It wasn't until Danny was stable - soft and heavy under a haze of painkillers - that he let himself think about the last few weeks in detail.

Nicholas Angel and Danny Butterman receive a call about an escaped swan from a man with a very unfortunate name. On their way to help, they find out they have one thing in common.

If there was one of his colleague Nicholas still had a hard time getting along with, it was definitely Andy. Not The Andies, and surprisingly enough, it wasn't Wainwright. But even a year after the events in Sandford, Andrew Cartwright was still the one cop in the station he knew the least. It wasn't like Andy was trying to be obnoxious or avoid getting close, he was just quiet.

The NWA is gone. the village is peaceful and Nicholas and Danny are finally together When a fatal crash disrupts the town and leaves a familiar red headed child orphaned, it leaves a taste in Nicks mouth that he's not sure about. something tells him he can't let that kid go though foster home after foster home. he wants to adopt him but thats a big responsibility.

Summary: AU! What if Nicholas and Danny were brothers... and Nicholas grew up in Sandford... would he be oblivious to the strange going on's of the town, or will he be able to see in between the cracks? Rated T at the moment, may go up later depending..

Danny Butterman comes across Michael in a mess of his own making. Seeing a broken version of his younger self, he sets out to help him.

That's what it comes down to for both of them, really: need. The need for an outlet, an escape from everything that's been going on around them. Nicholas/Doris.

Nicholas still couldn't figure out whose fault it was: The understaffed construction workers? The all-too helpful bartender? The strangely liberal clergywoman? Whoever was to blame, and however they got to the end, he remembered exactly how it had started: a handful of dust.

When Danny finds a ring hidden in the closet, Nicholas has an important question to ask him.

Set after the sea mine explosion. Danny is recovering and Nicholas wants to look after him but things don't go to plan. Pain, angst, fear and two confused guys not really able to express their emotions. What could possibly go wrong? Nicholas/Danny. Inc. male homosexuality, just to be clear! Sometimes you pull through by a pure miracle. Sometimes... there is no such miracle. Danny has to learn it the hard way. WARNING: major character death.

"Blurry. Everything was a blur to Nicholas Angel. His head felt like he had been in one more sea mine explosion, and consciousness just wouldn't come back to him at once". Sometimes you have to face the consequences of what you did in your past, Sometimes it's not only your future that they threaten. Warning: violence.

"Everything froze. Time itself froze for a moment. Or maybe it was Danny's heart that did, as he could swear it had stopped right there". A slightly different take on the scene close to the end of the movie.
