Chapter 1: Heroix Unite Part One

'Until now, this great darkness had been sealed away in a dead universe millennia ago. It was in this time, that a dark lord came and led a great army of darkness with only one goal in sight. To conquer the known universes. Nothing could stand in their way…until the lord of all creation intervened. Through his power of strength through friendship, the lord of all creation sealed the dark lord and all of his darkness away. But now, the darkness has slowly started regaining its power…to this very day.'

Eli is seen riding his Infurnus, Burpy, soaring through the air with Aerrow, riding on his skimmer, and Vert, with his Crimson Wings, following before turning around and stopping at the screen before revealing the title.
Heroix Crusaders: Ethereal
Eli and Harley looked out across the 99 Caverns, wondering what else might be out there. The Storm Hawks walked towards the screen as Aerrow removed his scarf and unveiled the Atomic Crystal. Battle Force 10 hopped into their vehicles and drove out from the Deployment Station.
Heltora stood in the Forbidden Cavern, assembling her army, consisting of the Doom Slingers, Omentaurs, Darkbane and Omen Slugs. Eli, Aerrow and Vert held out their fists to each other and pounded together.
Eli, Aerrow and Vert fought against Heltora, clashing their weapons against hers. All 3 teams started to battle together. Heltora's giant shadow loomed over the 3 teams of heroes and fired a shadow blast. But they dodged the blast and flew up towards Heltora. Eli, Aerrow and Vert prepared a final attack and attacked together.
Eli, Aerrow and Vert turned to face the screen, joined by their teams.
In an underground world where wonderous creatures lived to maintain. They're known as slugs. They all lived happily in their home caverns known as the 99 Caverns. In a certain cavern lies a familiar hideout, the Shane Hideout, where the famous slingers and heroes lived; the Shane Gang. Speaking of them, the Shane Gang was each doing their own daily routines. Eli and Harley were tending to their slugs. Trixie was editing her footage from her camera onto the Slugnet. Kord and Vance were upgrading the Mecha Beasts. Pronto was fixing sandwiches. Mario was making pizza dough. Lash and Shimei were learning to dance the Waltz. Eliza and Will were looking after Xana. Watts was fileting fish. Dana and Deagan were doing target practice. The Garcias were cleaning the hideout. Rune was meditating. Barry was healing Bella's paw after she stepped on a thorn. Joshwa was making a modification to his robotic arm. Junjie, Yu Jie and the Fuurins were practicing their Slug Fu skills outside.
As Trixie finished editing her videos, she was looking through the Slugnet until she stumbled upon a news clip from 3 months ago. "What's this? 'Disappearance of Vuto Chiheart of the Chiheart family. Missing for over 3 months. Last seen in the Outland Reaches.' Huh. Very peculiar." She said. Just then, Eli walked over to her. "Hey, babe, what'd you find?" He asked. "Here, babe, take a look at this news clip. It says that over 3 months ago, Vuto Chiheart disappeared." Trixie said, showing her fiancé the news clip. "Hmm. 'Last seen in the Outland Reaches.' What could've happened to him?" Eli asked. "I don't know, Eli. I don't know." Trixie said as they stared at the picture of Vuto Chiheart.
Meanwhile, at Stalagmite 17, the most escape-proof prison building in all of Slugterra, where the most wanted and dangerous criminals, and rogue slingers, were kept. It is where each of the Shane Gang's enemies, Dred, Locke and Load, the Scrap Force, the Hooligang, John Bull, CC, Sedo, Munch, Malvolio and Brutale Drake, Fang, Squid, Mr. Saturday, the Game Master, Quintin, Sgt. Slug, the Freakshows, Blite and Spirex, were currently living. They each sat in their own cell, talking to each other. "The stench in this prison is more than I can stand!" CC exclaimed. "When I get out of here, the Shane Gang is going to pay through the nose with their lives!" Gator exclaimed. "I too would relish the chance to do away with Eli and Harley Shane, and their little team once and for all. But how exactly can we do that? Stalagmite 17 is inescapable." Mr. Saturday said. "You would know." Billy said, making a few of the others laugh. "But even so, we will get out one day and we will have our vengeance on the Shane Gang once and for all." Boss Ember said.
Suddenly, there was a loud noise outside that sounded like fighting. The villains hear the Security Slingers screaming in horror and terror before they went silent. "What's going on out there?" Dead-Eye asked. Just then, the doors were blown open with violent force. The villains were shocked as they looked on and saw 2 silhouettes within the smoke. One resembled a female and the other resembled a familiar Darkbane. When the smoke cleared, standing in the doorway was none other than Heltora and El Diablos Nacho. The villains were surprised to see Nacho, still alive. Heltora walked forward and stopped in front of their cells. "Greetings, enemies of the Shane Gang." She greeted. "Who are you?" Dred asked. "This is Heltora, Mistress of Darkness. The newest addition to the Shane Gang's villain list." Nacho introduced as he stepped forward. "What're you doing here?" Billy asked. "We're here to break you out." Heltora said. The villains were surprised to hear that. "Once you all are out of your cells, you can get your revenge against the Shane Gang…if you join my side." Heltora said. "Why should we join you when we can get our revenge on the Shane Gang?" Dred questioned. Heltora answered by holding out her hand and presenting a new kind of slug, which was pitch black with a white skull-like mask, hissing. "May I present…an Omen Slug." She said.
The villains gasped in shock to see such a slug. It was nothing like the ghoul slugs Dr. Blakk created. "You can have your revenge against the Shane Gang with this. I've created many Omen Slugs. They're more powerful than slugs, ghouls, even Megamorphs." Heltora explained. The villains looked at each other with sinister smiles. "Very well, Heltora. You've convinced us. We'll join you." Dred said. "Good." Heltora said. She used her dark magic on their cells and destroyed them, freeing the villains as they cackled in victory. As they gathered around Heltora and Nacho, the Security Slingers rushed into the cell room. "Stop right there!" The leader demanded, drawing his blaster as his men following, aiming their blasters at the villains. "Stuff your stops in your waste disposals. We have business to attend to." Heltora said. She snapped her fingers and black fog appeared around her and the villains as they all disappeared, much to the Security Slingers' shock.
