Riser and I were drawing attention as we glared at each other, our auras clashing and fighting for dominance as the temperature rose and static crackled in the air. The tension in the air grew as devils stared at Riser and I glaring at each other right before Rias smacked us both upside the head, our auras dispersing and the atmosphere returning back to normal.
"Stop trying to fight like a pair of Devil Peacocks. This is a formal gathering. Leave your fighting for outside." She said as she placed her hands on her hips, glaring at us two and we both shrugged.
"Not my fault the little Devil wanted to fight someone much more powerful than he is."
"Says the weakling that needed help to pee until he was 5 years old." He looked surprised and a bit fearful as I grinned.
"Yeah, that's right. She told me." He turned to give Rias a glare, only for it to disappear as everyone felt a malicious pulse of aura wash over us, taking a quick glance to the left to see Sirzechs giving Riser a too-friendly smile.
"W-Why don't you introduce us, my Rias?" He said shakily and to be truthful, as much as I wanted to chop his head off, I didn't blame him. When Sirzechs focuses his entire aura on you, you DO NOT want to piss him off in any way, shape or form.
"Riser, this is Isaiah, my knight. Isaiah, this is Riser Phenex, 3rd son of House Phenex and my fiance." Rias looked as if she wanted to be anywhere but here, which I understood as Riser was smirking at me as he tried to wrap his arm around her waist and she kept pulling it off.
Time to help my boss, I guess.
Grabbing Rias' hand, she along with everyone looked surprised as I pulled her away from Riser and hid her slightly behind me, gesturing to an amused Akeno to stand besides her.
"What do you think you're doing, you lower-class plebian?" Riser growled out as the temperature began to rise around us. I caught some of the other devils glancing at us and I just gave him a carefree smile.
"I am the Knight of Rias Gremory and so, I will protect her from anything and anyone that causes her discomfort." My smile disappeared and an ice-cold glare appeared in my eyes as Riser backed away, looking a bit bewildered as my aura poured off me and bloodlust raged around me. The devils around us looked shocked at seeing me threatening a high class member of their society.
"So unless you want a Holy Sword shoved through your heart, I suggest you leave her alone UNTIL she wishes for you to be closer. Am I clear?" I growled out as I created a scimitar with Blade Blacksmith, its holy aura massively amplified by the 'Quadruple Power Boost' rune written on its blade as all devils backed away as quickly as they could. Even Riser and the three members of his peerage that he brought with him, Yubelluna, Xuelan and Karlamine, backed away as the Holy aura burned them. Akeno, Rias, Sona and her peerage members as well as myself were protected by a 'Holy to Demonic Energy Conversion' runic barrier I created in order to shield them and myself from the Holy aura.
"Calm, boy." I heard familiar voice say as a hand was placed on my shoulder and I turned to Okita standing next to me, runes on his body protecting him from the Holy aura(probably MacGregor's work) and a serious look on his face. I sighed as I nodded, dismissing the dagger and removing my runic just stared at me before glancing at Riser and walking back to stand at Sirzechs' side, who looked much too pleased with what I did. Zeoticus looked amused at my actions while Venelana looked a bit displeased.
"Remember what I said, Lord Riser. If Lady Rias does not want you near her, stay away or I will do well to make due on my threat." I finished as I stared at him before turning back to the group of surprised girls and standing at Rias' left side once again.
"…Thank you, Isaiah." Rias said with a smile and I gave her a grin.
"You're paying my salary, gave me a place to live and feed me every day. The least I could do is make sure I do my job right." She giggled as Akeno walked closer and wrapped my right arm in a tight hug. I raised an eyebrow and she just gave me a teasing smirk as she lowered my hand to the front of her crotch of her dress. I rubbed across the fabric before my other eyebrow joined the first as I felt the sticky dampness on it.
"Really?" I whispered and she just giggled before we both heard a soft squeak and looked up to see Tsubaki flushed bright red as she looked down at where my hand was, everyone giving her a curious glance before they turned back to their own conversations.
"You did that on purpose, didn't you?"
