandfather learned to drive because he had a " hobby" of being a getaway driver for his city cousins." Maddie explained.

"That explains a lot…" Danny mutters.

"It also explains what Vlad used to mutter about during my first week of living…" Danielle said.

"And what'd he say?" Maddie asks.

"He used to say that…" She then tried to furrow her brow to look more like the man she once saw as her father. "That idiot Jack Fenton runs the risk of adding more ghosts every time he gets behind the wheel of a car, much less picking up a dinner fork."

"That… sounds like an awful thing that Vlad would say…" Maddie remarked with disapproval.

"I still can't believe it… my old best friend not only hated me, but thought I ruined his chances with someone who didn't see him like that AND was willing to do so many heinous things… Who could have seen that he hated me that much and wanted me dead?" Jack asks as part of him was still hurt by it.

"Everyone." Everyone in the vehicle said flatly, much to Jack's surprise.

"Seriously?" He asks.

"Seriously." Everyone stated.

"Do I really come off as that kind of guy who'd somehow cause unspeakable collateral damage and have all the signs that people hate him go over his head?" Jack asks.

"Yes, you do." Everyone went once more.

Jack frowned at this as he kept driving.

As that went on, Maddie sighed bitterly as her thoughts went back to Alicia.

How she had withheld information, damaged their relationship and risked her own life to aid them in such a short span.

"So..."Danielle dragged the word for what could feel like several miles long. Her eyes stared at the floor, possibly finding it comforting.

It was a long moment before Maddie heard this, bringing the young girl's attention back up.

"Yes?" Maddie placed a hand on her head.

"So...are you going to forgive your sister?..."Dani asked.

"I...don't know. " Maddie said, unable to find the right words.

Although she was angered at what the Beast did to her sister, it didn't make her forget how angry she was. A clear catch-22.

"So... what's gonna happen to us?" Tucker asks.

"What do you mean?" Jazz asks.

"The two of us aren't supposed to be here." Tucker pointed out. "For all we know, we're stuck here until it's time for Wulf to open the portal for the rest of you."

"I'm sure Frostbite's going to remember as soon as we see him that we're supposed to be home and take us back." Sam assured him.

"10 bucks says I'm right..." Tucker said with his arms crossed.

"You're on." Sam said in response.

As that went on, Danny looked back out the window, his mind on The Beast.

"Where is he now?" He asks.

Early sunrise

A loud and grotesque sounding belch occurred nearby a giant skeleton that was now clean of all meat that was once on it.

The Beast licked his lips in a satisfied sigh.

"Much better… it's been so long since I had eaten so much... Then again, I was dead for over 200 years." He let out a small chuckle, enjoying that he could eat once more. "I'm beginning to feel alive again. And not just because I came back to life hours ago."

As he took in a breath, he thought back to his last moments of life, back in the late 1700's.

Flashback

On one snowy night on Mont Mouchet, a hunting party was looking for him, aiming to end his reign of terror for the past 3 years.

The Beast was quiet, silently stalking one such target for a while.

"There he is..." He growled under his breath, seeing a familiar face.

Someone he knew full well.

This person heard a footstep in the snow, alerting him.

"Cedric?" He asked, raising his gun. "Is zhat you?"

"I am more zhan zhat name now..." The Beast said in his old, human voice. "But yes, it iz me."

The Beast slowly made his appearance from behind a tree, teeth baring.

"I warned you..." This man said.

The Beast only scoffed as his face showed just how much he was ready and willing to kill this man.

"Goodbye... old friend." He said before leaping from the tree and running on all fours at his target.

"I was about to say zhe same zhing..." This man said before pulling the trigger.

Flashback over

That was the last thing he recalled before he felt a pain in his chest. After that, he woke up dead.

The Beast snorted in anger as he was reminded of his current predicament.

"So… zhe foul scented one said… what zhey were hiding from me to make sure my one weakness was no more… and it's in Pari? Zhen I will make my way zhere… It would take me days to reach it…" He said, looking down at his paws. "Even with zhis form… It will take too long. Now… how to get zhere faster?"

He made his way out the forest in the direction of Paris, only to see a man-made road.

Zhis must be one of those roads for zhese car zhings I have 'eard of from zhose one-eyed captors… He thought.

He then heard the sound of a motor from afar, causing him to hide behind a tree to watch a limousine making its way.

Inside, one man sat in the very back, looking very impatient and haughty. It was a tall, well groomed man with brown hair, brown eyes, tan skin and wearing expensive purple clothes, suggesting he might be wealthy.

"How much longer?!" He shouted from the back in a thick French accent.

"We will arrive by noon, sir." The driver said.

Inside with him were his two men, his bodyguards, who sat in front of their employer, who scowled at what was on his phone.

"Hmph… my last 3 ex-wives are demanding money… as if those harpies will ever get it. I haven't been this annoyed since that blonde woman said no to cheating on her husband with me…" He complained.

As that went on, something hit the car on the side, causing it to brake hard.

Both the rich man and his guards held on as the driver looked back in worry.

"Everyone alright?!" He asks.

"WHY AREN'T WE MOVING AND WHAT HIT US?!" Their employer shouted in anger.

Before they knew it, something pounced on the hood that then jumped off.

"What was that?!" The driver asks.

"Who cares?! Get moving! I have a show to see and women to make a move on!" Their employer shouted.

An ear-piercing scratch at the door alerted them, causing everyone inside to jump away.

"Something's out there…" One of the bodyguards said.

"Let's handle this." The other said as they exited and raised their guns.

Their employer scowled as he crossed his arms.

"Be quick! I hear the lead actress will be gorgeous!" He shouted.

"I unders-" One bodyguard said before he made a pained choking sound and went silent.

"What in the he-" The other went before he too made that same sound.

There was a long, unpleasant silence as both the rich man and the driver remained still.

Nothing happened.

"What's happening out there?!" The rich man shouted.

Before they knew it, a clawed hand broke through the back windshield, pulling the rich man out as he cried out in fear. He was violently thrown to the concrete, rolling as he began to pant in fear. Before he could get away, the Beast grabbed him by the neck, grinning at him.

"Bonjour." He said, claws ready.

"W-What are you?!" The rich man said.

"Cedric Devereux…" The Beast responded.

"Wh-Who?" The man said, sweating hard.

The Beast growled in anger to hear that as he tossed the man aside.

"Zhey don't know me?! Zhey zought me a monster back zhen… zhey forgot who I was!" He shouted in increasing rage.

