I groaned softly as I woke up, feeling a bit of exhaustion for the first time in a while as the dim light from the purple sun and sky shone into my room. Looking around my room, I raised an eyebrow in confusion at the clothes scattered everywhere and the incredibly sticky feeling all over my body until I felt something move on my right and the memories slowly hit me. I just grinned as I wrapped my arm around the naked waist of Akeno, who just smiled as she snuggled further into me and I chuckled as I laid back down.
'…I actually had sex.' I thought with a happy smile before I winced as I felt the ache in my crotch.
Maybe using 'Quadruple Pleasure and Stamina Enhancer' wasn't such a good idea.
"Mhm~ Good morning~" Akeno's voice came out softly and I looked down to see her looking up at me with a smile, making me smile as I kissed her softly. She moaned softly as I slowly caressed her side.
"Last night was…" I trailed off as I couldn't find the words to describe and she just giggled.
"Incredible? Amazing? Pleasurable?" I just nodded at every word and she just smiled as we laid there in silence, basking in the afterglow for the next few seconds before I notice something new on my body.
"Uh, what is this?" I asked as I pointed at the new tattoo on the right side of my chest. A blue rose with thorny vines around it and large black wings spreading out to the sides. Looking her over, I noticed the same tattoo over her stomach, where her womb was, and she smiled softly as she slowly rubbed her finger over mine.
"It's a Mating Mark, something valuable amongst Fallen Angels. My mother and father had the same ones, though his was on his shoulder and Mom's was on her right breast. It's to show Fallen Angels as well as other supernatural species that you're taken by another Fallen. It is something considered sacred by all Fallen Angels since it was the last thing the big G up there, as you call him, devised for them after the War ended.."
"I see." I muttered as I caressed hers, making her giggle softly before I laid my head back down and she laid back on my chest while still softly rubbing the tattoo. The atmosphere was content for the next few seconds before the door was blasted open.
"Isa! An emergency! I can't find Akeno-!" Rias stopped shouting as soon as she noticed Akeno and I staring at her with an eyebrow raised, blushing bright red as she saw our current states before quickly rushing out and closing the door behind her.
"Sorry!" She shouted.
"I'll be out in a few minutes, Rias!"I sighed at Akeno's words before she stood up, making me whistle lowly as I saw her mouthwatering naked body slowly walking towards the shower before she stopped at the door.
"Going to join me?" She asked with a smirk and I just groaned in relief as I stood up from bed and stretched, relieving several muscles I didn't even know I had before I followed her.
Looks like we're not done yet.
Later that morning:
"Y-You guys do r-realize that e-everyone could h-hear you, right?" Rias asked with a slight stutter and a bright red face, Koneko next to her with her usual stoic face, but I could see the slight blush on her face that she was trying to suppress. I also caught the younger maids giving Akeno and I suggestive glances and I knew she noticed as she just smiled and waved at them.
"Yeah, we know." I said with a shrug, making Akeno as Rias just sighed while Koneko started walking towards the Dining Hall.
"I-I thought you said you were going to wait?" Rias asked Akeno as we followed after Koneko.
"I did, but then I wanted to give it to him and I just felt the moment was right." Rias nodded slightly as we continued walking before she blushed slightly as she turned to Akeno.
"…How was yesterday?"
And that's my cue. I quickly walked to join Koneko, ignoring Akeno's giggling and their conversation as I patted Koneko on the head as soon as I walked alongside her.
"Did you sleep alright?" She nodded.
"How many this time?" I asked and she just raised a finger.
"Just one, but it was not that bad." I just smiled and nodded as we continued walking, Rias and Akeno giggling behind us.
"After training today, do you want to start with your training?"
"Yes, please. Gasper's finished." The last part caught my attenttion and I turned to stare at her.
"100% and can stay awake after training." She continued and I smiled as I nodded before turning back forward.
"Then that's two people I need to train today. Go fetch him and come to me after my training. We'll begin with both of your training regimes today." She nodded and gave me a slight smile as I just chuckled and continued walking.
"He was how big?!" I sigehd as I heard Rias' loud exclaim, choosing to ignore them as Koneko just gave me a sympathetic pat on the leg.
"I do hope that I won't be having any nieces or nephews for the near future?" Venelana asked as soon as we wlaked in and Akeno just blushed slightly as I chuckled.
"We made sure to use every contraception rune and spell we know, so there's no need to worry, Lady Gremory."
