Epilogue: A Challenge for Bunga

The next day, after finishing their morning patrol, the Lion Guard decided to pay a visit to the baboon siblings. But their visit wasn't just a friendly one—Bunga had something to prove.

Bunga: "I'm going to beat you, Fuli." He said confidently, his arms crossed.

Fuli: *scoffs* "I'd like to see you try." She smirked, flicking her tail.

Beshte: "I don't know, Bunga. It's a pretty hard challenge." He chuckled.

Ono: "It's never too late to back out." He adjusted his wings.

Bunga: "Ha! Back out? Me? I'm the bravest. I never back down from a challenge." He scoffed.

Kion: "Well, as your best friend, I hope you win." He grinned.

Bunga: "Thanks, Kion. And don't worry, I'm for sure going to win." He puffed out his chest.

Fuli: "I like your confidence, Bunga. But you're still going to lose." She raised an eyebrow playfully.

Bunga: "We'll see about that." He smirked.

After a while, they arrived at the baboon siblings' tree, where they saw Makini playing tag with the little ones.

Asha: "Hehehe." She giggled as she tapped Bobo's arm. *baby voice* "Tag! You're it!" she squeaked before taking off running.

Bobo: "I'm gonna get you, Asha!" He grinned, immediately chasing after her.

Asha: "Hehehehehe!" She squealed as she ran.

Makini: "Hey, look! It's the Lion Guard!" She spotted the Lion Guard approaching.

The baboon siblings stopped playing and turned to see their friends. Their faces brightened with excitement.

Bongo: "Fuli!" He cheered as he ran straight toward her.

In one swift motion, he climbed onto her back and wrapped his arms around her in a big hug. But, of course, he couldn't resist—his hands immediately found her tail, and he playfully tugged at it.

Fuli: "Hehehe. Hi, Bongo." She chuckled.

Makini, carrying Asha in her arms with Bobo walking beside her, approached them with a bright smile.

Makini: "Hi, guys!" She greeted.

Kion: "Hi, Makini." He smiled.

Beshte: "Are you enjoying babysitting?" He beamed.

Makini: "Oh, yes. I love being a babysitter!" She nodded eagerly.

Kion: "We're glad to hear it." He exchanged a pleased glance with the others.

Ono: "Affirmative." He nodded.

Bunga: "Bongo, Bobo, do you mind standing next to each other?" He then stepped forward.

Bobo: "Sure." He shrugged.

Bongo, still clinging to Fuli, reluctantly let go and climbed down before standing beside his twin.

Bongo: "So, why are we standing next to each other?" He asked, tilting his head curiously.

Bunga: "Because I want to prove to Fuli that I can guess between the two of you with my eyes closed." He grinned.

Bongo and Bobo exchanged amused glances.

Bobo: "Really? With your eyes closed?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Bongo: "There's no way you can do that." He added, laughing.

Fuli: "That's what I said." She smirked.

Makini: "Yeah. It's impossible to guess with your eyes closed." She giggled.

Bunga: "Well, I'm here to prove it once and for all." He placed his hands on his hips.

Bongo and Bobo: "Okay." They shrugged.

Kion, Ono, Beshte, and Makini sat down, with Asha climbing into Makini's lap.

Fuli: "Okay, Bunga. Close your eyes." She grinned.

Bunga shut his eyes tightly.

Fuli: "No cheating." She leaned in slightly.

Bunga: "I won't." He smirked. "Where are you guys?" He started waving his paws around.

Bongo: "We're right in front of you." He laughed.

Bobo: "Just walk forward." He chuckled.

Bunga took small, careful steps, his hands stretched out in front of him. When he reached one of the twins, he placed his hands on their face.

Bunga: "Uh-huh. Okay…" he murmured thoughtfully, his fingers gently pressing their cheeks.

Then, he reached for the other twin, feeling their face just as carefully.

Bunga: "Huh. Both your cheeks are really soft." He said with curiosity.

Bongo and Bobo: "Hehehe." They giggled.

Asha tilted her head.

Asha: *baby voice* "What is Bunga doing?" She asked.

Makini: "Bunga is trying to guess who is Bongo and who is Bobo." She chuckled.

