A few days later:

Azathoth Traininig Grounds, Azathoth Manor:

Isaiah's POV:

*BOOM*

"Faster! You guys are still unable to hit me!" I exclaimed as I leapt back from a flurry of heavy kicks from Samson, flipping over Bardou's leg sweep as he flashed to my side before unfurling my wings and rocketing into the air as Saji's vines sprouted from the ground to try and catch me.

[BOOST][BOOST][TRANSFER] I heard the callouts from the Boosted Gear before chuckling as a large purple cube surrounded me in an instant, Touki flooding my body as I pulled my fist back that was swiftly coated in runes before smashing it into the barrier and shattered it completely.

"Nice work, Issei & Kuroka, but don't think that that's enough to catch me now!" I shouted down at the duo, with Kuroka giving me a cute pout before she smirked and I chuckled as Valerie appeared behind me with a teleportation spell, Sephiroth Graal glowing brightly as a cage of light surrounded me before it was reinforced by a series of runic chains created by Meredith that boosted the cage's holy energy.

"Well done! Well done indeed, but!" I grinned as I clapped my hands together before pulling them apart, Kuroka's eyes widening as demonic energy flooded my hands before a barrage of mini Rasengans coated in runic enchantments shot out in all directions and shredded the holy cage surrounding me.

"Y-You thieving bastard!" I chuckled as I heard Kuroka shout, floating down to stand in front of her glaring form as the others landed around us.

"You stole my move!"

"I was the one who made it for you, so technically, you stole my move." She didn't let up on her glare, making me sigh as I heard the group snicker at my dilemma as I wrapped my arm around her.

"Don't worry. Unlike you, those are the biggest ones I can make before the energy overflows and disrupts the attack, which is why I made it just for you. Unlike demonic power, yoki is just stable enough to be used like that yet unstable enough to output tons of power." I explained, making her grumble under her breath as I rolled my eyes.

"Fine, but you owe me."

"Nothing a date can't fix." I said and she just pouted at me as I shook my head.

"Fine, how about I help you create a signature move that can only be used by you? An actual signature move this time."

"…That's a start." She grumbled, making me chuckle at her reluctant acceptance as I gave her a quick kiss on the forehead before turning to the rest of the peerage.

"Now then, take a 10 minute break. Then I want you all to start working on whatever you think needs to be perfected. Also, Saji, Issei, I want you two to head over to the ORC club later in the afternoon and train Asia and Gasper how to bring their Sacred Gears to the next level."

"You mean their Balance Breakers?" Issei asked and I smiled as I nodded, the two Pawns glancing at each other before shrugging and grinning at me.

"Sure thing, Boss."

"Haha, and Meri, I want you two to go with and make sure Issei doesn't try to flirt with Asia, please."

"That would be my pleasure." Issei just gave me a betrayed glare and I smirked in amusement as Saji, Samson & Bardou laughed at him while Kuroka shook her head with a giggle.

"Come now, Isa. Let him flirt with her. You only live once, you know?"

"I'm not flirting with her!" Issei exclaimed before blushing and grumbling under his breath as all of us just gave him a deadpan stare

. "You think we didn't notice how you and Asia were a bit closer after you protected her along the others from being obliterated by the destructo-blade." I said to Issei with a raised eyebrow, opening his mouth to disagree before slowly closing it and deciding to just huff and walk to the side of the training ground to grumble to himself.

"I'll go and help him restore his pride." Saji said with a grin and I chuckled as I nodded, the two pawns walking off to the side as Issei tried to ignore the chuckling Saji next to him.

"Come, Bardou! Let us engage in a joyous bout to sharpen our skills!" Samson exclaimed with a grin as he walked off to the far edge of the training ground, Bardou grinning as he transformed into his lycan form before following after him.

"You don't have to ask me twice."

"…I don't have two battle maniacs in my peerage, right?" I asked the ladies, who all just stared at me.

"No, Isa. You have three. Those two and the one in front of us."

"…Yeah, you're right." I said with a nonchalant shrug, Meredith and Valerie shaking their heads as they walked away while discussing runic schemes & spells, leaving Kuroka still standing in the middle of the field.

"So, what secret technique are we going to create for me?" Kuroka asked with her arms crossed and I grinned as a thought came to mind.