"Just making sure my territory is protected." She said with a sensual smile and I chuckled as I pulled my arm out of her grip, with her looking surprised as I wrapped my arm around her waist and grabbed a handful of her ass. She gave me a smirk as I grinned as I let off a bit of Lightning Magic on my palm, making her stifle her moan as she wrapped her arms around me.
"And I'm just making sure everyone knows you're mine." I whispered in her ear as she kept her face hidden in my arm, watching her shake slightly shake as she bit on my sleeve. Tsubaki was the only one who saw what we were doing as the others were too busy with their own conversations and her eyes were wide as I stared deep into them while massaging Akeno's eyes. I could feel Akeno's shaking getting more and more intense before I quickly stopped, making her whine softly.
"Let's stop before we make her faint." I muttered as I pulled my hand off her ass and put it on her waist, making her pout as I dispersed my magic.
"…What do you think of Tsubaki?" She asked as soon as she calmed down, leaning against my arm as Rias and Sona kept chatting. Riser has disappeared after realising that Rias was not even going to glance at him, making sure to give me a final glare before he walked off, with his three peerage members also glaring at me slightly as they followed him.
"That's…a weird and very unusual question." I said and she just giggled.
"You haven't answer my question."
"I feel like if I answer that question, you'll have a diabolical plan to execute and I'll be the victim of it."
"I…might, but I might not." I just sighed as I glanced down at her, finding her staring up at me with a glint of amusement in those wondrous violet eyes of hers.
"I guess you could say…I might feel something for her."
"We're in a relationship for just a week and already you want another girl?" She asked with a raised eyebrow and I chuckled.
"Never said that. I just said I might feel something for her. I could feel like she's a sister to me or a nice friend or even part of a family."
"…Please tell me you're joking." She said with a deadpan and I chuckled.
"Yeah, I'm joking. The 'something' might be attraction, but fortunately, I have all I need right here next to me."
"Good save." She said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes as we stared out into the crowd of devils.
"Is there a reason for the question?"
"Nope!" She answered way too quickly and I raised an eyebrow, only for her to quickly let go of me and stand next to the girls. She joined the conversation as if she was always involved, but she was standing right next to a flustered Tsubaki and was giving the flustered girl amused glances.
"Oi, gaki." I heard Okita's voice behind and turned to see him and MacGregor behind me, Surtr and Beowulf behind them.
"Lord Lucifer wants to see you and don't worry about the princess and your girl. These two will be here until you come back."
"I worry more for whoever tries to hurt them with these two here." Surtr and Beowulf just laughed as I followed Okita and MacGregor, catching Akeno and Rias waving at me before they turned back to their conversations as I waved back.
"Ah, the prodigious Knight is here." Sirzechs said with a smile and I froze for a split second as I saw everyone who was around him, stopping to stand next to Sirzechs as he placed a hand on my shoulder.
"My Lords and Ladies, this young gentleman here is Isaiah Azathoth, Rias' Knight of Two Pieces and a future vassal of House Gremory. Isaiah, this is Lord Ruzan and Lady Rayna of House Phenex." Lord Phenex looked like an older, more sophisticated version of Riser and Lady Phenex looked just like she looked in the anime, with her hair done up in the same style. Both were dressed in burnt red outfits, with Lord Phenex wearing a full burnt tuxedo with a white shirt and gold insignia on it and Lady Phenex wearing a formal burnt red dress with red heels and gold insignias.
"Lord Silva and Lady Selene of House Sitri." Lord Sitri gave me a light smile and a nod, which I returned, as Lady Sitri just gave me a stern nod, her violet eyes hidden behind purple square rimmed glasses. Just like the Phenex couple, they were also dressed in matching coloured outfits. Lord Sitri was wearing dark blue dress pants, black dress shoes, a dark blue dress jacket and a dark blue tie and Lady Sitri was wearing a dark blue dress with a silver fur scarf wrapped around her shoulders.
"Lord Arq and Lady Arie of House Astaroth." Lord Astaroth had his green hair slicked back and was dressed in a dark green tuxedo with a white dress shirt, a black bow tie and black dress shoes. Lady Astaroth had light green hair that hung loosely to her upper back and was dressed in a sleeveless green dress.
