Mallow giggled playfully as she stared upward with wide eyes. She was flat on her back and her breath came in long slow gasps as she slowly and repetitively worked her body. She slid her legs and moved her arms along with Kiawe. When she'd set out for Kanto with Lana and Mimo, she'd never expected to be doing something like this!
"I'm so glad you suggested this, Kiawe!" she said in a happy tone.
Kiawe let out a bashful chuckle. "Well, I figured we'd better do it before we left for the airport."
Mallow laughed and slid her legs apart so they were spread wide. "Yeah, this wouldn't work so well in Alola!" she joked.
Kiawe sniggered and briefly looked thoughtful. "You know, this is actually the first time I've done this!" he said.
A surprised expression spread on Mallow's face. "What, really?!" she gasped.
Kiawe struggled to keep a silly grin off his face. "Yeah, I just never got around to it before now."
Mallow stopped her movements and let out a relaxing sigh. "Well, it's not my first time," she said in a jovial tone.
Kiawe's eyes widened. "Uh, it's not?" he squawked.
Mallow laughed. "No, I've actually done this a lot," she said. "Ever since I was a little girl."
A perplexed and distraught look appeared on Kiawe's face. "What, how?!" he squawked again.
Mallow slid her arms and legs again and let out a blissful sigh. "My dad was always going to all the different islands to get ingredients for cooking. Every time we went to Ula'ula Island, I'd climb up the mountain and have some fun!"
Without warning, Mimo suddenly stepped into sight and stared down at Mallow and Kiawe. The yellow and brown haired teen had her arms folded and a sly smirk fixed on her face.
"That's probably why Mallow is so much better at it than you are…" the young girl deadpanned.
Kiawe yelped in surprise while Mallow let out a belly laugh. "Thanks!" the green haired girl said kindly.
The dark skinned man from Alola grumbled and rapidly rose to his feet. Mallow sat up as well and looked around her, inspecting her work and then the results of Kaiwe's effort. There was no doubt; her snow angel was way better.
"Don't you have packing to do?!" Kiawe barked at his little sister.
Mimo stuck out her tongue and made a rude sound. "I already got it done!" she said in a disrespectful tone. She planted her gloved hands on her hips, her red, puffy coat rustling as she moved. "I'm all ready to go."
Kiawe frowned but hesitated before speaking. He let out a sigh and looked toward the main building of the Pokémon reserve. They were standing in the middle of the large, snow-covered field in front of the structure. All of them were dressed for the cold weather, including Lana, who approached with her arms folded behind her back.
"Well, I guess we'll need to say our goodbyes and then get going," Kiawe said in a wistful tone.
Mallow brushed some snow off her grey coat and let out a resigned sigh. "Yeah, it's been fun, but we've got to get home."
Lana and Mimo smirked and exchanged sneaky glances. Kiawe took a couple of steps toward the main building, his booted feet crunching in the snow. Mimo swayed from side-to-side several times before calling out in a melodic voice.
"Ohhhh, biiig brootherrr!" she sang.
More than a little leery, Kiawe slowly turned his head and looked over his shoulder at his mischievous little sister. "What?" he said.
Mimo's only response was to grin broadly. A second later, Lana grinned as well and pulled her arms from behind her back; a tightly packed sphere of snow in each of her hands.
"SNOWBALL FIGHT!" Lana shouted.
Ash chuckled as he watched Kiawe take two snowballs to the face before chasing after Mimo, ranting and waving his arms wildly. He leaned close enough to the glass window that his breath caused it to slightly fog up. Lana threw snowballs, Mimo threw snowballs and even Mallow joined in. Ash kept watching the exchange until Kiawe crammed a bunch of snow down Mimo's coat only to be plastered in the face by a snowball thrown by Mallow. The world's greatest Pokémon trainer ruefully shook his head and turned away, just as a grinning Mimo said something, while eyeing Mallow, which prompted a furious Kiawe to shove more snow down her coat.
Ash traipsed into the living room and heard some commotion coming from the bathroom. He stepped up to the doorway and found Serena, dressed in her red coat, draping large, fluffy towels over his and Kiawe's Charizard. The large beasts were shivering and hugging their bodies.
"What in the world?" Ash commented while appearing perplexed.
Serena let out a chastising sigh and tossed a towel up over Kiawe's Charizard's shoulders. "I found these two out huffing and puffing at the lake; like they were trying to make a sauna or something."
Ash cocked his head to the side. "But how'd they end up like this?" he asked, noting the fire type's chilled condition.
Serena pursed her lips and directed a stern, disapproving frown at both of the winged creatures. "I think they were trying to find out who's got the bigger…. flamethrower," she said critically. "And they wore themselves out."
The Charizard moaned and shivered. Ash stepped forward and ran a hand over his Pokémon.
"Charizard's never one to back down from a challenge," he said with a wry smile.
An amused smile pulled at Serena's lips. "Reminds me of someone I know…" she said dryly.
Ash glanced at his secret wife. "Hmm?" he grunted in puzzlement.
At that moment, the front door of the building opened and there was the clumping sound of several pairs of boots. Muttering and grumbling echoed through the structure and Ash glanced toward the living room.
"Sounds like they're back," he said.
Serena tossed a towel up over the head of Ash's Charizard and turned toward the door. "Oh, good, I wanted to say goodbye," she said.
As Ash and Serena stepped out of the bathroom, Kiawe was just entering the living room. He was no longer wearing his coat and was his bare-chested, usual self. His face was tense and ashen, his body shivering slightly and his hair was damp. He tried to smile, but his expression was more of a grimace.
