A/N: I probably won't upload past Saturday until Wednesday to work on a couple of stories, as the only things that probably won't be updated are RWBY and Korra. (Though I will try just OC for both and work harder to think up dialogue.)

So, after Detentionairs late Friday, the next update will be about most of the stories.

Chapter VI: The Getaway.

Last Time.

Sam's House –08:15 PM

"So, we missed our snowboarding trip but at least we saved the world."

Sam said as they all sat on her cough Naruto had a black sleeve covering his entire left arm, shoulder, neck, and chest.

"And we saved Jerry." Alex saves from her spot.

"I never thought I'd admit it, but I was really starting to miss that old goat… I mean, mature guy." Clover says as Jerry appears on the TV.

"Good evening, spies. Just wanted to stop by and thank you for saving my life."

"Don't sweat it."

"Still, I did want to properly show my appreciation. And so, I'm sending you on a surprise ski trip to St. Moritz!" He says to them

"Wow!/Thanks!/Great!/Cool!"

"But first, I have a mission for you girls as Naruto recovers. I need you to train the entire W.O.O.H.P. K-9 division. That is after you do your homework and clean your rooms. And I have filing I need to be done."

"Not again! Jerry!" The girls complain in their seats.

Now.

Hawaiian Island –07:59 AM.

A man with fair skin, short graying hair, a mustache, and wearing glasses, khaki pants, a jacket, and a white shirt turned a camera on before looking at his watch.

"This is Professor John Payley. Diary entry: Thursday, 0800 hours." He said before looking back to the top of the volcano he was standing on. "I'm baffled. Every vulcanologist considers this a dormant volcano. But if that's true, then why-?!" He stopped as the volcano shook. "(Gasp) What on earth...?!" He looked as if his equipment started going off before looking down. "What on earth-?!"

He yells as fire engulfs him causing his glasses to fall.

Beverly Hills High –09:00 AM

"Ahh!"

The four spies yell as Clover piloted a drone above the school. Naruto was flung out just before it crashed into bushes and he landed in a tree while the girls shot out into another bush before he let out a frustrated scream. "What the hell? That mission was seriously screwed up! It was insane! I need a vacation..."

"Oh, that was, like, the perfect end to our harshest mission yet." Clover sighs as Sam smiles.

"For sure! After what we've been through, school will be a breeze."

"Good thing tomorrow night is the big dance! I so need to unwind!" Alex finished before they heard Mandy, and looked up to see her as Naruto, wearing jeans and a black shirt walked up.

"Don't kick back yet, girls. This afternoon is the track meet and having you three on our team… Makes me glad I'm not… But I'll be keeping my eye on you Naruto~" She winked as Sam and Alex held Clover back.

Later, Sam in a tight green shirt and shorts ran track with her hair in a ponytail before she got to hurdles.

She jumped over several before tripping on the last hurdle and fell.

Across the field, Clover in a pink version of the track suit vaulted before hitting the top pole and falling.

In the middle, Naruto wearing a white shirt and shorts threw his javelin and had it land just behind the farthest one out coming in second.

Later, on the other side of the track, Alex in blue shorts and a blue and orange top waited for her turn with the baton before dropping it as Sam was handed to her before being tackled by the other runners.

Sam's House –06:00 PM

"I hope I can move by tomorrow."

Alex groaned in Sam's hot tub outside wearing yellow bathing shorts with a bikini top.

"And I hope the dance will help us forget the way we blew the track meet!" She finished as Sam in a green one-piece bathing suit that's backless sunk in.

"Oh, don't say "dance" Alex. It makes my feet hurt more." Clover groaned wearing a white one-piece with an orange skirt with white flowers.

"How's the water?"

They turned and Clover drooled as hearts formed in her eyes Naruto in a black bathing suit with burning leaves on it walked up to get in it as the others blushed.

"F-fine." Sam blushed as he got in.

"Ah, come on, it was only bad because we got back from a mission that left us drained." Naruto groaned as he leaned back, arms resting on the edge.

