This is the backstory of my OC character 'Rayne the Wolf' from my old 'Once Upon a Time' stories. I couldn't come up with anything new so I went backwards, to the original Grimm fairytale of the 'Golden Mermaid'. Mostly incorporates elements from the fairytale, not the Once series.
