Hello everyone and welcome to this story. I gotta admit that I only write this Character Profile because of reading and seeing something from Warhammer 40k about one of the coolest, my most favourite and an underrated Space Marine Chapter up to date, The Carcharodon, an enigmatic fleet based Chapter that is very mysterious and inexplicable and yet, are notable for being berserkers in battle in a more calm and methodical approach that would make Khorne feel utterly seething in frustration at how goddamned boring they are that mock what a berserker is supposed to be but I like it because they are calm, controlled and tranquil while still rage inducing berserkers that actually shuts up for once.
And of course, this is another inspiration from an author from Wattpad which you can see in the disclaimer below where, if you don't want to spoil, it is basically what will happen if Spider Man is born in Akame ga Kill and wouldn't you know it, it has tons of spiders.
Anyway, I'm not done with making more Character Profiles and while you may think that making Character Profiles is cringed, I tell you that you're cringed and that if you think that I'm cringed, then why don't you do something like making a story and see how easy it is for you.
Before we get started, I would like to say that if I were to write RWBY, I would like to write when it isn't thrown into the toilet from the likes of the next volumes and return the days when it is an animation about girls fighting monsters and fighting each other with the fandom being more niche, nuanced and small, rather than the big, bloated and toxic fandom that it has become.
Looking at you, Wattpad and the many authors who constantly create this absolutely and controversial piece of plot of (Y/N) being a bullied and belittled loser who gets his shit kicked in, angst and brood about how miserable he is where he doesn't have powers in a world full of superpowers and that everyone has become psychotic dirtbags and a whole lot of being obsessed over revenge.
And revenge without substance is cringed.
Well, anyway, as always, enjoy.
Or not because some of you would complain or something.
Disclaimer: I do not own Akame ga Kill and 'The Web of Corruption ( Akame ga Kill x Male Reader )' by '_Neopolitan_'. They belong to their respective owners.
Enjoy.
Character Name: The Carcharodon (Real name largely unknown and unimportant to his persona)
Title/Alias: The Carcharodon (Derived from the genus of Great White Sharks,Carcharodon carcharias, reflecting his predatory nature and brutal efficiency)
Age: Estimated to be in his late 20s to early 30s. His appearance is obscured by armor, making his exact age difficult to discern, but his movements suggest someone in their physical prime, yet not overly youthful.
Gender: Male (Assumed based on societal norms and character presentation, though his identity is so shrouded it's not definitively confirmed).
Physical Appearance:
Armour: The Carcharodon is defined by his imposing, silver armour. It is highly polished and reflects light brilliantly, giving it a menacing sheen and a slightly otherworldly appearance. The armour appears to be a full plate suit, covering him head to toe.
Helmet: The most striking feature is his helmet. It completely encases his head, leaving no visible skin. It's crafted from the same silver metal as the rest of the armour, and aggressively spiked along the brow and sides. The visor is a single, horizontal slit that glows with an unsettling, bright yellow light. This glow seems to emanate from within, adding to the enigmatic and potentially non-human impression.
Coat: He wears a long, heavy grey coat over his armour. This coat is dark and practical, appearing to be made of thick, durable material. It contrasts with the shiny silver of the armour, creating a layered and intimidating silhouette.
Armour Plates: Scattered plates of the same silver metal are strategically plastered onto his coat. These are most prominent on his hands (forming gauntlets), forearms and wrists, and the left shoulder. These plates are not just for show; they are clearly functional armour additions, and the plates on the shoulders and wrists are notably spiked, further emphasizing his dangerous nature.
Build: Even under the armour and coat, it's clear The Carcharodon is physically massive. He stands tall and broad, his movements suggesting immense strength and weight. He is not bulky or cumbersome despite his size, but rather moves with a surprising, albeit silent, agility.
Weapon: Central to his terrifying image is his enormous sword. It's as large and imposing as he is, appearing to be a greatsword of exceptional size. The metal is dark and seems incredibly heavy. The sheer size of the weapon in his hands, along with the ease with which he wields it, is a testament to his superhuman strength.
Personality Traits:
Silent and Stoic: The Carcharodon never speaks. Not a word, not a grunt, nothing. This utter silence contributes significantly to his mystique and the unsettling robotic quality he projects. He conveys everything through his actions.
Brutal and Fearsome: His reputation precedes him. He is known for his extreme brutality, leaving a trail of horrifically mangled corpses in his wake when targeting corrupt officials or bandits. This brutality is not for pleasure, but seems to be a calculated, almost clinical display of force.
Relentless and Determined: Once The Carcharodon sets his sights on a target, he is utterly relentless. He pushes through obstacles, ignores injuries (both his and those he inflicts on himself in his berserker state), and pursues his goal with unwavering determination.
Abnormal Strength and Speed: His physical capabilities defy human limitations. He exhibits superhuman strength, capable of feats that would be impossible for a normal person - lifting and wielding his colossal sword with ease, crushing armour, and tearing through obstacles. Despite his size, he moves with surprising speed, able to close distances and strike with blinding swiftness.