"H-hey, Ash," he began in a shaky voice. "Do you know w-where Charizard is?"
A puzzled look spread across Serena's face as she took in Kiawe's appearance. "Uhh, Charizard's back there," she said, pointing toward the bathroom.
Kiawe nodded. "Thanks," he managed. He stepped past Ash and Serena and promptly sneezed.
Toward the kitchen, a coatless Mimo was standing with her arms wrapped around herself. Her yellow and brown hair was matted and dripping.
"I-I don't s-s-suppose you can wh-whip up a thing of hot ch-chocolate, real quick?!" she stammered.
Mallow stood nearby, also missing her winter gear, and was neither damp nor shivering. The green haired girl glanced at the refrigerator.
"Well, I suppose I can make something before we leave," she said.
Lana, soaked, shivering and coatless like Mimo, stepped up and chimed in. "Yeah, that s-sounds g-great," she managed.
Mallow opened the fridge and began rummaging inside. "Let's see…" she said absently.
Serena let out a sigh and stepped toward the kitchen. "Were you all having a snowball fight?!" she said in an even tone.
Mimo and Lana sheepishly turned to face Serena. "Yeah…" they responded at the same time.
Serena put her hands on her hips and sent the two dripping girls a caring but critical look. "Well, you're gonna catch cold if you keep standing around in those wet clothes.
Mallow glanced over her shoulder at Mimo and Lana. The two shivering girls looked at each other and let out soft, humbled groans.
"Yeah, let's go get changed," Mimo said.
"Good idea," Lana added.
With that, the two Alola residents retreated to the closet where their suitcases were located. Serena chuckled and shook her head.
"They sure are characters," she said to Ash.
Ash chuckled. "Yeah, they are," he replied.
Mallow poured some milk into a pot on the stove and started humming happily as she broke up a chocolate bar. Kiawe stepped out of the bathroom and made his way into the kitchen. He was no longer damp but he still looked chilled. He walked over to Mallow and stood next to the stove.
"Oh, hot chocolate, that sounds great!" he said.
Mallow smiled at him and chortled. "Yeah, hopefully it will warm you three up," she said in an amused voice.
Kiawe smiled and blushed slightly. "I'm sure it will," he replied bashfully. A second later, his eyes widened and he rapidly glanced around for Mimo. His devious little sister would no doubt have inserted a suggestive quip into the exchange. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw she was nowhere in sight.
Sporting a happy, tight-lipped smile, Serena stepped up and addressed Mallow and Kiawe. "You two are so cute. How long have you been together?" she said in a cheerful tone.
Kiawe's eyes stretched wider than seemed physically possible. Mallow canted her head to the side and made a thoughtful sound.
"Well, I've known Kiawe ever since I was a kid," she said matter-of-factly. "So, probably… ten or eleven years.
"YEAH, AS FRIENDS!" Kiawe squawked in an intense voice. "WE'RE FRIENDS!"
Serena's eyebrows went up at Kiawe's sharp reply and Mallow chuckled while sending a smile at the apoplectic man. "We went to school with Ash for a year. That's how we got to know him," the almond skinned girl added.
Serena tensely eyed Kaiwe's distress and Mallow's calmness. Finally, things clicked together inside her mind.
"Ohhhh," she said in a tone of realization. "I see…" Serena blushed a little out of embarrassment. "Well, Ash sure talks about you a lot. He really loved being in Alola."
Mallow stirred the pot of steaming chocolate and hummed a bit more. "Yeah, we keep hoping he will come and visit sometime…" she said, casting an amused look over her shoulder at the Champion of Alola.
Ash awkwardly scratched at the back of his head and shrugged. "Uh, I've been meaning to," he said. "Things just keep coming up."
Mallow chortled and gave the pot a final stir before she started retrieving some mugs. She poured out the steaming hot chocolate and let out a happy sigh. She handed a mug to Kiawe, Ash and Serena before taking one for herself.
"I think this will be pretty good," she said confidently.
Kiawe took a sip from his mug and his eyes brightened. "That's really good!" he said.
Mallow laughed and smiled. "I'm glad. Usually I would have put some cinnamon in it but we don't have any."
Kiawe took another sip and pursed his lips before speaking again. "You're a really good cook, Mallow," he said in a sincere tone.
Mallow chortled and made a happy expression. "Thanks, Kiawe!" she sang.
The man from Alola blushed and looked down at his mug. Serena struggled to not snigger as she watched the exchange. It seemed Mallow and Kiawe's relationship was the reverse of what she'd gone through with Ash. Kiawe was the interested party and Mallow was clueless. The girl from Kalos took a sip from her mug and looked over at her man; how glad she was that they were past all the awkward maneuvering of their early days.
The closet door opened and Lana and Mimo stepped out, sporting dry clothes and carrying their suitcases. They marched into the kitchen and Mallow handed them cups of hot chocolate. They took a sip and immediately brightened.
"Mmm, this is good," Lana said.
"Yeah, you can cook anything, Mallow!" Mimo chirped.
Mallow smiled and blushed. "Thanks!" she replied.
The hot chocolate was soon consumed and it was time for final goodbyes. Ash profoundly thanked all of his friends from Alola and promised to come see them. Ash shook hands with Kiawe and reached out a hand for Lana but was quickly engulfed in a hug. Mallow followed suit and Ash chuckled awkwardly as he received friendly affection from the two Alola women.