Meanwhile, in the mountaintop world of Atmos, the Condor was landed on an open field terra. The Storm Hawks had decided to take some time off to relax with their pets after taking down a squadron of Talons an hour ago as Stork gave them a major shock with a lightning strike. So, they were having a peaceful picnic, enjoying the food they made and talking about all the amazing stuff they did in the past. As Stork regaled their trip in the Black Gorge to the members who weren't with them then, Finn and Twilight noticed that Vuto wasn't sitting with them. They looked around until they saw him sitting on a rock near the edge of the terra, eating an apple while his slugs ate chocolate chip cookies Lavender made. "Why's he sitting way over there instead of sitting with us?" Twilight asked. "Let's go talk to him and find out." Finn said. They got up and walked over to Vuto. "Hey, Vuto. You alright there?" Finn asked. "Oh, hey, guys. I'm fine. I'm just feeling homesick." Vuto said. Finn and Twilight looked at each other, knowing what he meant. He missed his old home and wished to return. "Don't worry, Vuto. We're going to find the way to your home." Finn said, trying to comfort him. "But you haven't found my home…yet." Vuto said in disappointment. Seeing the sadness in his eyes, Finn and Twilight looked at each other with worry. They needed to find a way to return Vuto to his rightful home. Slugterra.
Meanwhile, at Handler's Corners, the Battle Force 10 have recently completed their latest mission after their battle against the Vandals and are celebrating in Zeke's diner. "Zoom, that was a cool move you did shooting those Vandals with your aura arrows and sending them flying into the air like that." Olivia said. "Hehe. Thanks, Liv." Zoom said. All of a sudden, the ground started to shake violently as an earthquake erupted. Everyone in the diner started screaming in panic, took cover under the tables of the booths and held onto them. A few minutes went by as the earthquake came to a stop. Everyone slowly came out from under their tables, feeling shaken up by the sudden earthquake. "What was that?" Spinner asked in a frightened tone. "It was an earthquake." Sherman said. "Why now all of a sudden?" Stanford asked. "I don't know. But something doesn't feel right here." Vert said. Just then, Sage called them on their wrist-coms. "Battle Force 10! Come to the Hub immediately!" She exclaimed. "Everyone, head to base now." Vert said after hearing the urgency in Sage's voice. After the team paid for their meals, they rushed out of the diner and hopped into their respective vehicles, driving off towards the Hub. "Go full speed, heroes!" Zeke cheered as he came out to see them off.
Meanwhile, in a very dark, eerie cavern where it was supposed to be long forgotten…the Forbidden Cavern. Deep within the Forbidden Cavern stood a large dark palace. Within the palace, in the middle of a chamber, black fog appears. As it faded, it revealed Heltora and the Shane Gang's enemies. The villains took a moment to look around their new location. "Where are we?" Billy asked. "Welcome to the Forbidden Cavern, my new friends, a long-forgotten place where things have a dark history." Heltora said. Suddenly, dark creatures appeared out of the chamber's shadows and glared at the villains, wanting to kill them. The villains, minus Dred, were horrified to see these creatures. But before any of the dark creatures could attack, Heltora raised her hand. "Stand down!" She commanded. The dark creatures instantly obeyed her command, but remained glaring at their new visitors. The villains were shocked and a bit surprised that Heltora was able to command these dark creatures. "What are these things?" Dred asked. "They're called Creatures of Omentaur. They once roamed Slugterra a long time ago before they were sealed away into this very cavern. But now, they're finally free once more. I've broken that seal some time ago, and now they are under my command." Heltora explained. The villains looked wary at the Omentaurs. "Don't worry. They will not harm you if you dare to come near them and become their meal." Heltora assured. That made the villains terrified, except for Dred, who was unfazed.
"Anyway, it's time to get down to business. It's time to put my plan to work." Heltora said. "And what is this plan you set up?" Quintin asked. "We are going to lure the Shane Gang to Blade City to test out my Omen Slugs." Heltora explained as she led the villains down a dark hallway until they reached large double doors. She opened the doors to reveal thousands of Omen Slugs in a chamber. The villains' eyes widened in shock before them. "It's time to put them to the test." Heltora said as she smiled darkly and evilly. The villains smiled evilly at that.
Back in Atmos, the Storm Hawks had finished their picnic and were back on board the Condor. As they were preparing to take off, Finn and Twilight walked up to Aerrow and Aria. "Aerrow, Aria, we need to talk to you." Finn said, sounding serious. "What's this about?" Aerrow asked. "It's about Vuto. He's homesick and he's missing his home so much." Finn said. "And we haven't found a way to his home like we promised we would when we first met him." Twilight said. Aerrow and Aria looked at each other. "We did promise that we'd help Vuto get home, but we don't know where to find the way that leads to his home." Aerrow said. "And I remember that Vuto said his home is literally underground." Aria said. Finn and Twilight realized that and looked at each other. But they couldn't give up. "Wait, Aerrow, do you think the Atomic Crystal could lead us to Vuto's home?" Finn asked. Aerrow thought of that. "I'm not entirely sure if the Atomic Crystal can do that." He said. "Right now, we have bigger things to think about. We have to stop Master Cyclonis and her Cyclonian army from taking over Atmos, and from taking the Atomic Crystal as it's our duty to protect it." Aria said. As the Mistheart siblings headed over to the bridge, Finn and Twilight looked at each other, feeling disappointed that they can't fulfill their promise to Vuto before following their leaders.
"Stork, set a course for Terra Atmosia." Aerrow said as they got to the bridge. "On our way, Captain." Stork said. As the Condor was heading its way for Terra Atmosia, underneath Aerrow's scarf, the Atomic Crystal started to glow unnoticed. Then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, a large bright blue vortex-like portal appeared right in front of the Condor! The Storm Hawks were shocked to see that. "Where did that thing come from?!" Piper yelled. "Stork, move the Condor away from that thing!" Aerrow ordered. But as Stork attempted to do so, a powerful force caught the Condor and began pulling it in. "What's happening?!" Starling yelled in a panic. "Something's got the Condor! It's pulling us towards the portal!" Stork exclaimed. "Go full power!" Aria exclaimed. Stork went to full power and tried to break free, but he couldn't escape due to the powerful force. The Storm Hawks got worried as they were getting closer to the portal. "Hold on!" Aerrow yelled as the Condor was finally pulled into the portal. Once the Condor went through, the portal closed and disappeared. Nearby, a flock of birds was seen flying by where the Condor disappeared. But something was off. The bird flock stopped in midair, their wings not moving.