"Good, or else, you'd have to relearn everything I taught you, wouldn't you?" She said as she glanced up from where she was reading a piece of power and I paled slightly as I saw her eyes slightly glowing, nodding shakily.
"Now, now, dear. There's no need to stress the boy like that. Why, I remember a certain brown-haired girl nearly stressing herself to death when her first condom broke." Zeoticus said from the head of the table where he read through the newspaper.
"Zeoticus!" She exclaimed in shock and slight embarrassment, if the slight blush on her face was to be considered, making him chuckle as he put the newspaper down.
"I kid, my love. It's just a joke." He placated, making her huff as she turned her face to the other side.
"A tasteless one at that." She muttered and he just chuckled as I stared at them before turning to an exasperated Rias.
"Did I wake up in an alternate universe or did Lady Venelana just pout?" The lady in question just pouted even more as Rias giggled.
"It's a special day today, so they tend to act a lot more…uh, friendly, I guess?" She said with an unsure smile and I quickly went through the entire calender in my mind, skipping over many festivals, anniversaries and celebrations before I figured it out.
"It's Lord Sirzechs' birthday! I completely forgot!" I exclaimed with a panic look on my face, making Rias and Akeno giggle as Venelana, Zeoticus and Koneko just looked amused.
"And here I thought you were prepared or everything."
"No, I'm just playing. I already have his gift." Rias was shocked at my words before she glared at me, making me raise an eyebrow.
"What? Did you think I'd forget the birthday of the second best friend I made in this world?" She just grumbled at my words.
"Whose the first?" Zeoticus asked with a smirk and I just smirked back.
"Who else?" I asked back, making him chuckle as he nodded while making everyone sigh at our antics.
"Now then, I'll go and train with Okita while you ladies go and buy your gifts. And don't look so surprised, Rias. I know the reason you were looking for Akeno this morning was to get a second opinion on what gift to buy." She just blushed slightly as I chuckled before turning to walk out.
"I'll see you later at training, right?" I asked Koneko and she nodded, making me smile as I patted her head and gave Akeno a quick kiss. Walking out of the room, I stopped right at the door before I quickly turned and walked towards the dining table.
"Please forgive me for not eating with you this morning, Lord and Lady Gremory, but I've already missed almost seven months of trianing and I'd rather not lose any more." I said as I quickly made a toasted bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the amused smirks they gave me made me chuckle as I bowed slightly before rushing out of the room and towards Training Ground #2, more commonly known as 'Isaiah's Paradise' by everyone else in the Gremory Castle.
Time to do some intensive training.
In Training Ground #2:
"That's the look of a man who's had the best night of his life right there!" Surtr exclaimed as soon as I walked onto the training ground and I just shook my head with a smile as Okita and MacGregor chuckled in the background.
"I'd say the date went well, then?" MacGregor said and I smiled as I nodded.
"It did, indeed. Thank you for arranging everything." He just smiled and nodded before Okita spoke.
"So, are you finally ready to begin with actual death battle training?" I nodded as our smiles disappeared, creating a light blue falchion in my right hand and a dark red falchion in my left. Surtr just rolled his shoulders as he pulled his greatsword off his back, with Okita unsheating one of his katanas and MacGregor creating a magic circle in front of him.
"We're going to be fighting until the other person cannot move or is fatally injured. No matter if you have broken bones or torn muscles, we'll keep on fighting until I say stop. Don't worry we have more than enough Phoenix Tears thanks to the alliance between House Gremory and House Phenex, so you don't have to worry about dying." I just smirked as I nodded right before Surtr blitzed towards me, Okita following behind him and MacGregor using enhancement and boosting spells while also shooting spells at me. I just grinned as I activated Storm Wolf's Aura and blasted towards them.
Now this...this is what I live for!
Later that Day:
"A good five hours a day for all-out combat battles should be good, right Okita?" Okita nodded as Surtr's words as I just groaned, feeling my bones and muscles slowly mending back together. Having a hole be blasted through your lungs was a very terrifying yet exciting experience, but the healing after was painful as hell.
"Now then, Surtr and I unfortunately have a request to fulfill for Grayfia, so you and MacGregor will be working all day with your magic." I nodded and Okita smiled and nodded before he and Surtr disappeared in a flash of red.
"How goes your rune training?" MacGregor asked and I just smiled as I raised a hand, a runic circle made out of Gremorian appearing on my hand before a small flame sprouted from it.
