Author's Note: This is the second crossover with General Hospital and Angel, featuring my O.C., Kellie Corinthos. Back in 2020-2021, I was binge watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel when I remembered that Port Charles (a general hospital spin-off) had a vampire storyline and it sparked ideas about what if Buffy and Angel existed in the General Hospital universe since vampires have. Kellie was in California several different times throughout the stories. The first story was "After Midnight" which took place before Kellie ever came to Port Charles. This story takes place in the years following "Crossing Into Dawn" which ended with Kellie and Tyler settling down in California to raise their family.
I'll be posting at least every Tuesday and Thursday in October through Halloween. Then will continue posting, but at slower pace in the months following.
Los Angeles – 2013
Kellie surveyed the neighborhood she found herself in. The building she'd tracked the girl she was looking for to looked run down and creepy if not haunted. She'd ended up in a club and passed a hotel if you could call it that. Both she'd recognized from the one time she'd been in L.A. before ending up in Port hadn't thought about that strange group of P.I.'s in a long time, Kellie thought as she moved closer to the building to get a better look.
She went to look in the window and noted the all the windows were blacked out. Kellie moved her face away from the window and took a moment to plan her next move.
Kellie decided her best bet might be to try entering in the back of the building as she saw a hooded figure walk to the entrance and then enter the building
Heading down the side alley, Kellie, she almost to the back when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Kellie turned and immediately punched a man with platinum blonde hair in the face. While the punch surprised the black leather duster wearing man, Kellie was shocked to note it didn't send him reeling as much as she thought it should. That thought put Kellie on edge in a way she'd only felt one other time.
"Who are you and what's going on here?" Kellie asked, pulling her gun out, but not aiming it yet.
"Easy, Pistol," the man spoke in an English accent, "I don't know what your doing in this neighborhood at night, but you really don't want any part of whatever might be going down here."
"I don't have much choice," Kellie said, stepping closer and aiming her gun at him, "I know more about the shadier parts of the world than you would think. Now what did you or whoever else you're with here do with my friend?"
"I'm trying to stop this," Spike said, "I've a feeling you have no idea what you're getting into. Tell me what your friend looks like, I'll make sure she gets out."
"I'm supposed to trust you why?" Kellie replied.
"Bullocks," Spike said, "We don't have time for this. You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you, considering you appear to be armed only with conventional weapons."
Kellie went to kick Spike. However, Spike was faster, darting out of the way and removing her gun from her hand effortlessly. Kellie swung at Spike's arm that grabbed the gun, knocking it loose. Spike lunged toward Kellie to shove her up against the wall as she managed to grab her other gun. Kellie pointed it at Spike and shot him in the chest. The silencer muffled any gunshot sounds that might have otherwise attracted anyone's attention.
"Ow" Spike exclaimed, staggering backwards in pain, but not falling or dying as Kellie would have expected. Spike's face shifted into its vampire form.
"What the hell kind of drugs are you taking?" Kellie said, shoving Spike backwards to the ground. Kellie managed to pick up her other gun and then turned around to run away from Spike only to run right into Angel.
Kellie went wide-eyed upon recognizing Angel. She was unsure despite his assistance in the past of his reason for being here and backed away from him. She aimed one gun at Angel and the other at Spike.
"Figures that if we crossed paths again," Angel said, "You'd pull a gun on me."
