Three Months Later:
Azathoth Shipping Corporation(ASC), Kuoh Town:
Isaiah's POV:
"Sign here. Then here. And finally, we have the alliance agreement with Gremory Large Enterprise that Lord Gremory sent us earlier today…and…you're done for the day, Isa!" Kuroka said happily as she sorted the paperwork, making me groan in relief as I massaged my right hand, feeling the cramps already setting in.
"Is the outfit necessary?" I asked her with a deadpan as I stared at her outfit that she had on, making her giggle before she shrugged.
She was dressed in a long sleeved white dress shirt that had a few top buttons unbuttoned, a black pencil skirt that went to the middle of her thighs and black high-heels, with her hair done up in a bun and wearing black semi-rimmed glasses.
I was just in a dark grey dress shirt with the top button unbuttoned, black dress pants and black dress shoes, my tie hanging over my shoulders and a dark grey suit jacket hanging over the back of my chair.
We were seated in a large office, with a large office window at the top of a 50 floor skyscraper office that overlooked the city. I knew that right under my office was a large A.S.C. sign in neon blue and I sighed as Kuroka sat down in the chair besides me.
"You know, maybe Valerie was the better secretary than you." I muttered, to which Kuroka just gave me a smile and made me sigh.
"I have to ask, was it necessary for the giant skyscraper?" She asked and I grinned as I nodded, spinning in my chair and facing the office window.
"Yep, every man has that childish dream of being the head of a big company and seeing the entire city from the great view of his office at the top of a skyscraper." I said, to which she just rolled her eyes with a smile before she pushed her chair closer.
"You know, with Akeno and Tsubaki at school and the rest of the peerage out on business, you and I could get started on perhaps repopulating the Nekoshou race?"
"I leave for less than six months and already you're trying to jump Lord Isaiah's bones?" A familiar voice said and I grinned happily as I turned back around, spotting the cloaked form standing in the middle of the office before they removed their hood and revealed the grinning face of Meredith.
She had grown her hair out to shoulder-length from the short cut she had and her blue eyes shimmered brightly as I walked around my desk before wrapping her in a hug, with her giggling as she hugged me back before noticing the smiling Kuroka standing up from her chair.
"And how have you been, Kuroka?"
"I missed my fluffy night pillow, so not that well." Meredith just giggled as she pulled away from me and hugged Kuroka, with Kuroka hugging her back tightly as they swayed from side to side.
"How was the business you had to leave on?" I asked as they broke the hug and Meredith smiled as she nodded.
"I fixed the problems I had with my father and relinquished my membership to the Golden Dawn, so now, I'm officially a fully pledged member of the Azathoth peerage."
"That's good to hear. Now, how about you tell us everything about how your last few months have been going while Kuroka gets us lunch?"
"Why does Kuroka have to get you lunch?" She asked, to which both of us turned and raised an eyebrow at her, making her pout as she grumbled and walked out of the office.
"I can't believe the double eyebrow still works with her." Meredith whispered to me and I grinned as I winked before we sat down.
Later that day, Afternoon:
Kuoh's Shimura Shipping and Transport Enterprise HQ, Kuoh Town:
"Well, look who grew up! Where the hell have you been, ya damn bastard?" A tall, handsome man with long, brown hair tied into a ponytail and amber eyes exclaimed with a grin as he stood up from his chair and I noticed the large office that I was in, frowning a bit in confusion before my eyes widened as I grinned.
"Well, I'll be damned. Shimura Hisoka, where's the blunt smoking guy I met a few years ago?!" I said happily as I stretched out a hand, Hisoka chuckling as he shook my hand before wrapping me in a man-hug.
"That blunt smoking guy grew up to inherit his father's company, but I have to know, why the hell were you ignoring my calls?" He asked with a frown and I gave a sheepish chuckle as I scratched the back of my head.
"Well, let's just say I was off the grid for the past few years and leave it at that." I said, to which he just stared me before sighing and shaking his head with a smile.
"Quick question, where's the rest of the group?" I asked and he chuckled as he shrugged.
"Saru and Haru fully joined the Kyoto Kitsunes after you disappeared and are probably competing in a tournament overseas by now and Yazu's family moved to America, but I do keep up with him with monthly calls." I smiled as I nodded, with him smirking as he plopped down in what I now noticed to be a bean-bag chair in front of a huge flat-screen TV.