Back in Handler's Corners, Battle Force 10 arrived at the Hub and immediately went over to Sage, who's at her holo-computer. With her were TRINA, Destina, Iguanarox, Zug and Cellica. "What's wrong, Sage?" Vert asked. "I'm detecting an unknown energy reading from 100 miles underground that appears to have caused the earthquake earlier." Sage said. "We were all caught off guard when the earthquake shook up the entire Hub. And the strangest thing is that the slugs all started acting up." TRINA said. The team looked over to the slugs chittering as they looked worried. "What is wrong with them?" Zen asked. "They're sensing that their home is in danger." Agura translated. The Wheeler siblings realized what Sage said about the unknown reading was 100 miles underground, which was the slugs' home of Slugterra, meaning that something bad was happening down there. Before anyone could say anything, another earthquake struck! "AFTERSHOCK! TAKE COVER!" Vert yelled. Everyone quickly took cover as the aftershock shook the entire Hub. Once it stopped in a few seconds, the holo-computer started beeping as it picked up something. Sage went over to check it out. "Sinkhole forming outside Handler's Corners! 200 miles out! Battle Force 10, ready your vehicles!" She exclaimed. "Alright, team, load up the slugs into the trailer." Vert said. "If we go down into that sinkhole, we might wind up in Slugterra." Olivia said.
Later, after loading up the slugs in the trailer, and hooking it up behind the Zendrill, the whole team drove out through the Salt Flats, heading towards the sinkhole's location. Sage, TRINA, Destina and the pets also came along. Sage was in hibernation mode as she rode with Vert. TRINA rode with Olivia. Destina was also in hibernation mode as she rode with Stanford. Olivia shrunk Sully down to Bigfoot-size with her powers for him to ride with them. Soon, they reached their destination. They got out of their rides and walked over to the edge of a large sinkhole. "That's the largest sinkhole I've ever seen." Spinner said with a whistle. Sherman held up a scanner and scanned the sinkhole. "I'm detecting the same unknown energy reading emitting from this sinkhole." He said. "The energy reading that's emitting from the sinkhole might be slug energy." Vert said. "What does that mean?" Talia asked curiously. "Slug energy is the energy source that keeps the underground world of Slugterra alive. Without it, Slugterra will die. That's why the slugs exist. They produce the energy to keep their home alive and the magic flow throughout all the 99 Caverns." Olivia explained. The team was impressed to learn that the slugs maintain such a world. "Vert, this giant sinkhole might be an entrance to Slugterra. Do you think we can go down there?" Olivia asked. But before Vert could answer, Zoom interrupted. "Wait. I sense a hostile aura down there. And it's coming our way!" He said. Suddenly, on cue, the ground began to shake. "Another earthquake!" Spinner yelled. "No! This is not an earthquake this time!" Zoom said. Just then, something burst out of the ground, revealing itself to be a giant black worm with several spikes all over its body and long sharp, razor teeth. The team was shocked to see it as the giant worm roars at them.
"What is that thing?!" Horace exclaimed, freaking out. "It's a Burrowing Worm, another Omentaur!" Vert said, knowing what it was immediately. "That Burrowing Worm was the one causing the earthquakes and created this sinkhole!" Olivia exclaimed. The worm roared at the team and lunged for them. Vert fired a powerful fire beam and hit it, making it shriek in pain from the intense burns. "Everyone, get to your rides, now!" He ordered. Everyone hurried back to their vehicles and prepared to engage the worm. The Burrowing Worm recovered from the burns and began to attack the team, roaring in fury. Stanford and Horace struck first, firing their sonic and energy blasts. However, the worm was unfazed and lunged at them. The Reverb and the Defender quickly drove out of the way. "Our blasts had no effect on that thing!" Horace exclaimed. Sherman scanned the Burrowing Worm. "Oh no. My scan shows that the worm's body is harder than steel. It can't be harmed so easily." He said. "But it did get hurt by Vert's fire." Spinner said before he let out a high-pitched scream as the Burrowing Worm coming its way towards the Buster! Sherman managed to dodge the worm right before Zoom fired an aura arrow at it, getting its attention. The Burrowing Worm started chasing after the Scout. "Guys, I need some help here!" Zoom called as the Burrowing Worm was getting close to him. "I got your back, Zoom! Sherman, see if you can find a weakness in that worm." Vert said. Sherman ran a quick scan of the Burrowing Worm and located a weakness. "Vert, good news is that I found a weakness in the worm. The bad news, it's literally inside the worm. While the worm's skin is hard as steel on the outside, it's insides aren't." He explained. "That gives me an idea. Cortez bros, prepare one of your bombs. It's time to give that worm a taste of an explosive stomach ache." Vert said.
As the Cortez brothers prepared the bomb, Vert drove ahead to help Zoom. As he got close enough, he opened his cockpit and hit the worm with a fireball. It gave out a loud shriek as it turned attention to Vert. "What're you waiting for?! Come and get me!" Vert exclaimed. The Burrowing Worm lunged for him, ready to devour him. "Now!" Vert called. Spinner fired the bomb right into the worm's mouth. As the Burrowing Worm swallowed the bomb, an explosion was heard from inside its stomach, making it roar in great pain as its entire body was destroyed. The intensity of the explosion caused a shockwave, sending the entire team flying in the air. But as they landed safely on the ground, Vert ended up falling into the sinkhole! "WHOA!" Vert yelled as the Saber fell into the sinkhole's darkness, out of sight. "VERT!" Olivia screamed as she went after him. She activated her Jetray's jets and flew down into the sinkhole. The team saw what happened and was left in shock. "What're we gonna do?!" Talia asked frantically. "I've never done this before; follow after the Wheelers into the sinkhole!" Agura said. The Tangler drove and dived down into the sinkhole. The rest of the team followed after into the sinkhole, with the Buster being last. "THIS IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED!" Spinner yelled. The Buster fell down the sinkhole, with Spinner screaming as the Battle Force 10 free fall into the sinkhole's darkness, out of sight.
