Isaiah's Room, Gremory Castle:
3rd Person POV:
"I'm okay, Sona." Tsubaki said with a smile as she sat upright on Isaiah's bed, wrapped up tightly by Sona in a hug as she shook slightly, trying to stem the tears. Rias, Kuroka, Akeno, Valerie, Koneko & Gasper sitting on the bed with them as Samson guarded the door and Bardou the windows.
"I'm just thankful that Samson managed to get to you in time. Who knows what would have happened if he didn't?" Rias said with a look of concern and Akeno nodded before she turned to Samson.
"How did you know that something was wrong?"
"I didn't. Lord Isaiah was the one who thought that something wasn't right, so he asked me to go check up on her." Samson said with a shrug and Rias smiled as Kuroka and Akeno sighed with smiles.
"Was he always as cautious when he was younger as he is now?" Kuroka asked and Akeno giggled as she shook her head.
"He was a bit cautious, but never to this extent. It seems his training has made him far more cautious than it would have." She said, to which Kuroka hummed before they all turned as the door opened, Samson relaxing as Isaiah walked in.
"Thanks again, Samson." He said as he entered, Samson just smiling and nodding before he turned to the bed, where everyone else was sitting. Quickly walking towards the bed, he walked towards Tsubaki, who smiled at him.
"Thank you fo-!" She was cut off as Isaiah gave her a deep kiss, her eyes along with everyone else's widening as he slowly pulled back.
"I'm never letting you out of my sight, okay?" Isaiah said with a smirk as he stared into Tsubaki's eyes and he chuckled as she just gave a slow nod, sitting down next to her as Akeno sat down on his lap and Kuroka sat down on his other side.
"…Why did I think anything would change with you?" Rias sighed as Isaiah just chuckled.
"So, I have to ask, how did you know about the assassins?" Sona asked and Isaiah shrugged.
"I didn't. I just had a hunch that something didn't feel right, so I asked Samson to go and check on her for me." He admitted and she just shook her head with a smile.
"You're a very paranoid man, you know that?" She said and he chuckled as he nodded.
"Having to survive in the Devil's Bermuga can do that to someone." He said with a shrug, to which Rias piped in.
"Speaking of that, what was that form you used in the Finals?" She asked and Isaiah smiled.
"That is Abyssal Break: Nephilim Monarch, the Juggernaut Drive equivalent of my Sacred Gears."
"I thought that those were exclusive to the Heavenly Dragons & the Longinus gears they were sealed in." Koneko with a cute frown, with her pouting even more as Isaiah bopped her nose as he smiled.
"They are, but there are Longinus such as Regulus Nemea and Canis Lykaon that has something called Breakdown the Beast, where the wielder are able to exert the full power of those Longinus in exchange for their lifespan just like the Juggernaut Drive. What I do is I combine Storm King's Aura, my Touki, my Sacred Gears and my Concept into one by using Gremorian, Divinitin, Lilithian, Enochian & Nordic as well as using my True Form as the template."
"…That sounds way too complex." Gasper said with a frown and Isaiah chuckled as he nodded.
"It is and it did take me a while to get it under my belt, but a few hundred tries and I can now do it easily now. Unfortunately, there is a massive drawback to this move. Since it's the equivalent of Juggernaut Drive, it drains my life-force in the exact same way. Thankfully, Buddha, Kuroka, Valerie and I managed to create a way to use it without having to worry about killing myself." Isaiah quickly clarified as Akeno, Tsubaki, Rias, Koneko and Gasper glared at him in concern.
"And what is that?" Sona asked in curiousity, having an amused smile at everyone's worries as Isaiah grinned and lifted his right hand up.
To their shock, a dark blue rose appeared on the back of it, with thorns stretching up from his hand and wrapping around his arms all the way to his bicep.
"'Daily Demonic Energy Siphoning' & 'Demonic Energy Storage' written in Gremorian that makes up the petals, 'Demonic Energy to Life Energy Conversion' in Enochian and finally 'Demonic Energy Amplification' written in Lilithian as the vines that will slowly boost the energy in the storage over time. This is what allows me to use Abyssal Break for about one minute before it starts to drain my lifespan, but if I do use it, the energy takes about six months to a year to fill back up. Everyone in my peerage has the same." On cue, Kuroka, Samson and Valerie clenched their left hands and the same dark blue rose appeared on the back of their hands, with Bardou just sticking out his tongue and showing a bright blue rose on his tongue.
"So, can we have them?" Rias asked and Isaiah just smirked.
"Peerage exclusive unfortunately. However, I can make a slightly weaker version…for a price." Rias just sighed as Akeno giggled.
"Always thinking about money, huh?" Isaiah shrugged at her words.