"Lord Sevano of House Glasya-Labolas." He was much taller than everyone in the group, being almost at the same height as I remember Surtr being and he was almost 8 feet tall. Lord Sevano was dressed in a formal and intricate purple royal outfit that had way too many bits and pieces for me to identify, being completely bald with a thick beard. He nodded at me and I bowed back.
"Lord Juvano of House Agares." Lord Agares was dressed in a black tuxedo with a dark green tie, only nodding at me as his red eyes stared me down and his shoulder-length blonde hair swayed with every movement.
"Lord Danhauser and Lady Calfa of House Belial as well as their son and the Emperor of the Rating Games, Lord Diehauser Belial." Diehauser smiled as I gave him a bow, his father and him looking like a pair of twins as they had the same black 2-piece suit with black dress shoes and white dress shirts as his mother was dressed in a black form fitting dress.
"Lord Druca and Lady Elise of House Bael." Lord Bael just glared at me as I bowed, huffing as I stood back up and Lady Bael gave me a polite smile. Lord Bael was adorned in a black suit that had who knows how many rubies and diamonds engraved on it and Lady Bael was dressed in a low-cut crimson dress with her hair done up in a bun with ornate hair decorations.
"And last but certainly not least, the esteemed Great Lord Zekram Bael, the eldest son of the first Lucifer and the great mother Lilith and the first member of House Bael." I instantly remembered what Venelana told me about how to greet him and did just as she said.
Quickly falling to a knee, I placed my left fist on the ground and tapped my right fist against my chest, over my heart, before I lifted my hand towards him with my palm facing up. It was a few seconds before I heard a chuckle as I felt him place his hand in mine before closing my hand back into a fist and tapping it three times with a finger, giving me permission to stand. I stood back up and looked up from the ground, catching the amused look in Zekram's violet eyes as the other Lords and Ladies looked impressed at what I did.
"It's been millennia since I've had such a great greeting from a Devil not of pure blood. Venelana has taught you well."
"I thank you for your praise, oh Great Lord." He chuckled as he turned to Sirzechs, nodding at him and Venelana before walking away.
"…That got you in his good books for the next millennia." I heard Zeoticus mutter before I heard a soft whack and turned to see him rubbing the back of his head as Venelana glared at him.
"I'm just telling the truth." He said with a shrug and she sighed, drawing chuckles from the couples of House Sitri, Astaroth, Glasya-Labolas and Belial. The Phenex couples looked amused, but they were still a bit mad at me for threatening their son with a holy weapon so they didn't laugh, which I understood. Lord Agares looked as if he was analysing my every move and didn't even miss a single one of my movements. Lord and Lady Bael looked as if they didn't want to anywhere but here.
"So, boy. How did you so powerful and in such a short amount of time?" Surprisingly, Lord Bael was the one who asked the question, a slightly greedy look on his face. The others looked surprised and wary at his interest in me and I caught Lord Agares focused entirely on me.
"To be completely truthful, Lord Bael, the only thing I did intense training." I said with a smile, drawing a slight glare from him.
"You expect me to believe that a reincarnated Devil that's not even pure of blood is able to achieve Ultimate-Class strength in two years when it takes the average Pure Blood Devil 5 years to achieve the same?"
"I apologize if my answer upsets you, my lord, but that's all I did. Lord and Lady Gremory can confirm my words as nothing but the truth."
"The boy speaks the truth, Druca." Venelana said and Zeoticus nodded. "He's a prodigy at the same level as Ajuka, Diehauser and my son. I made sure Okita was thorough in training young Isaiah in nothing but physical training and that he doesn't do any sort of thing that would enhance his growth. He even mastered Divinitin in just six months and is the only non-Gremory Devil that is able to read, decipher and use Gremorian." The other lords and ladies looked impressed at that, though Lord Bael looked as if his 'pissed-off meter' was about to shoot through the roof.
'… Firstly, that's a whole lot of praise to be compared to three of the four Super Devils alive and secondly, we both know that second one was a lie, Lord Zeoticus.' I thought to myself as I frowned mentally while still keeping a polite smile on my face.
"…You're telling me that this boy is able to understand the most coveted runic language in all of mythology." Zeoticus nodded with a smile as Venelana giggled behind her hand.
