He ruined everything for the beast, so he's going to ruin everything for him. (In which Wirt is stuck in the unknown and becomes the new beast, but a helpful brother goes on a mission to bring him back.)

Lost in the woods, a pair of twins find themselves navigating an eerie maze of shadows when they encounter a woodsman who offers to help guide them home. For Wirt, the burden of being a lantern bearer, tasked with preserving a fragile flame, has left little room for the complexities of life. That is, until a figure from his past reappears to upset the fragile balance of his world.