It was from one of the few harem animanga that I read after finishing the entirety of DxD before I stopped watching/ reading harem-based animanga, but the technique I had in mind was something that stuck in my mind since it was so powerful.

"So, the Rasengan was actually an incomplete move."

"I could gather that when I nearly twisted my arm off the first time I used it." She said with a deadpan and I rolled my eyes.

"As I was saying, the Rasengan was an incomplete move and the reason for it being incomplete is because I actually did design it to only be used by you."

"Yeah, you keep saying that, but so far, you've shown to be more proficient with it than I am." She said and I chuckled as I nodded.

"I suppose it's my fault for not clarifying it earlier. The Rasengan was to teach you how to release yoki in a constant stream from your hand and to teach you how to create a grinder at your grasp. Now, the move I had in mind will teach you how to create a literal dimensional sword for you to use at will."

"…What?" She asked in shock and confusion and I chuckled before grinning.

"Release the yoki to your hand in the same way you would a Rasengan, except this time, coat your entire hand in it while using demonic energy to create a barrier that protects your hand and stops it from completely shredding your hand to pieces. Then, I want you to layer a spacial barrier on top of that that's constantly grinding against each other over and over, creating a sort of chainsaw that shreds through space itself."

"You realize how ridiculous you sound right now, right?" She asked and I grinned as I nodded. "

Oh, I do, but dear Kuroka, that's the beauty of it. Once you perfect this move and refine it more and more, no one will be able to steal it. Devil may try to mimic it with demonic energy, but it won't be nearly as powerful without yoki and Youkai may try to copy it, but without access to demonic power, they'll destroy their hands in hope of trying to re-create it. Like I said, the perfect, unique move made just for you." I finished with a wide grin, Kuroka just staring at me deep in thought before she walked away while muttering to herself.

But I knew.

I knew that with me having explained everything to her, she'll go off on her own while also asking Meredith and Valerie for help on how to better mould demonic energy to her bidding.

Now, it's just a time of waiting.

"Oh?" I was taken from my deep thinking as I looked down at my hand, staring in slight surprise at the glowing Azathoth crest on the back of my hand before I frowned. Hisoka knows that he shouldn't bother me on a weekday as we play games every Saturday for hours on end, which means that this might be my second client.

"I'm kind of getting excited." I muttered to myself with a smirk before I turned to the group.

"Hey! I finally got a second contract, so I'm heading out!" I exclaimed before grumbling under my breath as they all ignored me apart from Meredith who at least gave me a thumbs-up before continuing to talk with Kuroka and Valerie.

"At least one of my peerage members cares." I muttered to myself as the Azathoth crest appeared under me before I linked it to the crest on my hand and teleported away.

Unknown Mansion, Kuoh Residential Area:

As I reappeared from the magic crest, I was instantly on guard as I felt a threatening & heavy pressure flowing around the inside of the room I was in. Twin nephalem daggers(which is what I decided to call my fused Holy-Demonic swords) appeared in my grasp as I stomped a series of Lilithian runes onto the ground, a demonic barrier sprouting around me as I looked around for the presence.

"Hey, hey. No need for the hostility. I just wanted a gaming buddy." My eyes widened at the voice behind me before I swiftly twisted on my heels while throwing a barrage of daggers outwards, cursing under my breath as the daggers were all caught and thrown to the side before the person in question walked forward and I just groaned.

"Really? Why can't you guys just leave me alone?" I asked the 12-winged Fallen Angel in front of me, Azazel just grinning back as he shrugged.

"You're the one who keeps showing unprecedented levels of creativity and genius to the supernatural world. Of course everyone's going to constantly keep an eye on you, especially when you re-created a Juggernaut Drive equivalent for a non-Longinus Sacred Gear, learned the most coveted and hardest runic language within less than five years & went from an unknown Low-Class reincarnated Devil to probably one of the most famous/ infamous Ultimate Class Devil in history and you did it all before you even turned 18/"

"…This is why I told myself not to go overboard, but no~I just had to be the prideful idiot I am." I grumbled to myself as I dismissed the runes and the daggers in my grasp, noticing Azazel glancing at the daggers before back at me.

"What? You want one?"

"A sword, if you can." He said with a cheeky grin and I rolled my eyes with a smirk as a nephalem sword appeared in my grasp before I tossed it at him, Azazel scrambling to catch him before glaring at me.

"You know a little warning would be nice!"

