I was Ryu Tenma the oldest of the Tenma Triplets, as I was the first one that came out of our absentee Mother.

A card that should really not exist, but I had it, and to make it worse, it really fit with my Deck because of its nature as a Level 12 Synchro Monster, as the deck I had was Centur-Ion, a synchro deck focused on cute girls doing Gurren Lagann references, and it was a rather simple deck too as it had very short turns despite from my perspective a modern Yu-gi-oh, deck, but here… well the deck had been created by our father Gekko Tenma, one of the adopted children of the now deceased Maximillion J. Pegasus, and still worked at Industrial Illusion as its CEO which was why he and our mother were really never home.
Still cared(Wouldn't have made my cards if he did not), but it did not feel like a relationship between parent and child, with me having gotten it when I had turned ten last year.
However, I did wonder about my possession of Crimson Dragon, which had been gifted to me by Sela, our Nana having found it just lying on the street, according to her.
And if that wasn't some form of divine intervention on the part of the god, was what had led to Father making Centur-Ion in this universe? If so, then yeah, divine intervention on the god's part me to make me a strong Signer.
But if that was the case, I couldn't help but be thankful.

"Ryu," Luna addressed me as we all sat outside in swimwear near the pool, as it was the start of summer, and the weather was nice, so we might as well use it.

"Are you two gonna duel?" Leo asked. "Sela, can I get a soda to drink while I watch?"
"That you can," Sela responded as she retrieved drinks from the cooler while Luna and I went and got our Duel Disks and quickly set up.
"Duel," We said as our Duel Disks turned on and the life point total was displayed.

"I am calling heads," I said as we called which side the coin would land to determine who went first.
"I take tails then," Luna responded as the holographic coin was flipped, which, of course, depicted a Blue-Eyes as heads and the staff of Dark Magician as tails.
And it landed on the staff.
"I shall be going first then, Ryo," Luna said as we drew our cards, with Luna drawing a sixth as we played with a variant of Mater Rule 1 in this world, even if the game here was older than back in my reality, as here over 30 years of duel monsters have happened, but there was still only Fusion and Synchro Monsters in the Extra Deck, but also meant the game had evolved in weird ways even if the release of cards were weird.
Such as, I getting Centur-Ion, but I had seen one duelist play Punk.
But back to the duel, I had drawn Bonfire, had to get this card myself, plus the Effect Veilers in my deck. One of which I had drawn Centu-Ion Bonds, Centur-Ion Primera, and Centur-Ion Chimerea
"I shall start by Normal Summoning Naturia Camellia(1400/700). Okay, that was familiar, and I was not gonna let that happen.
"In response, I activate Effect Veiler's quick effect, discarding him to negate your effect," I said as I countered her play.
"Hmm, I am starting to dislike him," Luna grumbled. "But let me show you some of the new cards I got, I discard Vernusylph of the Flourishing Hills, and another card to add another Vernusylph card to my hand."
"Okay, that is new," I said as she did not have Vernusylph in her deck before. And was it me, or did it look a little bigger than usual?
"And that is not all, then I can Special Summon an Earth Monster from my Graveyard, and I pick Flourishing Hills(200/2000)," Luna said as the cute Fairy girl was summoned in defense position. "Next, I will do the same with Vernusylph of the Misting Seedlings, discarding him and another to get an Earth Fairy from Deck."
"And you get to Special Summon from Grave again?" I asked.
"Yep, and I will bring back Naturia Vein(200/300)." A cute little lead had appeared on her field, joining the flower and the fairy girl; the Vernusylphs really fit Luna even if it had a little Anti-Synergy with her beasts, but this was Yu-Gi-Oh, the heart of the cards and all that. "But he won't stay as I will be tuning my Level 4 Vernusylph of the Flourishing Hills with my Level 1 Naturia Vein. The power of nature gathers manifest to call forth nature's strongest beast! Synchro Summon! Level 5! Naturia Beast(2200/1700)."
"It's the cat; get him, Ryo," Leo shouted as this damn cat was the bane of both of our decks.
"Don't be mean, Leo," Luna said. "And I end my turn."
"I draw." And there was my Field Spell, though due to rules, there could only be one on the field at a time. "First, I will Normal Summon, Centur-Ion Chimerea(1200/1600)."
"And in response, I will chain Naturia Camellia's effect; when you summon a monster, I can revive a Naturia Monster from my Graveyard once per turn," Luna said. "And I get Naturia Vein back in Defense Position."
"That is fine, I activate the Field Spell, Stand Up Centur-Ion," I said, and I knew what would happen now.
"And I activate Naturia Beast's effect to mill two to negate and destroy your card!"
"I chain Centur-Ion Bonds to place the Centur-Ion Primera in my hand in my Spell and Trap Zone."
"I will just use Naturia Beast again, Ryo." Why the fuck wasn't there a once-per-turn on these cards?
"Then I chain Chimerea's effect to change it to set a Centur-Ion Monster on the field or in the Graveyard as a Continuous Spell."
And with that, the chain started resolving backward, resulting in my Stand Up, being destroyed before it could be fully activated and be indestructible.
"And on the new chain, I will Special Summon Centur-Ion Primera(1600/1600) from my Spell and Trap Zone, which allows me to add a Centur-Ion card to my hand," I said as I went and Centur-Ion Gargoyle. "Next, I will be Special Summoning Centur-Ion Gargoyle II(2000/3000) by sending Chimerea to the graveyard."
"Yeah, can't do anything about that," Luna said with confidence, which really was a difference from canon as she stared at the Mecha Dragon that hovered on the field.
"Battle Phase, Primera, take out that Camellia," I said as I debated between it and Vein but settled on the flower being the biggest worry at the moment, resulting in the first bit of damage.