Endurance and Durability: He possesses an incredible resilience. He can withstand injuries that would cripple or kill others, shrugging off blows and seemingly ignoring pain. This durability further reinforces the idea that he is something more than human.
Vengeful Towards the Empire (Implied): His targets are consistently corrupt officials, bandits working for the Empire, and those who prey on the innocent. This targeted brutality strongly suggests a deep-seated hatred for the Empire and its corruption, hinting at a potential personal tragedy or grievance.
Protective of the Innocent (Paradoxical Heroism): Despite his terrifying methods, The Carcharodon demonstrably protects the innocent. Stories circulate of him rescuing villagers from bandits, saving travelers from Danger Beasts, and freeing slaves from Imperial nobles. This unexpected heroism creates a complex and paradoxical image, making him both feared and respected.
Enigmatic and Mysterious: Little to nothing is known about his true identity or background. He is a ghost in the machine, appearing suddenly, enacting his brutal justice, and disappearing without a trace. This mystery fuels his legend and makes him even more intimidating.
Automaton-like/Robotic Stance: His silence and rigid posture contribute to the impression that he is more machine than man. His movements, while powerful, can sometimes appear stiff and mechanical outside of combat, further adding to his unsettling aura.
Background (Fragmented and Rumored):
Unknown Origins: Absolutely nothing concrete is known about The Carcharodon's past. Where he came from, his real name, his motivations beyond vengeance, all are shrouded in mystery.
Rumors of Imperial Experimentation: Some whispers suggest he might be a failed or escaped experiment of the Empire. His superhuman abilities and unusual armour could be attributed to some form of unethical Imperial research. This could explain his animosity towards the Empire and his almost inhuman capabilities.
Possible Elite Soldier: Another theory is that he was once an elite soldier of the Empire who suffered some horrific experience (torture, betrayal, witnessing atrocities) that broke him and drove him to become The Carcharodon. His armour could be repurposed Imperial gear, modified to enhance his already formidable skills.
Vengeance-Driven: The most common belief is that The Carcharodon is driven by a deep, personal vengeance against the Empire. The brutal nature of his attacks and the specific targeting of corrupt officials suggest he is righting some profound wrong.
No Connections (As far as anyone knows): He appears to operate entirely alone. There are no known allies or associates. He is a solitary force of nature.
Fighting Style:
Silent Berserker: His fighting style is a terrifying blend of raw power and silent, calculated brutality. He enters a berserker state in combat, unleashing a storm of attacks with his massive sword, but does so with an eerie silence.
Range Inducing (Conceptually): While he wields a melee weapon, his sheer presence and reputation induce fear and hesitation in his opponents. This fear can be considered a form of "range" – enemies are often too terrified to even approach him effectively.
Overwhelming Force: He relies on overwhelming force. His strength, speed, and durability allow him to simply power through defenses and attacks, making him incredibly difficult to stop.
Precise Brutality: Despite the berserker nature, his attacks are not simply wild flailing. They are precise in their brutality, aimed to inflict maximum damage and terror. He seems to know exactly where to strike to cripple and destroy his enemies.
Relationship with Akame ga Kill World:
Feared by the Empire: The Empire views The Carcharodon as a nightmarish threat, a symbol of rebellion and uncontrolled chaos. His attacks on corrupt officials and bandit groups disrupt their power structures and instill fear in their ranks. They would likely dedicate significant resources to eliminate him, but his elusiveness and power make him a difficult target.
Intrigue for Night Raid: Night Raid would be immensely interested in The Carcharodon as a potential ally. His strength and shared animosity towards the Empire make him a valuable asset. However, his enigmatic nature, brutal methods, and lack of communication make him difficult to approach or understand. They would be wary of his unpredictable nature but undeniably drawn to his power.
Potential Revolutionary Army Ally: Similar to Night Raid, the Revolutionary Army would recognize The Carcharodon's potential. His independent actions, while helpful, are not coordinated. They might try to recruit him, or at least establish some form of communication to direct his rage more strategically against the Empire. His lack of communication and unpredictable nature would again be a challenge.
Other Relevant Information:
Yellow Visor Glow: The source and purpose of the yellow glow in his visor are unknown. It could be a technological feature of his helmet, a side effect of whatever experiment he might have undergone, or something else entirely. It adds to his mysterious and potentially non-human aura.
Sword Name (Optional): If desired, his sword could be given a name to further enhance its legendary status within the world. Something thematically fitting like "Griefbringer," "Ironmaw," or "Silence."
The Carcharodon is a walking engine of destruction and vengeance, cloaked in mystery and silence. He is a force of nature, a terrifying paradox who embodies both brutality and a twisted form of justice. He is the nightmare that haunts the corrupt Empire, and a flicker of hope for the downtrodden, even if they tremble in his presence as much as their oppressors.
Well, that is as far as the Character Profile goes. If you likewise have anymore ideas, let me know in the comments below.
Anyway...
Ciao...