"If Akeno, Tsubaki or Kuroka aren't on my mind, it's either more training or money." He said bluntly, to which Akeno just smiled as she laid back on his chest while Rias pouted. Koneko and Gasper just kept looking at him, with Isaiah looking back with a smile before they both pouted as he chuckled.
"I can also give you and your peerage one, with Tsubaki getting it for free as my first gift to her as my girlfriend." Isaiah said to Sona, who just nodded.
"I'll think about it."
"Hey~! Why does she get a free one and not me? I'm the first one~!" Akeno whined, to which Isaiah just raised an eyebrow.
"Really?" He asked, to which she just smiled at him before she leaned up to his ear.
"Not even for a little lick~?" She whispered, to which Rias and the others mock-gagged in the background as Kuroka giggled and Tsubaki smiled, though she was just as bright red as everyone else.
"That might persuade me, but it's going to take a lot more."
"Kuroka?"
"I'm in."
"Tsubaki?"
"Uh…"
"I'll take that as a yes. Okay, that's a triple team. How about now?" Akeno asked once again and Isaiah grinned.
"I'm not going to force Tsubaki, but you and Kuroka, however, are free game. You're going to have to work for it."
"And that is my cue. Night, everyone. Master, don't forget about your final session tomorrow with Leviathan." Bardou said and Isaiah smiled as he nodded, both him and Samson nodding before they jumped out of the window.
"Us too. Come on, Koneko, Gasper. I have extra sweets in my room." Koneko's and Gasper's ears perked up as Valerie spoke, both of them quickly giving Isaiah and Tsubaki a hug, with Koneko hugging a giggling Kuroka, before they quickly rushed after Valerie to her room. Valerie just nodded at Isaiah and he nodded back before she left the room.
"And we're leaving too. Our parents are probably looking for us." Rias said as she and Sona stood up and Isaiah smirked.
"And probably going to check up on Seekvaira and Alivian, right?" The slight blush on Rias' face made him chuckle as Sona smiled.
"I'll let you know tomorrow about the runes and Tsubaki, you're free to enjoy yourself tonight. Reya and Momo will take over your duties."
"Thank you, Sona-sama." Tsubaki said with a smile and a bow, to which Sona just smiled as she nodded before she and Rias walked out of the room, leaving the four last occupants in the room as Isaiah just sighed.
"I'm going to sleep. I can just feel that tomorrow is going to be hell."
"B-B-But what about sexy times~?" Akeno asked, to which Isaiah chuckled as he laid down on his pillows, with Akeno on his chest and Tsubaki & Kuroka in his arms.
"There's still tomorrow for that. Right now, I really need to sleep." He muttered softly, to which she sighed before she smiled as she nodded, laying her head on his chest as Kuroka laid her head on his right shoulder and Tsubaki slowly laid her head down on his left shoulder.
"Fine~! But tomorrow, you're not going to be able to even walk."
"And you're sure we're talking about me?" Isaiah muttered with a chuckle, making her flush slightly as Tsubaki and Kuroka giggled before he sighed as he slowly fell asleep.
"Well, good night, ladies/ Good night./ Night, everyone." Tsubaki, Akeno and Kuroka muttered respectively as they slowly fell asleep.
A Day Later, Midday:
Leviathan Castle, Lilith, Underworld:
Isaiah's POV:
"Sera! How's my favourite therapist?" I asked as soon as I walked into the office, Serafall giggling as I plopped down on the couch before she quickly stood up and sat down besides me.
Quickly wrapping me up in a tight hug, I chuckled as I wrapped an arm around her before she quickly pulled back as she glared at me.
"Do you have any idea how much work you caused the Satans with last night's stunt?"
"I just have to ask, how much power does House Bael have now?" I asked with a manic grin, to which she giggled as she grinned.
"It's far, far less than the vast amount of social influence they had before since so many of their vassals defected to other factions and/ or work under independent houses. Right now, the Four Satans have the most influence, with the Sitri-Gremory Faction having the most after us and the Great King Faction behind them." That made my grin widen, making her giggle even more as I chuckled.
"Good. I told them not to mess with me and they didn't listen, so I had to show them I'm a man of my word. What about the Rating Game stats?" I said, to which she smiled as she shrugged.
"No clue at all, but according to Ajuka, he's been running damage control and calling in the Top 10 Rating Game players, though a few of them are rejecting his call and are hiding in their castles." I just chuckled as I nodded before I grinned at her.
"So, this is the final session we have, right?"
"Yep, and you said that you wanted to wait until the final day to tell me something?" She said, to which I smiled as I nodded.
"Yeah, since this is part of the trauma, I'll have to tell you about everything that happened after the battle against the Four Cardinal Kings. It's going to be a long story, though."
"Well, I want to let Sirzechs deal with clean-up duty for a while since he decided to dump the role of Minister of Foreign Affairs on me when I became the Satan Leviathan, so I have loads of time." Sera said with a grin, to which I chuckled as I grinned.
