"Is the party really necessary? Didn't we have one just two days ago before we took out the other packs?" I groaned as I sat next to Makarov, who cackled as he took a deep gulp from his pitcher of ale.

"Of course, Isaiah! Today is the day of victory of our long feud against our enemies and the day that all of the packs have been united into one! Besides, I thought you were a devil!" Makarov exclaimed with a wide grin before he turned back to the celebratories, to which I sighed as I turned to an amused & exasperated Amelia.

"A regular occurrence during 'victory parties?" I asked, chuckling as she nodded.

"Most of the time, he's tame, but I suppose I'll let him have his fun for tonight. He's been stressed ever since the war started, so our victory was a huge weight off of his shoulders." Amelia said as she looked at Makarov and I barely caught the amused smirk on her face as she watched him dance with the children before it went back to her usual soft smile as she turned to me.

"And what about you? Are devils not beings that like parties?"

"Unfortunately, I'm not like most devils. A party now & then is cool, but I'm not one that likes to party every few days for fun. Besides, I'm still stressing about the meeting you guys have with the other pack leaders."

"Ah, right. As a descendant of Lycaon, your vote is worth a lot to decide who the new alpha is going to be." She said and I sighed as I nodded, turning back to the groups partying, though I didn't miss how most of those partying were children while the women & a scarce few men who were all elderly were sitting on the sidelines.

I have to say that werewolves are far more savage than I expected.

As soon as word spread of Makarov, Nikolaj & Natalia killing the other alphas, their packs gathered into one fighting force before descending upon the other packs like a pack of starving hyenas.

Those that surrendered, which were all non-combatants such as the women, children & the elderly, were peacefully escorted to the Silverfang's territory.

The others that didn't, which were the hunters, the scouts & the betas, were ripped to shreds, with the territories destroyed to near nothing and their heads put on spikes all around the destroyed territories as a warning.

'If I didn't know any better, I would have thought that I was in medieval times. Then again, I'm going to help pick a ruler, so I suppose that analogy isn't too far off.' Since I was the one who took out Shalba, Marius & their armies along with being a descendant of Lycaon meant that I had a huge vote in determining who the new leader of the Lunarian wolf pack was supposed to be.

Basically, I had to choose who was going to be the new leader of the pack as they were going to be my new partner for the alliance and the person who was going to make me an honorary member of the pack.

'Realistically, there's only one answer that I'm going to give and everyone knows what it is. This is just customary.' I thought with an amused smirk as I looked at Makarov, chuckling as I saw the man jump & leap with the children dancing while also talking with those from the packs that were defeated.

Taking note of how the people were opening up to him & how a few were even chuckling & laughing with him, I smirked as I turned to Amelia with a shrug, making her giggle as she nodded.

Yep, my decision was already made.

"As of today, you're my number one enemy." Loup growled at me with a glare, to which I just grinned unashamedly as Makarov & Amelia shared amused smiles.

"Hey, you're the one closest in age to me while you're also the one I'm closest to in the pack apart from your parents."

"That does makes sense." Makarov hummed with a nod, to which Loup just rolled his eyes before frowning as he adjusted the black fur cloak draped over his shoulders while staring at his brand new crescent-moon tattoo on his right pectoral, the exact same one that Makarov had in the middle of his chest.

"You know what? Yeah, this is perfect. I've been looking for a reason to accelerate your training as the new chief and this just gave me the reason I needed." Makarov spoke with a firm nod, Loup just sighing before looking at Amelia as she smiled & placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Do not worry for your young age. That's why you have Natalia, Nikolaj, your father and I to help you with advice." Loup just gave a soft smile as she nodded before turning back to me.

"…I'm still punching you the next time we meet."

"Oh, I expect that. Besides, brothers like to fight, don't they?" I said with a grin as I pointed at the crescent moon tattoo on my left pectoral, to which he just rolled his eyes though I didn't miss the small smirk on his face.

"Well, I'm going to have to go as I'm sure my people are wondering where I am." I said as I pulsed my demonic power, the family of three nodding as the Azathoth crest appeared under my feet.

"Ms. Amelia, make sure to take care of these two so that they can't do anything outlandish."