The driver looked ready to go, only for the Beast to pull the vehicle up by the back and tilt it to its side.

The snooty rich man crawled back in fear as he looked to his right, seeing what just happened to his men before he fought the urge to vomit in response. The Beast turned his head to him, causing him to freeze in place.

"N-No! Don't hurt me! Hurt him!" The rich man went, pointing at his driver. "He makes small money, he is not high class!"

"Zhat is not important to me…" The Beast said before turning his head to the driver who was petrified with fear. "You! Can you make zhis horseless carriage go to Pari?" He asks. The driver nodded in fear. "Good…" He said before baring his teeth and grinning at the snooty man. "As for you…"

"I-I am a rich man… I can pay you with a large sum of money…" He said as the Beast observed his clothes. "A-Anything if you let me go!"

The Beast smiled.

"I will take… your clozes…" The Beast said.

The rich man seemed to calm down at that.

"Yes,well… zhey are not for sale. Although, I am a wealthy man. I can have zhis same kind of suit in your size…" He said, hoping that would save his life.

"You misunderstand…" The Beast said before both his paws looked ready to be used for something violent. "I said… I will TAKE your clozes…"

The rich man gulped hard, realizing now what he wanted.

"N-no… please…" He begged, his eyes widening.

He tried to back away, only for the Beast to close the gap quickly.

Meanwhile

A knock at the door of Danny, Jazz and Danielle occurred.

"Room service." It said on the other side.

"Alright!" Danielle said cheerfully as she opened the door.

A bellhop soon appeared, bringing a cart that was stacked nearly to the ceiling with all sorts of breakfast foods.

"This is way more food than last time." He pointed out.

"We gotta eat..." Danielle said as she took some food from the cart.

"Mostly her..." Jazz said, gesturing to Danielle.

"If you say so…" The bellhop said as he left.

Once he did, Danny used intangibility to peek through the door, confirming he was going to the elevator. With that, Danny went to the bathroom door.

"All clear." He said as he opened it.

In the bathroom were Sam and Tucker, both looking disheveled and displeased.

"I complained about my parents buying me a luxury bed as opposed to donating to the animal shelter… now I'm never complaining again, especially if I have to share the tub with Tucker." Sam muttered.

"Hey, you weren't exactly my ideal slumber party guest either…" Tucker went. "Tell me… does HRRRGGGHHUUGGGHH sound familiar? It's how you snore."

Sam scowled at him before looking at the three trays of food.

"Well… hopefully this will cheer me up…" Sam said with a satisfied smile.

"Oh, BT-Dubs, dude, I used your toothbrush, hope you don't mind." Tucker said.

"Wait… what?" Danny went.

"That blue one is yours, right?" Tucker asks.

"Actually, that's mine… and I do mind." Jazz said with a disapproving frown.

"Oh… oops…" Tucker went, looking unashamed as he walked over to the tray and ignored Jazz's annoyance. "That's a lot… Glad you got it without trouble."

"No, actually, the bellhop pointed out how this was a lot of food." Danielle went. "And before you ask, yes, I did order room service."

''I can definitely see you abusing that..." Sam said.

"Look what I packed for us." Danny said, pulling out a blender from the luggage. "So, what to make for an after breakfast drink? Eggs and bacon?" Danny asks.

"Ooh! See if melon and sausage can work!" Danielle went eagerly.

"And… I'm taking mine outside." Sam muttered as she picked up her plate.

"Oh… I'll go with you." Jazz said, picking up hers.

"Good call, don't wanna risk her being seen by hotel staff without drawing attention." Danny said.

"Right… right…" Jazz said with a fake smile as she and Sam went through the door, that smile leaving after she closed it. "There is no way I'm going to be in the same room as any of those liquid nightmares…" She whispers in disgust to Sam.

"Why do you think I'm going?" Sam responded with a flat tone.

Meanwhile, at the Hospital

Having reunited with Frostbite, Jack and Maddie were brought to a hospital he took her to once it was clear that there was little the military forces could do.

Maddie asked for her sister, whom she gave a description of, as they brought her and Jack to a room where Alicia was sound asleep on her stomach.

"Did they… do the thing? The human needlepoint?" Jack asks.

"If you mean stitching her up, zhen yes. Zhat said… she is to remain on her belly for several more 'ours." The nurse told them.

"Can we… go in?" Maddie asks.

"Normally, we would leave her to rest… but because you are family… and she was asked to ask for her sister… I will make an exception but just zhis once." The nurse said as she opened the door.

"Thank you..."Maddie said.

The two were led inside.

"There she is..." Jack said.

Once the nurse left, Maddie approached her sister.

"Alicia?" Maddie asks, hoping to wake her up.

Alicia turned her head to the side, silent as the darkness.

Maddie sighed, she loved her sister but boundaries were pushed and the situation had become grim. Even with all her experience fighting both the natural and the supernatural, Alicia's stubbornness was just difficult, even in her sleep.

"Try again." Jack said.

"Alicia…" Maddie repeated. She hoped her voice could cut through the state of unconsciousness, and maybe get through her sister's thicker-than-steel skull.

"Ughh…" Alicia went, finally opening her eyes. "Maddie?" She asks. "Am I in-" She then saw Jack standing next to Maddie, causing Alica to roll her eyes. "Nope, I'm where all the Hackfords, save for your son's would-be Juliet, kept saying I belong…"

"A hospital in France?" Jack asks absentmindedly.

"... yeah, sure." Alicia said, knowing she shouldn't say it right now with Maddie present.

Her sister could guess what she must be thinking, but decided to focus on other matters.

"I'm… glad you're… alright." Maddie said with a small smile.

"Let me guess…" Alicia pushed herself up. "Yer gonna forgive me, saying how we're family and—"

"No!" The words came out faster than ever. Maddie could not believe she said that, but it was the truth. "I…I can't say that…not after what you've done…"

Alicia lowered herself back down, dropping her arms, along with whatever mentality she had on her.

"Oh…"

"Honesty, Alicia. I've tried my best to mediate things—yes, because you're my sister—but honestly." Maddie looked her sister square in the eye. "After everything, while I'm thankful for what you did and worry for you… all it's convinced me… is to give you a chance!"

"Pardon?" Alicia asks, seeing a sign that hope.

"You get one chance, just one, to prove to me you can make a change. For starters… never say nice things about Vlad Masters to me… or ever." Maddie said.

Alicia groaned before nodding.

"Okay…" She said.

"And second-" Maddie went before the nurse knocked on the door.

