Hospital Visit
In the city of Paris, a store that sold spices was closing. The owner was a middle aged woman, locking up as she glanced around her store, making sure everything was secure.
Her building was by a small apartment building, one that had been built decades ago and started to age.
"Quelle journée. Il est temps de rentrer chez moi." She said to herself.
As she walked towards her car, the sound of the window breaking caught her attention. She slowly turned her head, seeing a large, unnatural figure was now in her store.
She slowly walked closer to see, only to gasp. Her blood became cold as ice as she saw the Beast rummaging through the store, greedily grabbing items, getting into her car and slamming her foot on the pedal.
The Beast grinned maliciously, grabbing spices and taking it.
"J'ai plus qu'assez." He said as he took the container with sea salt, carrying it as he took some cumin and black pepper.
As he walked towards the window he broke, he heard the sounds of sirens. He laughed dismissively as he stepped out, only for a boot to his face from a sweeping kick.
"Pretty sure you don't have sufficient funds." Danny said as he and Dani landed in front, both readying to take him on.
"Plus, not sure where you plan to put it, you don't exactly have your cabin anymore." Dani snarked.
"I have some of zhe many ingredients I need… I don't have time to play… les petits. But… how will you have time for me… and save zhe les imbéciles sans valeur in the building next to us?" The Beast questioned with a big grin before, with his speed and free claw, he tore the entire wall of the apartment building, weakening the side enough to start cracking.
Those inside heard the loud noise and, looking out their windows, noticed the cracks were reaching them due to the weight and the apartment building's structural integrity being compromised.
"OH NO!" The two Phantoms went as pieces were starting to fall off.
"Get the people out! I'll give it some support!" Danny ordered.
"On it!" Dani said as she flew upward.
As she did this, Danny used his ice powers to fill in for the damage made by the Beast.
All the while, he didn't see where his target went.
"OH NON! Sauve-nous!" One woman called out.
"I have no idea what you're saying but hang tight!" Dani said as she flew in to carry the woman and her cat out.
As she did this, Danny turned his head, seeing the Beast was gone. Frustrated, he realized that their target took advantage of the situation and made a retreat.
The sirens came closer as they stopped. They were GIGN, an elite police unit in France. One truck had Larissa Headley inside. Stepping out, she saw what the two were doing. Namely, Dani carrying people out, now about 8 people saved, and Danny freezing the side of the building to fill up the cracks.
"Lemme guess? He did it?" She questioned as she approached Dani.
"You guessed right." She said before looking at Danny. "Only 12 rooms left!"
Danny nodded, stopping the ice as he took a breath.
"We can't let him… get away…" Danny said under his breath, his eyes narrowed.
The thought of this misanthropic monster running rampant filled him with fear and determination, fueling his desire to stop him. While it was mostly to protect the people of Paris, inside, he blamed himself for this.
This was the third time a dangerous threat was unleashed on the world because he made the Earth intangible to save it from an asteroid. His decision may have saved the Earth, but smaller and clearly more malicious dangers have been unleashed. And one of them was in Paris, making it his responsibility to make sure this Beast returns to a state of no life.
Looks like I need to make another exception… He thought bitterly about what he must do.
Elsewhere
The hospital was in a panic, filling up with many patients. People from the Palais and car crashes that occurred when the Beast made his way through the streets came, and everyone inside was scared, injured and on edge. Bandages were being administered, rooms were crowding, tears were being shed.
There, Star reunited with her parents, hugging them.
"We should get out of here…" She said.
"Can't…" Her father said. "The roads are all blocked due to what's going on and I have no idea when it stops.."
"This is a nightmare…" Stella said with a shake of her head. "You were right, Johnathan, we should have gone to Guam for a vacation instead."
"Too late for that." He said as he took a breath and shook his head. "Besides… I doubt anyone can get out, what with that… that thing that's still out there."
Star, hearing this, was silent as she nodded and walked away, going to Kwan.
"You won't tell them, won't you?" He asks.
"No duh." Star responds.
"So… what do we do?" Kwan asks.
"Nothing. Just hope that… werewolf or whatever it is gets caught and they get rid of it." Star said as she crossed her arms and looked away, feeling so many unpleasant things over the events of the night. "Now come on… let's at least see what the news is saying."
As Kwan followed her, they passed Chloe and Alain.
Chloe was pacing back and forth, looking rather distressed before Alain cleared his throat.