Meanwhile, back at the Shane Hideout, the team was watching the news report about the breakout at Stalagmite 17. "Every one of the Shane Gang's enemies have been broken out of their cells by someone and disappeared without a trace. Shane Gang, if you're watching this, we all hope you can figure out who did this, capture them and send them back to prison." The reporter said before Kord turned off the TV. "This is not a good sign." Eli said. "Yeah. All of our enemies are now free from Stalagmite 17." Harley said. "Someone broke them out. And I have a hunch that it was Heltora's doing." Aerona said. "E, what're we gonna do?" Trixie asked. Eli was about to answer, but then an alarm went off. Kala quickly went over to the computer, turned off the alarm and checked out the alert. "What's up, Kala?" Barry asked. "We got 2 distress calls from Bullseye Cavern and High Plains Cavern. Both caverns are being raided by groups of rogue slingers." Kala informed. "Alright, team, we'll have to split into 2 groups. Harley, Trixie, Kord, Pronto, Vance, Mario, Lash, Shimei, Watts, Dana and the Garcia sisters, we're going to Bullseye Cavern. Dad, Cilan, Tad, Rune, Barry, Joshwa, Deagan, Junjie, Yu Jie and the Fuurin brothers, you guys head to High Plains Cavern." Eli ordered. "And I'll stay behind to look after Xana." Eliza said. "Let's ride!" Eli said. The gang rode off on their Mecha Beasts before splitting into 2 groups. Little did they know, they were about to meet new faces as fate had plans for them.
Somewhere outside Bullseye Cavern, a portal suddenly opened. And out of it came the Condor as it closed. Stork managed to regain control of the ship and steered it, dodging around the stalactites. "Stork, land the Condor before we crash!" Aerrow ordered. Stork spotted an opening and safely landed the Condor. "Piece of cake." He said proudly. Afterwards, the Storm Hawks got out of their airship and checked out their new surroundings. "Where are we?" Aerrow asked. "And where's the sky?" Skyler added as all he saw there was no sky, only a cavern roof. Just then, Radarr and Mimi spotted some slugs hopping nearby. "Hey, guys, there's some more of those slugs like Vuto's." Radarr said. "They're all over." Mimi said. Vuto gasped as he realized where they were. "I'm back home! We're in my home of Slugterra! I recognize this cavern! We're right outside Bullseye Cavern!" He said in happiness. "How's that even possible?!" Aria asked in shock. Aerrow undid his scarf and looked at the Atomic Crystal. It was glowing softly. "I think the Atomic Crystal must be the one that created the portal brought us here. To Slugterra." He said. "I knew it! I knew the Atomic Crystal would be able to lead us to Vuto's home." Finn said. "But we're not in Atmos anymore. We've got to go back!" Piper said. Just then, the Atomic Crystal started glowing again. "You need not worry about your home, Storm Hawks." A voice spoke from the Atomic Crystal, surprising the Storm Hawks. "The Lord of All Creation." Aerrow said with realization. "There is a time dome that has frozen the entire Atmos in time. Not only has it prevented the people of Atmos from doing anything bad, but it also prevents Master Cyclonis and her Talons from doing anything horrible. The time dome will only be brought down when you return." The Lord of All Creation explained. The Storm Hawks were surprised by this information. "But for now, Slugterra needs your help, Storm Hawks. You will meet new allies and they will help you." The Lord of All Creation said as the Atomic Crystal stopped glowing. "Wait, what do you mean by that?" Aerrow asked in confusion. But the Lord of All Creation was long gone. Aerrow sighed at this. "Well, team, whatever he told us, looks like we're gonna be staying here for a while." He said as he put his scarf back around his neck and hid the Atomic Crystal. "He said that Slugterra needs our help and that we'll meet new allies who can help us." Aria said.
As the team tried to figure out what the Lord of All Creation meant, Vuto walked away from them and took a good look at the view of his home, feeling the happiness filling up inside him. His slugs felt the same. Finn and Twilight walked up to him. "How're you feeling, Vuto?" Finn asked. "I feel happy. Happy to see and feel my home once again." Vuto said. Finn and Twilight looked at each other with smiles as they finally fulfilled their promise to Vuto. Suddenly, there was an explosion in the distance. "What was that?" Twilight asked in alarm. Vuto ran over to a ledge and saw Bullseye Cavern in the distance, raided by rogue slingers. He gasped at the sight. "Storm Hawks! Come quickly!" He called. The Storm Hawks rushed over and saw the rogue slingers raiding the cavern. "That doesn't look good." Riggorix said. "We need to stop them before things get worse." Aerrow said. The Storm Hawks got out their skimmers and prepared to drive off. "Pets, stay with the Condor and watch over her." Aerrow said. The pets nodded, understanding his order. The Storm Hawks drove off towards Bullseye Cavern.
Meanwhile, the first half of the Shane Gang was on their way to Bullseye Cavern. "Get ready, team. Bullseye Cavern is just through these caves." Eli said.
At Bullseye Cavern, people were running for their lives from the rogue slingers as they destroyed everything in sight. The leader cackled in success. "This cavern is ours!" He declared. Just then, the sound of engines interrupted him. He and his rogue slingers turned to see the Storm Hawks drive up and stop right in front of them. "One chance. Stop what you're doing or we'll take you down." Aerrow said. But the rogue slingers brushed off his warning with a laugh. "Take us down? With what? You lot don't even have any slugs." The leader said. "We may not have any slugs, except our one friend here, but we have a little surprise for you." Aerrow said. The rogue slingers were confused by this. "Stork, bring the storm." Aerrow said. "My pleasure." Stork smirked as his eyes glowed lime green. Just then, dark clouds appeared right above the entire cavern. The rogue slingers looked up at the clouds in confusion. Just then, several lightning bolts strike and hit them, making them scream in pain.
At that moment, the Shane Gang were almost all the way to Bullseye Cavern until they saw the dark clouds looming over the cavern. "It must be just Tazerlings doing their Quetzalbolt move." Dana said. "I don't think so. There's no way Tazerlings could make that big of a thunderstorm before." Harley said. As he said that, several lightning strikes hit the cavern. The gang was shocked to see so much electricity. "There's no way Tazerlings could do that before." Pronto whimpered. "We better hurry." Eli said as he drove Lucky faster with the team following close behind.
