One Month Later:

Shakya Training Ground, Buddha's Palace:

Isaiah's POV:
"More speed, Valerie! Use quick spells to disorient spells and then big ones to finish me off!" I shouted at Valerie as I darted between her elemental spells, with her frowning as she cancelled her sigils in front of her before creating a sphere of sigils around me.

I smiled as I nodded before she sent a barrage of fireballs, ice spears, lightning bolts and boulders at me, ducking and weaving through them before my eyes widened and I teleported out of the sphere of runes just as a thick purple mist flooded the sphere.

"Nice, little kitty, but faster! Make the mist as small and as thin as possible and then let it all expand in the blink of an eye before he can even feel it!" Wukong shouted from the sidelines and Kuroka nodded before she created a horde of clones, each creating a purple sphere in their palms before she sent them flying at me.

I smirked as my Touki wrapped around my form, blitzing around her explosive spheres as well as Valerie's attacks as I rushed towards them before I stopped in my tracks and flipped into the air right as Bardou's fire-coated form blasted past under me. He didn't stop there as he flipped before opening his maw, a ball of roaring purple flames flying towards me.

Quickly creating a Flame Delete, I absorbed the blaze before swinging the blade behind me and releasing it as Valerie sent a barrage of thin ice shards flying at my back. She clicked her tongue and gave a small frown as she created a crimson barrier in front of her just in time to block my punch, with me chuckling as I pulled my other fist back before punching once more.

She didn't stay as she teleported away and the air around me warped as Kuroka gave an eerie giggle before she snapped her fingers, a dark pink cube appearing around empty air as I appeared above her, a great sword held in my grasp and raised high before I swung it down.

Unfortunately, it didn't make it far as Bardou bolted through it while also sending a sea of fire down at me and I jumped back, but that was Valerie's plan as she created dozens of sealing barriers around me, frowning as I saw all of them were tightly before I sighed as I saw Kuroka's poison mist flooding through the gaps and the air decreasing as Bardou burned it up with his flames.

"And just like that, you're captured, Master." Kuroka said with a smile as Valerie gave a small smirk and Bardou grinned. I chuckled as I let go of my Touki, shaking my head with a smile before I spoke.

"Yeah, I surrender." I said and she nodded as they shattered the barrier and I took a deep breath of fresh air with a groan.

"That mist is something else, Kuroka, but it won't work on most people. Valerie, good job on creating the sealing runes, but next time, try and create your own openings to seal him instead of waiting for Kuroka and Bardou to make one for you. Bardou, nice work on keeping most of Isaiah's attention away from the other two, but stop rushing head first in to attack him. I know you're excited about your newfound speed, but one day, there's going to be someone faster than you and then, you're not going to be able to even get away from them fast enough." Buddha criticized them and they all gave serious nods before he turned to me.

"And you…you're supposed to be my student. How the hell did you fall for a simple diversion and sealing that easily? Not just that, but you've become over-reliant on your runes. Have you even started your training on your Concept?" He asked with a frown, to which I sighed as I shook my head, making him sigh as he shook his head.

"I suppose I am at fault as well as I never helped you get started on that training, but I'm fixing that now. Come and you three, stand on the sides." He said as he waved for the other three to move off the field while staring at me, with me frowning as Mel spoke to me.

"Partner, time to learn how to use your Concept. Do you remember what I told you what your Concept is when we first met?" He asked and I nodded as I slowly crouched, getting into a fighting stance as Buddha kept his hands in his pockets.

'Creating any bladed weapon and runic pattern I want without needing to use my Sacred Gears.'

"Correct. Now, focus on your soul and draw out the Concept." '

How do I do that?' I asked him as Storm King's Aura slowly wrapped around me, Buddha smirking as he took out his right hand from his pockets.