Kiawe shook Serena's hand while Mallow and Lana gave her enthusiastic hugs. The girls wished her well and invited her to come visit them. Serena thanked them for helping Ash out and expressed her desire to visit Alola.
In the midst of the hugs and friendly comments, Mimo sauntered up to Serena and asked if she was any good at baking bread. Serena shrugged and said that she'd had a few attempts but wasn't terribly good at it. The yellow and brown haired girl then grinned and said that she should keep practicing baking with Ash. She was sure they'd have bun in the oven before long.
Puzzled by the comment, Serena simply nodded and wished Mimo well. With the goodbyes finished, the Alola crew gathered up their things and headed for the door. They donned their coats and winter gear, bid farewell one last time and headed down the path toward the stairway. As they walked, Mimo cast one last sneaky glance back at Serena and bounced her eyebrows. With a start, the girl from Kalos finally got the sensual meaning of what the horny teen had said a minute earlier.
Serena tensed up and turned a deep shade of red. Ash glanced over and raised an eyebrow.
"Something wrong?" he asked.
Serena let out a tense, stilted laugh. "Uhh, nah, just a little…. joke. That's all…" she said, waving her right hand dismissively.
Ash smiled and turned back toward his friends from Alola. He waved at them and they waved back. A few seconds later, they disappeared below the hillside and all was quiet. He looked to his right at Serena and placed his right hand on her left shoulder. Serena immediately smiled and cast a loving, sidelong glance at him. He squeezed her shoulder and she started to snigger. After a few seconds of mutual staring, they stepped back and closed the front door.
As Serena turned away from the door, her mind returned to Mimo's inappropriate, suggestive comment. It had been terribly embarrassing but at the same time, it was nearly true. Had she not been a little too enthusiastic with her movements the previous night, she and Ash surely would have done some romantic cooking together. There was no chance that the proverbial loaf of bread would come of it, but the sentiment was on target.
Serena's mind thought back to the night before. She remembered the excitement, the stimulation the anticipation and the look on Ash's face! She felt a tingle in her lower regions and eyed her man. She'd messed it up the previous night, but today was another chance for sensual romance and happy endings!
Ash looked in her direction and Serena felt her heart flutter. Yes, it was time to get things rolling once again, but a little slower this time! A second later, Ash opened his mouth to speak.
"So, what do you want to do today?" he asked in an even tone.
A sneaky smile spread across Serena's face and she started to snigger. Without a word, she stepped away from the door and starting walking toward the living room. As she moved, Ash noticed that she was letting her hips sway more than usual and her butt to rock from side-to-side. The girl he loved cast an inviting look over her shoulder, bounced her eyebrows and kept walking. Ash felt a thrill shoot through him and stepped after her!
Serena moved to the center of the living room and turned to face Ash. She had a smoldering smile fixed on her face and her blue eyes sparkled with desire. Her golden hair was a bit unkempt and splayed out all over her red coat. She subtly puckered her lips and Ash grinned. He stepped forward until he was standing right in front of her. He looked down at her, and she up at him.
Both of them struggled to keep from giggling with anticipation. After a moment of silence, Ash reached his arms around her body and she mirrored his movements. She wrapped her slender arms around his torso and held him tight. He slipped one hand up behind her head while his other trailed down to the lowest part of her waist. He pulled her into a soft kiss and both of them hummed in enjoyment as their lips buzzed with sweet, warm energy.
The kiss lasted for a good while. Serena's arms moved up Ash's back and her hands clawed at his strong, muscular back. Ash's lower hand dropped a bit more and his fingers glided over the rounded flesh of Serena's cute buttocks. The girl from Kalos responded with the faintest of giggles. A second later, Ash grinned and used his fingers to gently squeeze her left butt cheek. Serena squeaked in delight and laughed.
The two lovers rubbed their noses together and stared into each other's eyes. Finally, Serena took a breath and lifted her arms so she could rest them on top of Ash's shoulders. She blew out a hot breath and spoke in a loving voice.
"You know, Ash, there's something we haven't ever done," she whispered.
Ash felt a tingle in his loins. He vividly remembered Serena's erotic dance the night before. Was it finally time for them to be together?!
"What's that?" he said coyly.
Serena chortled and smiled warmly. She slowly breathed in and out and finally answered in a whisper.
"We haven't ever put up a Christmas tree," she said.
Ash was surprised twice over. First, that Serena wasn't suggesting they make for the bedroom. Second, at the realization that they hadn't ever put up a Christmas tree. How had that slipped by?
"Uhhh, yeah," Ash replied in a puzzled voice. He pursed his lips and spoke in a diplomatic tone. "I didn't figure you'd be thinking about that," he said.
A sheepish look flitted across Serena's face. She subtly shrugged and then smiled at Ash.
"Well, this is our home now," she said with sincerity. She softly kissed Ash on the lips. "And I really want to decorate it." She kissed him again. "It is nearly Christmas, after all," she whispered.
Ash felt a little disappointed over not heading for the bedroom, but the fact that Serena was calling this their home more than made up for it. He grinned and spoke in a low voice.
"So, what do you want to decorate?" he asked.
Serena kissed him again and smiled. "Well, we can start with a Christmas tree," she said.
Ash frowned. "Uh, we don't have a Christmas tree," he said flatly.
Serena continued smiling and playfully canted her head to the side. "No, but you do have a saw, right?"
Ash pursed his lips. "You wanna go cut down a tree?" he said.
Serena sniggered and nodded. "Sounds fun, right?" she said.
Ash started to roll his eyes but Serena's enthusiasm quickly changed his mood. "Well, I guess we could," he said, a smile pulling at his lips.
