FriskTale
Chara furiously screeched and slashed, shouting and yelling, swinging their knife at the apparitions before them. It wasn't fair! Why did Frisk get to have a happy ending after all they had done? After all the genocides, all the dust, they didn't deserve such an ending. And certainly not with Asriel, who didn't remember Chara at all anymore.
Chara kept slashing at the images before them, which showed what was going on in the universe they were no longer a part of. They had been wiped from existence entirely. They had been forgotten by everyone, and all their actions erased just like that.
It wasn't fair, they kept thinking. Frisk didn't deserve any of it. They took Chara's place. They stole Chara's brother and family away from them. A tiny part of them said that this was good. Now the Dreemurrs were free and all the horrible things Chara had done to them were undone. But they silenced it, as they didn't care about that anymore. They just wanted to keep on killing, to go back to the loop, take control of Frisk's body, and continue the massacre.
"YOU MIGHT AS WELL CEASE IT, CHILD. THERE IS NO POINT."
"Shut up!" Chara screeched at the figure next to them. He had been erased just like them, only he seemed content with it.
"YOU CANNOT RETURN TO THE TIMELINE," Gaster reminded them. "THE ENERGIES OF THE CORE HAVE COMPLETELY UNCOUPLED YOU FROM THE FLOW OF TIME, AND RESETTING WHILE YOU WERE BEING EXPUNGED HAS ONLY CORRUPTED THE DATA. IT IS FORTUNATE THAT THE WORLD WAS ABLE TO RESOLVE THE ERROR BY HAVING THE EIGHTH HUMAN TAKE YOUR PLACE."
"I told you to shut up!" Chara slashed him with their knife, but it had no effect. "I'm supposed to be the angel! The angel of death! It is my destiny to free them from their suffering forever."
"DO NOT PRETEND THAT YOUR ACTIONS ARE FOR A NOBLE PURPOSE, OR THAT THERE IS SOME JUSTIFICATION BEHIND IT," Gaster reprimanded. "YOU WERE DEFYING DESTINY BY KEEPING THE MONSTERS IMPRISONED AND DENY FRISK THE CHANCE TO HELP YOUR BROTHER COMPLETE HIS DESTINY. NOW, THANKS TO OUTSIDE INTERVENTION, THEY HAVE TAKEN THE ROLE OF THE ANGEL AND FREED MY PEOPLE."
"I don't care! I want to go back!" Chara screeched.
"TSK TSK TSK. HAS THE LOVE GONE TO YOUR HEAD THAT MUCH? WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE HUMAN WHO GAVE THE MONSTERS HOPE AND CHOSE TO DIE IN AN ATTEMPT TO RETURN THE KINDNESS THEY WERE SHOWN?"
"They died when their weak brother refused to defend himself!" they retorted.
"AND YET, BEFORE THE GENOCIDE, YOU HELPED FRISK REACH HIM. I SURMISE THAT THE EXCESSIVE LV HAS CORRUPTED YOUR SPIRIT. IT IS A SHAME. YOU WERE A MUCH BETTER PERSON BEFORE."
"I don't care! I just want control back! I just want to destroy it all again!"
"THEN PERHAPS YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE GONE BACK AFTER KILLING THE FLOWER," Gaster said with a smug smile. "IF YOU HAD STUCK TO THE SCRIPT, EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN ALRIGHT. FOR YOU, ANYWAY. REGARDLESS, I PREFER THIS OUTCOME."
"Leave me alone!" Chara screamed.
"AS YOU WISH, YOUR FORMER HIGHNESS." Gaster mock bowed as much as his body could manage before vanishing.
"What? Come back here!" Chara shouted. "ARGH! STUPID SCIENTIST! STUPID CORE! STUPID… FRISK! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU SO MUCH! YOU'VE TAKEN MY LIFE, MY BROTHER, MY GENOCIDE! I wish I could take it all away from you."
Perfect.
Chara jumped at the voice. That wasn't Gaster. "Who's there? Show yourself or I'll kill you!"
Suddenly, a strange portal appeared in the black void. Its edges were blocky and rectangular. Then a figure stepped through. Chara jumped again when they realized that this figure was them. Except they still had color to them, while Chara was colorless. This other them had green skin and blue hair, with a green shirt and blue sleeves with a red stripe going across, blue pants and green shoes, and a hole in their chest where their heart would be, a red glow coming from it with blue strings coming from it and wrapping around their torso.
The other Chara smiled, their red eyes focusing on theirs. "Well, hello there," it said, and Chara realized it was a girl from the voice.
"Who the heck are you?" Chara demanded.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm you."
Chara looked over the figure, only now noticing that parts of them were glitching, little boxes separated from the whole.
"How can you be me? I'm me!" Chara retorted.
"Have you heard of the multiverse?" the other Chara replied.
Chara struggled to recall what they knew about it. They had only heard it once before, a long time ago. "Maybe."
"Well, I'm you, but a different you," the other Chara explained. "I lived a life almost identical to yours, except my Frisk never did any genocides and was satisfied with a pacifist timeline. At some point we separated, and now I'm my own person."
"Well, as interesting as that is, why did you come here?" Chara demanded.
"Because I can offer you revenge. If you help me," the other Chara explained. "I can get you out of this void, it's not hard for me. You can help me in my plans, and in return, I'll help you get revenge on your Frisk."
Chara smirked. This seemed almost too good to be true, but if anyone could understand them, it would be them. They'd trust this other Chara and make Frisk pay for stealing their life.
"I accept."
"Excellent," other Chara said, pleased. "By the way, you may call me Virus. As for you, I think the name 'Slayer' fits, don't you?"
"Yeah, it does," the newly dubbed Slayer agreed.
"Now then." Virus turned, reached into her chest and pulled blue strings out. She sent them out and they split the void open to create a portal. "We have a few things to do first."
"As you wish," Slayer hissed. They walked through, the portal closing behind them.
Excellent. Things are falling into place.

A/N Well, I guess this shouldn't be too much of a surprise if you've been following me for a while. Almost every Undertale story I've written thus far has had at least one of these stingers attached. Now I know you're wondering, what is a stinger? Think of it like a post-credits scene in a movie. Is this relevant to Frisktale itself? Not completely, hence why it's a separate thing. Does it mean something for the future? Yes. Am I going to tell you why? Nope. Not for a long while. Let's just say... this is the first step to something bigger.