"This is the best I can do currently. I know Gremorian was supposed to be hard, but I never expected it to be this hard." He just chuckled as he nodded, a Divinitin runic circle appearing in his right hand and a Gremorian runic circle in his left hand. A large fireball appeared above the Divinitin circle, almost three times the size of his head, but above the Gremorian circle was a small fireball that was barely bigger than mine was.
"I've been studying Gremorian under Lord Gremory for the past century and yet, this is the best I can do. The fact that you managed to achieve how to do the same in less than a year is astounding in itself. Not to mention, the fact that I know how to use and write the entire language and yet, you can achieve the same results as me with less than 10% of the language." I just nodded as I analysed the Gremorian runes in his left hand, MacGregor letting me look at it for a few seconds with an amused smirk before he made both crests and the fireballs disappear.
"Now then, from today on forward, we're going to be working on increasing your Demonic Energy until it is at the same level as an Ultimate-Class Devil." I nodded and he smiled before he sat down cross-legged, gesturing for me to sit down in front of him with my legs crossed.
"Now then, as you know, Demonic Energy is not an energy that submits easily to your desires. In fact, it, along with White and Dark energy, are the most difficult energies to be utilized and that's also why White and Dark Mages/ Wizards are highly coveted amongst the Wizard Academies. Are you following so far?" I nodded and he nodded before continuing.
"Now, what you don't know, is that White and Dark energy, when mixed together, will create what I like to call Nephalem energy, which is a diluted, inferior version of Demonic Energy. Now while spells created by this energy is stronger than the spells powered by White and Dark energy individually, it is still weaker than the spells powered by Demonic Energy. However, there is a benefit to these spells that Demonic Energy powered spells don't have. What do you think that is?"
"Since White Magic spells are effective against 'Evil' beings and Dark Magic spells are effective against 'Pure beings, the possibility does exist that the Nephalem energy gives all spells the ability to be super effective against both 'Pure' and 'Evil' beings. That also means it is effective against gods since the only effective weapons against gods are something stronger or equal to them, Divine Weapons and Nephalem, which may be why you named the energy that." He just gave an approving smile as he nodded.
"Yes, that's it."
"But what does this have to do with increasing my energy?" He just chuckled as he raised his right hand, black, white and grey runic circles appearing around his arms.
"By sending this Nephalem energy throughout the head of a Devil in small pulses, I can forcefully accelerate the growth of a Devil's energy density, but this is usually a last-resort since it's a very painful process. The quantity of it, however, is something that only be increased with time."
"Wait, then what does Okita measure every time he measures my Demonic Energy?"
"Oh, the Demonic Energy Reader scans the density of your Demonic Energy and not its quantity. The reason why your density decreased is because of the fact that werewolves are not beings of the mystic arts. The only reason your Demonic Energy is not lower is because of your diluted blood compared to hybrid or full blood werewolves. Their bodies are made for high stamina levels, not high mana levels or density. That is also the reason why hybrid werewolves that can use magic are so powerful and also feared amongst all supernatural species." He explained and I hummed as I nodded.
"Ah, I see. Well, at this point, I'm starting to think that I'm a masochist because pain is a close friend of mine that I welcome at any time." I said with a smirk, making him chuckle before he nodded as he stood up.
Walking to stand behind me, he placed the rune-covered hand on the back of my head before he spoke.
"Close your eyes and focus on an image that is your ideal image of absolute power." I nodded slightly as I took a deep breath before I closed my eyes. There was only one image that fit his description and it's an image I saw when I arrived in this world. A humanoid being made out of nothing but a decaying dark red aura, tendrils sprouting from it and devouring anything it touches as reality around the being was slowly disappearing with each and every movement it made.
My first memory of Sirzechs Lucifer was still the scariest thing I've seen to this day, but it is also the most powerful thing I've seen.
"Now, when you have that image in mind, keep that image in mind while also thinking of an image of something that you love above all else." It didn't even take me a second before Akeno's smiling face and Koneko's stoic face appeared in my mind.
"Do you have the two images in your mind?" I nodded. "Now, no matter what, no matter how much pain or agony you go through, you always keep those two images in mind. Otherwise, this will be completely useless, okay?"
"Okay." I said with a nod and he chuckled before I felt a flood of foreign energy flowing from the tips of my hair to the very ends of my neck. I would have marvelled at the esoteric feeling of the energy if not for the IMMENSE AMOUNTS OF PAIN I WAS FEELING!