"Pardonne-moi. I am afraid zhat you are out of time. Ze doctor will be making his rounds soon." She said.

Maddie sighed bitterly as she looked at her sister.

"We'll go over this later… for now… get some rest." Maddie said without a hint of sisterly concern.

As she walked out of the room, Alicia and Jack shared a silent staring contest of contempt before Jack broke the silence.

"Just so you know, I'm the last person to want this, but for my wife's sake… I hope you two do fix things." He said.

That caught Alicia by surprise.

"Wait… really?" She asks.

"Shockingly, yes." Jack said, surprising even himself as he started to walk out the door. "I personally don't think you could ever change… but feel free to prove me wrong." He said as the door closed.

As she was alone once more, Alicia realized she was under covers, no doubt hiding the damage to her back. She took a bitter sigh as she closed her eyes again.

"I can change… I gotta… for her…" She whispered before yawning, and then she fell back to sleep.

At the Hotel

Sam and Jazz were downstairs in the lobby, having finished their breakfast on the go and left their plates at the door of another, figuring the staff would take them.

"So, outside of French Halloween last night, did anything else happen while you were here?" Sam asked out of curiosity.

"Huh… now that you mention it… something else. What was it?" Jazz asks, putting a finger under her chin.

"Sam?" A familiar voice was heard.

"Manson?" A second familiar voice was heard.

Sam turned around and saw Star and Kwan standing some feet away.

"What are you two doing here?" Sam asked, though she sent a dirty look at Star.

"Nice to see you too, Manson..." Star said sarcastically.

"Like she said..." Kwan said, not getting her tone.

"Well, Paris is looking less wonderful right now..." Sam muttered.

"Anyway, why are you here?" Kwan asked, surprised to see her here.

"We couldn't stay in the room..." Jazz answered.

"I was talking to Sam about why she's here." Kwan responded.

"Oh, uh…" Sam tried to think, having realized she never came up with a convincing cover story. "I… am… here… with Tucker… too." Sam said.

"So soon? And without your parents? Didn't think you'd be that irresponsible…" Star commented as she held up a bottle of water and sipped from it.

"Yeah… still… who HASN'T used their parents' money to take a trip behind their backs, right?" Sam went with a nervous smile.

Both Star and Kwan shared a look.

"I guess she's not wrong…" Kwan said.

"Heh… yeah… so… later!" Sam went, hurrying off.

Jazz, seeing she's left alone, laughed nervously as she walked away.

Once they were gone, both Star and Kwan shared another look, one of suspicion and one of confusion.

"That must've been one heck of a fast plane." Kwan said.

"I'm pretty sure they just came at the same time as the Fentons." Star reasoned before looking around. "I wonder where he is…"

"Who? Fenton?" Kwan asks.

"No, Godzilla." Star responded in a snarky way.

"Huh… I think he'd be too big to fit in here." Kwan reasoned without realizing her sarcasm.

As Jazz went to the stairs to get back to her room, someone whispered to her.

"Danny's sister?" This woman's voice went, coming from up the first row.

That's when Marie Antoinette's ghost phased through the stairs, much to Jazz's surprise.

"Huh?" Jazz went.

After Breakfast

Sam knocked on the door before Danny opened the door for her. Sam then came barging in as Danny pulled back.

"Danny! We got a serious problem!" Sam went. "Star and Kwan are here!"

"I know." Danny said with a flat tone.

Sam remained quiet a moment before what Danny said registered in her mind.

"Really? You tell me this now?" She asks with her hands on her hips.

"We were dealing with Monster Marmaduke last night… forgive me for thinking them being here wasn't a big issue." Danny responded flatly.

"Fair enough…" Sam said with an eyeroll.

"So… wanna stick around?" Danny asks.

Sam looked inside, seeing Tucker and Danielle slurping shakes of some kind. It made her gag.

"No thanks… if I gotta be here, I'd rather see sights more appealing than the inside of this hotel room." Sam said with a bored and grossed out look on her face before turning around and heading downstairs.

Danny looked to see Tucker finishing his drink.

"You should go with her. Strength in numbers and it'll be easier to find you if you're together." Danny said.

"And I can meet some French babes!" Tucker went with a grin as he got up and left.

He then closed the door before using his breath spray.

The door closed as the two Phantoms in human form were about to figure out what to do when the door opened again.

"Danny!" Jazz went, getting inside. "We got a problem!" She said urgently as her eyes briefly drifted to Danielle sipping a drink. "Marie came… an-" She quickly noticed the plates behind them were emptied and quickly became disapproving. "How many of those has she had?" She questioned in an overprotective manner.

"Long enough to know that chocolate, cheese and bacon are three great tastes that don't necessarily go great together…" Danielle said, looking down at her drink with a neutral expression.

"Yeah, it's hard to make three ingredients work." Danny said with a small smile before he let out a small burp. "So, what'd you need, Jazz?"

Before she could speak up, both the Phantoms' ghost senses went off.

"I was gonna say Marie needs our help, but your built-in sensors picked up her presence." Jazz responded.

With that, Marie turned visible before them.

"Wonderful… you are here. I need your help…" Marie said.

Downstairs

Sam and Tucker were outside. They looked at a brochure for where they could go.

"Let's see… can we go to the Eiffel tower or the Louvre?" Sam asks.

"Any place for total babes?" Tucker asks.

"Yeah… your dreams." Sam snarked.

''Funny..."Tucker said sarcastically.

"Guys?" Danny asks, getting their attention as he came downstairs.

"Sup?" Tucker asks.

"Marie is asking for help. Do you guys wanna join?" Danny asks, gesturing upstairs.

"Well… as amazing as it is to get to spend time with a famous woman in history… not happening. I really wanna check out the Louvre." Sam said.

"And I wanna meet some living ladies." Tucker went before noticing someone approaching them. "Speaking of…" He went with an intrigued look on his face.

"Danny?" A fancy sounding voice was heard.

Danny turned his head and smiled.

"Chloe?" He said.

"Greetings, Danny..." Chloe said, smiling shyly at him.

"Good to see you too..." Danny said, trying to sound casual.

As Chloe smiled bashfully, Sam cleared her throat loudly.

"Uh, Danny? Who is this?" Sam asks, gesturing to Chloe with a rather territorial look on her face.

"And is she into guys who also wear berets?" Tucker asks eagerly before Sam smacked him behind his head.

"Right. This is Chloe Garnier, a new… friend I've made here." Danny said, unsure how to properly describe her at the moment.