"Unfortunately, that I cannot tell you how to do as it differs from person to person. You'll have to figure that one out on your own." I sighed as I nodded before I disappeared, reappearing above Buddha with my right leg raised high before I brought it down, with him smirking as he lifted his hand and easily blocked my attack, gripping my leg before throwing me away.

Before I could even land, I was gone once more, Tensa Zangetsu in my grasp before dozens of my afterimages appeared around us, Buddha's khakkara flying into his hand before it morphed into a shichishitō and he got ready to defend.

His arm was nothing but a blur as it swung the blade, blocking and parrying all of my strikes as I flew and dove between my afterimages while also trying to find a way to get a blow in.

"Come on, I know you can go faster than that." He said with a smirk as he kept eye-contact with me the entire time and I smirked before I nodded, Tensa Zangetsu disappearing before Kōkō Gonryō Rikyū appeared in my grasp, Storm King's Aura turning from a neon blue to a bright white as my body began to blur.

'Sandanzuki: Piercing Fang.' Everything around me slowed down to a crawl, Buddha chuckling as I stared at him for a second before I moved. The first sonic boom had not even begun to form as we clashed over and over on the ground, the dust of our footsteps just starting to rise as I stabbed at him over and over and he chuckled as he dodged around all of my blocks while also throwing in an attack of his own.

I spun and ducked under a slice while stabbing at his chest only to frown as he chuckled and moved out of the way as he shifted his blade back into a staff before he brought it down for a slam. Quickly unveiling my wings, I was in the air and behind him as I created a nodachi in my grasp.

'Hiken: Tsubame Gaeshi.' Diving down to the ground behind him while also slicing downwards, Buddha moved to the side as he dodged the attack with ease before he jumped as I spun on my heel and slashed at where his chest previously was.

Spinning around his airborne form, I delivered the final upwards slice and sighed as he leaned out of the way while landing gracefully on the ground, his khakkara floating behind me with its pointed end aimed at the back of my neck.

"Come on, gaki. You were almost there." Buddha said with a frown and I sighed as I dispersed Storm King's Aura and time began once again.

*BBOOOOOMM* *BOOOOM* *BBOOOMM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BBOOOOOMMM* *BOOOMMM* *BBBBOOOOOMMM* *BBOOOMMM* *BBOOOOOMM* *BOOOOM* *BBOOOMM*

In an instant, all of the sonic booms went off at once, a dust hurricane rising up from the ground and surrounding the entirety of the training as I heard Kuroka squeal from where she along with Bardou and Valerie were protected by a barrier formed by the smirking Wukong.

"Then again, I don't know how many beings can take that on and survive, so good job on that at least." He said with a smile and a nod and I smiled as I nodded before I stood up from the ground as his khakkara floated back in his grasp.

"Now, why don't you take care of that and we'll talk later?" He said as he pointed at my hand and I looked down at him before my eyes lightened up as I saw the Azathoth crest on the back of it.

"Oh~A request? Can I come too?" Valerie asked and I shrugged.

"Sure thing. Anyone else?" I asked and Kuroka and Bardou shook their heads.

"I really want to take a shower."

"And I want to go take a nap." I nodded before Valerie walked to stand next to me and I linked the crest on my hand to the location the signal was coming from, the Azathoth crest appearing under us before we disappeared.

Westminster, England:

Reappearing inside a dark room, I frowned at the series of runic sigils on the walls before my eyes widened and I jumped, just in time for a bright silver nail oozing a monstrous amount of Holy Aura to pierce through the area where I previously was.

Valerie was not one to waste time as she quickly created a barrier around us while also sending a barrage of elemental spells flying outwards in all directions right before the runes on the walls flew out and sealed them all away.

"Damnit, I thought that only one Devil would come through." A girl's voice came from the shadows and I threw a barrage of daggers out, Valerie and I quickly snapping our eyes shut and clamping our hands over our ears before there was a loud bang and a bright flash.

"Argh! What the hell?!" The girl shouted but I didn't waste any time as I created a great sword before stabbing it upright into the ground, the entire blade shining a bright white and illuminating the room as I touched the sealing rune on the floor and wrote out a Gremorian key to shatter it.