As the dark clouds disappeared, the rogue slingers were burnt to a crisp by the big shocks. As they recovered, they stared at the Storm Hawks in fear. "Now leave or Stork will shock you again. But this time, it'll be more electrifying." Aerrow warned. With that, the rogue slingers ran off, screaming in terror as they left Bullseye Cavern. Once they were gone, the people of Bullseye Cavern came out from hiding and cheered the Storm Hawks for saving their home cavern. Then, the landlord walked up to them. "Young heroes, I'm Landlord Rumpass of Bullseye Cavern. I wish to bestow our thanks to you for stopping those rogues from taking our cavern." He said in gratitude for them for saving the day. "It was no problem." Aria said. But then, Vuto looked around and saw that the cavern had so much damage. "Aerrow, do you think you can restore Bullseye Cavern with the Atomic Crystal?" He asked. "Sure thing." Aerrow said as he undid his scarf and unveiled the Atomic Crystal. As he held it up, it glowed bright as it used its power. And in no time, Bullseye Cavern was restored. Landlord Rumpass and the people were shocked to see this, their home fully restored like the rogues never even invaded. "How did you do that?" Landlord Rumpass asked. "A bit of a…magic trick." Aerrow said as he puts his scarf back on to hide the Atomic Crystal.
Just then, they heard the sound of engines approaching. They looked over their shoulders and saw the Shane Gang driving over on their Mecha Beasts and stopping in front of them. "Uh, Eli, who are these guys?" Trixie asked. "We're about to find out." Eli said. The Shane Gang dismounted their Mecha Beasts and walked up to the Storm Hawks. "Who are you?" Aerrow asked. "I'm Eli Shane. This is my gang. Who are you?" Eli asked. "I'm Aerrow Mistheart. This is my squadron, the Storm Hawks. We're from the Atmos." Aerrow said. Eli and Harley were confused, not knowing what he was talking about. Vuto walked up to Aerrow. "Uh, Aerrow, they don't know about Atmos or any of the other stuff, like Sky Knights." He said. "Wait a minute. You're Vuto Chiheart, the guy who disappeared over 3 months ago." Trixie said, recognizing Vuto from the news clip. "And you're the Shane Gang, the heroes and protectors of the 99 Caverns." Vuto said. "Were they the ones responsible for kidnapping you?!" Harley asked. The Shane Gang drew their blasters and the Storm Hawks, minus Finn, Twilight and Vuto, readied their weapons, preparing for a standoff. "Whoa! Put those away! We didn't kidnap anybody! We found him and looked after him." Finn explained, stepping between the 2 groups. Eli, getting suspicious, was about to ask more questions. "They're telling the truth." Fareeda said, cutting in. "We should take them back to the hideout for more privacy." "She's right. I'd like to know more about them since I've never seen species like them before." Kord said, gesturing to Radarr, Mimi, Junko, Stork, Riggorix, Judy, Lavender, Amy Lu, Twilight and Francine.
Eli thought about this for a minute. "Very well. My gang and I are going to take you guys to our hideout for more explanations." He said as he and his gang put their blasters away. Aerrow and Aria looked at each other before they and their team put their weapons away. "Give us a minute." Aerrow said. The Storm Hawks all huddled up around their leaders. "What do you guys think?" Aerrow asked. "I'm a bit unsure if we can trust these guys." Starling said. "But while we have no knowledge of Slugterra, Vuto does." Piper said. "And the Lord of All Creation did say that we would meet new allies, and I think he was talking about the Shane Gang here." Amy Lu said. Aerrow looked over his shoulder to look at the Shane brothers and their gang before turning back to his team. "It's true. We can trust them." Aerrow said. With that settled, Aerrow and Aria walked over to the Shane Gang. "We've agreed to go with you to your base." Aerrow said. "Wait! Where are those dastardly rogue slingers we received a distress call about?" Pronto asked, blaster ready to duel. "Oh, they were already taken care of…with a bit of a shock." Stork said with a grin. The Shane Gang was confused, but shrugged it off. "Alright, gang, let's head on back to the hideout." Eli said. Both gangs hopped on their respective rides and drove off. "Your rides look cool and completely different than our skimmers." Riggorix said. "Thanks. I don't know anything about skimmers, but I'd love to learn about them." Kord said. The Shane Gang and the Storm Hawks were going to have quite the conversation when they get back to the hideout.
Meanwhile, somewhere outside High Plains Cavern, a large-sized hole is seen on the cavern roof. Suddenly, the Saber fell through it. "Whoa! Activate emergency airbags!" Vert exclaimed as he activated Saber's emergency airbags and landed safely on the ground. He sighed in relief before he took a moment to look around, seeing that he was back in Slugterra. "I can't believe it. I'm back in Slugterra. I haven't been here since I was 11-years-old with my sister and my childhood friends." He said. Suddenly, he heard noises coming from the hole above. He looked up to see the Jetray flying through, followed by the rest of the team. Everyone quickly activated their emergency airbags, except the Chopper as Zoom activated glider mode, and landed safely. It took a while for the team to calm down from their free fall. "Never do a free fall again. But then again, we've been through worse." Spinner said. Olivia landed her Jetray and drove up to Vert. "Vert, are you okay?" She asked with worry. "I'm okay, Liv." Vert said. Olivia sighed in relief. "Where are we?" Agura asked as she and the team looked around their new surroundings. "Welcome…to Slugterra." Vert and Olivia said simultaneously. The team was amazed to hear that they were literally in the underground world the Wheelers spoke of. They got out of their vehicles and took a moment to look around. Stanford saw some slugs hopping by and gazed at some giant mushrooms. "I never knew Slugterra's nature could be more beautiful than I thought." He said. Just then, he heard an explosion a few distances from the team's current position. Startled, he went towards a ledge and sees a town being invaded by rogue slingers. "Guys, come over here!" He called.
The team hurried over to Stanford. "That town down there is under attack from rogue slingers." He said. The team see the town and the rogue slingers attacking it. "That's High Plains Cavern. We gotta stop them before those rogues destroy it!" Olivia said. "Battle Force 10, to your vehicles!" Vert ordered. With that said, Battle Force 10 hurried back to their respective rides and drove off towards High Plains Cavern.
The people of High Plains Cavern ran for cover as the rogue slingers continued to cause their havoc as they claim to rule the cavern. "Yes! High Plains is ours!" The leader cheered. But then, his cheers were interrupted by the sounds of engines. He looked over his shoulder to see Battle Force 10's vehicles driving into the cavern before they halted. The Wheeler siblings and their team got out of their vehicles and prepared to draw their blasters. TRINA stayed in the Jetray to stay safe. "One chance. You and your rogues, stop what you're doing and get out of this cavern or else." Vert warned. The rogues just snickered. "Or else what?" The leader asked mockingly. Vert drew his blaster and slung Marshal, punching the leader hard and sending him sliding across the ground. As he recovered, he glared at Vert. "Slug them!" He ordered. As the rogues aimed their blasters at them, Battle Force 10 drew their blasters. "Get ready, team." Olivia said. The rogue slingers started slinging their slugs. Battle Force 10 quickly took action as they avoided the slugs and fired back with their own slugs. Each team member managed to take down each of the rogues.