Serena made a few happy sounds and wiggled her body excitedly. "It'll be our first real Christmas!" she sang.
Ash sniggered and gave his secret wife small kiss on the nose. "Well, let's get going before it gets dark."
Serena giggled and headed for the backdoor. She was already wearing her coat and cold weather clothes and she waited by the exit while Ash got changed. A minute later, the world's greatest Pokémon trainer clumped toward her in winter boots and a puffy, blue coat. Serena chortled and led the way outside.
Ash retrieved a saw from the storage shed and set out for the forest with Serena at his side. Sensing activity, Pikachu dashed through the snow to join the pair. Talonflame soared past and circled above, also deciding to join the group. As they passed the tree line, Pikachu jumped up on Ash's shoulder and let out a happy cry. Ash laughed and gave his best buddy a rub on the head.
Ash and Serena pushed past snow-covered trees and waded through mounds of glittering winter-fall. Soon, they were deep in the forest and the girl from Kalos started prancing from tree to tree, scrutinizing each as a potential Christmas tree. Ash couldn't help but laugh as he watched his girlfriend's bubbly personality overflow.
After the better part of a half-hour, Serena finally settled on an elegant and symmetrical pine tree. It looked just like a traditional Christmas tree and Ash quickly went to work. Talonflame perched on a nearby branch and Pikachu cozied up inside Serena's coat, with his head sticking out just below her chin. All of them watched as Ash sawed away at the base of the tree. Soon, there was a cracking sound as the trunk gave way and the pine tree toppled over.
Serena let out a happy sigh and sauntered up to her man. She lovingly wrapped her arms around him and gave him a kiss on his rosy, right cheek. The two of them took a moment to take in the sight of their prize tree and then set about hauling it back to the main building.
The sky was just starting to darken when Ash and Serena reached the back door of the main building. Both of them were breathing hard after dragging the tree all the way back home. They let out a satisfied and tired sigh before heading inside. Once the tree was secure in the living room, they moved to the laundry room and stripped off their coats and winter pants.
Ash pulled off his shirt and stood bare-chested for a moment, much to Serena's delight. She openly ogled her man and then stepped to where her clothes were kept. She rubbed her hands together and breathed on them. Both of them were chilled after the outdoor excursion. Ash pulled on a shirt and Serena dropped her leggings, much to Ash's delight. The girl from Kalos cast an inviting, sidelong glance at Ash and started absently rummaging in a drawer. Ash grinned and stepped forward.
The man from Pallet Town moved behind his secret wife and closely examined her. She was wearing a pink sweatshirt on her torso but from the waist down she sported only a pair of pink panties. Ash leaned forward, rested his chin on Serena's right shoulder and gently clasped his hands over the tops of her shoulders.
Serena sniggered softly and leaned her head to the side so she could nuzzle against her man's cheek. Ash grinned and slid his hands down her back and past her waist. He kept moving lower and his fingers ran over the smooth, cold, curved flesh of Serena's posterior. Serena inhaled sharply and let out a faint, girlish squeak. Ash grinned and turned his palms so he could cup each of her butt cheeks with a hand. Serena let out a shuddering breath and Ash whispered in a sultry voice.
"Looks like you got a bit chilled out there," he breathed into her ear.
Serena whimpered and leaned backward against Ash's chest. The two of them swayed and cuddled together, Ash slowly and gently squeezing his girl's scrumptious bottom.
"You have warm hands, Ash," Serena whispered in a dreamy voice.
Ash nuzzled against her ear and playfully kissed her right cheek. "I'm happy to warm you up," he said in a sultry voice.
Serena reached behind her backside and rested her hands atop Ash's. She joined him in his movements and a small shiver went through her body. They pressed their bodies together and continued their movements until Serena's butt cheeks were warm to the touch. The girl from Kalos let out a happy sigh and turned around to face Ash. She leaned forward and let her body melt into his.
"I'm really glad to be home for Christmas, Ash," she said.
Ash smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "I'm glad you're here too," he replied in a soft, gentle voice.
The two lovers held the embrace for the better part of a minute before they let out happy sighs and pulled apart. Serena smiled, wiggled her body for Ash's viewing pleasure and then started donning her clothing. Ash watched the entire process, grinning and waiting for what was next. Once Serena was fully-clothed, she sent her man a mysterious look and spoke in a playful tone.
"So, wanna decorate the tree?"
Ash sniggered and nodded. "Sure," he replied.
Serena smiled in return and stepped toward the laundry room exit. Still smiling, Ash followed on her heels.
"I figured you'd want to do something a little romantic first," he said in a jovial tone.
Serena sniggered naughtily and stepped into the living room. She walked around the tree and examined it before glancing at Ash.
"Now, Ash," she said in a playful, chastising tone. "You don't want to get your Christmas presents all at once, do you?"
The suggestive glint in Serena's eyes made Ash's loins twitch. Once again, the vivid image of Serena dancing in her red lingerie flashed inside his mind. How had he gotten so lucky to have her as his partner?!
Both of them sniggered and shared furtive glances. After a short discussion, furniture was moved, preparations made and soon the tree was raised to a standing position. Ash tested the tree's stability and stepped back. The two of them stood close together and took in the sight. Serena's right hand dropped down and her fingers slipped between the fingers of Ash's left. They gently clasped their palms together and Serena spoke in soft, happy tone.
"It sure is beautiful," she whispered.
Ash chuckled. "It's not even decorated yet."