"That will be hard, but I think I can manage." Amelia said with a smile, to which the father & son grumbled and the last thing I saw was Loup giving me a smile & a nod before my vision was tinged blue as I felt my body being whisked away.

Appearing in the middle of my room, I frowned as I realized that there was no one inside before I blinked as I felt a presence coming closer, turning to the door just as it opened.

"Ah! Isaiah, long time no see!" Evelyn spoke with a smile and I grinned as I walked closer, with her giggling as I wrapped her in a tight hug.

"I haven't seen you in ages, although I suppose that's to do with me not taking the time to come find you. Where have you been? What have you been up to?"

"Oh, here and there. My work as the head maid of the Gremory Clan & Lady Gremory's right hand woman has been keeping me busy, but I suppose Okita & his weird dates are helping."

"…Say what now?" I'm pretty sure my brain short-circuited as I pulled back from the hug with a furrowed brow, my eyes widening as I saw the smile on her face.

"He's doing this thing where he's keeping everything secret, isn't he?" She asked, to which I nodded slowly before shaking my head as the shock disappeared.

"When did this happen?…And why doesn't anyone tell me anything?"

"For the latter, you're never here for anyone to tell you. As for the former, it happened about two years after you left for your training trip and MacGregor & Okita returned back to the Underworld. I don't know why, but I have been attracted to him for a while. So, I took a chance, asked him out and now…here we are."

"…Now, I'm going to be harassing him as much as I can." I spoke with a mischievous grin spreading across my face before I yelped as a hand smacked the back of my head, grumbling as Evelina frowned at me.

"Fine. I won't bother him…much."

"Hah, I suppose that's the best I can ask for." She muttered, to which I grinned before I frowned as I spread out my senses & noticed how empty it was apart from the maids, butlers, gardeners & workers.

"So, where's everyone?" I asked and she giggled as she lifted her hand, with me raising an eyebrow as a bubble appeared above her hand before I saw an image of that one knight of Seekvaira fighting against both Koneko & Gasper.

"The Rating Game of Seekvaira against Rias is currently taking place in Lilith and everyone is there to watch it."

"Huh…wanna go surprise them?" I asked, smirking as a small smirk appeared on Evelina's face before she nodded.

'Freeze.' Gasper chanted in his mind as he activated his Sacred Gear, Bafeel frowning as her legs were frozen in place before demonic power flowed into her blade as she held it above her head just in time to block a senjutsu-enhanced axe-kick from Koneko.

Bafeel grunted as the kick forced her deeper into the ground before she growled as she pushed Koneko away, leaping away just as a barrage of ice spears stabbed into her previous position as she flipped through the air before rocketing towards Gasper.

Just as she neared him, her eyes widened as Gasper exploded in a mass of shadow-like bats & wolves, the shadow familiars skittering away just as Koneko rushed towards the shocked Knight with white flames coating her fists & legs.

Spinning through the air, Koneko's leg lashed out in a spinning kick just as Bafeel spun around & blocked her kick with gritted teeth, the force of the kick sending Bafeel skidding across the ground before she gritted her teeth as her legs were frozen in time while the rest of her body kept going back.

Bafeel stifled her pained scream as she felt the joints in her knees screaming in protest at the force before gritting her teeth as she forced herself upright.

However, that was her undoing as Gasper leapt from her shadow, looking down before her head snapped back as a fist smashed into her jaw & sent her flipping through the air.

Rolling across the ground, Bafeel blinked a few times to fix her vision before she sighed in defeat as she felt her body locked up in time, a blade of white flames held against her throat as Koneko knelt right next to her.

"And just like that, Koneko & Gasper under the service of Lady Rias Gremory has defeated her opponent!" The crowd cheered as Koneko sighed, standing up & dismissing the flames before holding a hand out to Bafeel, who sighed as she took the hand & had Koneko help her up.

"Whew! Man, you're tough to fight. It was like fighting Isa." Gasper said with a groan as he stretched his body, Koneko nodding as she rolled her shoulders while Bafeel frowned as the three made their way to the exit of the arena.

"Azathoth fights like I do?"