Ono: "With his eyes closed." He added.

Asha: *gasps* *baby voice* "That's very hard." She gasped.

Kion: "Do you know who is Bongo and who is Bobo?" He smirked.

Asha: "I don't know. They look the same." She admitted, shrugging.

Kion, Ono, Beshte, and Makini couldn't help but gush at Asha's adorableness.

Beshte: "You're so cute, Asha." He cooed.

Makini: "The cutest." She smiled, holding Asha close.

She then playfully tickled Asha's tummy.

Asha: "Hehehe." She giggled.

Bunga: "Okay, I've made my decision." He crossed his arms, ready to declare his choice. "Bobo, you're on the left. And Bongo, you're on the right." He opened his eyes, then pointed toward the twin on the left and then the one on the right.

Bobo: "Nope. He's Bongo. I'm Bobo." He grinned.

Bunga: "Aw, man! I got it wrong." His shoulders slumped.

Fuli: "Told you." She grinned victoriously.

Bongo and Bobo: "Sorry, Bunga," they said in unison, smirking.

Bunga: "I really thought I got it right." He pouted.

Fuli: "Now it's my turn." She stepped forward.

Bunga sulked as he walked back to his friends.

Ono: "Nice try, Bunga." He patted his back.

Beshte: "Don't feel bad, Bunga. Anyone could've gotten it wrong." He smiled.

Bunga sighed but felt a little better.

Makini: "I wonder if Fuli will guess right." She tilted her head.

Kion: "Let's find out." He grinned.

Bongo: "You ready?" He turned to Fuli.

Fuli: "Ready." She closed her eyes.

Bongo and Bobo quickly switched places a few times, trying to trick her.

Bobo: "Okay, you can guess now." He smirked.

Fuli stepped forward, lifting a paw and gently feeling one twin's face, then the other's.

Fuli: "Hmmm." She hummed in thought.

Then, she decided on a different strategy—she used her nose to pick up their scent.

Bunga: "Hey, you can't sniff them!" He whined.

Fuli: "You never said I couldn't." She smirked.

Kion: "She is right, Bunga." He chuckled.

Makini: "Who knows? Fuli might guess wrong too." She giggled.

Fuli: *sniff sniff sniff* "Okay. Bobo, you're on the right. And Bongo, you're on the left." She continued sniffing, then confidently made her choice.

Bongo: "Yay!" His face lit up.

Bobo: "You got it right!" He clapped.

Bongo immediately hugged Fuli, and she licked and nuzzled his cheek lovingly.

Fuli: *purrs softly* She purred.

Bongo: "Hehehehehe." She giggled.

Kion: "Great job, Fuli." He smiled.

Fuli: "Thanks." She smirked.

Bunga sighed in defeat.

Bunga: *sighs* "Okay, Fuli, you win." He smiled, accepting his loss.

Ono: "I guess Fuli really knows her best friend." He nodded.

Beshte: "You said it, Ono." He grinned.

Asha: *baby voice* "Yay, Fuli!" She clapped excitedly.

She hopped off Makini's lap and hugged Fuli's leg.

Bobo: "So, what do we do now?" He grinned.

Makini: "You guys want to play hide and seek?" She smiled.

The siblings' faces lit up.

Bongo, Bobo, and Asha: "Yes!" they cheered.

Fuli: "But this time, try not to hide in any logs." She chuckled.

Everyone laughed as they ran off, ready to enjoy another fun-filled day together.

Makini looked around at all her friends and the joy surrounding them. She had learned so much from this experience—not just about babysitting but about responsibility, friendship, and trusting herself. Even though she had doubted her abilities, she had grown from her mistakes and realized that she had what it took. Babysitting had its challenges, but in the end, it was one of the most rewarding things she had ever done.

As the sun shone over the Pride Lands, the Lion Guard and the baboon siblings played together, their laughter filling the air. They had faced fire, danger, and even Bunga's ridiculous challenge, but through it all, their bonds of friendship had only grown stronger. No matter what came next, one thing was certain—whether it was saving the Pride Lands or simply playing a game of hide and seek, they would always be there for each other.