"So, what have you been all this time apart from going off the grid?" He asked as he reached for the bar fridge net to him and pulled out two cans of beer, tossing one at me and I chuckled as I plopped down onto a bean-bag chair next to him, both of us opening our beers before I spoke.
"Well, apart from my training, I've also started my own little company." "You mean the Azathoth Shipping Corporation?" He asked with a smirk, chuckling at my surprised gaze as he shrugged.
"You're the only Azathoth I know and from what I heard from my employees, they've seen a handsome blue-eyed blonde haired teenager walking into the building. Combine that with the information my informants handed me and I figured out that it was either you or some other handsome blonde guy. I guess it was just luck that it was you."
"And you're not mad about another shipping company in Kuoh?" I asked and he chuckled as he shook his head.
"Nah, my company is mostly focused on international shipping and from I assume, your company is more focused on shipping and delivering locally in Japan by land and air, right?" He asked and I nodded, making him smile as he nodded.
"Yeah, if we can, a trading agreement between our companies would be great as any products that I need to trade by land could be done by you and any trading you need done internationally can be done by me."
"That sounds good, but let's get to the real reason you called me here." I said with a smirk and he just chuckled as he turned on his fusion of a Xbox-Playstation console before picking up a controller and tossing it at me, making me sigh as I plopped down in the chair next to him.
"Well, come on. The rest of the team isn't here and I have a few years of ass-beating to give out to you." He said with a grin, making me chuckle as the MoD logo appeared on the screen.
An hour later:
"This was a nice addition to my day." He said and I nodded, a couple of empty beer cans around us as we both just laid back into the bean-bags, a comforting silence reigning in the atmosphere before it was broken by a loud beep coming from the device at my side.
"And that's the timer. Looks like we'll have to do this next week." I said with a sigh as I stood up, Hisoka chuckling as he gave a thumbs-up.
"I'll send the usual amount as your payment."
"Nah, it's on the house. Think of our deal as payment." I said, making him smirk as he nodded before the Azathoth crest appeared under me and I disappeared.
Azathoth Mansion, Kuoh Town:
"Lord Isaiah!" The gardeners working on the courtyard said with a bow and I sighed as I shook my head.
"Everyone, come on. There's no need for the lord. Just Isaiah is fine, okay?"
"Yes, Lord Isaiah!" I just sighed further before I waved my hand, all of them continuing with their work as I walked towards the large 3 story mansion in front of me.
"Good afternoon, Lord Isaiah." Valerie said with a bow as I walked into the mansion, groaning as she gave me an amused smirk.
"You're just doing that to mess with me at this point, aren't you?"
"I have no idea what you're doing about." She said innocently, making me sigh as I walked towards the living room, with her following after me.
"Where's everyone else?" I asked and she shrugged.
"Samson and Bardou are fighting in the backyard. Kuroka and Meredith are busy catching up in the rose gardens and Rias and the others are still in school." I nodded as I walked into the living room, sitting down on one of the sofas as Valerie floated and sat down in the one opposite of me.
"So, how was your first day as manager of Human Resources?" I asked, chuckling as she let out a soft groan and laid back on the sofa.
"The amounts of sexual harassment complaints I got from the men were astronomically large."
"…Valerie, we have five guys working for the company and two of those are myself and Samson as head of Security."
"I know, but Lady Gremory picked three handsome Low-Class devils and with you being taken by Kuroka and Samson not wanting to be in a relationship, that leaves the three sacrificial lambs."
"Hah, I guess I'll talk to everyone tomorrow about leaving the guys alone when they're working."
"That's not the thing! Each one complained that they expected the women to be hitting on them the most instead of the other two."
"So, what you're saying is that they want the women to hit on them more?" I asked in confusion, with it growing as she nodded rapidly.
"…You know what, you do what you think is best, because Satans knows my head is just getting more and more jumbled." I muttered, to which she just sighed before I stood up.
"And where are you going?" Kuroka asked as she walked into the room, Meredith skipping behind her and waving at me before she plopped into the seat next to Valerie.
"Going to see the girls since it's late afternoon and they're probably at their clubs right now. Wanna come with?" I asked and she smiled as she shook her head.
"I've had enough of you for the day. You should go and bother the other two for the rest of the day."
"What I'm hearing is that you're saying no to movie night."
"I said no such thing!" She exclaimed, as if scandalized, and I chuckled as I nodded, the Azathoth crest appearing under me before I disappeared.
Kuoh Academy Main Gate:
As I reappeared in an alleyway, I walked out and down the right to where I saw a large school building, groups of teenagers around my age walking out of the gate.