"Oh… Friend. I see…" Sam said with her arms crossed.

"Chloe, these are Sam and Tucker." Danny said.

"Ah, the best friend and the ex you mentioned." Chloe said in recollection to their breakfast yesterday. "I did not think I'd get to meet them."

"Neither did I…" Danny said with a nervous chuckle.

Tucker then pushed his way to get closer to Chloe.

"So… Chloe, right? Care to show me around? Maybe grab a bite together?" He asks in an attempt to flirt with her.

"Ahh… Danny warned me you have a habit of flirting with any girl you see. So...how do I say this in American? No..." Chloe said quickly and bluntly, shooting him down instantly.

Tucker pouted as Sam chuckled.

"Okay… I don't hate her as much as I thought I would…" Sam admitted. "So… let me get Tucker out of your hair and away from your fake accent." She said before yanking Tucker by the bag and pulling him away.

As she pulled away Tucker, who wordlessly begged Chloe to give him a chance, Danny watched with mild embarrassment before they left.

"Sorry. So, what's up, Chloe?" He asks.

Chloe was about to speak up before she recalled what her mentor told her.

"Oh, nothing special..." She said, trying to sound like she wasn't excited to speak to him again.

"You okay?" Danny asks, noticing her tone.

"Y-Yes." Chloe went before clearing her throat loudly and trying to act proper. "I just came to let you know that… for a variety of reasons, I will have to revoke my invitation to the stage at the Palais Garnier."

"Huh?" Danny went.

"Apologies, but my mentor said I am unable to invite others as invitations are… limited." She said, trying to sound aloof.

"Well, that's fine. I don't think we'll have time in any case." Danny said.

"So, you're not upset?" Chloe asks.

"No. I get it… you got yourself a full house." Danny said.

"I… see… Well, glad to let you know, ta-ta." Chloe said before turning around and attempting to leave.

"Hey, so…" Danny caught her attention. "Maybe… when it's done, we can probably… hang out? You, me, my sisters and friends? I bet-"

"I will be busy… sorry…" Chloe said quickly before running off fast.

Danny was momentarily confused by her sudden attitude before shrugging and deciding he had somewhere else to be.

"I better speak with Marie." Danny said.

As soon as he left, Chloe watched from over her shoulder, looking disappointed.

"Chloe?" A familiar voice spoke to her.

Chloe looked up and saw her mentor was watching her.

"Oui?" Chloe asks.

"Good of you to know you have better things to do. Now… get back to work." Madame Dubois ordered harshly as she pointed away.

"Yes, of course…" Chloe said sadly as she headed towards the doors, saddened by how she had to do as ordered.

"And remember, Chloe…" Dubois called out. "Success cannot come without change!"

"Of course…" Chloe said with a depressed look on her face.

Meanwhile

Lieutenant Larissa "Edge" Headly waited at the damaged chalet they were using as a campsite. She was in what was once the living room when one soldier approached her.

"Well?" She questioned.

"We found no sign of Williamson. But we did find the search party." He said to her.

"And?" She asks.

The soldier showed her what was on his phone, causing her to flinch in disgust.

"That monster found them first… and we found the skeleton of that giant ape you mentioned. His bones barely had a scrap of meat or a drop of blood, suggesting that thing had his meal fast and left a while ago. But there's more… we located… what was left of a man and his bodyguards on the road. Skid Marks suggest a limousine was there and it's possible the monster used it to hijack a ride." The soldier continued.

"Considering that thing's been dead for over 200 years, I doubt it learned how to drive here or in the afterlife…" Larissa reasoned. "We'll have to assume it's holding the driver hostage. Any idea where he's going?"

"We found the wallet of the… ahem… former owner. We ran background checks and found he's among many invited to a performance in France at the Palais Garnier." The soldier responded.

"Shouldn't be too hard to find a big mangy mutt…" Larissa said, figuring this would be easy.

"Isn't it a werewolf though?" A second soldier outside asks. Seeing eyes on him, he shrunk back. "Oh, apologies for intruding…"

"No… say it again." Larissa ordered.

"Oh… umm… you mentioned that thing could talk in at least 4 different languages and that what stories I read suggested it was a werewolf. So… if it's anything like those in the movies, maybe it has a human form?" He suggests.

Upon hearing that, the blonde woman cupped her chin in thought.

"How long did you find the bodies?" She asks.

"About an hour ago… we don't know when it… happened." The soldier answered.

"Paris is at least 6 hours away by car and that's where Palais Garnier is. We'll have to assume that thing has a human form… and since he's been dead for over 200 years, we don't know what it looks like… Which means… we'll need someone good at tracking people he's never met before…" She looked into what was used as the master bedroom of the chalet. "Like a bounty hunter…"

In no time, she opened the door with enough force to almost break it off the hinges.

There, sitting while tied up, was the target they originally came for. Razor.

"About time, Luv! If you're gonna throw me in a cell, do it now! At least a cell has a toilet…" He complained.

"Good news, lowlife… I have a target for you…" Larissa said with much edge in her voice.

Razor raised an eyebrow in interest.

Back in Paris

Sam and Tucker arrived at the Louvre.

"May as well take advantage of being here…" Sam said with a smile. "Once we go in, we have to see stuff like the Mona Lisa or Venus De Milo, maybe even The Thinker."

"I have never seen such amazing works of pure beauty…" Tucker said from behind her back. Sam turned around, thinking he's coming around until seeing what he's actually talking about. "French babes!" He went with a big grin at seeing two girls, one a blonde with short hair, the other a redhead with long hair, walking past him while paying him no mind.

Sam scowled at this before clearing her throat.

"Tucker… shouldn't you take this opportunity to go inside the Louvre?" She suggests.

"Eh… I've seen it on my TV and saw a recreation of it in VR." He dismissed as he went to make a move on the two who passed. "Excuse me, ladies!"

"Moron..." Sam muttered.

As Sam was now left alone, someone who spotted her decided to make a move.

"Bonjour, mademoiselle..." A young man's voice was heard.

Sam saw a tall, French boy who seemed to be around her age, maybe a little older. He had curly brown hair, fair skin and squinted brown eyes, implying he might be half Asian. He wore a red shirt with a blue kerchief around the neck, along with white pants and black shoes.

"Uh… hi?" Sam went.

"Toutes mes excuses, mais je me demandais si ce garçon était votre petit-ami, mais son objectif beaucoup trop haut me dit le contraire." He said.

The Goth from Amity Park soured at his words.