"And once again, House Gremory has added another prodigious monster to their collection." Lord Phenex said with a smirk.
"Thank you for the compliment, Lord Phenex" I said with a bow, drawing surprised looks from the other couples.
"You're not opposed to being called a monster?" Lord Agares asked with an intrigued stare and I chuckled as I shook my head.
"There are all kinds of monsters in this crazy world of ours. Lady Rias has Akeno and Koneko to protect her from her enemies in the light. I am the monster that fights the monsters that tries to hurt her from the darkness." Lord Agares chuckled at that before he turned to Zeoticus and Venelana.
"I've seen enough. I'll inform Lord Beelzebub. Bring him to Agreas tomorrow." Zeoticus nodded before Lord Agares gave one final nod and disappeared into the crowd.
"…What just happened?" I asked slowly, drawing chuckles from everyone before Sirzechs spoke.
"Congratulations, Isaiah. You've just become the youngest Reincarnated Devil in history to become a High-Class Devil." I slowly turned to him with a shocked look on my face before it all slowly connected and I sighed.
"…This was a test, wasn't it? Great Lord Bael was here in order to make sure I knew the ancient greetings, Lord Bael's question was to see if I had used any sort of enhancements and/ or steroids of sorts to quicken my growth. Lady Sitri and Lady Phenex are both psychiatrists and I caught Lord and Lady Belial both use a lie detection spell on me, so they were here to make sure I only answered truthfully. Lord Agares was here to analyse what I did and said through the entire night and apart from the incident earlier, I acted with perfect etiquette and therefore, I had an almost perfect score according to the criteria he had in his mind." Sirzechs chuckled and nodded as the others looked surprised.
"Colour me impressed. It seems your intelligence was not over-exaggerated by Sirzechs here." Lord Glasya-Labolas said with a smile and I just smiled.
"It's just the most logical answer I could come to." I said with a shrug, which Venelana frowned at and I gave a sheepish smile in apology. She just sighed as Zeoticus and Sirzechs along with the rest of the couples chucked at that.
'Wait, how the hell did I even come to a conclusion like that?' I thought to myself, frowning mentally as I listened to the Lords and ladies converse with each other. I mean, I knew I was slightly above average in intelligence in my past life, but not to this extent. Maybe…maybe this is the result of my training under Okita. Constantly analysing everything and everyone around me and creating profiles on them to help me understand them better.
If so…this is awesome.
"Well, I do believe we've taken up enough of your time and I'm sure Rias is going to come look for you in a few seconds, so you are free to go."
"Thank you, Lord Gremory, Lady Gremory, Lord Lucifer. It was an honour to meet you all, my lords and ladies." I said as I bowed to each one before quickly following an amused Okita and MacGregor back to the girls.
"Two years and he's already a high-class devil. Can you believe it, MacGregor?" Okita muttered as he, MacGregor and I disappeared in the crowd and MacGregor chuckled as I groaned.
"That was too much formality for me." I muttered and they both chuckled as we caught sight of Surtr's giant physique.
"I just remembered. Rias is not going to like this at all." I groaned and the two of them kept chuckling as we moved around a group of Devils and finally arrived at the girls' location. Rias and Akeno were still talking with Sona and her peerage, though they had moved to sit at a table and Koneko, Seekvaira as well as a third addition were with them, with the new face standing behind Seekvaira.
He looked like the average black-haired and red-eyed isekai protagonist you red about in manga and he was dressed in a black bulter outfit. When he noticed me, his head turned to stare at me and I stared back, our auras slowly emanating off us and carefully touching in the middle to feel how powerful the other is. Everything around us had disappeared into the background as we stared at each other before he nodded his head and I nodded back as our auras retracted.
"Could you stop trying to fight everyone you meet for the first time? I swear Sairaorg has corrupted you." I heard Rias say and just chuckled as I walked to stand behind her as Okita gave me a final nod and disappeared back into the crowd of devils along with MacGregor, Surtr and Beowulf.
Koneko was sat next to Rias on her left eating three giant slices of chocolate cake and Akeno was on her right, giving me an inviting glance as she patted the empty seat next to her. I just shook my head with a smile and she pouted slightly as I chuckled.