Suddenly, they were pulled down as the water was sucked into a hole before appearing in Jerry's office. "Jer-!" The girls stopped as Clover feinted while Sam and Alex blushed and turned away as Naruto groaned losing his suit during the slide before it finally fell.

"What the hell Jerry?" Naruto groaned after putting his bathing suit back on and stood. "You couldn't let us rest? You have other agents. The last time I saw that woman with long brown hair in a braid with a silver catsuit doing jack squat!"

"Jerry, tell me you're kidding. I mean, we just got back from the most intense mission we ever had." Sam sighed blushing as she turned to him.

"We are wiped! Trashed! Tweaked!" Alex said as Clover started waking up.

"Relax." Jerry waved his hands as the girls glared.

"How, when you're about to send us on another mission?"

"A mission to relax. You're no asset to W.O.O.H.P. when you're stressed, so I'm sending you on vacation, here." Jerry tossed them each a bag or knapsack.

"Let me guess. This is a bullet-proof covering we use for escaping from a jungle prison?" Sam asked pulling a beach towel from hers.

"No, this is a towel you use for drying off after a swim," Jerry replied crossing his arms.

"Ah-ha, I bet this is a high-speed drill and a tube of blasting gel to blow out a wall!" Clover asks pulling a small umbrella and sunblock

"No, a beach umbrella and sunscreen to stop a sunburn. And before you ask, that's a nose clip for swimming." Jerry replies as Alex pulls a nose clip from her before spinning it around. "He then tossed Naruto a small case. "Oh, that's the Gadget Emergency Kit. A precaution. You won't need it."

"Let me get this straight… You're sending us somewhere to have fun?" Sam asks looking up.

"How does Hawaii sound?"

"Too good to be true." Naruto deadpanned as Sam smiles.

"I have just one question... When does our flight leave?"

"In one minute. Just step in here." Jerry pointed to a wall that opened up to show a circular elevator the four got in, Naruto in the back before grunting as they had to squeeze in.

"This elevator's kinda small. Does it take us right to our plane?" Sam asked as Jerry smiled.

"Oh, there's no plane. A cruise missile is much faster. Bon voyage, spies!"

"What?" Naruto asked as the door closed and they were sent flying into the air and moved towards Hawaii.

"Naruto! Could you stop poking me with the umbrella?" Alex asked glancing back.

"… Sorry?" Alex then reached back to move the handle before Naruto gave a pained groan having her stop. "That's… Not an umbrella handle." He groaned as Alex looked to see the umbrella was still in Clover's hand before blushing as well as Sam and Clover.

The missile stopped above a beach in Hawaii before dropping the four then shot off before a blonde-haired woman in a white business dress came up to them.

"Hi! I'm Julie, your W.O.O.H.P. travel agent! You must be Naruto, Sam, Clover, and Alex. I have your vacation all set!"

"Julie, could you be not quite so perky?" Sam asks as they stand while music starts playing.

"Huh?"

"I can't believe it, we're really in Hawaii! This is like my ultimate fantasy trip!" Alex speaks with stars in her eyes as Julie walks in front of her to point down the beach.

"Up the beach, we have hula dancing!"

"If it'll get you to dial down the perkiness, I'm there." Sam sighed before dancing as men followed behind her.

"My kind of dance is the Taualunga." Alex smiled dancing off.

"Or you could just lie back and work on your tan!" Julie said as Clover put a towel down.

"Now that's my kind of work."

Later, Naruto got out of the water and walked up to the towel. "Naruto~"

Turning, Naruto saw Clover on her stomach. "Could you put sunblock on for me~?"

"Sure."

He walked over put lotion on his hands and started rubbing her arms, shoulders and stopped as he looked at her legs. He then jumped as Alex dropped surfboards when bumping into them.

"Whoops! My board got away from me." A muscular teen boy with blonde hair apologized rubbing the back of his head while holding his board with the other hand.

"My name's Alex. Who are you?"