Just as it shattered, my eyes widened as I looked around and saw the hordes of sealing runes flying out of the shadows and trying to wrap around us before Valerie scoffed and Sephiroth Graal appeared floating around her.

Each chalice floated to form a triangle shape around us before a dark crimson liquid flooded the area around us, the runes being disintegrated the moment they tried to get into the triangle.

"Who are you?" I demanded as I created two falchions in my hands, each oozing Holy Energy as I glared at the figure, whose face was hidden thanks to the dark cloak they were wearing.

"I'm asking the questions here. Who are you?" The girl shouted back and I sighed before I slashed rapidly, runic keys latching onto each one of the seals around us before shattering them as the girl looked around in shock.

Her eyes quickly snapped to us as Vaelrie and I walked out of the broken seal, with her trying to create another seal before it was shattered as I sliced right through it and her hood.

Blue eyes hidden behind auburn hairbangs glared at me, a beautiful face with a bit of baby fat finally revealed as I raised an eyebrow.

"Val, is it just me or have I been meeting too many girls lately?" I asked and Valerie shrugged.

"Don't ask me. You're the one trying to form a harem."

"I've already told you so many times. I'm not trying to form a harem, Val." I muttered with a sigh and she smirked as we briefly forgot about the girl that tried to kill us.

"Don't ignore me, Devils!" She exclaimed and I sighed as I dispelled my blades and turned to face her.

"We're not ignoring you, miss. We're just trying to figure out what to do from now."

"My name is not miss! It's Meredith and I want you to make a pact with me!" I raised an eyebrow as I turned to Valerie, who giggled before I turned back to the frowning

"Well, Meredith, the first thing about making a pact is that you don't try and kill the Devil you're trying to make the pact with."

"I wasn't going to kill you. Alphecca Tyrant was just going to make you my servant and make you play with me." My eyes widened at her words and Valerie frowned as she charged up a spell to kill Meredith before I raised a hand to stop her.

Ain't no way…

"Why are you stopping me, Lord Isaiah? She admitted to wanting to enslave us. It would be stupid to let her go after that."

"Not now, Val. I have something else in mind." I said with a smirk, which she caught on as she rolled her eyes and dispelled Sephiroth Graal, making Meredith confused as my smirk turned into a grin.

The protagonist luck is striking again.

"Meredith, if I may ask, what country are we in?"

"England. Why do you want to know that?" Country? Check.

"I noticed that you're very good at sealing runes." I said with a smile as I looked around and here, she gave a proud grin as she nodded.

"The best in the Golden Dawn with Sealing and Security Magic." Speciality? Check.

"Also, you must have great control over Alphecca Tyrant if you can use it this well at your age."

"I…can't. I try to seal away parts of people's personalities, but it just seals away everything." She admitted with a frown and I smiled as I nodded, kneeling down and patting her on the head.

In the future, she would have been a problem, but now, she's nothing more than a 12 year old girl trying to learn how to use her Sacred Gear.

In other words…easy to manipulate to my bidding.

…Wait, that came out wrong.

"Well, how do you feel about becoming a Devil and in return, I'll be your friend and help you train to become better with your Sacred Gear?" I proposed with a smile and she looked up in surprise before she grinned excitedly.

"Really? You'll help me?!" …You know what, I almost feel bad for doing this.

Almost.

"Yeah. The cups you saw Valerie use was her Sacred Gear and mine lets me create any blade I want." I said with a demonstration by sprouting a crimson dagger from my palm, making her stare at it in awe as she poked at the dagger before it shattered into crimson motes of light and I blew it into her face. She giggled as it tickled her nose before they disappeared.

"So, what do you say?" I asked with a smile and she looked conflicted as she looked at the ground before looking up at me with a grin and a nod.