"Your teacher is going to live. She's just exhausted." He said.
"You say that and yet, I cannot allow myself to think the worst. I must remain here, to be certain she's alright." Chloe said, going back to the fake voice.
"Again? She's not even listening, you can just go and call your family and be back. I doubt she'll even care if you are here or not." Alain said to her.
"I cannot just do that. I have to stay here and be ready in case she needs me," Chloe insists as she reaches for her necklace, only to notice it missing. "Ah, yes… I gave it to Danny."
"Miss it?" Alain asked knowingly.
"N-No. I must put aside who I was so that my family and I can live a more comfortable life." Chloe insists.
"At the cost of actually being with them and your own identity." Alain pointed out.
"There's nothing wrong with what I've done to myself if it will make my life better…" Chloe insists harshly.
"Yeah, I'm sure your new boyfriend begs to differ." Alain said.
"Danny is not my boyfriend." Chloe snaps.
"He probably won't be your friend either… like I won't be after this." Alain snapped, giving her a disapproving scowl.
Chloe looked momentarily stunned and hurt before shaking her head.
"Whatever…" She said before Dubois burst out the door.
"Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! You had me waiting for so long?! Of course I'm fine!" She angrily snapped as she reached Chloe. "I see you finally rid yourself of that… little...trinket of yours." She gestures to Chloe's neck.
"Y-Yes…" Chloe awkwardly replied, trying hard not to show her true feelings.
"Come, we're leaving." Dubois ordered, already wanting to leave but the doctors stopped her.
"I'm afraid that's not possible." One of the hospital's doctors said as they walked by.
"What are you babbling about?" Dubois sneered, glaring at her.
"That… monster that attacked the Palais Garnier has been on a rampage. Citizens are being hospitalized. One man almost lost a leg when that thing threw his car upside down. As such, all citizens have been instructed to remain indoors until further notice, no vehicles save for the police and the military." The doctors said as she went to go aid another patient.
"Outrageous!" Dubois shouted before looking at Chloe in a demanding way. "Chloe! Find us a ride out of this crowded hovel!"
"B-but Madam? I...the monster is still out there and the doctor said that no one can leave. I do-"
"Letter of recommendation! I'll start the first paragraph if you do as you're told!" Dubois ordered.
"Oui…" Chloe said in defeat, head held down.
"Good… Remember, nothing wrong with changing who you are to make your life better… just as I did." Dubois said, a look of smug expression on her face before it contorted with a bossy glare. "Now go!"
Chloe walked away in defeat, hiding the expression of anger and dismay on her face as she went.
Alain watched her go, feeling pity and disappointment about her situation.
At the same time.
Alicia was wheeled back into the ER, stitching being applied.
"Be thankful you got here in time." The nurse said as he watched the doctor at work.
"Indeed…" The doctor said as she began to complain.
"I should be huntin' down that varmint, not wasting my time here…" Alicia snarled as she was on her stomach.
"Alicia…" Maddie scolded.
"I know… I know…" Alicia tiredly relented.
"Well… you did risk bleeding dry to save me, and my family…" Maddie went, her mood lifting ever so slightly. "So… I suppose it's only right to think about a second chance."
"Really?" Alicia asks with a hopeful smile on her face.
"I am… but you have to promise me… a real change has to be made." Maddie said. "I don't want to hear your excuse…"
"You mean… how I don't see a point in changin' who I am?" Alicia hesitantly questioned.
"Yes. You have to make a promise to make a real change…" Maddie said.
Alicia was quiet, unsure of what to say. That's when Maddie's Fenton Phones went off.
"Maddie! We're gonna need you! That Beastie is still on the run!" Jack was heard.
"On it." Maddie said after picking it up and speaking into it, then looking at her sister in seriousness. "We'll talk about it when I return…"
Maddie left the room, leaving Alicia to think things over.
With Sam, Tucker and Jazz
Still in the waiting room, the three were doing their own things. Jazz was reading, Tucker was looking at his PDA, Sam was sitting with arms crossed and brooding.
"This is stupid… we're clearly fine." She complained.
"Speak for yourself…" Jazz whispered in annoyance, hissing slightly.
Sam raised an eyebrow, questioning this before Tucker inched closer.
"Pretty sure Jazz is hiding it well. This is the third time we've dealt with something not a ghost…" He pointed out.
'You're right next to me, I can hear you." Jazz angrily muttered.