"Corey, I came here to study volcanoes with my college professor, which is totally cool because Hawaii is my ultimate fantasy trip."

"Really? Mine, too!" Alex exclaimed clasping her hands together.

"Excellent! Yeah, I love the food, the people, the music… Though I'm not much at hula dancing."

"No?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Well, my favorite dance is one you might never have heard of. It's called the Taualunga."

"Mine too! This is almost, like, destiny! Who's your favorite band?" She asked as he started to think.

"Oh, wow, that's tough. There are thousands to choose from but I'd have to say my favorite is Ultra…"

"Loud Zone!/Loud Zone!" both of them spoke up.

"Are you doing anything later?" She asked as he shook his head.

"No, Professor Payley was supposed to bring me to his camp at that dormant volcano, but he never showed. Hey, wanna catch a wave?"

"Oh, sure! Hey, surfin' is the only life for me." She lied before Corey handed her his board and they looked out at the waves. "(Gasps) Right. I just gotta go tell my friend where I'll be." She then runs to see a blushing Naruto finish Clover's legs. "Naruto, have you got a minute? I need you to tell me how to surf."

"Huh?"

Later, Alex was on her board paddling with Corey. "Corey, how big do these waves get?"

"Oh, three. Maybe four."

"Feet?" She asked with relief.

"Stories."

"Four stories?!" She asks in shock as a wave starts to come to them.

"Here we go!" Corey yells standing up to ride as Alex goes over it screaming. He rode until it went down and fell in the water before coming back up. "Awesome! C'mon, Alex!" He looks back to see her paddling back as he gets to the beach.

"Corey, I have a confession! I never surfed anything bigger than, uh, a 35-foot wave!"

"OK, hold on, Alex!" He yells before a ring of fire forms around him and he disappears.

"Corey! Naruto! Sam! Clover! Help!"

The three got on a boat and rowed up to Alex who was still in the water. Another wave formed having all of them crash onto the beach.

"Anyone injured?" Sam asks stretching out.

"I have critical split-end damage." Clover groans on her knees.

"And Corey's gone! He stood right there and vanished in a burst of fire." Alex said as Naruto and Clover crouched to look at the soot on the beach where Corey stood. "It was like a volcano erupting!

"This doesn't look like sand to me," Clover said as Sam looked down.

"It's obsidian, volcanic glass!"

"Is there anything you don't know?"

"Corey said his professor flaked out and never showed up for his field trip to study that volcano!" Alex exclaimed punching her palm.

"You're saying there's a connection between the missing volcano prof and Corey going up in smoke?" Clover asks her as she stands.

"I got a bad feeling about this. I'm calling Jerry." Sam sighed as she brought her compowder up. "Jerry, this Sam. Hello? Hello?"

"Hello, Sam. Are you there?" Jerry asked as the screen started to become static. "I don't read you, sorry." He said before the screen went black.

"Really? A big spy agency and the gadget isn't waterproof?" Naruto asked as they walked back to their towel and Sam picked up the emergency pack.

She picked up a pink PDA and handed it to Alex who opened it to show a screen and keyboard.

"'Computer Spy Manual.' Type in "volcano." Let's see what comes up." Alex typed it in and a map of Iceland came up.

"W.O.O.H.P. has a Volcano Research Lab in Iceland. Maybe they can answer our questions." Sam mused as Clover looked up.

"Iceland? Where it's like, all icy?"

"Wrong one, Greenland's the mostly icy one," Naruto explains as he looks over at her. "While both have ice, Iceland's only around 10% of it while Greenland's around 80%."

"Corey needs our help!" Alex yells as Sam nods.

"Alex is right, Clover. We have a duty to check this out."

"Hi!"

They jumped as Julie appeared by them before Alex spoke. "Julie, we have to get to Iceland.

"Oh, no problem! I'll arrange it!" Julie grins pulling a remote out.

"I swear, if she doesn't stop grinning…" Sam groans as another cruise missile comes out of the ground by them.