"Okay! I'll join you." I grinned excited as I nodded before taking out a Knight Piece, placing it on her forehead and feeling the link manifest as I watch it sink into her skin before the Azathoth crest appeared on her chest and shattered the next second.

Whew~Almost thought that wouldn't work.

"And just like that, you're a Devil." I cheered with a smile and clapped as she looked at her skin before her two wings sprouted from her back. She jumped as they appeared before she stared at them in wonder as she caressed her wings, giggling cheerfully before she turned to me.

"So, when do I get to train?"

"Great, we found the female version of you." Valerie muttered with a sigh and I chuckled as Meredith gave her a confused stare.

"Don't worry about her. She's just jealous." I muttered to Meredith, who giggled as Valerie mock-gagged.

"I'd rather bathe in garlic than be jealous." She said, to which Meredith giggled as I rolled my eyes with a smile, the Azathoth crest appearing under us before we disappeared from the dark room.

Buddha's Palace:

"…Valerie…you just let him kidnap a little girl?" Kuroka asked as soon as we entered the dining room, Meredith looking around in awe as Buddha, Wukong and Bardou laughed their asses off.

"Hahahahaha! Ahahahahaha! I didn't know you were the type, gaki! Ahahaha!" Wukong cackled and I rolled my eyes as Meredith just looked at them in confusion.

"She's my new Knight, Meredith. Meredith, please introduce yourself." I said with an encouraging smile and she nodded before she gave a nervous glance at the others and curtsied.

"G-Good day, everyone. My name is Meredith Ordinton, former witch of the Golden Dawn and the Knight of Isaiah. P-Please to meet everyone." Everyone was silent as they all stared at her before Kuroka squealed and rushed towards her, Meredith yelping as Kuroka picked her up and held her tightly.

"Aren't you just the cutest~?! Ooh~I'm going to spoil you rotten!"

"Lwet go! Isahai, help!" Meredith squealed as she tried to get her cheeks away from Kuroka as I smiled and shrugged, making her glare at me.

"Traitor!"

"Come, Meri! Let's go pick out your room!"

"What? When did my palace become a hotel?" Buddha asked abruptly as he stopped laughing, but Kuroka ignored him as she skipped towards the door, Meredith still struggling to get out of her grasp and Valerie shrugged before she walked to follow after them.

"Aren't you going to rescue her?" Bardou asked and I raised an eyebrow.

"And get my eyes scratched out for taking away her new plaything? Hell no, I like my eyes." I said, to which he cackled before the Azathoth crest appeared on the back of my hand once again.

"What the fu-!" I was cut off by the sigil flashing and Bardou's eyes widening as he bit onto my pants just in time for the two of us to be teleported away.

Greece, Europe:

"-ck!" I finished just as Bardou and I reappeared in a desert, Bardou transforming into his battle mode as I activated Storm King's Aura and my sensing abilities.

My eyes widened before I leaned back, a jagged cleaver carving through the air where my head was before the wielder of the cleaver jumped back as Bardou sent out a concentrated beam of fire where they were. Quickly backflipping to my feet, I created twin Holy Demonic falchions in my grasp as I glared at the perpetrator.

A man in his early 20's was grinning at me, his long black hair styled into dreadlocks and his eyes hidden by black bandages. He was dressed in nothing more than a pair of dark shorts and in his hands were dual large, jagged cleavers, chains tied to the hilts and wrapped around his arms up to his shoulders.

"Hello, there! Are you the Devil owner of this paper?!" He exclaimed happily as he held up an Azathoth pamphlet and I frowned as Bardou growled.

"And if I am?" I asked and his smirk widened as he threw the pamphlet away and tightened the grip he had on his cleavers.

"Then fight me! If I win, then I get to take your head! If I lose, you get to make me a part of your slave program!"

"…It's called a peerage." I muttered with a sigh as Bardou snickered at his words and the man waved a cleaver dismissively.