"Then, let's start at a week after the battle."
Flashback Starts:
One Week after the Cardinal Kings' Battle:
Isaiah's POV:
"Whe…where am I?" I muttered as I slowly woke up, feeling groggy and painful all over my body as I blinked slowly to get my vision back.
"Master! You're okay!" I barely heard Bardou exclaiming before I gasped as I felt a weight land on my chest, the weight quickly moving off as I groaned.
"Hehe! Sorry about that."
"It's…okay…Bardou." I gritted out those words as I tried to sit upright, Bardou helping me as I slowly sat upright, looking at my surroundings. I was laying on what seemed to be a worn-out mattress, thin blankets covering my lower body.
It was completely dark where we were and as I activated Air Current Sense, I realized that we were in the back of a cave as there was a wall behind us.
Stretching my senses to the front, I found a large expanse filled with furniture with different holes all around the sides and the roof, with tunnels intersecting and stretching for what felt like hundreds of meters before they all ended in different exits.
Bringing my senses back to where Bardou and I were, I was surprised to see and feel bandages wrapped around my body, with most of it around my chest, probably because of the wound Agrukk gave me.
"Who bandaged me, Bardy?" I muttered as I slowly stood up, revealing more bandages wrapped around my legs as Bardou shrugged, helping me walk towards the large expanse.
"Don't know. I was too tired to care." Bardou said and I nodded as we continued walking. As I walked into it, I was nearly blinded as runes lit up the roof and the walls, bright white light coming from it as I also heard Bardou yelp in pain.
Both of us stood still for a few seconds as I blinked rapidly, the white finally disappearing from my vision as I looked around at the room. There were a series of black leather couches on the floor in a circle, with a large Queen-size bed in the back and a large closet off to the right of the bed.
On the other side of the bed was a long row of bookshelves, an assorted of books on the shelves with a large table and four black chairs with it.
What surprised was when I looked at the coffee table in the middle of the couches, various photos on the table and to my surprise, the photos were of a very familiar white-haired girl I knew very well.
"Bardou…were we found by a stalker?" I asked warily and Bardou just shrugged as we walked towards the couches, with me sitting down in one and Bardou jumping onto another one and lying down on it.
"I just woke up in that room with you." I sighed as I nodded, leaning back against the couch.
"So Joker really is…" I trailed off as I couldn't finish the sentence, Bardou's ears dropping as he nodded, making me let out a strangled sigh as I nodded. I could feel the emotions burning in my body as I sat in the couch, but I forced them down as there was more than enough time later to work through them.
"Oh, you're finally awake." A female voice came from behind me and I quickly leaped up from the couch only to groan as it aggravated the chest wound, Bardou jumping in front of me with a warning growl as the runic lights turned off.
Reactivating Air Current Sense(and cursing myself for not keeping it on), I focused in the direction of the voice only to frown as I felt the dozens of different figures around the room, each one of their forms turning and twisting every second to hide their identity.
"I don't suppose you would turn the lights back on, right?" I joked and the voice giggled before she spoke again, this time the voice coming from behind us.
"Unfortunately, I'm a very shy girl, so the lights are staying off." I sighed at that as I calmed Bardou down.
"Listen, I swear on my name that I'm not going to attack. Besides, we're both aware of my injuries, so me attacking you would probably be more detrimental to me than it would be to you." I said with a smile and it was silent for a few seconds before I heard a sigh and the lights turned down. I squinted slightly as I stared at the figure in front of me before my eyes widened at the woman smirking at me.
She was a very beautiful & curvaceous woman with long black hair and hazel-gold eyes with cat-like pupils, dressed in nothing more than a loose black kimono open at the shoulders that exposed exposed a lot of her chest, a yellow obi wrapped around her waist with a set of golden beads hanging from them and an ornately detailed headband. The most eye-catching feature about her were the twin cat tails swaying behind her and the cat ears on top of her head that twitched every so slightly. She looked amused at me looking her over before I looked up into her eyes with a smirk.
"I didn't expect for the infamous Black Cat to be my saviour." I said and she giggled as she shrugged her shoulders, her exposed chest jiggling attractively as I fought to keep my gaze from dropping. She pouted slightly at me not looking down before her smirk disappeared.
"Well, it's not everyday you have to rescue the most popular reincarnated devil in the Underworld from the Devil's Bermuga, which I must ask. What were you doing there?"
"Fighting the Four Cardinal Kings, but as you can see, I lost. Badly." I said with a shrug, wincing as I irritated my wounds again before Bardou sighed and shook his head, guiding me back to the couch as I missed Kuroka's look of shock.
"You actually tried to fight the familiars of the Four Original Satans?"