W.O.O.H.P. Laboratory – Iceland –02:15 PM

The spies all fall beside a metal circular building in the snow. "Shit! Of course, it had to be in the cold part of the county!" Naruto yelled as they were still in their bathing suits.

"What are you doing in Iceland dressed like this?"

They looked to see a man dressed for the cold weather with fair skin, glasses, and a beard.

"C-could we d-discuss this over a hot, grande, d-decaf soy latte?" Sam asked as she and the others shivered.

Later, the four are inside all under a large space blanket with hot beverages in hand. "Dr. Sorenson, we need to know if you've had any reports of volcanic eruptions in Hawaii," Sam asked the scientist as others were monitors.

"We had one yesterday and one earlier today. Both were near a dormant volcano, so we assumed they were false alarms. If there were eruptions, we'd have heard from our vulcanologist, Professor Payley."

"Professor Payley?" The spies asked together.

"He's been missing since yesterday, and his student Corey vanished earlier today!" Alex explained before an alarm went off

"Now I know we have a bug in the system," Sorenson said turning to the computer as the spies stood and Sam looked at Sorenson.

"You sure the eruptions aren't real?"

"My dear, if all these volcanoes were to erupt at once, it would mean massive global destruction."

"So, it's safe to go back to Hawaii?" Alex asked as he sighed.

"Well, if people are disappearing there, I wouldn't call it safe. You're not thinking of going back?"

Hawaii –04:02 PM

The spies in their spy suits landed on top of the volcano and put their parachutes away. "How did they get these things in the kit?" Alex asked as she finally closed hers.

"Pass me the binocular shades," Sam spoke as Alex tossed her the shades and had the lens extend.

"I don't see any sign of Payley. Can we just go home now?" Clover asks as she walks over.

"Wait a sec, I see something down there. Looks like glass!"

They slid down with Naruto grabbing Sam to keep her from falling and moved back as a boulder fell after. They got to the bottom and walked up to a pair of glasses. "Forget the he-went-home theory. He wouldn't leave these," Sam said picking them up.

"Look, a camcorder!" Clover picked up the camera as Alex walked over to smile.

"Hey, let's make a video of us!"

"Don't! It may have recorded a clue! Let's rewind and see what he was doing." Sam runs over and rewinds the footage to show Payley disappearing.

"What on earth...?!"

"There was an eruption! And Prof. Payley vanished just like Corey!" Alex mused as Clover picked up a rock.

"One problem, Alex. If this was all molten lava yesterday, how come the rocks look totally the same today?"

"Let me see. Naruto, walk out there." Sam points in front of them as Naruto grumbles about taking orders before hearing her speak. "What?"

"Nothing… Is this where he was standing?"

"Exactly. See this crack?" Sam asked looking at a circular crack Naruto was now standing in.

"Duh!" Clover exclaimed as she and the others walked in. "It's so obvious this is a trap-!"

They all then fall through a hole as the ground sins having them come down in a circular room a cell with Payley and Corey in a cell. "Corey! You're all right!" Alex got up to run over.

"Alex, get out of here before they catch you like they did us!:

"Intruders!"

They turned to see men in cloaks holding rifles before running down a hallway while being shot at. "I'll be back for you, Corey!"

They run out into a catwalk over a large lab and lava. "We just hit Volcano Central!" Clover exclaimed as they looked down.

"It looks like that humongous laser keeps the lava cooking!" Alex points to a laser coming out of the bottom of the lab shooting into the lava.

"I bet this place is wired into every other volcano on Earth!" Sam exclaimed as Clover looked over

"What kind of freak came up with this?"

"That would be me!"

They turned to see a man in a cloak with a very burned face.

"Dr Hefestus is the name, global devastation is my game. Forgive me if I startled you."

"Meeting people is so awkward. Let's try this again, from the TOP!" Clover spoke before more men appeared behind Hefestus.

