3rd Person POV:
"So, are you actually trying to kill me because I exposed you to the Underworld?" Isaiah asked Bedeze with a smirk as he rolled his shoulders, Bedeze frowning as he sighed.
"It's not just that. It's because of the fact that you, a reincarnated Devil, has been blessed to grow to the same level as the strongest Devils in the Underworld in less than a fifth the time it took us. That will not do as all know only those with noble pure blood are allowed to become that strong."
"…If that isn't the stupidest reasoning I've heard to kill someone, then I don't know what is." Isaiah said with a raised eyebrow and Bedeze just rolled his eyes.
"I do not expect a lesser Devil to understand my reasoning, but perhaps I can show you." A raging Touki aura instantly covered Isaiah as he quickly leaned his head to the side, a miniature black hole opening right next to his head as it fired a beam of powerful energy.
"Good dodging skills, but let's see how many you can dodge." Bedeze said with a smirk as he snapped his fingers, dozens of black holes appearing around Isaiah in a sphere formation.
Yet, Isaiah didn't even look concerned as he closed his eyes with a smirk and activated his sensing abilities, ducking and weaving around the bombardment of lasers with ease as Bedeze frowned and snapped his fingers.
The black holes disappeared and Isaiah chuckled as he opened his eyes, smiling at Bedeze as he waved.
"Come on, that was actually starting to become fun." Isaiah said with a smile as Bedeze just scoffed.
"You can't leave this world unless you beat myself and my entire peerage, which means that I don't have to worry about trying to attack you." He said with a smile, to which Isaiah just stared at him before he groaned.
"I know you're baiting me, but I really don't want to stay here a moment longer, so I suppose I'll take care of this quickly." Isaiah muttered with a sigh as he deactivated his Touki and activated Storm King's Aura, a bright silver light shining in his palm before it transformed into a dark silver longsword.
In the blink of an eye, Isaiah was already in front of Bedeze, slashing at his neck before he clicked his tongue as a black hole appeared next to his neck and completely absorbed the blade.
Another black hole appeared next to Isaiah and he frowned as he let go of the sword and jumped, the sphere sending the blade flying out under him as he spun and snapped out a roundhouse.
His leg was quickly absorbed by a black hole and Isaiah's eyes widened as he released his wings and flew backwards, just in time as the hole closed just as his foot made it out, making Bedeze sigh in frustration as Isaiah landed a few feet away.
'So, most attacks are going to be useless against him because of his Hole ability, which means I need a new type of blade to use. Wait…hehe~" Isaiah giggled as an idea came to mind, confusing Bedeze as he stretched his hand out to the side.
"Balance Break." Light condensed around his hand before it transformed into a jagged cleaver-like sword with a pitch black blade and a crimson hilt with a small chain hanging from the pommel. Bedeze frowned as he noticed the air around the blade warping.
"Nozarashi x Tensa Zangetsu." Isaiah said with a smirk before he disappeared, reappearing in front of Bedeze. Bedeze frowned as he created a large black hole in front of him to absorb the attack before his eyes widened as the blade carved clean through the black hole and Bedeze quickly moved out of the way as the blade barely missed him.
He didn't get time to gather himself as Isaiah quickly slashed at him, making Bedeze grit his teeth as he ducked and weaved around Isaiah's attack before jumping back as a dark crystalline aura covered his form.
Isaiah then stabbed at him only for his eyes to widen as Bedeze slapped away the blade with naught but a cut on the back on his hand before he pulled his fist back and punched at his head.
Isaiah tilted his head out of the way before he grunted as the fist grazed the side of his head, his vision spinning as the air around his head warped and twisted. Bedeze took advantage of his dizziness to deliver a haymaker into his jaw, making Isaiah stumble backwards before he gasped as a heavy jab into his chest sent him flying backwards and into a car.
"Argh! Damn it!" Isaiah grunted as he ripped himself out of the destroyed car, wincing as he took a deep breath and felt a few cracked ribs before he glared at the smirking Bedeze.
"You're going to get fucked up right now." Isaiah said with a smirk as the full power Storm King's Aura roared to life, Bedeze's eyes widening as Isaiah blurred forward and tackling him dead in the chest.
He then snarled as a hole appeared under them, both of falling through the portal and reappeared high in the sky as Isaiah spun through the air before chucking him at the ground as hard as he could.
Bedeze just grunted as he created a series of portals around him, Isaiah's eyes widening as Bedeze disappeared into one before jumping from portal to portal, reappearing behind Isaiah and landing a hard jab into the back of his head.