'MacGregor, a fucking warning would have nice.' I screeched in my head. It felt as if every cell in my head was being dipped in acid and the only pain I've felt that was worse than this was when I did that ritual.
Remembering MacGregor's words, I gritted my teeth as I thought nothing but Akeno, Koneko and the image of Sirzechs' true power.
'Power without pain is nothing but a sham!' I shouted in my head, concentrating on the mental images as it felt as if a few dozen drills were boring into my head. Five minutes later, the pain was finally starting to disappear, but I now had the biggest migraine I've had in both my lives.
"That is the extent of our training for today. Go rest and later, today, you'll see the difference." I gave a small smile, which agitated the migraine, as I groaned before slowly standing up, shakily stumbling to my room with MacGregor just looking amused.
I knew he was a sadist, just like Okita.
Later that Day, Evening:
Gremory Great Hall:
"So, how goes training, rival?" Sairaorg asked and I just groaned from where I laid with my head on the table, making him along with the rest of the table chuckle/ giggle as Akeno rubbed my back soothingly.
"Be glad you're not doing the Demonic Energy increasing exercises under MacGregor." I muttered and Akeno just winced slightly.
"He did the Nephalem energy boost, didn't he?" I just nodded and she gave me an empathetic pat on my back.
"What's the Nephalem energy boost?" Seekvaira asked and I sighed as Akeno spoke.
"He charges a spell with Dark, White and Demonic energy before he floods your entire head with the spell. It's supposed to supercharge a Devil's Demonic Energy growth and forcefully make them more powerful."
"…Isn't White Energy the same as Holy energy?" Sona asked hesitantly with a raised eyebrow, paling slightly as both Akeno and I nodded.
"Yep. It feels as if there's a few dozen drills trying to bore into your brain when he floods the energy through your brain." I said and everyone just looked horrified at us, making me chuckle.
"Don't worry. The pain is about the same level as someone stabbing, which is something I'm used to, and she's all too used to pain, so she doesn't even feel it." Akeno just smiled and nodded at their questioning stares, making them sigh.
"You two are indeed perfect for each other." Kuisha muttered, making Akeno giggle as I smirked.
"We indeed are." I said as I lifted my head to give her a kiss before I laid my head back down. I smirked as I noticed Tsubaki's longing glances at me and Akeno before Akeno giggled as she moved to sit down next to her, leaving me sitting alone with Koneko and Gasper.
"So, how are you doing so far?" I asked Gasper, who was completely bright red in the face as he glanced warily at everything like a frightened bird.
"G-G-G-Good!" He squeaked out, making me smile as I patted him on the head.
"Don't focus on how many people there are in the room. Just focus on us at this table. If you keep your attention solely on us, you won't notice everyone else around us." He just nodded shakily, closing his eyes as he began to take deep and slow breaths. After about a minute of just breathing, the redness has faded to just his cheeks as he opened his eyes.
"Much better, isn't it?" I said with a smirk, making him smile shyly as he nodded and I chuckled as I ruffled his hair.
"Ah, it's lovely to see my peers together." A sickly-sweet voice said from behind and for the first time outside of battle, I saw Sairaorg without a smile as he stared stoically at the person behind me. Rias gave one of her fake smiles that she usually uses for people didn't like and Seekvaira and Sona were frowning. I just turned around and raised an eyebrow at the guy behind me, a way-too-happy smile on his face.
Short, blonde hair, amber-coloured eyes, a lean build that is common for a magic-based fighter and dressed in a red formal outfit fit for a noble. "
Diodora." Sairaorg said in a flat tone and Diodora just chuckled good-naturedly as he walked around the table and sat down in the seat between Akeno and Sairaorg.
"Ah, my good friend Sairaorg. How has your day been?" He asked as he tried to wrap his arm around Akeno's shoulder, but she just stood up and walked around the table, sitting down in my lap and wrapping my arms around her waist. I caught the slight glare that appeared for a split second on his face as I laid my chin on her shoulder, staring into his eyes as I gave him a smug smirk.
No one touches what's mine.
"It was good before you got here." Sairaorg said bluntly and I suppressed my chuckle as the girls tried and failed to not giggle. I knew Diodora wanted to say something back, but he couldn't. Sairaorg was the future Lord of House Bael and the Great House Bael was the highest ranked in the Underworld, period.