They ran towards the computer in the middle and attacked the men and Hefestus before a ring of fire appeared around them. "Uh-uh-uh! Careful, guys. Volcanic fire ruined my face. As it will... Yours." He went to the computer and showed a map of every volcano. "My machine can erupt every volcano on earth! And when the world is covered in lava, you all will look like me!"

"You have serious issues, though I'm sure it's nothing a facial wouldn't cure." Clover taunted as Alex brought a hand to her chin.

"I can relate. That week I had a pimple, I was a major witch."

"True, but we still loved you anyway." Clover smiled as Naruto looked around before wires tied his arms together.

Later, the four are hanging upside down and being lowered into the lava. "We're almost in the lava and this heat is trashing my hair!" Clover whined as Sam blinked.

"Heat? Maybe my com-powder is dry! Jerry! Jerry? Ah, forget it. Sam calling Dr Sorenson!"

A moment later, the Doctor answered. "Sam! Are you alright?"

"Well, we're kinda hung up, Dr. S. Can you reach Jerry?"

"I'm a little busy myself! Every volcano on earth is starting to blow!" Sorenson replied as Alex looked at the lava.

"We have to do something! Molten lava's about to cover the world!"

"Not to mention our hair!"

"Alex, give me your nose-clip!" Sam said before Alex threw her the clip.

She spun it and threw it up wrapping a switch and then went back up.

"You go, cowgirl!" Clover yells as they climb up and run down catwalks dodging shots.

They each took out men as Naruto used his webbing, and the girls used their vacation items. Alex locked one man up and saved Corey and Dr Payley. They then ran to shut down the computer only for the lava to reach the platform.

"Hey! (Sniff!) I smell garlic." Alex said as Sam raised an eyebrow and reached out to pull lava into her palm noticing it wasn't burning before tasting it.

"Huh? This is hot, as in spicy. It's definitely not lava. It's marinara sauce!"

"That's right, spies."

They looked to see Hefestus and two men walking over and removing his face revealing it was a mask and Jerry was under it. "Jerry?!"

"And your henchmen are really W.O.O.H.P. agents?"

"And Corey is really...?" Clover trailed off as Corey pulled his face off to show short brown hair, and acne and then put on glasses

"You're not trying to destroy the world? What's going on?" Naruto asked before Soreson came up on a screen behind them.

"It was all part of the test."

"Everything was fake?" Sam asks Jerry who nodded.

"Yes. This phony volcano was once an arch-villain's hideout. Now I use it for our annual field test."

"You were testing us?" Naruto asked as he blinked. "That's bullshit!"

"Did we pass?" Sam asks as Jerry shakes his head.

"Uh, no. The lava got you before you could save the world. So, you all have to undergo re-training."

"I'm regretting joining." Naruto sighed as he rubbed his face before the volcano shook. "I thought this was dormant?"

"No! This is real!"

"There is an actual volcano under your fake one and it's erupting!" Sorenson explained before they all ran out to the elevator only for rocks to fall blocking them.

They then used Alex's parachute to pull them all out via the hot air before getting out just as the volcano erupted.

"We made it, thanks to you guys. You showed real resourcefulness!" Jerry said to them as Sam looked over.

"You still going to flunk us?"

"No, you pass, with flying colors!" He replies as Clover smiles.

"Cool! Now, how about a real vacation?"

Beverly Hills High –07:32 PM

"I've heard of guys being two-faced, but Morey was ridiculous."

Alex said as she and the others walked to the gym for the party.

She's wearing a yellow dress and heels.

Clover's wearing a blue and white sleeveless bodysuit and heels.

Sam's wearing a pink dress and knee-high-heeled boots.

Naruto's wearing a black shirt with camouflaged pants and black shoes.

"Let's forget Hawaii and just enjoy the dance. I wonder what theme they picked." Sam said before opening the door as they got to it.

And showed a Hawaii theme as Mandy came out of a volcano dancing in an orange sarong, top, and a lei.

"No! Not that! Anything but this!"

The girls all ran out as Naruto turned to walk behind them.

"They seriously need to get a life." Mandy scoffed before they continued to dance.