"It's all the same thing. Now, what do you say?" He asked eagerly and I frowned as I stared at him before I shrugged.

"Sure, but tell me your name first." I said and he chuckled as he slowly began to spun the cleaver in his right hand.

"The name's Samson. Samson of Israel." …You have got to kidding me? I just stared at him in shock before that shocked disappeared and giddiness took its place as I grinned.

"Bardy, Devil Shotgun." I said and Bardou cackled before he grinned at Samson, flames coating his body before he bolted forward like a blazing violet meteor. Samson grinned as he sent his cleaver flying forward, spinning the chain to wrap around Bardou before I grinned as I appeared in front of Bardou and grabbed the chain, gripping it tightly before I ripped Samson towards me.

Bardou kept on sprinting before he released a barrage of violet fireballs towards the airborne Samson only for him to grin as he swung his cleaver and carved through all of the fireballs.

"Nice! But I thought you would be fighting me on my own?" He asked as he pulled both cleavers back to him, with me chuckling as Bardou jumped back and landed next to me.

"Nah, when you got me, you got both of us." I said with a grin, Bardou nodding as Samson turned to him before he chuckled as he shrugged. In the blink of an eye, his Touki wrapped around him and he let his cleavers hang loosely in his grip before he roared, Bardou and I howling as we charged at each other.

The air screeched and crackled as fire and sword clashed, Bardou unleashing a sea of flames on Samson before he sliced right through it. His eyes widened as I appeared from behind the flames, my blades slowly slashing towards his neck before my eyes widened and I jumped, his other cleaver slicing through the air behind me and Samson grinning as he caught it before sending rearing both blades back and sending them flying at me.

Bardou reappeared from the side and bit down on both chains, ripping Samson's arms to the side just as I disappeared and reappeared in front of him, my fists crashing into his chest and sending him blasting backwards.

Before I could orient myself, he was already back on his feet and in front of me, his fist crashing into my jaw and sending me flying head over heels as a violet blaze crashed onto his position.

Quickly spinning to my feet with a grunt, I massaged my jaw as I felt the bruise forming, Bardou landing besides with a frown but I shook my head as I stared at where the fire was burning.

"Don't worry about me. He's coming." The flames were all extinguished with a blast of wind, a greatsword appearing in front of me and barely blocking the devastating double slash from him.

I grunted as I felt the ground under me cratered, blocking his blows before I gasped as a boot smashed into my chest, skidding back a bit but staying on my feet before I roared and dispersed my great sword.

Twisting to spin in between his attack and jumping into the air, he grunted as my knee crashed into his face before gasping as Bardou smashed into his chest and send him skidding backwards.

Not stopping there, I released my wings before bolting after him, my fist smashing into his face and sending him flying to the side before Bardou appeared running under him and sent him blasting skywards with a concussive heat blast.

As Samson ragdolled through the air trying to find his bearing, Bardou and I appeared around him, his eyes widening as a rapier appeared in my hand and flames coated his claws before we attacked.

Blows rained down on Samson as Bardou and I attacked him relentlessly from all directions, with him trying to use his chains to block our attacks only for Bardou to bite the chains and throw them to the side as I landed a barrage of blows on his face and sent him barrelling down into the ground.

A dust cloud exploded into existence as he crashed into the ground before Bardou and I landed in the large crater next to him, Samson chuckling as he laid on the ground with his chains lying around him and his cleavers lying off to the side.

"Hahahaha! N-Nice!" He coughed out with a happy grin as he slowly and carefully pulled himself out of the crater. I rolled my eyes as I deactivated Storm King's Aura and Bardou transformed back into his normal form, sitting down on his haunches as I helped Samson out of the ground.

"So, why did you attack us the moment we appeared?" I asked curiously and he shrugged as he easily wound up the chains back over his arms and hooked the hilts of his cleavers onto the sides of his pants.