All of them were dressed in uniforms and a few girls and boys gave me curious stares as I walked towards the main gate while still dressed in my business outfit.
"Isa!" I heard Akeno's voice and looked to the side before I chuckled as I saw her rushing towards me, the groups of students around us looking shocked as she leapt into my arms before gasps echoed around us as she wrapped her legs around my waist and gave me a searing deep kiss.
"Isa! Akeno! Not in front of the entire school!" Rias' shout made Akeno groan and me chuckle as she pulled back, giving the glaring Rias a sour glare as I put Akeno back on the ground. Tsubaki and Sona were with her and as Tsubaki gave the smirking Akeno a discreet glare, I gave her a subtle signal for later and she giggled as she nodded.
"What? Am I not allowed to kiss my boyfriend?" Akeno asked with her arms crossed and an eyebrow raised, drawing even more shocked gasps from the group as I smirked and patted her on the head.
"Now, now. Let's not cause trouble for Rias and Sona, Akeno." I said, to which she just pouted as I smirked at the giggling Rias.
"Nothing to see here, everyone! Continue with your day!" Sona exclaimed as she cleared out the staring students, with me catching a few sour glares from a few boys and interested glances and giggles from a few girls before I grunted slightly as Akeno elbowed me in the side.
"If you don't have a valid reason for that, I'm going to spank you." I whispered to her, making her shiver in excitement before she giggled.
"I just wanted to cause you some pain."
"…That's good enough." I said with a knowing smirk, which widened as she just glared at me before huffing as I turned to Rias and the others.
"So, why are you here apart from causing chaos as usual, Isaiah?" Sona asked and I shrugged.
"My work is done for the day, so I decided why not come to bother my favourite ladies in the world?"
"…So basically, you came to cause trouble as usual?" She asked, sighing as I nodded happily, making the others giggle before I grinned.
"On a serious note, though, I came to inform you two that I'll be leaving Kuoh in a week's time, BUT it's just for a few days, perhaps a week." I clarified as Rias, Tsubaki and Akeno glared at me.
"And why would you need to leave Kuoh?" Rias asked with a frown as I shrugged.
"Officially, a business deal in Kyoto with a merchant. Unofficially, as the new 'star' of the Underworld since the incident with Zekram and the Bael Clan, I'm being sent to negotiate a non-aggression and trading peace treaty with the Youkai." I said, to which Rias just stared at me before she spoke.
"And what about your peerage?" She asked and I shook my head.
"They're all staying here, since only I'm allowed to enter Kyoto for the deal." I said and she just sighed as she nodded.
"Fine, but please, don't cause a war between the Shinto Pantheon and the Devils while you're there." She said and I just grinned as I shrugged.
"That depends on the Youkai." I said, to which she just rolled her eyes before Akeno spoke.
"We demand an extra five hours of cuddle time tonight." She said, with Tsubaki nodding and the two Kings sighing as I chuckled.
"You're sleeping in the same bed as me. I'm pretty sure that's already more than enough cuddle time." They just pouted as I stared at them before I groaned.
"Fine, you can come over early then." "Yes!" The two cheered, making me roll my eyes as the two Kings giggled.
And they wonder why I value my alone time.
Neo-Kyoto:
A Week later:
Reappearing out of the Azathoth crest, I marvelled at the traditional-esque structures in front of me before I noticed the group of bushy-tailed beings waiting in front of a gate.
"Welcome to Neo-Kyoto, Azathoth-sama. I am your guide for your stay, Asami." A beautiful brown-haired woman, wearing a white, traditional miko shrine outfit with cat-like ears on the top of her head, said with a bow, the group of masked tailed men bowing with her as I smiled and bowed back before I spoke.
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you."
"Unfortunately, Yasaka-sama is unavailable today, so you'll only get to have the meeting tomorrow. In the meantime, we are to fulfill your desires to the best of our capabilities." She said and I grinned excitedly.
"Are there any dango shops nearby?" The questions must have been something they didn't expect as they all looked surprised before Asami nodded.
"U-Um, there is one a few blocks away."
"Then, please take me there. After that, we're going to the ramen shop and then, the soba noodle stall."
"I-Is that all?" She asked and I just grinned as I shook my head.
"Oh no. That's just the start." That made them gulp slightly as I chuckled before we started walking.
This is an all-expense trip giving by the Satans and I'm going to make sure I spend.