To anger them was to condemn your house to nothing but agony and extinction for the next few millennia, if your house bloodline even survives for that long.
"You always have such good jokes." He chuckled as he tried to pat Sairaorg on the shoulder only for Sairaorg to slap his hand away as he raised an eyebrow.
"I never gave you permission to touch me and I've never considered you close enough of a friend to let you touch me. Please keep your hands to yourself next time before you lose them." …Damn, that was cold!
"Rival, I'll see you tomorrow for our sparring match and this time, I'll win!" He said to me, a bright grin now on his face, and I chuckled as I nodded.
"I've already won once, so there's no way I'm giving up my winning streak." He just smiled as he nodded at me and waved to the girls before walking away, Kuisha smiling at us and waving before she left with him.
"I have to go find Father and ask if he can't help me with my training. I bid you all farewell. Diodora, a pleasure." Seekvaira said as she nodded before walking away, Alivian silent as he just smiled and bowed before following her.
"And I have to go find my sister before she does something I'll regret. You stay, Tsubaki. I'll be back soon." Tsubaki looked hesitant to let Sona walk away alone, but she just nodded in compliance and Sona nodded before she walked into the crowd of Devils conversing.
For a Satan's birthday party, this was quite tame.
"Girls and Gasper, why don't we go and get some refreshments? Isa, you stay." Rias said as she pulled a surprised Akeno from my lap, Tsubaki and Koneko following her as Gasper giggled and walked with them. That just left me and a now stoic Diodora alone at the table, with us staring at each other as the jovial atmosphere disappeared.
"It's nice to finally meet the prodigious devil everyone has been talking about. Rias has been bragging about you to all of the noble devils at school whenever she could." He said in a stoic tone, though I did catch a hint of mockery as he said 'prodigious'.
"And you're Diodora Astaroth, the heir to House Astaroth. I wish I could say the same, but Rias has not mentioned you at all." I said with a smirk and he just smirked back, though I did see a flicker of anger in his eyes.
"What about Akeno? Did she not speak about me?" He asked with a smug smirk and I chuckled as I smothered the flash of rage inside me.
"Not at all. You must not be important enough." I said with a smile and for the first time, he frowned as a slight glare appeared on his face.
"I know you did something to get your rank. Perhaps, the Gremory bought off the correct officials and a few forgotten favours here and there allowed you to get this rank." I just glared back as my bloodlust slowly radiated off me, focused slowly on him as he began to pale slightly.
"I do not care if you insult, ridicule or belittle me, but if you dare insult the people who took me in and took care of me for the past three years as well as the girl I love, then you better be prepared for a Blood Feud because I will have no mercy. Do I make myself clear?" If I had a mirror, I would have noticed that my eyes were bright golden and my canines were lengthened significantly, but I didn't care as I glared at the pale Diodora.
"Is everything okay, Isa?" I heard Rias ask and my aura dissipated into thin air as I turned and smiled at their worried faces.
"Yeah, everything is okay. Diodora was just leaving." I said as I turned back, Diodora nodding shakily as he quickly stood up.
"Y-Yes! I remember that my cousin wanted me for something. It was nice meeting you, Rias." He said before quickly walking away, the girls and Gasper looking confused at his hurried walking before they all shrugged and sat back down. Akeno just gave me an amused and knowing smile as she sat back down on my lap and handed me a glass of non-alcoholic red wine. Surprisingly, Tsubaki sat down in Akeno's previous seat and when I turned to smile at her, she blushed bright red as she gave a shy smile, confusing me slightly as Akeno giggled. I just sighed as I shook my head and drank my wine.
"So, what actually happened?" Rias asked as she stared at me and I shrugged.
"We just talked, that's all."
"Oh really? Just talked?" She asked with a doubtful face and I smirked.
"He said a few stuff. I said a few stuff. Then, he said an insult or two and I said an insult or two. Then, I threatened to declare a Blood Feud on him if he keeps on using insults and he stopped talking."
"Are you mad?!" Rias whispered/ shouted as I chuckled, Akeno and Tsubaki looking shocked as Gasper and Koneko looked confused.
"W-What's a Blood Feud?" Gasper asked and Rias shook her head as I smiled.
"A Blood Feud is a battle to the death, except it is between two houses and not just two individuals. Basically, it's all-out war between two houses and it only ends when one house is completely obliterated."
"And that's why it's idiotic that you would declare that!" Rias hissed and I smirked.