"Just wanted someone strong to fight. I've killed and summoned dozens of Devils that think that they can make me a part of their peerage, but none of them ever were strong enough to beat me." He said with a shrug and I hummed as I nodded before I shrugged.

"Meh, their loss. So, what do you say about me making you into a Devil now?" I asked and he grinned as he nodded.

"Sure, if that means I'll get to actually fight you one on one instead of you using a loophole to beat me." He said with a smirk and I chuckled as I reached into my pocket dimension and pulled out a Rook.

"You didn't say I couldn't. Got to love the loopholes." I said as I placed the Rook on his chest before I frowned as I saw nothing happening.

"Damn, how strong are you?" I muttered as I took out the second Rook and placed it alongside the first, sighing in relief as I watched the two pieces sink into his chest and felt the link connect.

"Huh, I don't feel any different." Samson muttered with a frown as he clenched his fist and I grinned as I pulled my fist and smashed it into his chest, smirking as both of us just stared at where my fist was against his chest before he grinned.

"I stand corrected. Hahahahaha! Amazing!" He exclaimed happily and I grinned as Bardou sighed.

"Great. Another one like your rival, Master. This isn't going to end well."

"So, you have a rival, huh? I wonder how strong he is." Samson muttered and I grinned as Bardou and I stood besides him before the Azathoth crest appeared under us and we disappeared.

Dining Room, Buddha's Palace:

Reappearing back in the dining room, I was greeted by Buddha and Wukong sitting at a table and focusing intently on a shogi board between the two of them.

"Great to see that I matter to you two." I grumbled and both just gave me a thumbs-up, not even taking their eyes off the board.

"If you're my student, a simple assassination threat is easy to get rid off." Buddha said as he moved a piece.

"And I'm too lazy to worry about you. You can take care of yourself." Wukong answered before he grinned and moved a piece, making Buddha click his tongue as Wukong cackled. I just sighed as Bardou snickered and Samson just gave me a confused stare.

"Let's just go and find you a room." I muttered as I turned and walked out of the dining room, Samson shrugging before he and Bardou followed after me towards the Residence Wing.

"My palace is not a hotel!" Buddha's voice came out after him before I heard him curse as Wukong cackled gleefully.

"Now, first thing you need to know about the peerage is that you are the only Rook in it. Four members of the peerage, except for you, are already living in Buddha's palace, Bardou being one of them." He glanced at Bardou, who just gave a grin and a nod, before he turned back to me.

"And who are all part of the peerage exactly?" "Kuroka, the Queen, Valerie, the only Bishop of the group, Bardou, the Knight, Meredith, the other Knight. Then, there are Genshirou and Issei, but the two of them are in school and training on their own, so they're still too busy to join us." I explained and he nodded before I smiled as I saw Meredith rushing towards me. As she noticed me, she instantly ran to hide behind me as she glared down the hallway just as Kuroka came rushing down it.

"Isa! Where is Meri?"

"Behind me. What did you do?" I asked her with an intense stare, to which she just pouted and huffed.

"She tried to put me in a dress."

"You would have looked cute~!"

"Kuroka, no forcing others to do what you want or else, you'll be sleeping in your own room for the next month."

"I'll be good." She answered instantly and Bardou snickered before she noticed Samson just as Valerie floated out of her room and gave Samson a confused glance.

"Ladies, this is Samson, my one and only Rook since he took both Pieces to be reincarnated."

"Damn, that's some power." Kuroka said with an impressed smirk and Samson grinned as he nodded.

"Ahaha! Yes, but Lord Isaiah's power is still greater than mine! Therefore, I shall commence training as soon as possible to surpass him!" He exclaimed excitedly, drawing weirded-out stares from the girls as I chuckled.

"Sure thing, Samson. Your room is the 3rd door on the left. Your training begins tomorrow."

"Yes, my lord. I eagerly await this training!" He said happily before he walked towards his room, the girls watching him leave before they stared at me.

"Battle maniac that loves to fight." Was all I said and they nodded in understanding before I turned to Meredith.