"I made the edge dull and we both know even if I didn't, the blade's not nearly powerful enough to cut your skin." I said with an eyeroll, Azazel grumbling to himself before grinning excitedly as he went to examining the sword.

"Incredible. To think that someone would find a way to balance the calmness & pureness of holy energy with the chaotic & corrosiveness of demonic energy. You truly deserve your title of 'House Gremory's Prodigy', indeed."

"It wasn't that hard to create them if I'm being honest and to be truthful, it surprised me at how easy it was to fuse the two energies together and create the nephalem blades."

"Nephalem blades? That's the term you humans like to use when referring to the child of an angel and a demon in fiction, correct?"

"Yep, thought the name would fit." I said with a shrug, Azazel chuckling before he held the hilt towards me.

"Nah, keep it. It won't be of much use to me anyway and this should help you in studying the reason why the holy energy and demonic energy are so perfectly in sync with each other."

"…You do know this is the equivalent of revealing the blue prints of your trump card to the enemy, right?"

"Meh, that blade is structured just strong enough to be classified as a nephalem blade yet just weak that you can't figure anything out from it apart from the connection between demonic and holy energy. Not to mention the fact that the Lilithian runes on it would make the blade explode with enough force to level a city block if you even try to dissect it more than needed."

"Not Gremorian runes?" He asked with a grin while putting the blade in a pocket dimension and I just smirked amusedly.

"Of course not. It would be idiotic to use Gremorian runes in front of you when I don't possess the means to hide the exact runic pattern from your eyes. That and Lord Sirzechs told me that you have intelligence that is nearly on par with that of Lord Ajuka, but with far more experience and a lot more craziness."

"Stupid redhead prick." Azazel grumbled under his breath and I chuckled before looking around in curiosity at the gaming room we were in.

"So, can we get to the actual reason why you summoned me?" I asked and Azazel shrugged while holding two controllers up.

"Like I said, I want nothing more than a gaming buddy. There's a big event going to happen in this town, but it's boring having to wait for everyone, so I needed something to keep me busy with and I've already explored every inch of this town."

"Including those strip clubs you're infamously known for?" I asked with a teasing grin, catching the controller tossed at me as the Governor grumbled under his breath.

"Just play the game, dumb brat."

"Sure thing, you dusty old crow." I fired back as we both sat down in two chairs before I grinned at the sight of a racing game loading up on the large monitor in front of us.

Oh, he's getting cooked.

A few hours later:

"…How the fuck are you this good at every game?" He asked with a glare and I chuckled as I put the controller down with a shrug, standing up and groaning in relief as my leg muscles were finally able to move.

"I told you when we started playing that I am a master of gaming."

"Yeah, yeah. So, how much do I owe you for you kicking my ass all afternoon? Take whatever you want. That painting over there is worth about $1,540,000 or maybe you would like that vase? It only cost me about $3,700,000. No, I think money would work better, so how much?" He asked as he pulled out a wallet and I was about to answer before an idea came to mind.

"Actually I have something else in mind. Can you get someone to meet me at the shrine on the outskirts of town?" He frowned in confusion before his eyes widened slightly and narrowed.

"You sure about this? Last I heard she doesn't like my kind."

"Don't worry. I've managed to get rid of most of that. There is still a little bit left, but I feel like as her boyfriend, she has to go through this if she wants to move on."

"Even if it means her being upset with you for the next century?"

"Even if it means that." I said with a smile, Azazel giving me a neutral stare before a smile appeared on his face as he nodded.

"You're a good kid. I'll tell him to head there later tonight. That should give you enough time to help get her ready."

"Thanks." I said with a smile and Azazel just shook his head.

"No, thank you. It's not everyday someone tries to actually help my dysfunctional family." He said with a grin and a nod, making me chuckle as I nodded before the Azathoth crest appeared under me and I teleported away to my next location. Here's to hoping she doesn't kill me.

Another few hours later:

Kuoh Sacred Shrine, Kuoh Town:

"Isa, why are we at my shrine at night? I thought we were going out for a movie?" Akeno asked with a confused frown, dressed in a pair of jeans and a simple lilac shirt that was covered by a purple hoodie and I smiled as we stopped at the top of the stairs.