Serena shrugged. "Doesn't make it any less beautiful," she replied.
They sniggered and spent a moment enjoying the sight. Serena abruptly looked up and pointed at the top of the tree.
"Say, is that mistletoe?" she said.
Ash eyed the tree and frowned. "Uh, where?" he said.
Grinning, Serena leaned close to her man and continued pointing at the top of the tree. "Right there!" she said.
Ash squinted. "I don't see anyth‑" he stopped mid sentence when he caught sight of Serena's expression. She was staring at him with wide, glimmering eyes full of love and appreciation. The man from Pallet Town smiled and chuckled once.
"Oh, I think I see it now," he said.
Serena smiled broadly. "Good!" she breathed.
Ash slipped his right hand behind Serena's head. She slipped her arms behind his back. They turned toward each other, stared into each other's eyes and leaned close. Suddenly, without warning, the back door burst open and a dozen of Ash's Pokémon along with all of Serena's Pokémon dashed inside!
Bulbasaur, Oshawott, Charizard, Delphox and Lucario were all carrying crude parcels made of wood, leaves and other natural materials. The packages were tied with crude bows made from similar materials. All of the Pokémon looked pleased beyond description and sported happy faces and smiling eyes.
Ash and Serena immediately pulled apart and shared a disappointed yet amused laugh.
"Later, I guess," Serena whispered, struggling to keep a ridiculous grin off her face.
Ash sniggered. "Yeah, later," he replied in an equally amused voice.
The Pokémon quickly gathered around Ash and Serena. They presented their gifts to their respective trainers and were thoroughly thanked in return. The gifts were placed beneath the tree while Serena retrieved a box of ornaments and other decorations. Soon, happy cries and laughter were sounding as humans and Pokémon went to work turning the plain pine tree into a proper Christmas centerpiece.
Bulbasaur used its vines to place decorations; Swellow skillfully lifted decorations up above where others could reach; Sylveon used her Fairy Wind to make boring ornaments sparkle. Soon, the tree was covered with beautiful lights, shimmering tinsel and ornaments of all shapes and sizes. When most of the decorating was complete, Serena excused herself to the kitchen and began to bake several batches of Christmas cookies.
Ash continued decorating with the Pokémon. They added a few additional ornaments to the tree and finished it off by topping the pine with a shining star. Just as they finished the last of the decorations, the delicious smell of cookies started to waft out of the kitchen. Serena returned to the living room and Ash greeted her with a warm smile.
"Hey, you're just in time," he said.
Serena sent him a curious look. "Hmm, for what?" she asked.
Ash grinned and looked at Pikachu. "Okay, buddy," he said. "Plug it in!"
Pikachu let out a pleasant chirp and plugged a couple of electric cords together. Instantly, the well-decorated tree was lit up with all sorts of colored lights. Serena softly gasped in a breath as she took in the beautiful, cheery sight.
"Wow!" she breathed. She looked at Ash and sent him a warm smile. "You really did a great job!"
Ash gave a nonchalant shrug and sauntered up to Serena's right side. He leaned against her and ran his left hand over the small of her back.
"Yeah, I think it turned out pretty good," he said.
Serena leaned her head to the side and nuzzled against Ash's cheek. Ash sighed happily and slid his left hand down a little so his fingers could play over the curves of Serena's butt. A small shiver rippled through Serena's body and she sniggered naughtily.
"Having fun," she whispered.
Ash sent his girl a smoldering, sidelong glance. "Not as much as we'll have later," he breathed.
Serena inhaled sharply and another shiver rippled through her. She pressed her lips tightly together and tried to maintain a polite smile. Despite her best efforts, a few excited giggles broke through her façade and the corners of her mouth turned upward. She finally sighed and spoke in a wistful tone.
"Have I told you how happy I am to be back?" she said.
Ash squeezed Serena's right butt cheek, eliciting a girlish squeak from his woman. "Not in the last five minutes," he whispered.
Serena sniggered and tensely glanced around at the Pokémon in the room. Fortunately, all of them were either focused on the tree or each other. Despite her love for Ash and desire to be romantic with him, she just couldn't perform sexy acts in view of others. The cheeks of her face blushed red out of embarrassment and she slightly pulled away from Ash.
"Well, I'll be sure to tell you over and over tonight," she whispered.
Ash stared at her with his sparkling, brown eyes and Serena couldn't resist giving him a small peck on the lips. "I'll be sure to show you how much I missed you, too!" she added in a sultry voice.
Ash chuckled. "I think you already did that last night," he said with a grin.
Serena's cheeks blushed a deeper red and she cringed subtly. She really, really didn't want anyone ever learning of the "performance" she put on for Ash the previous night. A timer suddenly sounded from the kitchen and Serena let out a pleased hum.
"Ah, that's the cookies," she said.
I stood at the foot of the beautiful Christmas tree with Glaceon at my side. In my time traveling with Serena, I'd seen many impressive decorations and pieces of art. The Christmas tree wasn't a carefully sculpted statue or a marvelous painting. It was a bit chaotic and there were plenty of imperfections. However, it was crafted with love and filled with heart. It was a symbol of the happiness that Ash and Serena shared and that made it special.
Glaceon playfully nudged me and asked if he should create some snow to dress up the tree in wintery splendor. I chuckled and replied that he should only if he was content with mopping up the water when his snow melted.
My love chuckled in return and lovingly nuzzled against my neck. I nuzzled back and softly cooed at his touches. I smelled my love's fur and sighed happily. A moment later, my ears perked up as I heard Delphox speaking in a tone she typically never used. She chirped and sang in a flirtatious manner as she presented a gift… to Lucario!