"No, you're more of a power fighter that uses speed to block, parry and/ or counter-attack their opponent's moves. Isa on the other hand just uses pure speed & power to attack someone relentlessly until they either surrender or gets beaten up." Gasper explained with a shrug, Bafeel frowning in thought as Koneko sighed before they walked through the exit.

"Well done, you two." Rias said with a grin as Koneko & Gasper appeared in a blue flash in their booth, the duo nodding with Gasper grinning as Akeno giggled.

"She was kinda strong. I can see why Akeno almost lost to her." Gasper said and Akeno frowned before she huffed.

"Yeah, back then. Now, I can take her with ease."

"Sure, but that's not the problem. Get ready. You're up." Akeno sighed as she saw Alivian standing up, noting how the young man was now walking with a cane towards the entrance gate before she sighed as she walked towards their entrance.

"Here we are for the second match of the day! Now, the Queens are going to battle to win for their masters! For Rias Gremory, her Queen and the second strongest of her peerage has decided to fight as Akeno Himejima walks onto the field! Give it up for the Fallen Devil!" The crowd cheered as Akeno appeared on one side of destroyed ruins, the girl giggling before turning to the other side as a blue flash appeared on the field.

"And her opponent is someone we all know! He may have been severely injured all those months ago by the deceased Lord Fleurety, but now he has returned to show that he was down but not out! Put your hands together for the Black Dragon of House Agares…Alivian!" The crowd roared as Alivian walked onto the field with his cane, Akeno smiling as she nodded at the man who nodded back with a small smile.

"No bad feelings afterwards, okay?" Alivian said with a chuckle as his cane disappeared in a flash, Akeno giggling as sparks of blue flowed around her body.

"Of course not. I just hope that you don't regret if I injure you a bit more than necessary."

"Haha! Of course!" Alivian agreed with a smile just as Reval spoke up.

"Then, let us not waste any more time! Three…two…one…let the battle begin!"

"Oi, Akeno!" Both fighters stumbled as they decided to rush forward, looking up before Alivian sighed & Akeno's eyes widened at the sight of a projection of Isaiah grinning down at her.

"Isa?" She muttered and Isaiah chuckled as he nodded.

"Yep! Just got back from the contract and good news! House Gremory now has an alliance contract with the newfound Lunarian werewolf pack! Oh! Also, if you win, we'll do dirty student & laid-back master tonight!"

"Really?" This time, her eyes widened in excitement and Isaiah smirked as he nodded before his image disappeared, a happy smile appearing on Akeno's face as she turned to Alivian, who saw the sadism dancing in her eyes before he sighed.

"Go easy?"

"Oh no. I'm going to get that role-play session no matter what."

"Did you have to go so hard?" Alivian groaned and Akeno gave a sheepish giggle as Rias just rolled her eyes.

"Believe me when I say she went easy on you."

"I got a fully powered Holy Lightning bolt fired at me." Alivian spoke with a deadpan and Rias giggled as Gasper spoke up.

"At least it wasn't a full on storm thrown at your face while you're being bombarded by a few dozen other bolts." Alivian blinked at that as both he, Seekvaira & Bafeel turned to Rias, who sighed as she nodded in confirmation.

"In my defence, Isa trains like that so I thought you guys would like it." Akeno spoke with a frown.

"We're not Isa. He's a literal monster in devil skin."

"And proud of it." Isaiah said with a grin as he walked into the medical room, giving Akeno a quick kiss while Tsubaki rolled her eyes with an amused smile as she, Kuroka and Sona walked into the room.

"Only you would like being called a monster." Alivian spoke with a smirk and Isaiah smirked back as he shrugged, walking towards his friend before sharing a fist bump as he turned to Rias.

"You know Mother's mad at you, right?" She said with a smirk, giggling as Isaiah groaned.

"I was going to come in quietly. Lord Gremory was the one who told me to do all of that." He grumbled and the heiress shrugged before Isaiah smirked as he saw her glance at Alivian who was talking to Bafeel.

"You do know that he won't say no, right? Everyone knows you two like each other." He whispered to her as he walked over, Koneko smirking as the redhead blushed before pouting with a huff.

"Just saying. One kiss and he'll be eating out of the palm of your hand."