"Uh… oops?" Tucker nervously responded.
"We should be out there, helping them." Sam said stubbornly.
"In case you forgot… we're not superheroes, people with super tech, soldiers, the police, or a terrorist for hire bounty hunter who I'm thinking has a little too much of a connection with that lieutenant besides her being his ex-wife." Jazz reminds them.
"Your point? I should be out there, not here." Sam complained.
"Yeah, looks like we're benched. Never thought I'd be so happy to STAY in a hospital…" Tucker mumbled as he continued to use his PDA.
Sam shook her head before she recalled something Jazz said.
"What did you mean a little too much of a connection?" Sam asks.
"I saw the way Edge, or… Lieutenant Headley, reacted when Star mentioned finding her parents. Her face looked… uneasy… almost, not the same person we've seen since we met her." Jazz said.
"What are you… implying?" Sam asks.
Jazz cupped her chin, questioning her own thoughts before speaking.
"I think…" Jazz kept her voice low. "I think those two are more than just exes who are now on opposite sides of the law, I am getting the idea from her reaction to Star that they might have had a kid…"
Elsewhere
A wicked cackle echoed through the streets of Paris as the Beast, vicious and bloodthirsty as ever, threw a car out of the way, throwing it at Danny Phantom.
"If I recall, you Americans enjoy the game of baseball! So, catch!" He said as he continued his rampage.
Danny caught the car, setting it down as he and Dani nodded.
"We have another game we can play! Its called bowling!" Danny said as he formed a construct of energy in the shape of a a huge bowling ball. "Strike!" He shouted before he rolled it at the vile lycanthrope.
The Beast, seeing this, managed to stomp on the hood of another discarded car, letting it take the hit as he was launched away.
He laughed mockingly as he was sent flying into the air. Angered at this, Danny growled before Dani caught up with him.
"Don't worry… Larissa and her boys are there." She reminded him.
The Beast landed on a street that led to the Louvre, keeping the container with all the ingredients and the book in one hand. As he stood up, he found himself surrounded by men armed with guns, all aiming at him. Larissa stood behind all of them, glaring at him and ready to attack.
"Make any moves, even a blink, and you'll have more holes in you than the plot of a Michael Bay movie." She warned.
"Hmm… I don't know what zhose are… but I can tell you, mon cherri, zhat unless zhey too were given zhe same treatment as your boyfriend's bullets… zhen Ils ne fonctionnent pas!" The Beast mockingly grinned.
Hearing him call Razor that, Larissa gritted her teeth in rage as she pointed forward.
"OPEN FIRE!" She ordered.
Bullets assaulted the Beast as the soldiers fired, shells falling to the ground like rain. The Beast just stood there as the bullets pierced through his body. Soon, the bullets stopped and the sounds of the soldiers pressing the triggers followed. Larissa raised a hand, signaling them to stop.
To their horror, the Beast remained where he was, grinning as his body closed all openings made by their weapons.
"Hmm? You're done now? Ça chatouillait à peine." He went before closing the distance, backhanding everyone out of his way as he resumed his run on all fours.
As she helped her fellow soldiers, Larissa gritted her teeth in anger.
"Looks like I'll still need Razor after all…" She grunted as she pulled out her walkie talkie and spoke into it. "He's going South. Get your toy ready."
"On it, Luv…" Razor said from the other end.
With the Beast.
The Beast kept making from the soldiers, his smug expression replaced by annoyance.
"Hmm… zhere must be somezhing in zhis book zhat will keep zhese people away. I could kill zhem all so easily… but I would like less annoyances…" He opened the book, skimming through it until he spotted a spell that caught his attention. "Hmm… rain? I suppose zhat could diztract zhem for a few hourz. Okay...let's see...says here I will need French Saffron...zhe feather of a Firecrest… I can easily get zhoze. Although… what's left for zhe spell I actually want to cast?" He asks as he reads, seeing one ingredient that got his attention, a twisted smile formed on his face. "Zhe "blood of the guilty", eh? And it looks like...Yez, the scent of fresh meat nearby…"
As evil ideas formed in his mind, he overhead heavy footsteps and rattling metal, causing him to get going to get the ingredients he needed for the first spell.
At the Hospital
Star and Kwan left the room where her parents were, the former looking relief that her parents were going to be fine. As the two walked through the halls in silence, they bumped into Sam and Tucker. The four teenagers stared at each other awkwardly.