"Ah right. Isaiah, this is Alivian, Seekvaira's queen that she talked about. Alivian, this is my Knight, Isaiah. The one I told you about."
"Lady Seekvaira has told me much about him. It's a pleasure to meet a fellow Reincarnated Devil that is not female." The girls gave him mock-affronted stares and he just gave an apologetic smile.
"The same to you, Alivian. Sairaorg's probably the only male Devil I'm actually acquainted with." I said with a smile and a bow and he chuckled as he did the same. The stares were aimed now at me and I just gave a shrug, making them all sigh.
"I hear someone saying my name." I heard a very familiar voice and it was my turn to sigh as I turned my head to see a grinning Sairaorg walk towards us, dressed in dark purple dress pants, black dress shoes, a dark purple vest and a white dress shirt with a dark purple tie. Kuisha and Coriana were on both sides of him, with Coriana dressed in a form fitting red dress with her hair done up in a high ponytail and Kuisha dressed in a form fitting black dress with her hair hanging loosely behind her.
"Hello, rival! Good to see you haven't croaked!" Sairaorg greeted and I chuckled as I held out a fist and he bumped it, chuckling as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.
"Couldn't leave you alone without a rival. Who knows what you'd do without me?" I said with a grin and he chuckled before he sat down in the empty chair in between Sona and Seekvaira, both girls blushing slightly as he gave them both a smile before he gave Alivian a nod and turned to Rias.
"So Rias, what's this I hear about Isaiah becoming the youngest Reincarnated High-Class Devil in history?" Everyone at the table and those around it looked shocked as they gave Sairaorg wide-eyed stares before turning to aim them at me and I sighed.
"I was going to tell them later, Sairaorg." I muttered as I face-palmed.
"Oh...oops." He said with a sheepish chuckle before both Akeno and Rias jumped to their feet and wrapped me up in a tight hug as they cheered loudly.
"Congratulations, Isaiah! My Knight is the youngest High-Class Devil in history! Wait, how did it happen?!" Rias asked as she stopped hugging me and I just gave a slight shrug, not removing the arm tightly in Akeno's grip.
"Lord Sirzechs called me over and Great Lord Bael and Lord Agares analysed my etiquette before agreeing that I had met whatever criteria they use. I'm supposed to go to Agreas tomorrow along with Lord Sirzechs, but I wasn't told why."
"It's to receive your Evil Pieces." Sona said as she snapped out her shock and the realisation hit me.
"Ah right. I completely forgot that the Monument Crystal is located on Agreas." Rias just giggled and Koneko stood up to give me a quick and tight hug and a congratulate pat on the back before she sat back down to finish her cake.
"We have to celebrate it! Oh, I know! We'll have a small party tomorrow afternoon after you receive your Evil Pieces and we'll get everyone to come! Just not Riser. We don't want him there." Rias grumbled and we all laughed at that before Rias sat back, Akeno still holding onto my arm.
"You're not sitting back down?" I asked softly and she smiled before a sweet scent assaulted my nose and she sat back down next to Rias.
Did…did she just use Wind Magic so that only I can smell her arousal? Oh, now she's just messing with me.
I glared slightly at her, making her giggle as I caught Sairaorg's and Alivian's amused stares. I just shook my head with a sigh, making them chuckle before I heard Seekvaira speak.
"So, Isaiah, how are you dealing with everything so far?"
"Dealing?" I asked with a confused glance and she sighed.
"The attempt on your life. Are you afraid that they might come finish the job or try to attack those close to you in order to spite you?"
"Oh, that! No, not necessarily. I'm too powerful for them to finish me quickly and by the time they might be able to kill me, Okita and the others will already be near and be able to take out the ones that try to finish the jobs. Besides, the assassins were vampires and Lord Sirzechs said that I didn't have to worry about it as he will personally be able to handle it." She just stared at me for a few seconds and nodded before I heard Akeno speak.
"We are at a ball and I'm feeling a bit full of energy, so…" She trailed off as she gave me a glance and I chuckled as I held my hand out to her.
"Akeno, would you give me the honour of dancing with me?"