"So, Meri, why don't you go and rest and tomorrow, we'll figure out your Sacred Gear?"

"I'm not…uwah~ I'm not tired." She tried and failed to keep her yawn back and I smiled as I patted her on the head.

"Go on. Training can wait 'till tomorrow."

"I guess I am feeling a bit sleepy, but just a bit!" She quickly clarified and I chuckled as I nodded before she walked towards her room, entering it while giving Kuroka a wary glance.

"Okay, everyone. I'm tired from training and Samson trying to kill me, so I'll see you all tomorrow."

"Wait, what?! You're not just telling us that and then walking away!" Kuroka shouted at me, but I chuckled as I passed Valerie her Peach piece for the day and she gulped it down in one bite before I walked towards my room with a rapidly talking Kuroka next to me.

Two Months Later:

Shakya Training Ground:

3rd Person POV:

"Stand still and fight me, cowards!" Samson roared as he brought his cleavers down onto two figures only for the two figures to dodge to the sides and evade his blow.

"Issei, formation Serpent!" Saji shouted as twin purple snake-headed gauntlets appeared on his hands, dozens of pale blue coloured ropes sprouting from them before they all ripped through the air and wrapped around Samson's chains and body.

He roared as he tried to rip himself out only for the vines to be abruptly loosened as a crimson blur smashed into his face and sent him skidding backward. Samson anchored his feet into the ground and stopped his movement, spitting a bit of blood to the side as he glared at the now nervously sweating Issei and Saji before he roared and his Touki wrapped around him.

"Run, Saji! RUN!" Issei exclaimed and Saji did not waste any time as he and Issei bolted around the training ground, Samson leaving craters and shock waves in his wake as he bulldozed after them.

"So, what if I don't use my True Form for now? What if we use something else?" Isaiah asked Buddha, Valerie, Meredith and Kuroka, all of them ignoring the devastation and destruction happening behind them while Wukong and Bardou ate popcorn and enjoyed the chaos.

"What do you mean?" Buddha asked with a frown and Isaiah grinned as he pulled out a stack of papers.

"I mean, what if I use a runic pattern to power up my Sacred Gears past the point of Balance Break and near the level of the Juggernaut Drive/ Breakdown the Beast level?" He proposed with an excited grin as he laid out the patterns in front of them and they all picked up the papers to examine them as Buddha just stared at him.

"That would mean sacrificing thousands of your years from your lifespan every time you use the form."

"See, that's the thing. What if I don't need to? What if I just create a complex runic pattern that will convert half of the Demonic energy I produce on a daily basis into life energy, then store that energy on some part of my body and when I use this form, I activate this storage and use it as a battery instead?"

"Yes, but that would also create a limit on how much you can use. With how much energy you produce and how impure Demonic Energy is compared to Life Energy, you'd be filling only 0.5% to 0.8% of the battery up every day. The longest a Juggernaut Drive has been used for in history was 5 minutes and that was with a Devil Hybrid that used 8 000 years of lifespan in that five minutes to power that Juggernaut Drive. Not to mention, your idea is untested, a prototype. Who knows what complications could come from the runes and the conversion of Demonic to Life Energy?"

"Well, luckily for me, I have the best experts in Life Energy right here." He said with a grin and Buddha just stared at him before he sighed.

"Fine, fine. I guess since you're too lazy to try and figure out a way to access your True Form, Plan B is an option. Give me five days. I'll have it figure out by then."

"I can help with the Demonic Energy to Life Energy Conversion." Kuroka said with a grin and Buddha nodded at her.

"And we'll help Lord Isaiah with the runic scheme." Meredith said and Valerie nodded in agreement as Isaiah smiled.

"Then that's that. Now, let's get started."

"Boss! HELP!"

"…As soon as I save those two from Samson." He muttered with a sigh and the group snickered as he stood up and rolled up his sleeves, his Touki wrapping around him before he bolted across the training ground.