"…So…You guys okay?" Kwan asked in an awkward tone.
"Yeah…" Tucker said as he noticed the glare Sam was directing at Star. "…Are you guys…okay?"
"We're good, we're good." Kwan said. "So…crazy day today, huh?"
"I don't know, it's more than crazy." Tucker said with a shrug. "It's not as weird as it was back home."
"So…are you guys…okay?" Star asked awkwardly.
"What? You think knowing Danny's secret means we're friends now?" Sam suddenly said, crossing her arms.
"Hey, I'm only trying to be nice here!" Star exclaimed in annoyance.
"Oh? I bet if you didn't find out by accident, you wouldn't care about us, who actually knew his secret from the beginning." Sam said with a frown.
"I mean, it's not like he told us, we were just there when it happened." Tucker said before getting a death glare from Sam. "And I'm shutting up now."
"You think just knowing his secret means you have to act nice and I'll care?" Sam questioned harshly, turning her attention back to an annoyed Star.
"As if I CARE what someone like you thinks of me…" Star responded rudely.
"I don't think you're doing a good job of acting like you don't care…" Kwan whispered to her.
"Shut it!" Star snapped. "As far as I'm concerned, I don't have to change who I am…"
"Oh wow… I guess you're happy being the shallow girl that you are." Sam snarked.
"Look. Out of gratitude, we won't tell anyone Danny's secret. But don't expect things to be that different between us." Star said, trying to calm down. "As far as I'm concerned…You can stay the goth loser that you are, and away from me."
"Finally… you said something I can agree with." Sam said sarcastically.
With that, Star left, wishing to get away from the goth. Kwan remained behind, looking back and forth awkwardly.
"Uh… so… just to be clear… she doesn't speak for me. When we get back… I can… try to keep Dash from picking on you… sometimes. I mean, you know how he is. Sorry but… that's the best I can do." Kwan said with an apologetic shrug before following Star.
"Well… it's something." Sam said with a sigh, knowing he's at least trying.
With Danny and Dani
The two ghost-powered heroes were flying through the skies of Paris, looking high and low for the Beast, their glowing eyes scanning every street, alley, and corner.
"Where did Huckleberry Hound go?" Dani asks.
"No no… he was a dog, not a wolf." Danny clarified. "And… good question…"
Before the two knew it, a smoke was rising from atop a building. Yet, the building itself was not on fire. As such, they quickly flew towards the building. When they got there, they saw the Beast pouring items into the fire he had made.
"Is he casting the spell already?!" Dani asks.
Danny's eyes noticed several stolen items were put aside near the Beast, too far to be of use.
"I don't think so… is he casting another?" Danny asks out loud.
"Can he even use magic? I mean… Sam couldn't because her bloodline has nothing magic or supernatural about it… which really peeved her off." Dani said, cracking a small smile at that despite the situation.
"His dad was part of that cult or whatever… and he used dark magic to turn into that… we'll have to assume he can! Come on!" Danny shouted he sped up, Dani following.
The Beast grinned as he added the final touches to the rain spell. As he prepared to cast the spell, his ears twitched just as Danny and Dani landed behind him, hands raised and ready to fire.
"Stop right there, big, hairy, and gruesome!" Dani exclaimed.
"Ah, bonjour, petits Fantômes." The Beast greeted them with a faux-friendly smile. "Tell me… have you packed your parapluies?"
"Our… what?" Danny asks, his face a mix of confusion and annoyance.
"That means umbrella…" The Beast as he read from the book. "Imber effundat, et ad horam recte valeat!"
"Not a chance, Fido!" Danny shouted as he and Dani both fired at him.
The Beast dodged the blasts just as the two Phantoms charged at him. The Beast jumped out of the way, watching them fly past before laughing at them.
"You should stay indoors, no? Avoid getting sick! And speaking of being sick... the spell I need requires a place of pain and sorrow! I know just the place! Attrape-moi, si tu peux!" The Beast laughed before running towards the edge, fearlessly jumping off the edge. Using his claws, he used the wall to slow down his descent until he was a few feet from the ground, jumping off the wall and continued running on all fours.
"What exactly did he mean by that?" Dani asks as they both start to follow.
Before Danny could answer, he noticed the smoke from the fire the Beast started turned a reddish-brown color as it rose to the sky.
The smoke mixed with the clouds, causing them to grow until they blacked out the sky.