"Sorry, I don't speak French..." Sam said, clearly understanding but pretending otherwise.

She was ready to leave but he cleared his throat loud enough to get her attention.

"Pardonnez-moi, mademoiselle. Your expression betrays you, I can tell you understood me..." He said in a heavy French accent.

"You speak English?" Sam asked in surprise.

"Oui. I am called Alain, Alain Bai-Chauvin..." He said. "And for zhe record, I am fully aware of zhe irony of a young man with hair like mine whose last name means bald in French."

"I'm Sam, Sam Manson..." She said, raising an eyebrow.

"So… Sam? I take it from your accent you are from America?" He asks.

"No, I'm from Germany. Can't you understand my thick German accent?" Sam snarked.

To her surprise, Alain laughed at this.

"You'd be surprised how refreshing your attitude is. Let me guess… obnoxious parents who drive you into a Goth mentality as a means of obtaining individuality and emotional freedom?" He asks knowingly.

"Uh… y-yeah." Sam admitted.

"Well… fortunately for you… I'm nice enough for them to like, and open minded enough to get to know you. Also, I couldn't help but notice your… friend?" Alain gestures towards Tucker, who was walking back with a visible handprint on his face.

"So… we should go before the cops show up." Tucker said, nursing his face with a bummed look on his face.

"Ugh…" Sam went.

"As I was saying, I noticed you two are sight-seeing. Have you seen the Palais Garnier?" He asks.

"Not yet." Sam said.

"You are in luck, I am working there. Perhaps you two would like to… sight-see it?" He asks, winking at Sam. "Maybe a backstage look?"

Although he seems like a genuinely good person, Sam couldn't help but think of someone she was fooled by. Because of it, she became wary.

"Uh… I don't know… Alain, you seem like a nice guy and all… but I-" Sam said but was cut off.

"Let's take it!" Tucker went as he saw the girls talking to what looked like a French police officer. "Palace Garner, right?" He asks quickly, afraid to get arrested.

"Palai-" Alain went before Tucker ran for it.

"Sure! I got the map on my PDA! Meet you there!" Tucker went before running for it.

Alain blinked in surprise before his eyes drifted to Sam.

"Your friend seems… spirited…" He said.

"At least he's getting exercise…" Sam went before shrugging. "Well, guess we're going to Palais Garnier…"

Meanwhile, at the Palais Garnier

A beautiful, historic opera house. The Opera Garnier was built from 1861 to 1875 for the Paris Opera.

This is where the show will be performed, but that is not why four people were here.

On one of the rooftops of this building were four figures, one a ghost, two half, the last a full human.

"Marie? Why are we here?" Danny asks.

"After I di-" Marie stopped, realizing how dark it would be to make light of that. "When I became a ghost… my spirit was entrusted by a group of those who… well, turned a man into the Beast." She explained.

"Excuse me?" Jazz asks.

"I never knew the man's name… only that they turned a man into a monster. Most of them wanted to bring him back to life… then there are those who knew such a monster was too much to handle and there was infighting. Guess who won?" Marie asks.

"And… I'm guessing they're the ones who buried the chests?" Danny asks.

"Indeed. But one of the books had secrets they were afraid to find… so they entrusted it to me." She explained.

"You left it here?" Dani asks.

"Technically… I hid it here." Marie phased her hand through the tiling on the side, pulling a book out.

"What's so special about the book?" Danny asks.

"It contained a potion they wanted to make… one that had the possibility of making the Beast… stronger." Marie said cryptically.

"And you hid it so that no one could use it for evil? Why didn't you just tear it?" Dani asks.

"It also has a backup plan in case someone resurrected the Beast…" Marie explained before putting the book back. "I just wanted to show you it was here… in case that thing came looking for it." Marie said.

"Would he know about it?" Danny asks.

"I'm going with the assumption he does." Marie said.

"And I'm guessing you want our help in protecting it in case Poochy comes looking for it?" Danny asks.

"Indeed." Marie said.

"Well, you can count on us." Danny said.

"That's a problem... you see, there's going to be a show tonight. If the Beast finds his way here tonight... there is no telling what he might try to do. I'm going to ask for your help in protecting this book and the people inside the building." Marie said.

"Why not relocate the book?" Jazz asks.

"Long story short... There's a spell surrounding the Palais, one that keeps the book here until it finally has a spell from it used. So, I can't..." Marie said.

"Can't you break the spell?" Danny asks.

"I didn't cast it, nor do I know magic. So no." Marie responded.

''Then who did?" Jazz asked.

"A name I have forgotten ages ago. Someone who is no longer among the living...and no, I have no way of contacting their spirit..." Marie added.

"Okay, Marie. We're on it..." Danny said

"Good news, at least one of us has a sure way of getting inside without getting in trouble..." Jazz said, recalling Chloe invited Danny to the show.

Danny then recalled something.

"Yeah...uh...about that..." Danny said.

"Aw nuts, what now?" Dani asked

"I ran into Chloe earlier. She said that they didn't have anymore available seats, so she took back my invitation..." Danny explained.

"What? Really?" Jazz asked, surprised.

"Yeah, afraid so..." Danny said with a nod.

"Geez, I'm starting to like your new girlfriend even less than the one from Canada or Kentucky..." Dani muttered.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Danny said, irritated by her words.

"Which one?" Jazz asks as she and Dani looked amused by his anger.

"All three!" Danny snapped as they giggled.

"Well, she might be downstairs. I know they're setting up for the show tonight. You could ask her to reconsider revoking if it's just you?" Marie asks.

"That's a good idea." Danny said.

Inside the Palais Garnier

The three Fenton siblings entered the Palais Garnier and, as they headed to where the main stage room was. As they did, Jazz couldn't help but admire the historic opera house as they went up the iconic staircase.

"If only there wasn't a killer werewolf brought back to life… I'd totally love it here." She said, admiring the interior.

"Cool. Do they got a snack shop?" Danielle asks.

"This isn't a movie theater, Sis." Danny said with a smile.

The little girl pouted when Jazz spotted someone up ahead. A police officer.

"Uh oh… there's a cop here. If he finds out we snuck in…" Jazz started, stopping in place out of fear.

Before they knew it, that officer spotted them. The three froze in place before he approached them. As he got closer, Danny's eyes squinted in recognition.

"Does he look familiar?" He asks.

"Yeah…" Danielle went. "He looks like-"

"Aren't you three Alicia's nieces and nephew?" He asked.

"Y-Yeah?" Danny went.