Isaiah didn't let that stop him as he spun with the blow, landing a hard hook into his jaw only to grunt as Bedeze spun through one portal and reappeared from another, spinning through the air and landing a roundhouse that sent Isaiah blasting through a portal. Isaiah quickly grew disoriented as he flashed from portal to portal, Bedeze disappearing alongside him as he landed attack from attack while Isaiah tried to figure up from down.
'Satan…damn…it!' Isaiah cursed in his mind as he rag dolled through the air, creating a whip-sword in his grasp before he swung it around wildly, Bedeze disappearing into a portal before walking out of another onto the ground.
Isaiah shook his head as the portals around him disappeared, making him groan as he shook away his dizziness before his eyes widened as his left arm sunk into a portal.
He was too late in pulling it back as Bedeze snapped his fingers, Isaiah stifling his scream of pain as his left arm was completely severed at the upper arm and disappeared to who knows where,
"With that, I don't have to worry about one of your arms. Next, I'll take a leg, but do not worry. Your life won't end until you're begging me to do so." Isaiah gritted his teeth as he placed a hand against his stump, runes flowing out and stopping the bleeding as he glared at Bedeze.
With a lunge, Isaiah was in front of Bedeze, a crimson dirk in his hands that was overflowing with Holy energy before he stabbed at his throat. Bedeze chuckled with an amused smile as he moved out of the way of the blow and countered with a jab, frowning as Isaiah moved out of the way of the attack before stomping his foot on the ground and releasing a shield of Holy blades around him.
Bedeze scoffed as he leapt back, landing safely out of reach of the blades as Isaiah stood upright and cracked his neck.
"You seriously lost an arm against this imbecile. I must say I'm embarrassed to have you as my main consciousness."
'I don't need your backseat fighting right now, Mel.'
"…You have Storm God's Aura and your sensing abilities. Stop wasting damn time and finish off this idiot already."
'So basically it's time for some suicidal ideas.' Isaiah said with a sigh and Mel chuckled as he hummed.
"Risk your life to win instead of fighting to survive." He said with a grin and Isaiah closed his eyes with a chuckle as the whip-blade in his grasp dispersed, Bedeze frowning as Storm King's Aura disappeared.
"Fine…I guess no more holding back." Isaiah muttered with a sigh, rolling his neck before his eyes snapped open as his clothes disappeared and the signature bright blue toga and crown appeared on his form, his eyes turning an abyssal black with bright blue stars for pupils.
"I was hoping to take you back alive since you're a pure-blood Devil and I'd rather not have the Pillars on my ass again, but since you actually ripped my arm off, I shall respond in kind." Isaiah said with a sigh and Bedeze gasped in pain as something smashed into his gut. Looking down, his eyes widened at Isaiah's vibrating fist buried into his stomach before he looked back up at the wide grin on his face.
"Whenever I attack, you use your Hole ability over the affected area to make my attack miss, but if I can vibrate my arm to the same frequency as the affected area, then my attacks won't miss."
"Y-You're tearing your body apart. You're insane." Bedeze muttered in shock, to which Isaiah just chuckled as he nodded.
"In the world of the strong, the crazy are the ones who truly thrive." Isaiah said with a smile as he pulled his fist back, Bedeze leaping before he gasped as the fist flashed forward once again and smashed into his jaw, rattling his brain.
"And someone who depends on a source of power they did not earn…" Bedeze jumped backwards into a portal before his eyes widened as Isaiah was already waiting on the other side, snapping his leg out and delivering a devastating snap kick to his jaw. Teeth were knocked out and blood flew as Bedeze spun through the air, completely disoriented as Isaiah appeared in front of him, gasping for air as he was smashed into the ground with a double foot stomp.
"Has no right to even speak about power." Isaiah snarled as he glared at him, electricity shocking Bedeze relentlessly before he gasped as Isaiah stood off of his chest.
"Now, time to take a nap." Bedeze tried to move, but he couldn't as his muscles stiffened up, Isaiah not wasting any time as he pulled back his vibrating fist covered in dense lightning and Touki before he brought it down onto Bedeze's skull.
Shock waves ripped through the air as the ground cratered and the air vibrated, Bedeze giving one final gasp as a pillar of lightning smashed into his skull before it exploded, gore and blood flying everywhere as Isaiah glared at the corpse before huffing as he stood up.
Isaiah vs Bedeze:
Winner: Isaiah
Battle time: 1 minute 32 seconds
"Great, that's another pure-blood to my name." Isaiah muttered before he groaned as he felt his torn muscles and broken bones, most of which were caused by Storm God's aura, before he smiled as he felt familiar presences walking closer.