Rain began to fall. At first a drizzle, then a light shower. Now, it was a heavy downpour. Danny held his hand out, seeing it was normal water.
"He made it rain? Why?" Danny asks.
"Maybe he wanted a bath?" Dani suggested, moving her wet bangs off her eyes.
With Larissa and her squad
Military vehicles drove through the streets of Paris, turning the lights on every alley and corner, trying to catch even a glimpse of the Beast's tail.
"Any signs of him?" She questioned.
"None yet." The driver said. "We do- wait! It's raining!" He said suddenly.
"What?" She asks, looking up to see a heavy downpour that suddenly appeared. "There was nothing in the report on rain!"
"Must be because of that book he's got." Razor said over the radio.
"Sorry, but I've never driven rain this heavy before, even the lights can't see through it." the driver said as he looked out through the windshield, seeing the headlights reflecting on the rain like a wall.
"Wherever he's going... you'd better go by foot..." Larissa ordered into radio.
"Alrighty... but if I get a cold... I'm countin' on ya to get me some soup." Razor jests before disconnecting.
Larissa scowled at the radio as she looked away.
"I'd let that monster eat him like it ate his pets... but I need him alive... for now..." She muttered.
At the hospital
The back door of the hospital rattled before it slowly opened, and Chloe's head peeked out, checking if the coast was clear.
"All clear, Madame..." Chloe said.
Dubois stepped out, scowling at how they had to sneak past the hospital staff, passing through the sick and dirty commoners while looking like a disaster.
"Took you long enough..." She said ungratefully before seeing the downpour. "You packed my rain jacket?"
"N-No... Madame. But I did get something for you..." Chloe held out a rain jacket. "It should fi-"
"Don't be ridiculous, Chloe! Such a thing is unfit to be worn by me!" Dubois rudely snapped.
"B-But it's raining and-"
"No excuses!" Dubois snapped as she pulled it out of Chloe's hands and threw it out in the rain.
Chloe watched in shock as the jacket she bought for half of her savings got soaked in the rain, feeling seriously annoyed, yet chose to say nothing.
"M-Madame..." She said, attempting to go get it before Dubois pulled her by the arm.
"It's useless now anyway... the inside of it has been exposed to what the exterior was meant to shield it from. Once that's happened, it won't protect the wearer from the elements and the exterior would just degenerate until it's damaged. Now... go get my jacket!" Dubois ordered.
"But it's pouring and we're miles fro-"
"I SAID GET MY JACKET!" Dubois ordered. "Hurry bef-" Dubois looked up away from Chloe at something that made her jaw drop and the color on her face disappear.
"M-Madame?" Chloe asks before Dubois ran back inside, closing the back door which locked with a click.
Chloe turned her head, seeing a menacing pair of red eyes from a silhouette that was inhuman. A flash of lightning caused by the magically created rainstorm made the figure and his toothy grin more visible for a moment, causing Chloe to gasp and step back and the Beast's eyes lit up in recognition.
"Ah... I remember you... You're one of Phantoms lovers, no? I wonder how angry he'd be if I killed you?" The Beast chuckled.
Chloe, her body shaking violently, not from cold but from terror, ran back to the locked door, pounding on it.
"LET ME IN! LET ME IN!" She cried out, her fake accent dropped entirely as the Beast took a step forward.
The Beast raised his right claws to attack when he heard the sound of a gun cocking. Ducking in time, he narrowly avoided a shot as he turned to see Razor standing there with his gun aiming at him.
"I see you got good hearin' there. If I had a quid for every beasty that 'eard me about to shoot… I'd buy meself breakfast at Blé Sucré." He said.
Razor was about to fire again when the Beast thought fast, grabbing Chloe and throwing her at the gunmen, knocking him down as she rolled on the ground.
"Be zhankful I need you later…" The Beast scoffed before tackling the door down, entering the building.
Razor got up and grunted before scowling at Chloe as she got up.
"You got in my way!" He shouted before running into the hospital, his gun locked and loaded.
Chloe huffed as she shivered from the rain before recalling that Dublois was inside the hospital.
"Do I go back in or not?" She asks as she questions whether she should get Dublois or not. "If I was being honest, getting a new life wasn't worth the hassle the old hag was giving me, but I owe my family so much to give up now..."
That's when screams were being heard inside the hospital, causing her to freeze in fear, unable to step forward. She stepped back before someone landed behind her.