I looked to the side and saw the fire fox using both her arms to hold out her gift to Ash's Pokémon. The fighting type looked clueless and grunted awkwardly as it received the gift. It stared at the parcel with uncertain curiosity. Delphox smiled, chirped a happy reply and strode away.
With my mouth agape, I smoothly padded across the floor towards Delphox. In all my years with her, I'd never seen her so much as look at another Pokémon. What had brought this on?! I stepped up to my performance partner and inquired as to what was going on inside her heart.
Delphox let out a playful growl and said that she was just laying some ground work. She added that since Serena had closed the book on her performance career, it was time to think about all the other things she'd never had time for before now.
I scrunched up my mouth and decided to not mince words. I asked her why in the world she was interested in Lucario of all Pokémon. The aura type was utterly clueless about relationships and completely weirded out by any mention of mating.
Delphox chuckled and sent a look of desire in Lucario's direction. She said the fighting type was a heroic hunk of a Pokémon and quite a catch. She then shrugged and said that if Serena could get through Ash's monumental denseness, surely she could handle a shy steel type.
I looked at Lucario and saw the dog-like creature was awkwardly glancing around, trying to figure out what to do with the parcel it was holding. I sighed and mentioned in an offhand manner that steel types were weak to fire types and Delphox should be careful in how she proceeded.
Delphox continued staring at Lucario and emitted a sultry growl. She agreed that steel was weak to fire; she was counting on that…
I watched as Lucario pulled open a cabinet and stuffed the gift inside. The fighting type folded its arms behind its back and tried to look as causal as possible as it walked away. Delphox chuckled and I let out a sigh. Drama was sure to be in our immediate future!
Serena pulled a pair of trays out of the oven and the kitchen was filled with the sweet smell of perfectly baked cookies. The golden haired baker had made a batch of sugar cookies and a batch of chocolate chip cookies. She set them down to cool as Ash looked on with mouth watering.
Serena chuckled and commented that she intended to make a few more types of cookies later in the week, but this was a decent start. Ash only partially heard her as he was already chomping down on of the chocolate chip treats. He complimented Serena on how delicious it was and both of them shared loving gazes.
A few minutes and a few cookies later, Ash and Serena were piling some of the tasty bounty into a basket lined with a towel. Both of them were feeling full of holiday cheer and they decided that it was only right that they go pay Delia a visit. Ash retrieved the present he'd gotten for his mom while Serena briefly fretted that she didn't have anything to give the mother of the man she loved. Ash dismissed her concerns and the two of them set out on the path down to Pallet Town.
The sun had fully set by now and there was only a faint glow near the horizon. Ash and Serena traipsed down the stairway and across the frozen, dirt road toward the Ketchum residence. It was a short, chilly trip and they arrived wishing they'd worn more than just their coats. Delia pulled open the door and let out a happy greeting.
"Oh, Ash, Serena, I didn't know you were coming!" Delia said cheerfully.
Ash and Serena promptly stepped inside and took a few breaths of the warm air. "Yeah, we wanted to surprise you!" Ash said with a smile.
Serena let out a happy squeak and presented the basket of cookies she was holding. "Merry Christmas!" she said joyfully.
Delia gasped in happy surprise and held a hand over her heart. "Ohh, Serena, that's so kind of you!" she sang. "You just got back yesterday and you're already hard at work."
Serena handed the basket to Delia and beamed. "Well, I'm glad to be back!" she said in a confident and content voice.
Delia smelled the basket and glanced at her son and Serena. She blushed slightly and struggled to suppress a giggle.
"Are you staying for dinner?" the auburn haired woman said.
Ash and Serena exchanged glances. They hadn't discussed their plans for dinner. Ash barely hesitated before speaking up in an enthusiastic voice.
"Sure, that'd be great!"
Delia laughed politely and Serena sniggered. Ash's love of food was a constant in the universe. A second later, Ash glanced down at the gift he was holding and held it out for his mother.
"Oh, uh, Merry Christmas, mom!" he said with a smile.
Delia beamed and accepted the gift. "Thank you, Ash," she said with love and sincerity.
The three of them shared a few more kind words before Delia gestured toward the kitchen and looked at Serena. "Serena, how would you like to help me get a few things ready?" she then glanced over at Ash. "Ash, if you could set the table?"
Serena and Ash happily agreed and soon they were setting about their tasks. Ash cleared a few things off of the table and started putting out dishes and silverware. Serena moved into the kitchen and helped Delia prepare a few items for dinner. The two women chatted about lighthearted matters until Mr. Mime stepped into the dining room and frowned at Ash's setup.
"Hey, I'm doing it right!" Ash retorted to the psychic type.
Mr. Mime shook its head and waved a finger in rebuke. The housekeeper stepped up and began shifting a few plates and silverware around. Ash protested and soon the two of them were exchanging annoyed barks and glares.
Delia glanced over her shoulder and chuckled. "Maybe I should have just let Mimey take care of the table. It doesn't like others doing it."
Serena giggled and stole a glance at Ash before getting back to preparing food. She looked over at Delia and frowned before speaking.
"Um, I'm sorry I didn't have a gift to give you," Serena said in a remorseful voice.
Delia made a happy sound and shook her head in a dismissive manner. She leaned close to Serena and spoke in a soft whisper.
"Serena, you're a wonderful gift to Ash, and that's more than enough for me!" she said in a warm voice.
Serena's lips trembled and she felt like her heart could burst. She took a ragged breath and smiled while her eyes started to become moist.