"Quiet!" She hissed softly before giving an innocent smile as Alivian turned to them with a blink along with Bafeel, both Pieces going back to their discussion as their King gave the blushing Rias an amused smile.

"Well, well. It's good to see that there are no hard feelings after your battle." Sirzechs spoke with a grin as he walked into the room, Grayfia & Okita trailing after her.

"By the way, good work on securing that alliance, Isaiah. You will not believe how many alliance proposals both Father & Mother have gotten from various Pillar families."

"No problem. Also, I found out about you and Evelina." Isaiah said to Okita with a smug grin only to blink as the swordsman just shrugged.

"And? Everyone apart from you knew. It was kind of a prank on you to see how long it would take you to figure it out."

"…Everyone?" He asked as he turned to the others, Sona smirking as both she & a giggling Tsubaki nodded while Alivian looked at the wall as Seekvaira giggled.

"…I hate all of you. You know what? I'm going to make a big secret and only I'll know about it."

"Knowing you, you're going to feel like you need to tell one person as soon as it happens." Okita countered with a smirk, chuckling as Isaiah just grumbled before Sirzechs cleared his throat & brought the attention back to him.

"Ahem! Well, while it's good to see everyone having fun, I'm unfortunately going to have to borrow Isaiah from you guys."

"I just got back." Isaiah groaned as he followed after the chuckling Sirzechs, Grayfia rolling her eyes as she & Okita followed the duo out of the room.

"…Anyone get the feeling that Isaiah went from a normal guy our age to one of the most powerful men in the Underworld, both in personal & political power, within less than a tenth of the time that it would take the average devil?" Alivian asked and the entire room sighed as they all nodded.

"Good. Just checking."

"So, what's up? Ow!"

"Manners." Grayfia chastised and I grumbled before quickly quieting down as the woman glared at me.

"I mean, what did you request me for?"

"Now, now, Fia. Let Isaiah speak as he please. He's practically family by now." Sirzechs said with a chuckle, to which the maid just sighed as Okita & I snickered before I sobered up as we walked through a door.

Noting the fact that Surtr & Beowulf were waiting in a line for us, I nodded at them as I stopped next to them along with Okita while Sirzechs & Grayfia walked around his desk, Sirzechs sitting down in his throne with a sigh before he smiled at us.

"Okay, this is something that has been in the making for the past year and only myself, Grayfia & the other faction leaders know of. Now, you all will too. The Nordic Pantheon & the Greek Pantheon have decided to make a peace treaty with us."

"As in Zeus, Odin, Poseidon, Thor? Those Nordic & Greek Pantheons?" I asked with a frown, humming as Sirzechs smiled & nodded.

"Yes, those pantheons indeed. As we speak, Frigg, Odin, Thor, Zeus, Hera and Poseidon have met up at Netherworld & are waiting for an armed escort back here."

"Will Hades let us through?" Okita asked before the four of us frowned as the Satan Lucifer sighed.

"Zeus had spoken to him and he has agreed to let us pass in exchange…for letting him have the opportunity of watching Isaiah fight against one of his Grim Reapers."

"Which one?"

"Pluto." Sirzechs answered and I blinked as the group groaned and even Grayfia looked a bit miffed.

"…Isn't that like the most dangerous & most religious of his commanders?" I spoke before groaning as Sirzechs gave a sheepish smile.

"This is an assassination attempt, isn't it?"

"Most definitely. While they won't kill you, they'll most definitely bring you as close to death as they possibly can and let nature take its course."

"Hah, then it's a good thing that I have a nekoshou sister duo that can restore my life force. Wait, why am I even here? This mission is far too high-level for me."

"…Really?" Sirzechs asked with a deadpan which everyone mirrored as I grumbled.

"Fine, it was a good attempt to be lazy. So, I'm guessing Zeus, Odin & the other gods want to meet me as well, right?" I asked and sighed as he nodded.

"Look at it this way, young Isaiah! You get to beat the shit out of a Grim Reaper with no repercussions!" Surtr spoke with an excited grin, to which I just chuckled as Grayfia frowned at his crass language.

"Hey, that's true. Okay, then! I agree to do this mission, so let's get it underway."