"Listen, I may have done something that is going to piss you off heavily, but please, remember that I did it purely because I love you." She frowned in confusion and wariness at my words before her eyes widened as a holy presence appeared from thin air inside the shrine, Akeno staring in shock at the figure walking out of the shrine before glaring at me.

I may have fucked up here.

"You fucking didn't!" She hissed and I winced slightly as I heard the venom in her tone.

Oh, yeah, I most definitely fucked up here.

"So, I have you to thank for giving me this opportunity to speak with my daughter." Baraqiel asked in a gruff tone and with a stern face, making me smile as I nodded.

"Yes, sir. It is a pleasure to finally meet you." I introduced myself and Baraqiel just stared me for a long while, analysing me from head to toe before he nodded.

"Good-mannered & well spoken, I see. Good to meet you as well." He said with a short nod before glancing at Akeno, his expression softening as he sighed.

"Akeno, good to see you as well."

"I'm leaving." She huffed as she turned and walked away before yelping as she walked directly into a wall of runes.

"I've sealed off the shrine from the outside world. Right now, neither of you can leave until you forgive each other, so make yourself comfy and start apologizing."

"Me?! Apologize?! For what?!" She exclaimed as she spun on her heel and stomped towards me, a genuine rage-filled glare on her face as she stared at me and I just smiled as I wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes.

"For not being there with your father when he lost both you and your mother." I said softly and she kept glaring at me before she turned that glare on the surprised Baraqiel.

"And you have to apologize for leaving your wife and daughter all by themselves when you knew how her clan was going to react to her having a child with 'an unholy being' as they like to call all supernatural things not Japanese." He looked surprised at the serious look in my eyes as well as my frown before glancing at the glaring Akeno and sighed.

"Akeno, I…I would like to apologize. Not just for leaving you and your mother without any sort of protection, but also for not being there when you and your mother needed me the most. As a husband and a father, I had one duty to you both and I failed to do it. That single mistake haunted me every day ever since I lost you and all I want now is to see that my darling little daughter is safe and sound, whether she hates me or not. You don't have to forgive me now, or ever for that matter, but you are all that I have left of your mother and know that no matter what happens, I swear that I will make sure you live a long, prosperous and joyous life just like she would have wanted you too." He declared with a smile, nodding at her before a teleportation crest appeared under him.

"Wait!" She exclaimed, making me smirk subtly as Baraqiel looked surprised at her while stopping his teleportation. She glanced at me and I gave her an encouraging smile as I nodded, making her sigh as she turned back to him.

"I can't forgive. Not now at least, but I am willing to mend our relationship. Y-You…you can come see me in secret, but it will only be for an hour or so and I want Isa here." He looked surprised and happy at her words as he glanced at me and I shrugged with a smile.

"If it's alright with you, sir."

"It's…it's more than all right with me. T-Thank you. I'll do everything to make sure that you won't regret this." She just gave a slight smile at that before he turned to me.

"This may be rushed, but do I have your word that you will be a good person to her?"

"No, I won't." I said with a shrug, surprising both of them before I continued as Baraqiel frowned.

"Being a good person means that there might come a time that I have to sacrifice her to save the world. No, if it comes to that, I would gladly burn the world down and piss on its ashes before going to sleep like a baby if it means that she's alive and sleeping peacefully right by my side." I declared with a sadistic grin, Akeno's face a bright red as Baraqiel stared at me for a while before smiling.

"Azazel was right. You are one crazy boy." I just shrugged at that and he chuckled as he gave us a final smile before the crest reappeared under him and he disappeared, leaving Akeno and I standing alone in front of the shrine.

"Destroy the world for me, huh?" She asked with a teasing grin and I just raised an eyebrow.

"We both know I'd massacre an entire orphanage if it meant you'd be safe." She just smiled happily as she nodded, wrapping her arms around my own.

"…You owe me a lifetime supply of strawberry mochi balls for that."

"Extra stuffed?" I asked and she nodded, making me chuckle as I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and kissed the top of her head.

"Anything for my Queen."

"That's what I like to hear. So, how exactly did you manage to get in contact with him?" She asked me and I shrugged.

"I did a contract for Azazel and he asked me for payment, so I decided on asking him to bring Baraqiel here."

"You did what?!" She exclaimed in shock and I chuckled as I pulled away from her and started my trek down the mountain, Akeno quickly following after me and firing question after question of wanting to find out how I know Azazel.