"Chloe?" A voice went, causing her to scream and waved her arms frantically before a pair of hands held her by the shoulders. "Chloe?!"
She realized it was Danny Phantom, Dani at his side, causing her to stop panicking a moment and hug him for a moment, making him turn red a bit.
"Danny! He's in there!" She cried out, pointing inside the hospital.
"Oh no…" Danny said with dread as he looked at the broken back door.
The sounds of screams and an inhuman laugh caught his attention as he and Dani rushed forward.
Inside the hospital
Doctors, nurses, patients, and visitors all screamed and panicked when the Beast casually strolled through the halls, carelessly pushing away the ones who got in his way, not even bothering to look at them.
"Arrêt!" One officer shouted as he and two more of his fellow officers tried to fire, only to pause as the Beast picked up a terrified woman to use as a shield. "Retiens ton feu!"
"Stopping for de zake of a worthlezz wench?" The Beast went as he threw the woman at them, knocking them down, then resumed his pace. "Let's see… I have everything I need… I just need two more ingredients… one's looking for me… I just need zhem to be more terrified… perhaps I should start killing? Always my favorite answer…" He gave a blood thirsty grin as he readied his claws, spotting a cowering nurse, holding a little boy protectively.
He walked towards them, scratching the walls with his claws. The intended prey were frozen in fear as they legs wobbled like jelly. Before he could swing his claws, an ecto-saber hit him in the face. That gave the nurse enough time to escape with the boy
Shaking it off, he saw Maddie Fenton with her dual bladed ecto-saber, twirling it as she did various poses, before motioning him to come at her
"Good thing I took a while to make sure I had everything before my husband came so we could look for you!" She said, glad that she grabbed some weapons in case they stumbled upon the Beast.
"Oh? A vell prepared woman is my type of woman…" The Beast looked like he was about have fun with killing her
"I've put down plenty of rabid wolves since I was little! You don't scare me!" She taunted as she crouched down.
"Zhat, my dear… is zhe biggest mistake of your life!" The Beast said before he roared and rushed towards her.
He swung his claws at her, but Maddie deflected his attacks with her sabers. He was stronger and faster, but Maddie was more skilled, using her experience to deflect his attacks. Spinning the saber, she then used it to hurl a wheelchair and bench at the Beast, who knocked them aside, but was met by two boots to the face as Maddie grabbed onto a ceiling light and used it to swing towards the Beast, making him stumble. She then slid between the legs and when she was behind the Beast, she gave a vicious blow between the legs, causing the Beast to flinch as he fell to his knees, holding his crotch.
Maddie then rushed to the wall, then kicked off it to deliver a knee to the Beast's head, finally sending him to the ground. With him down, she spun her saber into the air and stabbed him on the back, hitting his chest.
The Beast gave a pained grunt before he slowly stood up. Maddie tried to hold him down, but he soon overpowered her, throwing her off him. He removed the saber sticking out of his chest before breaking it and throwing the pieces to the ground. He turned to Maddie, who tried to stand up.
Maddie then found herself pinned down by a large canine foot stomping on her back.
"I haven't removed zhe head of such a lovely lady in so long... but if what I can gather... you are zhat boy's mother... Killing you should give him zhe idea zhat he iz powerlezz against me!" He exclaimed as he leaned down, opening his jaw as wide as her head.
Before he could bite down on her head, an armored fist punched him in the face, the impact stunned the Beast as he got off Maddie and stumbled a few feet back.
"GET AWAY FROM MY WIFE, YOU FLEA-BITTEN, MANGY MONGREL!" Jack exclaimed as he stood in front of Maddie, punching his metal fists together, making sparks.
The Beast cracked his neck, turning to see Jack being protective of his wife as a reminder of Jean Chastel with Catherine. That brief flashback to seeing his former friend defending the woman who became his wife filled the Beast with violent rage and jealousy as his eyes glowed.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" The Beast roared before rushing at Jack.
He swiped at Jack, but he blocked it with his gloves, making sparks. He then countered with a punch to the side of his face, followed by an upper to the gut, then two more straights at the snout, causing the Beast to fall on one knee. All the attacks seemed to just annoy the Beast rather than hurt him as he kept healing from it.
"Time to say bye to Old Yeller!" Jack shouted as he raised both fists in the air and swung them down.
However, the Beast cracked a smile before he inched his head to his right to dodge the fists before slashing at Jack's side. Jack inched back, but was still hit, causing him to hiss in pain as he got on his back, clutching his side.