"You look like you've been through shit." Samson said with a grin as he still had Valerie in his arms, Bardou trotting next to him.
"And you look like you had the time of your life." Isaiah said with a smile, to which Samson just chuckled as Bardou scoffed.
"I'm glad we're not the only ones that had a hard time." Issei said with a grin as he and Saji limped towards them while supporting each other and Kuroka waved off Isaiah's concern as Meredith helped her walk.
"Just a fractured foot, nothing too severe."
"Huh, I just have a few cracked ribs, torn muscles and a missing arm." Isaiah said with a grin, to which Issei scoffed.
"Twelve broken ribs and internal bleeding. I win…" Issei trailed off as he passed out, Saji just rolling his eyes as everyone else chuckled/ giggled.
"I swear the idiot doesn't realize when he's been severely injured." Saji muttered as he threw Issei over his shoulders and Isaiah nodded before he looked up as the sky above them shattered.
"Get ready for teleportation." Isaiah said and everyone walked closer towards him, the Azathoth crest appearing under them before they disappeared as the air around them shattered to reveal Kuoh Town whole and safe.
The Next Day:
Hospital Wing, Azathoth Manor:
"I guess I'm glad we're not the only ones who had problems yesterday." Isaiah said with a smile before wincing as Akeno elbowed him in the side with a frown, making him sigh as he wrapped an arm around her.
"Don't worry. We can replace the arm with a prosthetic of sorts."
"Perhaps we can ask the Abaddon clan where their portals lead to and then we can figure out a way to bring it back." Tsubaki said with a hopeful smile, which withered as Isaiah shook his head.
"The Hole is a Clan Trait, which means they're not going to give any information on it no matter how much you beg them. I suppose I can learn to live with just the one arm."
"You could get a sick runic arm to use in its place." Issei chimed in from the side, drawing glares from Tsubaki, Kuroka, Rias and Akeno as Isaiah grinned.
"You see? That's why you're my favourite in the peerage."
"Thanks." His peerage said dryly, to which he just shrugged before the door opened and Sona walked in.
"Lord Lucifer will be arriving soon to take everyone's account of what exactly happened as well as the fate of the members of Bedeze's peerage that are still alive." Isaiah smiled as he nodded before he laid back on the bed.
"Well, I'm still a bit tired, so I'll see you all tomorrow." And with that, he laid back on the bed, closing his eyes and it did not take him long to be completely asleep, Akeno smiling as she moved a few hairs out of his face.
"Who is still alive of Bedeze's peerage?" Rias asked and Sona sighed.
"Laxus Dreyar and Tom Riddle are the only members still alive of his peerage, though Laxus is the only one coherent enough to speak as Tom has been doing nothing but babbling all the time." She explained, to which Issei looked at them.
"Was Tom the one you found on the right side of the city?" He asked and winced as she nodded.
"Yeah, his babbling is because of Valerie's Balance Breaker. It's basically her force-feeding you knowledge not meant to be known by any single person and so, it can cause your brain to melt in ways you can only imagine. We found that out when she read a single sentence to us." He explained, making them all pale slightly as Kuroka shook her head.
"That headache was probably the worst pain I've felt in my entire life. None of us could barely think coherent thoughts for the next couple of days and had to rest it off. After that, Isa made sure to tell Valerie to not use her Balance Breaker with allies around her."
"Not to mention the nausea." Issei grumbled, to which Kuroka just groaned as the others looked wary.
"So, basically, don't anger Valerie." Rias said and the two nodded.
"No matter what, unless you want your brain to be leaking out of your ears." They said and she sighed before she turned to Akeno.
"Mother's probably going to contact me later tonight for a meeting on our battle. Would you go with or would you want to stay?" "I'll stay." She said and Rias smiled as she nodded before walking out of the room.
"You can stay as well, Tsubaki. We both know your mind would not be focused on work right now." Sona said with a smile and Tsubaki just smiled and nodded as Sona followed Rias out. Kuroka, Tsubaki and Akeno were left sitting alone in the quiet room as Isaiah's peerage have all decided to fall asleep apart from Samson, who was standing as bodyguard next to the door.
"I'm going to take a short nap." Kuroka muttered and Tsubaki and Akeno smiled and nodded as she laid down next to Isaiah, snuggling into him before she sighed and slowly fell asleep.
"Want to play a game while we wait?" Tsubaki asked with a smile as she lifted a portable chess board and Akeno didn't answer as she pulled a table towards them, making Tsubaki giggle softly as they quickly set up the chess board.