"Thanks, Delia!" she breathed. "That really means a lot!"
Delia smiled and beamed at Serena. A moment later she glanced over her shoulder at Ash and blushed before turning back to Serena.
"Serena, I suppose after last night, you'll be sleeping up at the reserve from now on?" Ash's mother said in a tight, embarrassed voice.
Serena's eyes widened and her face turned a shade of red far darker than Delia's. "UHHH, uh," she stammered. Her mind spun as she tried to form a reply. The previous evening, she'd admitted to Delia her intention to spend the night with Ash. Ash's mother had given her blessing to the union and wished her luck. How could she possibly explain that they hadn't been intimate without getting into the incredibly embarrassing details of what had happened?!
"Uhh, well," Serena hesitated. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure that Ash and Mimey were fully distracted. "See, we, uh, didn't actually get together…"
Delia appeared surprised. She started to open her mouth but then simply smiled. Serena was very grateful for the lack of questions. She blew out a tense sigh and continued.
"I mean, uh, we had fun…" Serena said in a low voice. Delia struggled to contain a giggle while Serena turned a deeper red. "But we didn't actually….. uh…. you know…."
Delia pressed her lips tightly together and gave an understanding nod. Sweat was breaking out on Serena's forehead. She waved a hand to fan herself and continued.
"So, uh, I don't know where I'll be sleeping. Maybe down here; maybe up there…"
Looking supremely pleased and excited, Delia was silent for a moment before she leaned close to Serena and whispered in a bashful tone. "Well, whatever your decision, I'm sure you'll make Ash very happy!"
Serena felt like her face was on fire. She managed a smile and wiped at her brow. She was very glad that Delia approved of her relationship with Ash, but she needed to find a subtler way of explaining things to her. That had been terribly embarrassing…
Dinner with Delia went wonderfully. The three of them sat around the table, enjoying the food and swapping stories. Serena told a lot more about what had happened during her stay in Kalos and affirmed that she was back to stay in Kanto. Ash told a few tales of his old days chasing gym badges and battling trainers. Delia also chimed in a made a few amusing if embarrassing comments about a younger, brasher Ash. There was plenty of laughter, smiles and happiness.
Time passed and soon it was late in the evening. Ash and Serena wished Delia well and, after exchanging a few hugs, they set out for the reserve. Ash was happily surprised that Serena had decided to travel back with him despite it being so late. When he asked about where she'd be sleeping that night, she merely bounced her eyebrows and sent him coy stare.
With puffs of mist billowing from their mouths, Ash and Serena reached the reserve and quickly moved through the front door. They shivered and rubbed their hands together as they discarded their winter coats. They headed into the kitchen where Serena began fixing some hot chocolate to warm them up. As she stood in front of the stove, Ash stepped behind her and tenderly ran his hands over her shoulders and down her arms.
Serena let out a few giggles as Ash caressed first her back and then her sides. Eventually his hands reached her waist and he pulled them around to her backside so he could cup both of her butt cheeks with his palms. Serena inhaled sharply and sent a naughty glance over her right shoulder.
"You seem to really like exploring back there," she joked in an excited voice.
Ash sniggered and leaned forward so his lips were close to her right ear. "Well, you seem to like showing off what you've got back there, so I'm just following your lead."
A thrill shot through Serena's body and she bit the tip of her tongue. She hesitated but ultimately couldn't resist wiggling her posterior, much to the delight of Ash. The man from Kanto chuckled and gave her cheeks a squeeze. Serena let out a sensual hum and gasped a moment later as Ash moved his hands above her waist before slipping his fingers down, inside the back of her pants.
Serena's eyes widened in sensual excitement. If she hadn't been so chilled from their walk to the reserve, she might have stolen away with Ash to his bedroom and enthusiastically consummated their relationship. As it was, she merely hummed erotically and enjoyed the feeling of Ash's warm hands running over the chilled flesh of her buttocks.
The next few minutes were filled with loving hums and sensual gasps. Serena warmed the hot cocoa while Ash warmed her posterior. Thanks to the fires of romance burning inside them, both of them were feeling mostly free of chill by the time the cocoa was ready. They each took a steaming mug of the sweet, hazel liquid and began sipping it while they eyed each other. They smirked, sniggered and wondered who would make the first move. Finally, Serena sauntered forward, swaying her hips seductively, and leaned her head toward Ash's left ear.
"Let's check to make sure nobody's still inside," she whispered.
Ash's eyes brightened and he locked gazes with Serena. She sniggered and bit her lower lip out of bashfulness before continuing.
"We wouldn't want a repeat of Pika-interruptus, would we?"
Ash sniggered. "No, we wouldn't," he agreed.
The two lovers exchanged excited glances and slowly made their way into the living room. They performed a quick search of the premises and failed to find any of their Pokémon. Neither of them knew where their friends were, but they were fine with that. Ash and Serena reunited in the living room and spent a moment taking in the sight of the other and savoring the moment. With a grin on his face, Ash stepped over and threw the light switch, extinguishing the overhead illumination and leaving the room bathed in the dim, multicolored glow from the Christmas tree.
Ash and Serena paused for a moment to take in the sight of the tree. It was warm, welcoming and full of holiday spirit. All their work decorating in had more than paid off. Serena let out a happy sigh and slowly walked over to Ash. She gently rested her head against his chest and hugged him around his waist.
"Merry Christmas, Ash!" she breathed.
Ash smiled and gently embraced his secret wife. "Merry Christmas, Serena!" he whispered.