"JACK!" Maddie came to her husband's side and saw the three cuts there. "It doesn't look too deep…" She said as she started supporting him.
"Let me fix zhat!" The Beast laughed as he raised his arms.
Before he knew it, his tail was pulled, swinging him into a bulletin board, the glass breaking. As he opened his eyes, he saw a certain ghost boy whose eyes were glowing furiously at him as he noticed the state his parents were in.
"I am going to tear your head off!" Danny roared in fury.
"Oh? Well…comme c'est intéressant." The Beast said, seeing this as a challenge to see how strong the Ghost Boy is.
With a loud roar that surprised the Beast, Danny tackled him to the wall and started punching and blasting him, stunning the Beast, noticing that Danny kept aiming at his head and neck. As they fought, Dani floated to Jack and helped him up his feet.
"You okay, Dad?" She asked in a worried tone.
"It'll take more than unclipped nails to hurt Jack Fenton, little princess..." He said before wincing. "Though I wouldn't say no to some first-aid."
Dani and Maddie quickly carried Jack away to find something to treat his wound.
Back to the fight, Danny was viciously trying to take the Beast's head off. The attacks were so relentless and violent that even the Beast was worried that he might die. After another vicious strike at the neck, the Beast finally retaliated by slashing at Danny, wounding his chest. He backed away slightly, giving the Beast the chance to suddenly grab his throat and slammed him to the floor, stunning him. The Beast was ready to strangle him before he's struck in the head with a crutch.
"Back off!" Henri Hernandez shouted, holding the now broken crutch in his hands.
The Beast looked over his shoulder, one eye squinted as the other widened.
"Loin de toi." The Beast dismissively in an uninterested tone before using Danny like a weapon and knocking Henri away. "Let me kill zhis one first!"
He slams Danny into the floor, making cracks. Danny phased out of the Beast's grip as he kicked the Beast away before he steadied himself, a massive grin on his fanged face.
"This is where I would make a witty one-liner... but I'm not in the mood..." Danny said as he and the Beast charged at each other, claw meeting fist.
Henri got up, shaking his head as he watched the fight go on.
"I knew staying behind to check on everyone here was a good idea..." He said as he looked at something to use against the Beast.
The fight between the Beast and Danny started wrecking the hallway, filling it with slash marks and burn marks. Danny fired at the Beast, but he used his claws to block it before trying to slash at Danny, who dodged to avoid getting cut. Soon, Danny's ferocity started dimming as he started feeling tired. Unlike the Beast, Danny wasn't invulnerable, and all the non-stop fighting was beginning to take its toll on him.
As Danny threw a punch, the Beast deflective it with his claws, causing Danny to stumble, giving the Beast the opening he needed to deliver a slash that hit Danny's chest, knocking him off his feet. Just as he was about to finish him off, Henri slammed a fire extinguisher on the back of his head. The Beast turned to look at Henri before he grabbed him and threw him at Danny, sending the two through the hallway.
The Beast laughed off Danny being aggressive, something he didn't expect from the boy, who pictured himself as a heroic pushover. It was quite entertaining to fight another savage beast.
"Je dois penser à remercier le paysan nauséabond de m'avoir dirigé vers le livre." He said with a grin. "I have not had zhis much fun since my first month of rampage!"
Danny panted hard before directing his attention to Henri.
"Please tell me everyone's out of here..." He said with a tired voice.
"The rain is pouring too hard...And most of the people here are sick, send them outside, and they might not make it through the night." Henri managed to get up.
"Perfect... enough panic in zhis area. I just need one more ingredient..." The Beast said as he took a step closer, one claw raised.
With thank to Flower Princess11 and TheWhiteTitan for helping me here.
It's October, so it's fitting to work on a story about a werewolf. I have others in mind to work on, but let's see how much of this I can do for now.
Also... please add reviews to this chapter if anything about it crosses your mind.
RonaldM40196867: If you recall, she got it back. Wait and see. Because he doesn't care for someone else's privacy? Because it didn't cross her mind? Maybe... Most likely.
Daniel6: We'll find out later why he doesn't do that.
Guest99: No spoilers.
Invader Johnny: Oh yeah... he's upset about it.
Leonardo: I did not.
Guest: 1. Looks like it. 2. No ghosts for these stories. 3. Most likely. 4. Yup. 5. Thanks.
Luffy is king: Something tells me they won't get along.
