Like it or not, the comments Alexei overhears leave him questioning if he's good enough to be with Kent Parson. Luckily, he's not allowed to wallow for long. (Almost) all characters belong to Ngozi Ukazu's Check, Please! world.

Holster and Ransom have a vision. Whiskey just wants to get away. Dex somehow gets pulled in.

Jack was trying to give him an update. Apparently the doctor had just been in, and Kent tried to listen: "It was a hard hit to the head. He's still unconscious." OR: Tater takes a hard hit to the head and forgets that he's in love with Kent Parson.

Ollie's night gets a whole lot better. Takes place after 'Dex's Favourite Show'.

No Graduation Kiss happened. Instead, in the middle of his rookie season, Jack Zimmermann decides that - this closet thing? Not really working out - and comes out. The media, of course, refuses to accept that he came out for its own sake, and wants to know which of the fellas (and one gal) he's been seen with is his secret partner. Everyone but Bitty and Jack find this hilarious.

Kent is a little more impatient waiting for Jack, and stops him from overdosing. Jack goes first to a much more welcoming than canon Las Vegas, Kent goes second to a much worse off Providence. No one is at Samwell to help Bitty. Things work out anyway. Fair warning, more of a long drabble than a proper story. There's like 10 lines of dialog, if that.

Jack really likes the Mountain Goats' music. A brief study in his relationship with a few of their songs, from juniors through his first year at Samwell.

On the day of Bitty's first Massachusetts snowfall, he accidentally outs himself as trans to several of his teammates. (TW for discussion of a past eating disorder, a panic attack, and for well-meaning bros asking some invasive questions and using some bad terminology re: transness.)
