Isaiah's POV:

"I swear if another devil asks me how my day's going or how have I been, I'm going to commit mass genocide." I groaned as I sagged into my chair, Akeno giggling as she poured me a cup of tea.

" 'Oh, Lord Azathoth, what a fantastic day it is today and I'm certain yours has been the same. How have you been?'" Surprisingly, Seekvaira was the one who mocked me and I gave a mock-glare as I bumped my head on the table, making the rest of the table snicker.

"In all seriousness, Zekram Bael does not care to mess with Devilkind unless it is something truly important, so for him to take time out of his day to even speak to you let alone make you such an offer, I wouldn't be surprised women have thrown themselves naked at your feet for your children." Sona said and I grinned.

"Oh, they've tried, but I have my beautiful girlfriend to thank for my safety." They all turned to Akeno only to pale slightly at the sadistic glint in her eyes as she giggled.

"Ufufufufu~Naughty girls get punished~" She said, sparks of bright blue electricity sparking around her hand as she giggled.

"So, that was why I heard so much squealing last night!" Rias exclaimed with a knowing look on her face as Akeno blushed slightly and I chuckled.

"Oh, that was not them." I said, to which she looked confused before seeing the blush on Akeno's face as she turned bright red, making me chuckle before I heard a throat being cleared.

"So, what is your plan for the tournament?" Kuisha asked, trying to change the subject and I shrugged.

"Defeat the competition as fast as possible and just get that favour and promotion, I suppose." I said, to which Seekvaira smirked.

"Alivian is also taking part after he heard you were going to be in it, so I suggest you be wary." I chuckled as I heard her say that, not missing the knowing look Akeno was giving Rias nor the slight blush on Rias' face as soon as she heard Alivian's name.

"At least, there is going to be some fun. I would get bored just fighting the common weaklings." I said with a confident smirk, making her snort as I chuckled.

"Now, we've heard enough about me and my dangerous adventures. How have you all been?"

"Training and learning in preparation for our battles." Sairaorg said and I sighed with a smile as everyone else shook their heads.

"Keeping this dumbass out of trouble/ Helping her keep the dumbass out of trouble." Kuisha and Coriana said respectively with deadpans, making Sairaorg grumble as I chuckled.

"I sort of expected that. And what about you two?" I asked as I turned to Sona and Seekvaira, who both shrugged.

"Mostly studying and learning under our parents to protect us for when we have to take over the family." They both answered and I nodded before turning to Tsubaki, who keeps taking not-so-discreet glances at me.

"And what about you, my bespectacled beauty? What have you been up to?"

"N-N-Nothing much." She stuttered out and I smiled in amusement.

"Stop flirting with my Queen, Isaiah." Sona said and I shrugged.

"I can't help it. She's cute and she has black hair. It's kind of my thing." I said before hearing two simultaneous hums that sent shivers up my spine.

"Is that perhaps the reason he likes us, Akeno?"

"I think it's exactly that, Kuroka." Kuroka and Akeno said respectively as I smiled, the girls leaning over my left and right shoulder respectively as I sighed.

"You two have been getting along far too well." I muttered, to which they glanced at each other with matching teasing smirks.

"We both like to tease people, we both have tragic pasts, we both have black hair and we both like the same guy. We have a lot more in common between us than we thought, so why not?" Akeno said, with Kuroka nodding as I smiled.

"And I suppose Tsubaki is going to join this little group of yours as well?" I asked, making the person in question squeak as the two of them looked up at her.

"She's making it a bit difficult, but I've been slowly breaking her defences down and with Kuroka helping me, it won't be long."

"I swear, it's like her being here just make both of you ignore me." Sona grumbled, to which I just chuckled as the two girls giggled before kissing both of my cheeks and then standing back upright, walking towards Tsubaki before herding her away as we all looked on.

"…You do realize you're going to be sitting with Akeno 2.0, right?" I said to Sona, who just nodded with her head in her arms, Rias giving a sympathetic smile as she patted her on the back.

"Don't worry, Sona. I'll give you advice on how to deal with an Akeno."

"I'd rather not have one at all, Rias." That made me snort as Sairaorg chuckled.

Ah, I've missed this.

Later that day, Night:

'I told you that I would come and get you, Joky!'

'You're one brave man, Master!'

*BBBZZZZZTTTTT*

'Why are all four of them here?! I thought Agrukk was the only one who's coming!'

'We have to take care of all four of them?! We could barely keep Agrukk at bay!'

'I guess it's time to bring out the big guns, then! Born in Desolation. Burning in Greed! Solemn with Victory yet Ripe with Defeat! Arise and become anew! Balance Break: Fushi no Kōjō!'

*BBBZZZZZTTTTT*

'Take him, Bardy! Master's ability made them weak enough that I can handle them!'

'B-But…you won't make it. Even if you can buy us enough time, you won't have enough energy to escape them.'

'Then I guess looking after Master is your job from now on.'

'W-W-Wait, J-Joky. I-I can still…g-get us all…out of here.'

'Unless you have a teleportation pamphlet that will lead to safety, this is the only choice. Now go, Bardy! Keep him safe for both of us!'

'W-Wait! Joker!'

'Come back here, boy! You will not escape the wrath of the Four Cardinal Kings after what you just did!'

'You'll have to get past me first, you old bastard! Burn and be torn asunder! Asmodeus' Rage!'

'Joker!'

'We have to go, Master!'

'B-But Joker is…still fighting.'

'We…we have to leave him. Now, let's go, Master!" I gasped as I leaped upright from my bed, dual daggers in my grasp as I looked around frantically.