But then, as Stanford took down the last 3 rogues with his Armashelt, he didn't notice another rogue slinger was right behind him and fired a Thresher. Agura saw this. "Stanford, look out!" She called. Stanford whirled around and saw the Thresher coming towards him. He didn't have time to dodge. He raised his hands in front of him to brace for the impact. Right before the Thresher almost hit him, someone tackled him to the ground and saved him from the slug. Stanford recovered and saw who saved him. It was Tad!
"Are you okay?" Tad asked. "Uh, yes?" Stanford said with a bit of a fright. Just then, as Tad helped Stanford to his feet, Will Shane's group arrived in High Plains Cavern. "Alright, Shane Gang, slug it out!" Will ordered. The Shane Gang drew their blasters and started firing their slugs, knocking down several rogue slingers. "Alright! Battle Force 10, let's end this!" Vert called. Battle Force 10 joined the Shane Gang as they fired their slugs together. The leader could see that his rogues were outnumbered as both gangs worked together. "Retreat!" He ordered. The rogues ran out of the cavern in fear. Once they were gone, the people of High Plains Cavern came out from hiding and cheered for the Shane Gang and Battle Force 10 for saving their cavern. Battle Force 10 gathered around their leaders. "Good job protecting the cavern, team. Your slug slinging lessons are paying off." Vert said. Just then, Will walked up to the team. "Who are you people?" He asked. But then, he spotted Vert and Olivia, and became shocked, recognizing them as his sons' old friends from the Surface. "Vert and Olivia Wheeler? Is that you?" He asked. "Hey, Mr. Shane." Vert greeted with a smile. "So good to see you again, sir." Olivia said, smiling and happy to see Will again. "Man, it's been a while since I've seen you kids." Will said, happy to see the Wheelers again. "Will Shane, you know these 2 people?" Junjie asked. "Yes, I do. I'll explain later when we get back to the hideout." Will said. He turned to Battle Force 10. "You guys are coming with us back to our hideout to explain everything."
Both team s rode out of High Plains Cavern and headed on their way to the Shane Hideout. Will drove up next to Vert's Saber. "I never thought cars would be brought down to Slugterra. But then again, your vehicles look different than the average cars up on the Surface." He said. "And your 3 friends, the iguana-man and the robots, I have never seen species like them in Slugterra. And the elf. I have seen elves here before, but she seems different for some reason." Yu Jie said. Vert and Olivia chuckled nervously at that. "We promise that we will explain everything." Vert said. "We'll tell you everything we know." Olivia added. With that, both teams continued driving towards the Shane Hideout.
Meanwhile, Eli's group and the Storm Hawks continued heading back to the Shane Hideout. "So, Vuto, what happened to you? You have been gone for a very long time." Trixie asked. "It's complicated. You wouldn't believe where I've been." Vuto said. Trixie was about to ask again, but Eli interrupted. "Trixie, it's best that we get our answers when we get back to the hideout to have these Storm Hawks explain themselves." Eli said. "Right. Okay." Trixie said.
Meanwhile, Will's group and Battle Force 10 continued heading back to the Shane Hideout as well. "Say, um, Horace, was it? Where'd you and your friends get these weird Mecha Beasts?" Joshwa asked. Horace was about to answer, but Vert interrupted. "It's going to be a very long explanation, Joshwa. And it's kinda hard to believe where my team and I come from." Vert said. Olivia rode up next to Will. "So, how have things been in Slugterra? It's been so long since Vert and I last visited here as kids." She said. "Oh, there have been a lot of changes. Eli and Harley will be excited to see you 2 again." Will said. "We've been missing those 2 a whole lot since we left, Mr. Shane." Olivia said. "Yeah. They were like little brothers to us." Vert said. Will chuckled at that, knowing the Wheelers very well once they reunite with their childhood friends.
Back with Eli's group and the Storm Hawks, they arrived at the Shane Hideout. The Storm Hawks took a look at the hideout and found it interesting. "Oh, this is nice. This is a nice place." Aria said. "Is this really your hideout?" Junko asked. "Yes. But it's also our beloved home." Aerona said. Everyone entered the Shane Hideout. The Storm Hawks looked around the place in awe, even spotting the Shane Gang's pets. "Man, maybe we should've brought our pets." Finn said. "I'm unsure of how our pets would've reacted to theirs. For all we know, they might've started a fight and caused disaster." Piper whispered. "Note taken." Finn whispered. Just then, Eliza walked into the living room and saw her sons and half their gang returned home with their interesting guests after putting Xana to sleep. "Hey, everyone. Who're your guests?" She asked. "Mom, these are the Storm Hawks. Storm Hawks, this is my and Harley's mother, Eliza Shane." Eli introduced. "It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am. I'm Aerrow Mistheart, the squad leader." Aerrow introduced. "And I'm his sister and co-leader, Aria." Aria introduced. "These are Radarr and Mimi, our faithful companions." Radarr and Mimi waved to greet, but didn't speak as this would cause a freakout. "I'm Piper Crystalheart, Aerrow's girlfriend." Piper introduced. "Finn Lightheart, sharpshooter of the group." Finn introduced. "I'm Junko Fistheart, the muscle of the team." Junko introduced. "Stork Joltheart, the group's pilot." Stork introduced. "I'm Riggorix Ironheart, the team's weapons specialist." Riggorix introduced. "I'm Skyler Stormheart, and these are my 2 triplet siblings, Skyla and Sky." Skyler introduced. "Hi." Skyla greeted. "Pleasured." Sky said. "I'm Judy Tealheart, Junko's girlfriend." Judy introduced. "I'm Lavender Indigoheart, Stork's lover." Lavender introduced. "I'm Starling Starheart, a lone survivor before joining the Storm Hawks." Starling introduced. "I'm Amy Lu Iceheart, ice expert and Sky's girl." Amy Lu introduced. "I'm Twilight Blackheart, Finn's lover." Twilight introduced. "Vuto Chiheart. I'm the guy who disappeared 3 months ago. It's an honor, Mrs. Shane." Vuto introduced. "I am Odessa Auraheart." Odessa introduced. "And I'm Francine Coralheart, Riggy's sister. Adopted, at least." Francine introduced. "Pleased to meet you all." Eliza said.