"Wait… aren't you the guy from yesterday?" Danielle asks.

"I'm Henri… Henri Hernandez." He responded as he tipped his hat in a friendly manner.

The three shared a look of uncertainty before introducing themselves.

"I'm Danny Fenton. These are my sisters, Jazz and Danielle…" He said, gesturing to each sister as he named them.

"Uh… did someone steal from here or something?" Danielle asks.

"Oh no…" Henri said with an amused smile. "I just came to see my wife at work."

"Your wife?" Jazz asks. "She's working on this stage production?"

"You could say that…" He said.

"Also… why do you not have a French accent?" Danielle points out as she points to his face.

"That's because I'm from LA." He responded. "I joined the force when my wife and I moved here, as she's from around here."

"Oh… I see…" Danny went, wondering if he's going to arrest them if he finds out why they're here.

"So, why are you here?" Henri asks.

"Uh…" Danny went, sweating a bit.

"Henri!" A lovely woman's voice called out to them.

They saw he was being called out to by a beautiful woman.

She had blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a lovely white dress that was part of the show.

"Ah… excuse me…" Henri said as he walked towards the woman who called out to him.

"Who is that lady he is talking to?" Danielle asked.

Jazz gasped loudly, getting their attention.

"Oh my gosh, it's Alexandra Auclair..." Jazz said, excited to see her.

"Who?" Danny asked.

"She's a famous French actress who stars in both stage shows and a few indie films in LA and Quebec..." Jazz explained.

"And… that's his wife? But his last name is Hernandez?" Danielle points out.

"She uses her maiden name when she works." Jazz explained as she eagerly wanted to approach before Danny raised his arm to stop her.

"We gotta talk to Chloe, remember?" He asks.

"Correction, you are supposed to talk to her." Jazz responded as she walked around his arm and headed towards Alexandra.

"I'll stop her from getting us kicked out so soon." Danielle went as she hurried to stop Jazz from embarrassing herself.

Danny shook his head as he continued to look for Chloe.

He made it to the auditorium, only to realize he was on the third floor, looking down to see the stage had been in the process of starting the show.

He could see all the actors and stage crew getting ready for their respective roles.

He also saw two familiar figures.

"Sam? Tucker?" He asks.

"Toi là!" Danny heard someone call out from afar.

He saw a security guard spotted him. Thinking fast, Danny ran to hid behind some seats.

"I know he's doing his job, but still…" Danny said as he turned intangible and went through the floor before the guard arrived.

"Que diable?!" The guard said, seeing Danny gone.

Once he made it to the right floor, Danny turned tangible again as he headed towards the stage.

"Sam? Tucker?" Danny asks, getting their attention.

"Danny." Sam said, smiling to see him.

Danny then noticed a new figure with them.

"Ah, this is the ex who is also a best friend." Alain said, bowing to Danny with a smile.

"Uh… who are you?" Danny asks.

"This is Alain, he's working on this stage production of Beauty and the Beast." Sam said.

"I am a part of zhe lighting crew." Alain said before making a flirty smile at Sam. "And I have at least 2 open seats for Sam and a guest of her choosing…" He said.

Sam blushed a bit as Danny raised an eyebrow.

"Uh… I'm… flattered Alain… but I'm not really interested in… dating… right now." She said.

"It is fine…" Alain said with a surprisingly accepting smile. "Still… my offer still stands."

"I'll think about it." Sam said.

That's when Danny noticed what he said.

"Wait… I thought you guys were sold out?" Danny asks.

"Who said that?" Alain asks.

Before Danny could respond, someone else spotted him.

"Danny?" Chloe's voice was heard.

The four looked to Danny's right, seeing Chloe had just approached them. Her face a mixture of pleasant surprise and upset.

"Chloe, just the girl I was looking for." Danny said with a smile.

"Chloe?" Alain questioned, getting her attention.

"Alain?" She asks, eyebrow raised before seeing Sam was closest to him. "Ah, another skirt to chase?" She commented with a voice filled with disdain.

"One who clearly isn't faking anything." Alain said in a disapproving manner.

"I beg your pardon, but I am not faking anything." Chloe stated with an angered look on her face. "You're just upset I said no to a date."

"On the contrary, I respect your choice in men closer to home… just how you present yourself." Alain said with arms crossed. "But that aside… you know each other?" He asks, gesturing to her and Danny's group.

"We've met." Danny said before directing his attention to Chloe. "Actually, I was hoping to ask if you could at least let me take a seat here."

"I am sorry, but I already said that we are booked." Chloe said.

"No, we're not." Alain said abruptly, making Chloe flinch at him exposing her lie. "This place has enough people for over a thousand, we still have enough for less than a hundred."

Chloe, eyes widened, stepped back.

"Oh, we do? Well, that's not what I was told…" She said with a nervous laugh.

"Don't tell me that bitter old bat told you to say that?" Alain said with an eyebrow raised.

"Don't say that about Madam Dubois." Chloe went protectively.

"Why not?" Alain said with a smug smile on his face.

Before Chloe could argue, her mentor spotted her from afar.

"Chloe!" Dubois shouted, getting her attention. "I told you to take care of the costume alterations! And what is… that boy doing here?" Dubois questioned further as she walked closer and gestured to Danny.

"Uh… hi." Danny went. "I'm Da-"

"Speak when spoken to." Dubois cut him off rudely before glaring down at Chloe. "I told you that you have much to do, and no time for boys."

"Oui, madam." Chloe said with a nod and a sad look on her face.

"Now… get back to work." She ordered before taking off.

Chloe sighed sadly before looking at Danny in a very regretful manner.

"I'm truly sorry…" She said before following her mentor.

As soon as she left, Alain sighed sadly.

"Poor girl… she's pretty, she's got a good head on her shoulders… but she's too keen to listen to zhat old bird." He said.

That caught the three's attention.

"What do you mean?" Danny asks.

"Dubois is a woman who prioritizes her career over all else. She has no children, nor does she have much family to connect with. She's too fixated on her career and is known to be hard to please. Zhe fact zhat Chloe was the girl she chose would be a testament to her skills as a fashion designer… but she chose someone who wants to mold her into another her as a means of zhat letter of recommendation." Alain said.

"She sounds… difficult." Sam stated.

"You're not wrong." Alain said. "Chloe's desperate to change to fit zhat woman's standards… regardless of the negativity it could bring to her life." He shook his head in disapproval.

Before Danny could speak up, someone spotted him.

"AHA! Et voilà, petit intrus!" The security guard that spotted Danny before marching over.