"Next up, Gargoyle II, take out the cat," I said as Naturia Beast was torn apart by claws. "Next I will be tuning my Level 8 Centur-Ion Gargoyle II with my Level 4 Centur-Ion Primera, enter the mech to evolve it to another level. Synchro Summon! Level 12! Centur-Ion Legatia(3500/2000)!"
And with that, a massive white Mecha descended onto the field, it towering over our mansion.
"Ah, it's so cool," Leo commented; the girl rather liked the Machine Synchro, which made sense considering her own Deck.
"I will be chaining the effect of Gargoyle and Centur-Ion Bonds in my Graveyard, by Banishing it I can set Primera as a face-up continuous trap once more. And adding Gargoyle II back to my hand if it is used as Synchro Material." I said.
"And to that, I chain my Naturia Mole Cricket(0/0) in my Graveyard, because you Special Summoned from the Extra Deck Monster, I can Special Summon him," Luna added, and it seemed that he had gotten milled by Beast.
Annoying.
And once again, the chain resolved.
"And on a new chain, since Legatia was Special Summoned, I can draw a card, and if I do, the strongest monster you control is destroyed. So there goes Naturia Vein." I stated.
"Hmm," Luna grumbled again.
"I set a card face down and end my turn," I said.
"And during the end of your Main Phase 2, I will use Naturia Mole Cricket's effect to tribute itself to Special Summon two Naturia Monsters because you control the monsters with the highest attack points. And shall be another Camellia and Naturia Sunflower(500/0), and since Naturia Camellia was special Summoned, I can send a Naturia Monster to the Graveyard." Luna said, and I knew what that would be. "Sending Naturia Sacred Tree to which, when sent, adds a Naturia Card to my hand."
"You've gotten really competent, Luna," I complimented. "Thanks, Ryu, I've been working really hard to impress you."
Luna, you did not need to impress me. "But to enter the End Phase properly this time means I get to use Centur-Ion Legatia effect to place a non-synchro-"
"I chain Naturia Sunflower to negate and destroy by tributing it, but Camellia's effect prevents it from being so by milling two cards," Luna responded, but my Legatia stayed thanks to Primera's effect preventing her from being destroyed. "I will draw, and why does she have to be so thick?" Luna complained at my monster's attack stat.
"Well, like you, she drinks her milk," I replied, which made Luna blush.
"Ryo, well, I tune my Level 2 Sunflower with my Level 4 Camellia to call forth the forest guardian dragon. Synchro Summon! Level 6! Naturia Barkion(2500/1800)." Luna said. "Next, I will activate the Quick-Play Spell Card – Naturia Blessing to bring back Naturia Beast."
I chose not to activate my things due to Barkion as it countered my traps, Luna went off using Mole Cricket's effect to get a third Camellia and Naturia Horneedle(1800/100), and with Camellia she sent another Sacred Tree to get a second Blessing.
"Next, I will activate Naturia Blessing once more, this time to bring together Barkion and Beast to call forth their perfect form, I Fusion Summon! Level 10! Naturia Exterio(2800/2400)!"
And on the field arrived a green tiger wearing the scales of a dragon as armor.
"Good work, Luna, but your monster isn't strong enough to beat my Legatia," I said.
"I won't have to beat it over Ryo to win because now I will Tribute my Camellia and Horneedle to Advance Summon my Vera, the Vernusylph Goddess(2400/3000)!" Luna announced, and I was wondering what she was getting at she was strong but nowhere near enough, as the goddess arrived on the field, dressed in a simple sun dress. "I will then activate Vera's effect to take control of your Legatia."
"Heh?"
"Heh?"
"Heh?" Three voices sounded as vines crept around Legatia that came from Vera, the goddess pulling the mech over to Luna's field, and I could do nothing because of Exterio… I really couldn't respond, as the Phalanx I had drawn thanks to Legatia would just be negated.
"Battle Phase!"
"Primera effect, during any Main Phase, I can Special Summon her in defense, and then I get to add a Centur-Ion to my hand," As thankfully, Primera was still a Monster even when she was a trap card, so Exterio couldn't negate and it prevented the OTK that was about to arrive. So I went and added Trudea to my hand.
"I shall continue; Vera's take out the pilot; Naturia Exterio and Legatia will attack you directly," Luna declared, and I got hammered by the tiger and my own monster, bringing my life points to a low point.