"I thought you'd never ask." I just gave her an amused glance as she took my hand and we both walked towards the dance floor, with her walking to the centre of the floor before she turned to me. I just smirked as our right hands linked together, I placed my left hand on her hip and she placed her left hand on my shoulder.
Later that night:
"Thank you for coming, Isaiah. Please, have a seat" Zeoticus said with a smile as I opened the door, closing the door behind me and sitting down in the chair in front of him.
"You did send Okita to come and fetch me. Akeno's a bit miffed that I had to leave her alone in bed." I muttered and he chuckled.
"Believe me, Venelana is just as miffed that I had to leave the bed, but unfortunately, I had to speak to you urgently about tomorrow." I sat upright from my slouch and he nodded.
"Firstly, when we leave tomorrow, it will only be Sirzechs, you and I who leave. No one else."
"That was one of the things I expected." I said with a nod and he smiled.
"Good. Secondly, you only follow us. Do not speak, do not look around, do not take anything from anyone and do not follow anyone no matter what. We do not know who in our society is in cahoots with the assassins, so keep close to Sirzechs and I." I nodded at that.
"Finally, when you place your hand on the monument and pulse your magic into it, a closed crimson case will appear on your hands. As soon as you receive it, you place it in your pocket dimension. You do not open it nor do you even glance at it for a second. Understood?"
'…Why is there so much politics in just receiving Evil Pieces?' I just nodded at that and he chuckled.
"I know it's a lot, but unfortunately, you're a prodigy that comes once in a millennia and everyone has their eye on the Gremory Knight with the Holy-Demonic Blades. You did a good job in spreading that bit of information by the way. House Gremory will be receiving more trade proposals thanks to you. Also, do not ask about why I lied to Lord Agares about you not partaking in rituals and steroids. He already knows about it and wanted to see if you would be loyal to your Lord or not."
"So that's what that was. I thought it was strange that a man with a large information network as you said would not know of it." He smiled and nodded and I stood up.
"Well, it was my pleasure, Mr. Zeoticus. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to return before Akeno comes and fetch me herself."
"Hahaha! You're free to go, my boy. Good night." He laughed and I chuckled as I stood up.
"Good night, Lord Gremory." I bowed and he nodded as I walked out of the room, walking to my room while thinking over everything I just received.
'Politics…Maybe I shouldn't have gotten so powerful in such a short amount of time, but then I'd have to worry about Devils trying to bully me and think they're more powerful than me. I guess you reap what you sow and since I'm already on this fast-paced path, I might as well complete it." I smiled to myself as I arrived at my room and opened the door, stopping in my tracks as I saw Akeno on the bed and slowly closed the door behind me.
She was laying down on her left side, leaning her head on her left hand and her hair hanging loosely as it created a blanket of darkness over her completely nude body. The moonlight shining through the window definitely didn't help hide her figure and the way her skin glowed as the moonlight hit it…I'm still surprised I managed to keep my sanity in tact. Joker and Bardou were thankfully outside and will probably stay there until we're asleep, so I didn't have to worry about them.
"You never did finished what you started~" She moaned softly as she traced her right index finger over her right side and I grinned as I unbuttoned the white dress shirt I still had on, kicking off my shoes and socks and leaving me in my black dress pants.
"Well, I can't leave a job unfinished now, can I?" I muttered and she just giggled as I slowly crawled over her, giving her a smoldering kiss that lasted for what felt before I pulled back, leaving her gasping for air as she stared up at me. Her eyes were burning with lust and I chuckled as I slowly traced a finger over her toned stomach, with her gasping as I moved that same finger slowly around her nipple but never touching it.
"I can't wait until we're older." She muttered and I chuckled before she pulled me back into another kiss.
Ah~I may feel bad, but damn, does that feel good!
The Next Day: Agreas, Agares Territory:
As soon as the light of the teleportation died down, I stared in awe at the massive resort in front of me. There were swimming pools, hot springs, what seemed to be spas and all sorts of different relaxation activities and buildings in front of me. I heard Sirzechs chuckle at my amazement and I turned to stare at him.