"Aw crud." Danny muttered.

Before he could make a break for it, Alain raised his arm.

"Tout va bien, Félix. J'ai invité ces trois-là." He said, causing the security guard to stop in his tracks and groan before walking away. "I just got Felix off your back." He tells Danny.

"Really? But you just met me and invited these two." Danny went, gesturing to Sam and Tucker.

"Any friend of Sam's, or even of Chloe's, is okay with me." Alain said with a wink and a smile.

"Really? Heh… thanks." Danny went.

"Not a problem. Zhat said… I will have to get back to work soon. We open for our show tonight at 7 tonight. If you change your mind, Sam, feel free to come at 6:30. In the meantime, it's almost d I know a pleasant cafe down the street that you all may like. Tell them Alain recommended it." He said, giving them a thumb's up before walking away.

Once he did, the three shared a look.

"So, did you come all this way to talk with Chloe?" Sam questioned.

"To talk about my strong points and why she should go out with me?" Tucker asks with a grin, only for Sam to pull his beret over his eyes. "Hey!"

"Actually…" Danny looked around to make sure no one was listening to them before answering them. "Marie is asking for help on something… and we might need Alain's invite so we could keep an eye out for trouble."

Sam and Tucker listened in as they processed what they just heard.

Elsewhere

Razor, now freed from the restraints, rubbed his wrists as he looked at Larissa. The two were in the back of a chopper that was on route to Paris.

"So.. you want me to find this werewolf in his human form?" He asks.

"You've got the skills to track a man who you've never met before, so as much as I don't want to admit it… I need you." She said with gritted teeth.

"Like old times, ey Luv?" He asks with a flirty smile.

"I only need you to find that thing… that's all." She said sharply.

"It's funny how you think being threatening is gonna make me less fond of you." He responded before straightening himself out. "So… you say he was in a limousine?"

"Yes. We're going with the idea that he must have a human form and he's going to Paris. He should be 2 hours away at this point…" Larissa said.

"Why would he go there?" Razor questioned.

"A new place to start a kill streak? The fact that we communicated with the French government, under the white lie that it's a wanted criminal and not a monster, to keep an eye on their roads and no sign of a limousine that's off road means he's waiting until he gets closer. As soon as you're out, your job is to find someone wearing clothes like the man in this photo." Larissa shows him the photo of the snooty rich man.

"And that's all I got to find him?" He asks.

"Well… we don't have any idea what he looks like. Good chance he might look disheveled or the like. However, he likely had the invitation to this stage production, so check around the Palais Garnier." She said.

"And when we find him, then what?" He asks.

"We shoot that thing until he can't heal anymore." Larissa responded flatly.

"I see your plans are as clever as ever." He mused before a thought came to him. "So… that thing seems to heal from virtually everything thrown at him, right?"

"Yeah, from what we got from what we saw last night." Larissa responded.

"Even bullets…" Razor pointed out.

"Yeah, and...?" Larissa impatiently asks.

"So… how'd he die in the first place?" Razor questions out of genuine curiosity.

That caused Larissa's hardened expression to soften from actual confusion.

"That's… a good question…" She said, scratching her chin in thought.

Back to Danny and his friends

The three left the opera room already, with Danny finishing up what he was telling them.

"So, I think that Alain's invitation might be what we need. That way, if the Beast does show up for the book, we'll be ready to save people." Danny said.

"I see… I guess being in the crowd is helpful for once as it means we'll be ready and keeping an eye on at least most of the audience." Sam said.

"Can't you just watch the place while invisible?" Tucker asks.

"I did, but Marie insists I should at least be invited in by the people who actually work here. She has a lot of respect for this place." Danny said.

"As she should…" Sam said with a nod.

"Besides, she figures the Beast will have a human form, so if we can find him before that, it'll be easier." Danny said. "Granted, she has no idea what he looked like… but I think she suggested asking Frostbite for an idea."

"Where exactly is he?" Sam asks.

"Good question…" Danny said. "Maybe we-"

"Thank you!" Jazz was heard going with a happy voice. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"Oh right… I forgot about her." Danny muttered.

They soon saw Danny's sisters, who were walking away from Alexandra, someone Sam recognized.

"Isn't that Alexandra Auclair?" She asks eagerly.

"You know who that is?" Danny asks.

"My parents made me take that trip to Quebec to see the show. I hated it but she played a wonderful Lady MacBeth…" Sam responded as she sped up to speak with her.

That's when Jazz and Danielle, the former more childishly happy than the latter, met up with the boys.

"Jazz, what's up?" Danny asked.

"I got a chance to meet Alexandra Auclar..." Jazz said excitedly.

As Jazz fidgeted excitedly, Danielle recalled what they were here for.

"Did your girlfriend say yes?" She asks Danny.

"Again, not my girlfriend and no. But, we might have a different way to be here." Danny said.

Sam then approached the rest of the group.

"She's even cooler than I imagined… for a regular person." Sam said.

She's so obviously not as hardcore Goth as she likes to think she is... Danny thought.

"So, you kids did what you needed to do?" Henri asks as he approached them.

"Uh… yeah." Danny said.

"We're going off to… someplace to eat." Sam went, naturally uncomfortable when around a police officer.

"There's a café that a boy like Alain recommends constantly." Henri said.

That caught their attention.

"You know Alain?" Sam asks.

"He works with lighting, since the manager is his uncle. He's also a big fan of my wife's. I don't mind coming along with you guys if you'd like." Henri said.

Sam wanted to politely decline, but Danny spoke up.

"Sure." Danny said.

All of them, with Sam mildly annoyed, go to the café.

At the café

With officer Henri Hernandez joining them, they sat inside the café at a corner, where few were sitting with them.

All of them got their meals as they were still talking.

"So, Alicia's in the hospital after some animal attack?" He asks.

"Yeah." Danny said, looking unsure what to say properly. "She… tried to do some hunting and had a nasty encounter with...a wolf. A big nasty one she provoked and it slashed her in the back..."

"That sounds like something she'd do." Henri said. "Ever since her little "trip" here, we keep running into her causing trouble."

"That sounds like something she'd do." Jazz muttered.

As they kept silent about what actually happened, it was then that the tech geek of the group noticed something.

"So… you don't sound like you're from around here." Tucker said.

"Good of you to notice. I was born in the states, Southern California to be precise. Father was from Mexico…" He pronounces it as Me-Hee-Co. "... mother was from Spain." Henri explains.