A small shiver ran through Serena's body and Ash promptly rubbed her back. He smiled and spoke in a caring tone.
"Still feeling a bit cold?" he asked.
Serena smiled and shrugged. "Maybe a little," she replied.
Ash held her close and rocked side-to-side with her. "Well, let's get you warmed up," he said.
A sparking tingle snapped inside Serena's loins and she wondered if this was the moment she would share her first time with Ash. She looked deep into her man's eyes and nuzzled her nose against his cheek. Ash smiled and took a step to the side, guiding her toward the couch. Ash grabbed a blanket and sat down in one corner of the couch. He gently pulled Serena down into his lap and she giggled as she settled down atop him. Ash unfurled the blanket and draped it over both of them before wrapping his arms around Serena, beneath the covering.
The two of them snuggled up and Ash breathed a sultry whisper into Serena's right ear. "Are you warmer now?" he asked.
Serena smiled and sniggered. She felt so romantic and so loved. She sighed happily and looked back over her shoulder.
"This is wonderful, Ash," she said softly.
Ash held Serena and Serena melted into her man. A minute passed and a naughty smile suddenly spread across Serena's face. She pursed her lips and spoke in a teasing voice.
"There's still one thing missing," she said.
"Hmm?" Ash grunted.
Without a word, Serena sniggered and started to shift herself in Ash's lap. She wiggled her butt, trying to find just the right place… Ash grunted again and Serena chuckled. A moment later, Serena felt a familiar firmness start to form beneath the soft, scrumptious cheeks of her buttocks. She wiggled again so the firmness was nestled between her cheeks and giggled excitedly. Ash grunted yet again and Serena leaned back against his chest.
"Now it's perfect!" she breathed.
Ash sniggered and gave her torso a squeeze. "I love you," he whispered.
"Love you too," Serena softly replied.
Both of them let out contented sighs and gazed at the glowing tree and the dim light which played across the living room. This was the definition of romance and peace. The only sounds were that of their slow breathing and the soft rustle of the blanket each time they shifted. Time slowly ticked by and suddenly the silence was interrupted by the sound of muffled, melodic voices filtering through the walls from outside.
Ash perked up and a curious expression crossed Serena's face. The voices resolved into a song-like tune and Serena quickly recognized it as the Christmas carol "Silent Night".
"Are those the Pokémon?" Serena queried.
Ash cocked his head to the side and listened to the warbling melody. "I think so," he said.
Lucario waved its paws in an even, rhythmic manner as it kept an eye on the gathering of Pokémon in front of him. Never would he have imagined himself as a director of music, but after a nudge from Delphox, here he was, keeping all the Pokémon in-time and in tune.
The impromptu choir was made up of many of Ash's Pokémon and a fair number of the reserve's residents. Bayleef, Swellow, Torkoal, Oshawott, Dragonite, Pignite and Pikachu were all singing along with Delphox and Sylveon. There were also some Chimecho and a Chatot adding to the melody.
The Pokémon hit one of the chorus lines perfectly and Lucario couldn't help but grin. The symmetry and timing of music was a natural fit for his love of order and discipline. A tear nearly came to his eye as he let out a satisfied growl of enjoyment. He glanced at Delphox and she stared back at him, offering him a sly wink and smile. She'd definitely made the correct call.
Serena listened to the muffled choir for a few seconds and looked back at Ash. "I guess we know where they all went," she commented.
Ash chuckled and nodded. "Yep," he replied.
Serena smiled, snuggled against Ash and let out a happy sigh. "I'm really glad to be back, Ash," she said.
"I'm glad you're back, too," he said.
Serena leaned her head to the side and rested it on Ash's shoulder. "Mmmm, remind me to make the Pokémon some Poké Puffs," she said in a dreamy voice.
Ash smiled. "I will," he replied.
Serena shifted her position and relaxed against Ash's chest. She reached down and gently clasped her hands around his. Her breathing was slow and her movements subtle. Ash smiled and gingerly rubbed his nose against the fluff of golden hair which splayed out from behind her head. He breathed in her sweet scent and savored the closeness of her body. Everything was perfect!
Some minutes passed; the Pokémon Christmas carol came to an end and the room was plunged into silence. Ash and Serena finally warmed up and soon the thoughts of Pallet Town's favorite Pokémon Master turned to what they were going to do for the rest of the night. Given Serena's flirtations and their previous interactions he figured their later activities would involve much more snuggling, however this time without clothing. Ash smiled and slowly took a breath. It was time to get down to business!
"Hey, Serena…" Ash whispered in a playful tone.
There was no response from the woman he loved. She slowly breathed and didn't make so much as a move.
Ash waited a moment and spoke again. "Serena…"
Again, there was no response. Puzzled, Ash carefully leaned his head forward so he could see Serena's face. He instantly saw the issue. She had her eyes closed and a slack expression on her face. His secret wife had drifted off to sleep.
Ash pursed his lips and considered his options. It would be a simple matter to gently nudge Serena and wake her up. With how things had gone between them that evening, she would almost certainly resume their slow and steady advance toward intimacy. Part of Ash really wanted to awaken Serena and become one with her, but as he looked at her beautiful, peaceful face; a few stray strands of golden hair lying over her features, he simply couldn't disturb her.
With an inaudible, happy sigh, Ash relaxed and sank in to the couch. He savored the feeling of Serena lying atop him and closed his eyes. Soon, he joined her in wonderful, restful sleep; both of them lit by the gentle glow of their cheery Christmas tree.