"Not tried. I did fight them. Managed to kill Anubue, Asmodeus' familiar, before the other three beat us two. Our best friend stayed to act as decoy while Bardy and I fled." I muttered with a sigh as I sat down on the couch before I turned my head to the side with a smile, the illusion I was talking to shattering as Kuroka appeared seated on the couch with a surprised look.
"Also, when you're trying to hide yourself, I suggest hiding your breathing as well. I could feel the changes in the air currents whenever you inhaled and exhaled." She just sighed as she shook her head.
"You're a really cautious person, aren't you?"
"I wasn't before and that cost me my friend, so now I'm nothing but cautious." I said with a smile, trying and failing to hide my pain as she smiled and nodded before I turned to the photos of Koneko on the table, also seeing a few pictures with me in them.
"So, how long have you been stalking Neko-chan?" I asked as I gestured at the photos and she gave a soft smile as she reached to pick one up.
"Since I left her at my former master's house in my stupidity to run away. I've been keeping tabs on what she likes and doesn't like as well as those who treat her well. You're at the top of that list." She said as she turned to me and I chuckled before Bardou spoke.
"Tell me about it. If he's not with Akeno, he's spoiling the hell out of her."
"…Did that hellhound just talk?" She asked in shock and I chuckled as I nodded.
"Yep, this is Bardou, my Hellhound familiar."
"And his bodyguard, so you watch those hands, lady. Mistress would kick the shit out of both of us if he got with a woman that she didn't approve of." She just kept staring at him before she looked up at my amused face.
"That Akeno girl?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yep. I'm a very loyal man, so if she doesn't like them, I don't like them."
"You could just be scared of your girlfriend." She said with a smile and I shook my head with a chuckle.
"I don't know why a man wants more than one woman when he can't even handle the one. Besides, a happy girl means I don't get killed in my sleep and yes, I'm very scared of a woman who can use lightning that is very effective against those of my species." I admitted unashamedly with a shrug, making her giggle as we just smiled at each other before I grinned.
"Hey, I have a deal for you." I started, to which she raised an eyebrow.
"How about I give you the chance to meet your sister and clear your name in exchange for you becoming my Queen?" Her other eyebrow joined the first before her expression shifted as she gave a coy smile.
"Oh? And what makes you think I want my name to be cleared? What if I was the evil Stray Devil that all of Devilkind makes me out to be?" I grinned as I opened my pocket dimension, reaching into it and pulling out my last and final Phenex tear, pulling off the cork and downing it in one gulp. Instantly, I sighed in relief with a grin as I felt my wounds heal, Bardou rolling his eyes as I jumped to my feet with a satisfied groan.
"Let's just say that I know how manipulative the pure blood Devils are." I said with a smile, with her giggling as I ripped off the bandages. She stood up and walked towards me, with me turning towards her as we now stood chest-to-chest. I just smirked down at her as she slowly traced a finger on my right pec and looked up into my eyes before she giggled.
"Okay, but you hold up your end of the bargain, I get to be your second girlfriend if Akeno says it's okay AND…you give me lots of babies." Bardou mock-gagged in the background as I raised an eyebrow before I shrugged.
"The first condition should be easy if we can get some proof, the second you'll have to talk with Akeno when I return back home and the third…well, we'll talk about that after you do the second."
"Then forget about the first condition because I have all the proof we need. And don't worry. I have more copies." She said with a smile as she reached into a pocket dimension, pulling out a stack of papers and handing it over to me.
Staring in confusion at her, I glanced down at the papers and read briefly through them, my eyes widening further and further as I read the papers before grinning at her smirking form.
"Now, we just have to worry about the second condition." I said with a grin.
"Yay~!" She cheered with a jump, her chest jiggling right in front of my face as I took a deep breath.
"…I feel like this is going to be a recurring theme with you." I muttered as I pinched the bridge of my nose and she giggled as I pulled out an intricate wooden case, taking out the mutated Queen Pieces before putting the case back.
"So, how do I do this?" I asked and she just took my hand before placing it inside her kimono, with me smirking as I felt a nipple next to the Queen piece in my grasp before I sighed as I felt the piece sink into her.
Something clicked in the back of my mind and I raised an eyebrow as I could feel the piece in her as well as the sheer amount of demonic energy raging inside of her. I'm pretty sure that the energy of Akeno and Rias combined didn't even come close to the amount she had.
"Why do I feel like this isn't the usual ritual?" I said as I pulled my hand out of her kimono, making sure to trace a finger across her nipple. She just giggled at that as she shrugged.
"It's a…special version of it."
"…Right." I said with a deadpan and she just giggled before I sighed as I smiled.
And that's how I got my third peerage member, the Queen Kuroka.
A/N: So, from now on, this is going to be a flashback series, where I will show what happened in the years after the battle and before they returned to the Underworld.
Strap in because this…is going to be long.
Anyway, as always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one…
Ba-Bye~!