"Mom, are Dad and the others back yet?" Eli asked. Just as he said that, on cue, the Shane Gang and the Storm Hawks hear engines outside of the hideout. "That must be them. They must've took care of those rogue slingers in High Plains Cavern." Harley said. Everyone went outside. But as they did, they saw that Will's group wasn't alone as they pulled up. With them are Battle Force 10 with cool vehicles they've never seen before. Just then, Eli and Harley spotted 2 familiar people exit their rides; a man in a red suit and a woman in an amaranth purple suit. "Vert?! Olivia?!" The Shane brothers exclaimed in happiness as they rushed over to them. Vert and Olivia looked and saw the Shane brothers running up to them. "Eli?! Harley?!" They exclaimed in happiness. Eli jumped into Vert as he caught him in his arms for a big hug while Harley tightly wrapped around Olivia as he hugs her, which she returns. "It's so good to see you guys again!" Olivia said happily as she hugged Harley tightly. Even Burpy chittered happily, joining in on the hug fest. "Well, hello to you too, Burpy." Vert said. "What are you guys doing here?" Eli asked as they let each other go. "It's been so long since you guys last visited Slugterra." Harley added. "We can tell you guys a bit later." Vert said. "Yeah. We want you to meet our new friends and team, Battle Force 10." Olivia said as the team got out of their vehicles. "Eli and Harley Shane, this is TRINA, Agura Ibaden, Sherman and Spinner Cortez, Stanford Isaac Rhodes IV, Zoom Takazumi, Talia Wang, Rayona Singh, Ivan Dalton, Horace Karpov, Iguanarox, Zug, Grace Hernandez, Cellica and Zen Hyuuga." Vert said as he introduced each of the team members. "It's a pleasure to meet you all." Eli said. "Yeah. Now we want you to meet our team." Harley said. "You Wheelers already know our parents, Will and Eliza. This is Trixie Sting, Kord Zane, Pronto Geronimo, Vance Volt, Mario Bravado, Joshwa and Lash Jones, Shimei, Watts, Dana and Deagan Por, Cilan Garica and his kids, Aerona, Fareeda, Kala, Paulina and Tad, Rune, Barry Valentino, Junjie and Yu Jie Hanadera, and Daichi, Itsuki, Naoki and Satoshi Fuurin." Eli introduced. "And we're the Storm Hawks. I'm Aerrow Mistheart. This is my sister Aria, Radarr, Mimi, Piper Crystalheart, Finn Lightheart, Junko Fistheart, Stork Joltheart, Riggorix Ironheart, Skyler, Skyla and Sky Stormheart, Judy Tealheart, Lavender Indigoheart, Starling Starheart, Amy Lu Iceheart, Twilight Blackheart, Vuto Chiheart, Odessa Auraheart and Francine Coralheart." Aerrow introduced. The 3 teams shook hands with each other, though Stanford was a bit hesitant.
After the introductions, Will looked at Aerrow and was a bit surprised to see him. For he looked like an old teammate and friend he knew from when he was younger. Aerrow noticed this. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing. It's just that you look like someone I knew a long time ago." Will said. Aerrow raised his eyebrow. "Well, now that we're all introduced, come on in, everyone. Take a load off." Eliza said, leading everyone inside. As they entered the hideout, Vert and Olivia looked around. "Wow. It's been so long since we've last seen this old hideout." Vert said. "Yeah. There's been a lot of changes in the last 10 years." Olivia added. Just then, Bella leapt at Vert and playfully pounced him. "Ouch! Bella? Is that you?" Vert asked in surprise. Bella purred as she nuzzled him. "No way. Last time we saw you, you were just a little cub." Olivia said. Bella got off of Vert and nuzzled Olivia's legs. "Aw, I missed you too, girl." Olivia said as she petted the Zesherian. Just then, as Battle Force 10's pets entered, Bella and the other Shane Gang pets became a bit wary at them since they've never seen species like them before. The 3 teams watched them worriedly. But as the pets stared at each other, the Shane Gang pets welcomed the BF10 pets by playing with them. The 3 teams sighed in relief. "Now we really should've brought our pets." Finn whispered.
"So, Vert, how's everything been going up on the Surface?" Eli asked. "Oh, everything's just fine." Vert said. But before he could explain more, he was cut off by the sound of a baby crying. Eliza quickly ran upstairs and went to a certain bedroom. Then she came out a few moments later with Xana in her arms after she had woken up from her short nap. Upon seeing the baby Shane, most of the girls of the Storm Hawks and Battle Force 10 squeal at how cute Xana is. "What's her name?" Piper asked as she gently pinched Xana's cheek, making her giggle. "Her name's Xantara Shane, named after my late mother. She's our daughter, and Eli and Harley's baby sister." Eliza introduced. "I didn't know you 2 had a baby sister." Vert said as he turned to the Shane brothers. "Well, she was born months ago. And we've loved her so much ever since she was born." Eli said with a chuckle. "And we're so happy to have her in our lives." Harley added.
Just then, Xana sees something shiny under Aerrow's scarf. She started making baby squeals and reached out for Aerrow. "Oh, Xana, you want Aerrow to hold you?" Eliza asked. "Me?" Aerrow said in surprise. Eliza carefully handed her baby daughter into Aerrow's arms, helping him how to carry a baby. Once Xana was comfortable in his arms, she gave him an innocent look on her face. "Aw. You look so adorable. The most adorable thing I've ever seen." Aerrow said. Suddenly, Xana grabbed something underneath his scarf and revealed the Atomic Crystal. The Storm Hawks gasped in shock while the Shane Gang and Battle Force 10 looked confused once they saw the Atomic Crystal for the first time. "What is that? I've never seen a crystal like that before." Eli said. Aerrow quickly took the Atomic Crystal back from Xana and hid it back under his scarf. "It's nothing important." He said as he returned Xana to Eliza's arms. However, Vert raised an eyebrow in suspicion as he sensed a great power from the Atomic Crystal. He was about to ask, but then an alarm went off. "What's wrong?" Starling asked. Trixie ran over to the computer and checked it out. "It's a distress call from Blade City. It's under attack by unknown assaults, causing destruction." Trixie informed. "Shane Gang, ready your Mecha Beasts. We're going to Blade City now!" Eli announced. The Shane Gang, minus Eliza, whom decided to stay behind to look after Xana, along with TRINA, who's holding Sage and Destina, still in their hibernation mode, went to their respective Mecha Beasts. Just then, Aerrow and Vert walked up to Eli. "Mind if we come along?" Aerrow asked. "We wanna help you, in case of a dire situation." Vert said. "Sure thing. We could use the extra help. Hop in your rides and let's roll." Eli said.