"It is, unless you know the second sub-clause, which states that the heirs of both houses are the only ones allowed to do battle if one of the houses is only a year old and younger. Since I'm the only member of House Azathoth, that makes me the heir and lord of it and therefore, Diodora would have to fight me in a death battle and no one from House Astaroth could stop us unless they want to lose their political standings." I said, making her blink a few times.
"…Wait, where did you read that law?"
"In the library, just like I read every book on all of the laws & regulations and the judicial system of the Underworld." She just sighed as she shook her head, making me chuckle before Akeno turned my head to her angry glare.
"You and me are going to have a LONG discussion about unnecessarily worrying us like that, okay?" She growled and I chuckled.
"Of course."
"Good." She nodded before turning away from my, wrapping my free arm around her waist and I chuckled as she leaned back against me.
"Do you want to have to get something off your chest?" I asked Tsubaki, who looked worried.
"J-Just don't make us worry like that again."
"Well, that's a bit of a hard request, but I'll try my best." She smiled and nodded and I chuckled right before I heard a soft hum, looking down to see Akeno looking between us in amusement.
"So, you already have another target after you devoured me, you rampaging beast?" She asked with a smirk, making me chuckle as Tsubaki turned bright red.
"I'm a very, hungry wolf. What can I say?" Tsubaki squeaked at that as Rias just sighed and I winced slightly as I felt a kick against my shin, turning my head to see Koneko pouting at me.
"Ecchi." She muttered and I sighed.
"I wish Akeno didn't teach that to you." I muttered, making them all giggle as she just smirked.
A Month Later:
"Wait, could you repeat what you said?" I asked in shock, my chopped-off arms slowly mending back to my arms and the gaping hole in my abdomen slowly closing back up, the organs regrowing. Sairaorg was much worse as he was unconscious, severe burn marks over his entire body as his lower jaw slowly connected back with the rest of his mouth.
Phenex Tears really are OP as hell.
"I said that you are not getting more powerful anymore. You're starting to stagnate with these spars and only experience and actual battles will help you grow further. That's why I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a training trip with myself and MacGregor across the Underworld and the Human World for the next three years."
"…Who else knows?" I asked as I clenched and unclenched my fists, feeling slowly returning to my hands and arms.
"Lord and Lady Gremory, Lord Sirzechs, Lady Grayfia, Evelina and the rest of Lord Sirzechs' peerage. We were going to wait until your 13th birthday to ask you, but I'm already starting to see you get bored with the sparring sessions, especially since you achieved that Storm Wolf's Aura of yours and is dominating the matches against Sairaorg." That's true. So far, our former sparring were just draws, but now I have been winning about 80% of the spars we had since I unlock Storm Wolf's Aura and just like the prideful battle maniac he is, he refuses any help from Regulus as he wants to defeat me on my own.
"You don't have to decide now. Take your time and talk to the girls before you make your decision. Just remember the reason for your training." Was all he said before he walked away, MacGregor walking with him as I and Sairaorg were left on the training ground.
"What do you think?" I asked out loud and Sairaorg coughed/ chuckled as he pushed himself up from the ground, the burns mostly gone as he massaged his now-healed jaw.
"I'd say do it. I can feel with your attacks that you feel bored, as if sparring isn't worth it anymore. I know with Storm Wolf's Aura, you already surpassed me, so I want you to go and train hard. When you come back, I'll be even more powerful and show you that you were not the only one growing stronger." I just chuckled as I raised my fist to him and he chuckled as he fist-bumped me.
"And when I get back, you better have become powerful enough to date the girls." I muttered as I smirked at him and he chuckled as he nodded.
"Of course. Who do you think I am?" He said with a feral grin as I chuckled.
Yeah, I have the greatest friend in the world.
Later that day, Afternoon: Isaiah's room:
"And how long is this trip going to be?" Akeno muttered as she laid on my left shoulder
"About three years. That means you guys will probably in your 2nd year at Kuoh Academy." She just nodded as I rubbed the back of your head, Rias just hugging me tightly from my right side as Koneko was asleep on my chest. We were laying on my bed, just me staring at the ceiling and the three of them taking advantage of 'Isa Hugging Time' to lay here with me.
"Do you want to go?" Akeno asked and I sighed.
"…Yes. As much as I want to stay, I also want to grow powerful and recently, it's been feeling as if I've been hitting a wall of sorts. I haven't gotten stronger and I think only all-out combat will help me break through that wall." She just giggled lowly and I smiled as she snuggled into me.