"I will end my turn."
"And Legatia will go back to my field?"
Luna smiled.
"And Legatia will go back to my field, right?" I asked, and I got my answer as that did not happen… oh, oh.
"I draw…" And I got another Phalanx. "Well, I am gonna have to take out that Exterio. I am gonna Normal Summon Centur-Ion Trudea(1000/2000), Iææ activate the effect of Centur-Ion Trudea to set her and another Centur-Ion from Deck as continuous traps."
"I will chain Vera's third effect to Special Summon an Earth Monster in my Graveyard. Come back, Naturia Barkion," Luna said as I set Centur-Ion Atrii(1800/1400), who I then summoned along with Gargoyle II by sending Trudea.
"Now I will be tuning my Level 8 Centur-Ion Gargoyle II with my Level 4 Centur-Ion Atrii to call forth another Mech, the piercing hope of the universe! Synchro Summon! Centur-Ion Auxila(3000/300)!" And on the field, what looked like an upgraded form of Gargoyle II landed, though the shape was a lot more female than before. "And then she is Special Summoned. I can add a Centur-Ion card to my hand from my deck, and once again, Gargoyle II goes back to my hand."
And I went and grabbed Centur-Ion True Awakening. I thought for a second to attack either Barkion or Exterio, but the true threat here was Vera, or else she would just bring them back during my turn.
"So cool," This time, it was Luna's turn to be amazed by one of my monsters, as she liked dragons. "I will set one card and go to Battle Phase. Centur-Ion Auxila attack Vera, the Venusylph Goddess."
Energy beams were fired, and the goddess was removed.
Ryu LP: 1700/ Luna LP: 7200
"And with that, I end my turn," I said. "And during my end phase, I can set a Centurion in the graveyard as a continuous Spell, thanks to Auxila." And with that, Primera returned.
"I draw," Luna said. "I activate Vernusylph of the Awakening Forest's effect, discarding it and another to send an Earth Monster to the grave, then Special Summoning one, and I choose Vera. Who will then take control of your Auxila."
Ah dammit.
"I activate the Counter-Trap – Centur-Ion True Awakening to negate by sending Primera to the grave," I replied, and since it was at speed three, neither Barkion nor Exterio could respond.
"I put Barkion to attack and then go to battle," Luna said. "Mecha on mecha violence.
"Ahh, Trap Card, activate Centur-Ion Phalanx."
"Negate," Luna said as she had Naturia Exterio banish and mill to negate the Trap. "Exterio, take down Ryo."
"Yarghh!" I shouted as the cat bit me in the ass, and my life points were reduced to zero.
"I did it… I beat Ryo." Luna said in joy as she was kinda surprised by her victory.
"Wow, sis, actually won for once; those Vernussylph really gave it a boost."
"You did good, Luna," I said with a smile as I went over and patted her head, my sister preening at the praise.
For despite being triplets, I was the oldest one after all and so I was the big brother, mean to care for my younger siblings.
And now? Those Dark Signers were going to eat shit.

And so, not to be alone, she had reincarnated herself into a human vessel and gotten a job as a maid to help raise her lover; he couldn't remember her, but it was. This time, it was her time to do the seducing, for Ryo deserved all the love, which was why she had changed it so that all her Signers of this generation were born as girls.
Gifting him her light, though he had yet to unlock her darkness, it and the counterparts would be given to him once he mated with the appropriate human.