"So, how did you and your wife meet?" Danielle asked.

"Well, it happened 10 years ago. I was working as a security guard at the time and Alexandra was in LA for an indie film and I was among the staff..." He explained.

"And how'd you two hook up?" Danny asks.

"Well… normally, security guards don't speak with the film stars. However, one day, she was lost and I helped her out. She was grateful enough that we started talking and, one day, she was the one who asked if I was seeing anyone. I was that shy with women. We dated, kept in touch and, 2 years later, we married." Henri explains as he sips his coffee.

"How romantic…" Jazz gushed.

"So, any kids?" Danielle.

"Yes...we have a boy named Miguel back home and we are currently expecting another one..." Henri said.

"Congratulations..." Jazz said.

"If a boy, we're naming him after my brother, Hector. If a girl, we'll use the name we almost went with if Miguel were a girl, Maria." He explained.

''Cool, I bet they'll grow up great to have a dad like you..." Danielle said.

"Where is your son? Is he here?" Danny asks.

"No… he's back home with my mother. We decided that, once this show is over, we're moving back to the states. We sent him there to get ready for school in the fall. We had homeschooled him for a while and, well, Lexi and I decided it was time he made some friends." Henri said.

"Lexi?" Sam asks.

"It's what I call Alexandra." Henri explained with a satisfied smile on her face. "Ah, the first week of our marriage was a time we'll never forget…"

''Why?" Danielle asked naively.

"It was a week in Cancun. Let's just say our son is practically a souvenir..." Henri said.

"Sounds like a week full of surprises." Danny said.

"About as surprising as the week you saved us from an asteroid." Henri said quickly.

"Yeah, I guess so. So, I guess tha-" Danny's smile dropped as his voice lowered before he ceased speaking.

All 5 of them slowly drifted their eyes towards Henri.

"What did you just say?" Jazz asks.

"I said "About as surprising as the week you saved us from an asteroid", as I told young Mr. Phantom." Henri said quickly and with a knowing smile.

All of them, save for one, went silent.

"Wait, you know about-" Danielle started.

"That your brother is the ghost kid and saved the world? Yes, I know..." Henri said.

All of them stared slack jawed as Henri looked calm about it, and how he said this so casually.

"How?" All of them asked in unison.

"I was at the North pole as I was working security on behalf of the French Government, if only because the ambassador is a fan of my wife's work..." Henri explained. "So… I take it you're not just here for a vacation, right?"

Seeing as he already knew, the ghost boy shook his head and decided to just be upfront..

"Well… do you know about… the Beast of Gevaudan?" Danny asks.

"La Bête du Gévaudan? I am familiar with the story." He said.

"It's not a story… To make a long story short, that thing is alive again and is what put my aunt in a hospital. He's probably on his way here. That's why I went to see Chloe, to have her let me in in case that thing shows up in human form because he wants something hidden there." Danny explained.

Henri nodded.

"I see. Sadly, my wife and I can't help you get in… but I can keep an eye out for suspicious men. I am taking the night off to see her perform." Henri said.

"It's cool, we're gonna use Alain being into Sam to try and get into two seats." Tucker said without a hint of irony before Sam ribbed him for it.

"In any case… any help would be fine." Danny said.

"Since we are all working on this, can I get to pay a visit to my son when we're all back stateside? He is a huge fan..." Henri said.

"Oh, sure..." Danny said.

With that, the group began to fill Henri in on other things. Having someone else involved could be beneficial for them.

Once the meal was done, all of them left the café. Danny waved to Henri as they headed back to the hotel.

"So… I guess you and Tucker will go to take up the seats Alain is offering." Danny said.

"Huh?" Sam went.

"What do you mean?" Tucker asks.

"Aren't you gonna sit with me since you're the one Marie asked help for?" Sam asks.

"I feel like since he knows Sam and I used to date, he'll be uncomfortable about it. So, I should remain unseen." Danny explained.

"That's pretty mature of you, not wanting to mess with Sam meeting other guys. Chloe should really recognize you're a better person to be around than her meanie boss." Danielle said with a smile, much to Jazz's amusement.

"I don't know about using his interest in me…" Sam said, not liking the idea.

"But Sam? You get to see a show in the Palace Garner." Tucker points out.

"First… it's Palais Garnier. Second… okay, I'll do it." Sam said, doing a 180 on the idea.

"I'll just stay outside and patrol the area. If the Beast makes a break for it… I'll step in." Danny said. "That way, we-"

Someone almost knocked into him before stepping back.

"Apologies…" A man with a purple tuxedo said.

"Huh… oh, sorry." Danny said, seeing this man with reddish brown hair that reached his neck and somewhat combed back, along with icy blue eyes, almost knocked into him.

"Out of curiosity… Do you know where I may find the Palais Garnier?" He asks.

"That way." Danny said, pointing down the street.

"Merci." He said with a nod before walking past Danny.

As he left, Danny looked back at the man, eyebrows raised.

"Wow… what's the hair?" Tucker asks.

"Yeah… nice color, but it's like his hair is against being combed." Danielle joked.

"I've never met anyone who needed those overpriced and environmentally unfriendly hair products so badly in my life… right, Danny?" Sam asks, getting no answer. "Danny?"

All of them noticed how oddly quiet Danny is.

"Danny?" Jazz asks.

"Does he seem… familiar?" Danny asks.

"What do you mean?" Jazz asks.

"Like… his voice was…" Danny shook his head. "Never mind…"

As they left, the man they encountered looked over his shoulder, watching them go with a rather sinister smile on his face.

At the hotel

The group entered the hotel.

"Okay… you two go in. The rest of us w-"

"Danny?" Star was heard, cutting off Danny.

"Huh?" He went as they saw Star approaching them.

"So… did you hear?" She asks him.

"Hear what?" Danny asks.

"My folks… invited you and your parents to join us for a show tonight. At the Palais Garnier. So… are you and your sisters joining us too?" She asks.

New chapter with aid of Flower Princess11 and BeConFuzzled Writer.

And... can you tell who I based the Frenchman on? I got FP11's permission to do it so... assume it's him.

Also, yes... this is where the story, and this series, gets darker.

RonaldM40196867: Well, it did split his personalities in half, so might not be a thing. I did do that. I believe so. Probably during the Disasteroid incident. Yes. Probably?

Invader Johnny: It did not end well.

Luiz4200: Pure coincidence.

Luffy is King: Probably space.

Daniel6: They're just soldiers, unconnected to what happened.

Aggregor: The theme is something else.