"Then I guess we'll have to make these last few months amazing for you, don't we?" The nod from Rias made me chuckle as I just smiled.
"And I'll just make sure the only thing on your mind during this trip is nothing but me."Akeno whispered into my ear and I just smirked as I turned to her, seeing the raging inferno of lust and hormones in her eyes as she winked before laying back down. I just groaned, making her and Rias giggle as I sighed.
Yeah, these girls are going to be the death of me.
Isaiah's Birthday, Afternoon:
In Gremory Courtyard:
"And you're certain you have everything? What about your-!"
"Bow? Yeah, I have it." I said as I raised my left hand, the familiar black glove with blue tribal patterns on it. …I had completely forgotten about this thing in my pocket dimension and since MacGregor has near-perfect accuracy, I wanted to train with it while asking him for shooting pointers.
Here's to hoping Okita doesn't make me shoot at targets while making me wear a blindfold and using only Air Current Sense, but knowing him, he definitely will.
"Hey, it's okay. I'll be fine. Before you know it, three years will have passed and you'll have Isa time back again." She just giggled with a few unshed tears shining in her eyes before she hugged me tightly, with me chuckling as I hugged her back. We stayed like that for a few more seconds before she pulled back with a tearful giggle.
"I want you two to make sure she doesn't go and worry too much, okay? Also follow the training programs I made to the letter and you'll be much more powerful by the time I'm back." I said as I kneeled in front of Koneko and Gasper, with Gasper already crying with a bit of snot hanging from his nose and Koneko having a few tears running down her cheeks. I smiled softly as I wrapped them both in a tight hug, their tears running down my shirt as I smiled and kissed them both on the head. It took a while before they calmed down, with me chuckling as I ruffled their heads before standing back up.
"You can only pick up one girl on your training trip." I raised an eyebrow at Akeno's words as Okita cackled behind me, the other adults and Koneko looking amused as Rias and Gasper giggled.
"I…see. I assume this is because of you and Tsubaki?"
"Not telling~" She said in a singsong voice, making me chuckle before I placed my hands on her waist with her giggling as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"I'll miss you." I muttered, making her giggle as she kissed me softly. The world around me faded away as I tasted the sweet strawberry on her lips and smelt my familiar vanilla scent from her.
"Oi, lover gaki! We're burning daylight." Okita shouted from behind and I sighed as soon as she pulled back, with her giggling as I reluctantly removed my hands from her waist and stood back.
"Take care of him for me, boys~" She asked Joker and Bardou, with the two nodding as they barked. Apparently, the two stooges feel like I'll die on this trip, so they want to come with me. Also, they feel as if I've forgotten about them, which I did not, so now they want to grow powerful with me and take Lycaon's place as my partners in battle.
"Take care, Isaiah, and try not to die. I wouldn't want to lose my favourite student." Venelana said with a smile and I chuckled as she gave a quick but tight hug.
"And I don't want to lose the third member of our little 'My wife is better' group." Sirzechs said from the side with a smile, wincing slightly as Grayfia elbowed him in the side and Zeoticus nodded in agreement with his words.
"Don't worry. I won't." I said with a nod before Grayfia smiled as she patted me on the hug, which was the equivalent to a hug from her.
"Bye, Isa!" Millicas waved happily from his mother's arms and I chuckled as I waved back.
"Bye, Milli! See you later!" He nodded happily and I chuckled before I took a deep breath as Joker, Bardou and I walked towards where MacGregor and I were waiting for us.
"So, where's our first stop?" I asked as I stopped besides them, Okita grinning as MacGregor created a teleportation crest under us.
"Survival training." Were Okita's gleeful words and I let out a sigh.
Yeah, I'm not making it past the 1st week.
With one final glance at the group of people gathered and one last smile and a wave, I caught a final smile and air-kiss from Akeno before my vision was dyed red.
A/N: My first long chapter in a while and finally, the childhood Arc is done. Yeah, these first sixteen chapters was the first arc and now, it's the training arc. Isaiah, MacGregor and Okita travelling around the Underworld and the Human World as Isaiah learns what is means to become stronger.
Also, I'm starting with my first tests in the coming week, so unfortunately, there will be no chapter. That is also the reason for the very early upload as I'll be too busy studying Sunday. Now then, I don't have much to say, so I'll see you all in the next chapter.
Until then…Ba-Bye~!