And so…the Shane Gang, Storm Hawks and Battle Force 10 got in their respective rides and drove off to Blade City. On the way, Junko drove up next to Kord. "So, what is Blade City anyway?" He asked, thinking Blade City was some kind of terra. "Oh, Blade City is quite a very cool place." Kord said. That made Junko very interested. "There might be some yummy foods there." He said. "The food can wait, Junko. Right now, Blade City needs our help." Harley said, making Junko sad.
Soon, the 3 teams arrived in Blade City. But upon arrival, they saw that it was completely in ruins with fires everywhere. Everyone was shocked and horrified at the sight of the city's serious conditions. "What could've done all this?" Stanford asked. "Whoever did this, they're gonna pay for causing this destruction." Agura said in anger. Aerona looked around, but didn't see any people around. "The people must've evacuated before we arrived." She said. "Okay. Everyone, split up into 3 groups. Search everywhere for whoever's responsible." Eli said. As they got off their rides, the Shane Gang, Storm Hawks and Battle Force 10 all split up and went in different directions. Little did they know, Nacho and his team were on the rooftops, spying on them. "Good. Everything is going according to Heltora's plan." Nacho said. "But who're the other 2 teams? I've never seen them around before." CC asked, upon noticing the Storm Hawks and Battle Force 10. Nacho observed both teams for a bit. "Hmm. Their clothing looks completely different than the Shane Gang's. Along with those odd species I've never seen before. But no matter. We will deal with them later. Right now, we have some revenge to get on the Shane Gang for payback." He said as he smiled sinisterly.
The Storm Hawks looked around at the damages to Blade City. Vuto wondered how something could've wrecked this place. Finn and Twilight walked up to him. "Vuto, do you know this place?" Finn asked. "I came here once with my family to have some fun. But now the whole city's in ruin. Whoever did this, they must've had some very powerful slugs in their possession." Vuto said with worry. Finn and Twilight looked at each other with worry when he said that.
Battle Force 10 checked around as they investigated. Just then, they came up to a destroyed store. Olivia inspected the damage. "This could've been caused by a Hop Rock since they make explosions. Or maybe a Grenuke or a Blastipede. But this is much more powerful than those 3 combined to completely destroy this store." She explained. "Whatever slug they used, it must be very powerful." Vert said.
Suddenly, as the Shane Gang investigated the ruined city, they heard a slug being fired. "What's that?" Deagan asked. "I don't recognize this slug." Junjie said, not recognizing the slug being fired. Eli and Harley turned around to see a strange, monstrous, pitch-black slug coming at them. "DUCK!" Eli shouted. Everyone ducked down to dodge the slug as it hit a ruined building. As the Shane Gang recovered, they looked at the slug as it hopped out and snarled at them. "What kind of slug is that?" Mario asked. "It doesn't look like any ghoul I've ever seen." Trixie said. "It's not a ghoul." Eli said. Suddenly, there were familiar evil cackles in the air. The Shane Gang turned towards a wall of fire.

Nacho, Dred, Locke and Load, the Scrap Force, the Hooligang, John Bull, CC, Sedo, Munch, Drake, Brutale, Fang, Squid, Mr. Saturday, the Game Master, Quinten, Sgt. Slug, the Freakshows, Blite and Spirex emerged from the flames, blasters ready and cackling evilly. The Shane Gang stood up as they glared at their old enemies. "We've been waiting for you, Shanes. We meet again, at last." Dred said with a sinister smile. Harley snarled as he glared at Nacho. "You miss me, Harley?" Nacho asked mockingly. "Not as much as you think, you filthy Darkbane." Harley snarled. "So, these are your many enemies." Junjie said. "Much uglier than you described." Yu Jie added. "Oh, you like our little assembly here? We just thought that after we broke out from Stalagmite 17, we'd finally get some sweet revenge on you. You can call us…the Doom Slingers." Nacho declared. "Shane Gang, slug them!" Eli ordered as he and the Shane Gang drew their blasters and started firing their slugs.
Nearby, the Storm Hawks and Battle Force 10 heard several slugs fired along with explosions. "Eli! Harley! They're in trouble!" Vert exclaimed with worry. "We gotta help them!" Olivia exclaimed. "Storm Hawks, to battle!" Aerrow exclaimed. The Storm Hawks and Battle Force 10 hurried to help the Shane Gang.
As the Shane Gang continued firing their slugs, the Doom Slingers fired their Omen Slugs. One by one, the Omen Slugs easily defeated the Shane Gang's slugs, knocking them down or back to their slingers. The Shane Gang tried to retaliate, but they were thrown off by their slugs being knocked back at them. Suddenly, the Doom Slingers surrounded the Shane Gang with their blasters ready to fire. "We would've waited an eternity for this. It's over, Shane Gang." Nacho said with an evil smirk. The Doom Slingers cackled as they prepared to fire their Omen Slugs and destroy the Shane Gang.
At the Forbidden Cavern, within the dark palace, Heltora was in her throne room as she looked into her crystal ball to witness her Doom Slingers surround the Shane Gang as they get ready to finish them off. "Well, this is interesting. And my game is just about to begin." She said as she petted one of her Omentaurs. "The darkness…is rising." She said with a sinister smile.

WOW! What'd you think?! Wasn't that worth the wait?! The Shane Gang, Storm Hawks and Battle Force 10 were living their usual lives. But Heltora was making her own plans. She had broken the worst of Slugterra's villains out of Stalagmite 17. Meanwhile, the Atomic Crystal had transported the Storm Hawks through a portal and into Slugterra, and Battle Force 10 had fallen into a sinkhole that also led them to Slugterra. Upon arrival, both teams had just foiled the plans of rogue slingers and met up with the Shane Gang. But then, the villains, now calling themselves the Doom Slingers, have attacked Blade City with a new and more dangerous slug called an Omen Slug.