"Unfortunately, that's not our stop. That is." He said as he pointed to our left and I turned before my eyes widened further as I saw our destination. A single island floating separate from the one Agreas was on and connected to it with an intricate elegant bridge, a massive lab in the middle of it with a gigantic black crystal floating on a crimson pedestal. The pedestal was built on a giant black platform with the Agares crest floating above the crystal.
"Remember what Father said." Sirzechs muttered and I nodded before we walked towards the building, Sirzechs and Zeoticus not even glancing at the people bowing to them and I followed their example as we quickly walked across the bridge and made it to the lab.
Waiting in front of it was a man dressed in a white lab coat with a dark green suit under it. His green hair was slicked back and his light blue eyes shimmered with curiosity as he stared at me. I might have been seeing things, but when he focused slightly on me, I felt chills as I saw a glimmer of raging insanity in his eyes before it completely disappeared.
His aura was constantly changing in density, quantity and its unique signature, as if it was constantly adapting to everything around him. Even the air around him was constantly unstable as if it wanted to collapse into itself and the only thing stopping it from doing so is the fact that he kept it stable.
"Ajuka! Great to see you've come out of your lab for once!"
"Unfortunately. I can't leave you to show the boy otherwise you'd just destroy everything you touch." Sirzechs just chuckled as they shook hands, Ajuka nodding at Lord Gremory who nodded back before he turned to me.
"I assume this is the prodigious Devil boy that is here for his pieces?" Sirzechs nodded and Ajuka nodded before he walked towards it, Sirzechs and Zeoticus following after him with me following them. As soon as we finished walking up the steps of the platform and stood in front of the crystal, Ajuka turned to me before he spoke.
"Okay, listen to my explanation because I'm going to explain it only once and I don't like repeating myself." I nodded as I waited for his explanation.
"When you place your hand on the monument, send a pulse of magic through it and after three seconds, remove your hands. Otherwise, you'd overload the crystal and cause a temporary severance between the crystal itself and the different Kings all across the Underworld. Please don't do it as a prank if Sirzechs told you to do so to annoy me. It would be a pain to recalibrate." I nodded and he smiled before he moved to the side, gesturing for me to step forward.
"Remember number 3." Zeoticus whispered as he tapped on my shoulder and I gave him a nod before I stepped forward, placing my hand on the crystal. I kept my hand on for three seconds before removing it, watching in awe as a light blue pulse of demonic energy ran across the crystal and crimson motes of light slowly condensed in my hand before it flashed and a crimson oak case was left in my hand.
Quickly putting it in my pocket dimension, I heard a chuckle and turned to see Ajuka looking amused.
"Good. You never know who is watching you. It's best to look at your pieces are in a safe space."
"Thank you, Lord Beelzebub." "Lord Ajuka is fine and don't worry about it. Diehauser, Sirzechs and I were called one in a millennia prodigies and it's our job to make sure you, who is classified in the same category as us, is well-prepared for the future." I smiled and bowed before walking to Sirzechs and Zeoticus.
"Will you be there for Millicas' birthday next week?"
"Of course. I won't miss any of my godson's birthday for the world."
"I'll tell him uncle Aju is going to be there. He's going to be so happy." Ajuka just chuckled as he shook Sirzechs' hand and gave Zeoticus and I a nod before he disappeared in a light green magic flash, probably teleporting back to his lab.
"Come, let us leave, Isaiah." I nodded and Lord Sirzechs placed a hand on my shoulder before a Gremory crest appeared under us and we teleported back to the Gremory territory.
A/N: Well, a much shorter chapter than the 7k ones I'm used to write, but it's also a bit fun to post once a week.
Now, for those wondering why Isaiah is becoming a High-Class Devil at 12 years old, in this universe, as soon as you become an Ultimate Class Devil in power, you are automatically given High-Class(Baron/ Broness) without having to take any sort of exams. I actually wanted to make an entire ceremony of it, but I'm saving that for next chapter.
Also, everyone saw this chapter coming. I mean, it's almost mandatory to give your SI the Evil Pieces at a young age if he's a reincarnated Devil.
Also, I did say the training arc was supposed to start, but I'm going to hold out on that as I want to develop Akeno and Isaiah's relationship a bit more before it truly begins.