Spinning through the air, Samson only had chance to slightly turn his head before Isaiah's feet crashed into his face, sending him flying back as he landed in front of the other two.

"Next time, don't try and tease him too much you two." Isaiah said with a smirk and the two gave a sheepish chuckle before they heard Samson cackling.

"I knew you would join, Lord Isaiah! Let us re-enact our battle!" He exclaimed as he gripped his cleavers tightly and Isaiah sighed as he created a greatsword and rested its blunt side on his shoulders.

"Issei, you're on support. Saji, long-range coverage."

"Sure thing." Issei said with a grin as the Boosted Gear covered his left hand, Saji just nodding as he placed his hands on the ground and a large purple sigil covered the ground. Samson frowned as his Touki disappeared before black flames wrapped around the field and sealed the four of them in a sphere of darkness.

"Go!" Isaiah shouted as he bolted towards Samson, Issei following him as Saji sent a barrage of ropes flying alongside them and Samson roared gleefully before he barrelled towards them.

Six Months Later:

Buddha's Palace:

Isaiah's POV:

"So, you're going back home?" I asked Meredith and she smiled as she nodded, both of us standing on the outskirts of Buddha's Palace in the death of night while everyone else was asleep.

"Yeah, I found out who my Dad is and I need to see if he's still alive." She said and I smiled as I patted her on the head.

"Then you come back to us safely, okay?"

"I'd be worried about the trouble you'd get into than about me." She said with a teasing grin and I chuckled as I nodded.

"See you in a couple of months, then, and good luck." "See you, Boss." She said with a salute, mimicking Saji and Issei and I rolled my eyes with a grin as the Azathoth crest appeared under her before she disappeared.

"You're not going after her? That's unlike you." Buddha said with a grin as he appeared out of thin air from besides me, making me smile as I stared at the spot where she disappeared.

"Six months ago, I would have said that she was not ready to go out on her own, but now, with her mastery over Alphecca Tyrant and being better than me in Sealing and Security runes, she'd probably seal away any threat and teleport back to us before the threat can even blink."

"That's true. It takes you a while to even break out of her seals." He said with a nod, to which I smirked as I turned and walked back to my room.

"Good night, gaki."

"Good night, Buddha."

Two Months Later:

Buddha's Palace, Mt. Everest:

"I swear if you come back here again, I will be charging you." Buddha said with a frown and the group snickered as I gave a sheepish chuckle and nodded.

"Yeah, I am sorry for just showing up out of the blue." I apologized and he stared at me before he sighed and shook his head.

"I suppose I should have told you to keep your ass out." He muttered and I chuckled as he grinned.

"You got everything ready?" Wukong asked and I nodded as Kuroka answered.

"House has been bought and placed under enough seals to rival this place."

"You wish." Buddha said with an eye roll, making Kuroka pout as the others giggled.

"Now, you gakis watch over the head gaki. Who knows what kind of chaos he can cook up if you leave him alone for too long?"

"We'll try our best, Lord Buddha." Kuroka said with a nod, Valerie, Samson and Bardou nodding with her as I grumbled.

"I'm not that bad." Kuroka just giggled as she patted me on the head and Buddha grinned at me.

"Who was the one who destroyed half of Mt. Kilimanjaro when he used his new-found Abyss Break?"

"You when I told you the form was not combat ready." I answered with a deadpan, to which he just waved his hand dismissively.

"I did, you did. Who can tell after all this time? Now, go on into your new life and out of mine. Buddha needs his free time."

"Wukong, please watch over him and make sure he doesn't try to destroy the planet out of boredom." I said, to which Buddha gave me the middle finger as Wukong cackled.

"I'll try, Little Wolf, but no promises." I just smiled as I nodded before the Azathoth crest appeared under us.

"See you never, you old fossil!"

"Good riddance, you damned brat." He said with a grin and I chuckled before the circle flashed and we disappeared.
