Chapter 1552 The Queen of the desert

Draco was with Mila going towards the port. They had another request and this one is for a treasure hunt.
They saw a treasure Hunter looking blonde woman there.
"Hey your the ones that accepted the request right?" She waves.
"Yeah, i'm Mila and this is Draco."
"I'm Rita, great that you could all come." She said.
"So what's the treasure you mentioned in your request?" He said.
"Oh that. It's a special one inside a temple in Kedje." Rita said.
"Kedje, that far." Mila was surprised.
"That's right, it's exciting." She said.
"Why do you want the treasure there?" Draco asked.
"Oh to sell... I mean to put it in a museum." She said.
Draco sighs since it had to be another one of those people.
"But I would really need your help. I can't do it without you." She said.
"Fine, you'll be in too much trouble." Draco said.
Even if they don't go she will still try and get hurt.
"Great, come on i'll show you to the ship." Rita takes them with her.
"Well this will be a interesting adventure." Mila said.
"But be careful as these types of adventures tend to have traps." Draco said.
Mila nodded since it seems he had experienced with temples like that.
They went to the ship and traveled to Kedje. After they arrived the sun was harsher there with most of the place being a desert.
Mila and the others came out of the port. "Wow it's really hot here."
"Let's head to the nearest town." Draco said.
"Aren't you hot being with a coat?" Rita asked.
"Not really." He said.
A perk being a cryomancer.
As they walked forward Rita then noticed his puzzle.
"Hey that's pretty interesting, like it could belongs to the pyramids here." She said.
He looks. "Oh this I got it a long time ago."
Mila looks. "I wonder what made it so special."
They went to the town and looked around the place for anything.
Draco looks on his own and a old man saw his puzzle.
"That item." The man said.
Draco looks at him. "Excuse me."
"It's like something Queen Asenath would wear. Where did you find it?"
"Oh the puzzle, it was found buried near my land. So I wear it for protection." Draco said.
"I see, be careful as the Queen set traps for those that would dare steal her treasures."
Draco frowns. 'Rita you better not lead to your death.'
After saying goodbye to the old man he found Mila.
"I managed to get a map of the place." She said.
"They're just selling maps." Draco said.
"Hey it gives up a chance to find that temple." Mila said.
Draco has a bad feeling as this seems intentional.
They went to find Rita and Mila showed the map.
"This is it, we'll be able to find the treasure." Rita said.
"Don't get too excited. There might be dangers." He said.
"But this is our chance. I want to make a big moment." Rita said.
She goes and they had to follow her, after moving through the desert they found the pyramid and stared at it.
"Okay guys, let's go." Rita said.
"It seems this means a lot to you Rita." Mila said.
"Well I want to make my own mark on the world." She goes inside.
They went inside the pyramid and looked around, Draco noticed a hidden board and opens it revealing stairs.
"Of course it had to be underground." He said.
The trio went down as Draco used a torch to light up the place.
"Well where could it be?" Mila said.
They went inside a big room and looked around. Rita goes forward but then a trap door making her fall as she screams.
"Rita!" They went to the hole.
"Ow, I think I sprained my ankle." She said.
"Don't worry we'll find a way down. Theres gotta be a way down-"
Mila stops when Draco takes out a rope.
"Oh climb down, that works too." She shrugs.
He ties it to a pillar and they went down to find Rita on the ground. He healed her sprained and she slowly stood up.
Then they noticed a big set of doors in front of them.
"That must be where the treasure is." Rita said.
"Then why did a trap door lead it here?" Draco pointed it out.
It makes no sense to send someone to where the treasure is, even if they're hurt they can just recover and take it.
They went to the door and entered the room, inside was a woman with black hair with royal jewelry and wrapping around her body.
"Wait who are you?" Mila said.
"I am Asenath."
"That's impossible!" Rita said.
"How is she alive?!" Mila said.
"She's a mummy." Draco frowns.
"I'm more than just a mere mummy."
Many other mummy women came and some looked fresher.
"I've absorbed the life force of these thieves to gain my beauty. Now I will be able to gain the power to become even stronger as i'll become perfect soon."
"You won't get away with it." Mila said.
Asenath then looks at the puzzle. "Where did you get that kind of artifact?"
"From my own trips." He said.
"That belongs only to a leader." She said.
Many of the mummies attacked but the two fights fend them off with the women shooting curses at the duo.
Draco blocks them with his ice before Mila throws bombs making the mummies grunt.
He takes out his zanpakuto as it goes to shikai slashing them.
"We need to get rid of them." Mila throws more bombs as they exploded taking out many.
Many of the girls grabbed on to Draco as they started to drain his life force. He grunted before his puzzle reacted sending them back.
Asenath got surprised and saw Yami Draco was there.
'What? This power...'
She saw the image of a pharaoh in front of her before it went back to Yami Draco.
She stood up with a smile. "Well, he will not become my slave. I've decided he will become my husband."
"Husband?!" The two girls said.
Asenath smirks staring at Yami Draco who had a frown. "He has the aura of a true king. So he's perfect."
She goes towards Yami Draco who clashes with her as they stared at each other. She summons a sandstorm and the puzzle protected his user.
"You think you can defeat me." Yami Draco said.
He sends a blizzard to stop the sandstorm canceling it out.
More mummies came but then the Pillar women came surprising them.
"What?!" Asenath said.
"Well looks like we got the problem." Qree said.
But then they saw a light behind the throne.
"Wait, that's not a dark orb." Mila said.
Yami Draco looks and saw the Red Stone of Aja.
The real Draco got surprised to see that. 'It can't be. That stone was lost a long time ago.'
"So that's how she's able to get powerful, you've been using the stone." Yami Draco looks at Asenath.
"Yes, i've found it and with the stone I was able to gain even more power." She said.
But then her true form appeared as she's as green as the other mummies, Yami Draco hits her back and she grunted.
"It seems you ran out of time." He smirks.
The Pillar women took care of the mummies and Asenath runs towards the stone. But then someone shoots her in the back.
"Huh?" Most got confused.
Draco changes back and looks behind him to see someone new. He was wearing a black cape that wraps around his shoulders with the inside being red, he has a black shirt, blue pants and boots. The shirt has a symbol of a skull and crossbones.
His hair is brown that goes to his neck and covers part of his right eye with both being blue and he's a handsome guy.
"Who are you?" Draco said.
Rita blushes hard seeing the guy.
"I am Tomio Harlock. And I came to see the legendary Team Light." He said.
Draco nodded and he looks at the Asenath, He charges up and uses the evil containment catching her as she screams. Mila sees that and takes out a bottle to help Draco seal her inside of it.
Draco gets the red stone and looks Tomio. "Why did you come?"
"I came to see if your team is the one for me to join." He said.
"I see, Sota's group will be the one to accept you." Draco said.
"I understand, but are you leading as a individual?" Tomio asked.
Draco got surprised.
"I protect individuality and free will. A team should be working for what they want and not for what the leader wants. As that's what makes us all human." Tomio said.
Draco stares at him and smiles. "Your a interesting guy. We all have our own dreams as we helped the innocent."
Tomio smiles at the response.
They went out as Tomio showed the treasure he found.
"You can have this as the payment." He said.
Rita looks at him. "Say do you think I can join you?"
"For what reason?" He said.
"I want to go on a trip and see many treasures. Plus your pretty handsome." She smiles.
"If you want then you can come." He said.
"What is your dream Tomio?" Draco asked.
He looks up. "To do my own path. And maybe find my own father... Captain Harlock."
That name made Draco curious as he's clearly a pirate but different from the ones he knows but he can tell this Captain Harlock is a legend.