"It's okay. It's okay. Bardou is safe. You're safe." Kuroka whispered as she wiped away the tears from my eyes and I looked around. Akeno was standing at the door, being held back by Bardou as blades sprouted from everywhere in the room. My aura was roaring off of me as the room walls cracked and I quickly reined it in as well as making the blades disappear.

"How long?" I heard Sirzechs' voice ask and I slowly tried to get my breathing under control before I answered.

"T-They began about a week or so after…after Joker's death." I muttered, still hugging Kuroka tightly and he nodded.

"Kuroka, Akeno, Bardou, you three stay with him during the night. I'll have Okita and MacGregor stationed outside if anything else happens. Tomorrow, you and I are going to pay an old friend a little visit." I nodded and he smiled before walking out of the room, Akeno closing the door behind her as I let go of Kuroka and sat back down on the bed, my head against the bedboard as I just stared at the wall. They didn't say anything as Akeno and Kuroka sat down on both sides of me, hugging me as Bardou laid down in front of us and acting as a foot warmer.

"Want to lay down?" Akeno asked softly and I shook my head.

"I'll just fall asleep and have another one, so no, I'll just stay awake." I muttered and she nodded before hugging me tighter as I wrapped my arms around the two of them before pulling them in closer as I sighed.

'I got overconfident.'I thought with a frown as I just stared at the wall. Akeno and Kuroka tried to stay awake with me, but I knew neither of them were night people and they went back to sleep pretty quickly afterwards, leaving me and a half-awake Bardou just staring at the night sky.

Funny thing about hellhounds, they can let one half of their brain sleep while the other half is still awake and controlling their body.

"I got overconfident, didn't I Bardou?" I muttered softly and he snorted.

"We both did, Master. It wasn't just you." He said softly and I sighed as I stared at the sky.

"Who would've thought that Lucifer's familiar was THAT thing?" I muttered and he chuckled softly.

"And who would've thought three young pups such as us would be taking on four God-Class beings and nearly defeat them?" He said, to which I chuckled softly before quieting as Akeno and Kuroka shifted slightly, waiting until they settled down before I let out a deep sigh.

"I guess it's another all-nighter, huh?" I said, to which he just snorted.

"Also known as a 'Make sure Master doesn't try to blow up the planet' night." I chuckled softly at his words, letting out another sigh as I stared at the lit sky of the Underworld.

The Next Day:

Unknown Place, Underworld:

As the flash of Sirzechs' teleportation crest died down, I raised an eyebrow at the ice white roses in the courtyard as well as the castle with dark grey walls.

"Where are we?" I asked and Sirzechs chuckled as he began walking, Grayfia not far after him as I sighed and followed after them.

"This is the home of the friend I spoke of. However, sometimes she's not here, so we'll have to ask her assistant if she's here."

"Sir-chan!" A loud female voice shouted and Grayfia sighed as Sirzechs chuckled.

"Or she can feel us coming and rush towards us as fast as she can." Sirzechs said with a smirk as a blur rushed towards us before coming to a stop right in front of us, a dust cloud slowly settling to reveal them and my eyes widened as I saw the person in front of us.

A girl, looking 17 years old or so, dressed in a bright bubblegum pink Magical Girl Outfit with the staff and her black hair tied into twin pigtails, squealed as soon as she caught sight of Grayfia and Sirzechs, hugging them tightly as Grayfia just sighed and patted her on the back.

Serafall Leviathan, the current Satan Leviathan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

"Sir-chan! Fia-chan! How have you guys been?! It's been ages since I saw you!" Serafall asked excitedly and Grayfia sighed.

"It's been three days since the last Satans Meeting, Lady Serafall." Grayfia said, to which she pouted before she caught sight of me.

"And you must be the boy Sir-chan spoke of. Hi! I'm the super duper spectaculious cute Satan Leviathan, Levia-tan!"

"I'm Isaiah Azathoth. Pleasure to meet you, Lady Leviathan."

"No, Levia-tan."

"Lady Serafall."

"Sera-tan. Or. Levia-tan." She grounded out and I turned to Sirzechs, who just shrugged helplessly.

"Serafall."

"…Fine." She pouted cutely as I sighed, noticing Grayfia sighing as well before her words hit me.

"Wait, she's the old friend we're supposed to visit?" I asked Sirzechs, to which he nodded with a smile.

"Yep, she's going to help you work through your…nightmares." I stared at him before turning to the grinning Serafall.

"I think I'm far more mature than she is." She just stomped her feet cutely as Sirzechs chuckled.

"You'd be surprised. Now, we'll leave you two to get acquainted and we'll come fetch you later." I nodded and gave a final wave before they nodded and disappeared, sighing as I turned back to Sairaorg.

"Someone closed to you died while you were fighting something and you're currently traumatized by it. Did I get that right?" She asked, shocking me before I chuckled as I shook my head.

I really fell for her facade, didn't I?

"You know, you don't have to hide behind a facade with me. In fact, I'd rather have this talk with the real you instead of talking with a mask you created."

"If you're sure." She said with a doubtful look on her face and I smiled as I nodded, making her sigh. In the blink of an eye, a glint appeared in her eye as her entire demeanour changed.

She took out her scrunchies, making her hair fall down straight behind her like a curtain of darkness as her outfit changed into a black pencil skirt, black heels and a white dress shirt that strained to keep her bust I checked before she stared at me.

"So, how do I look?" Even her voice sounded far more mature than I expected as well as a bit sultry if I can say so.

…Dear Satan, I hate my libido.

"Much more approachable than earlier." I said, making her smirk as she gestured for me to follow and I nodded as I followed after. I guess it's time to talk this out.
