Chapter 1617 Izuku's Promise
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
At the mansion Draco watches through a window Ichigo and Yui clashing swords together.
"He really want to train with her the most." Draco said.
During the time off Ichigo would visit and train with Yui, and she doesn't mind as she's not like those girls that expect more expansive stuff.
"At least they're getting stronger together." Draco said.
He saw Kazuo go outside.
"He's still in that other base training to be a official KND." He said.
Kazuo kept going outside as he saw someone sitting at a park bench.
It was a clown but unlike others he's sad, with a brown coat, hat with ragged pants. He's the sad clown type of person.
"Hey Chunko." Kazuo goes to his side.
Chunko looks at him and nodded before looking forward.
Kazuo frowns since Chunko is a clown but he's not the super joy ones he finds in his town.
"Well don't worry Chunko you'll get your time." Kazuo tapped his shoulder as a small glow came out of it.
Meanwhile
Shiro was back at his world as he saw the city Musutafu, the place where he grew up.
"It's been so long." He said.
Shiro looks at a device that was tracker.
"Yes, I can finally find her." He smiles.
"Teacher, i'll find her in your place." Shiro is reminded of when Izuku said there was one girl he made a promise to find.
"If I can find her than we'll be able to help her."
He then saw a fight happening in the distance and goes towards it. "What's going on?"
He stops to see many criminals down and defeated.
Standing there was a adult Mirio Togata, wearing his costume as he smiles.
"Mirio." Shiro said.
Mirio saw Shiro and smiles. "Shiro!"
"I didn't expect to see you here." Shiro said.
"It's great to see again. It seems your still following your path as a hero. I can see Izuku would be happy if he saw you now." Mirio said.
His words brought a smile to Shiro as he remembers his mentor.
"Now, we should see each other again. But how..." Mirio goes to leave.
"Wait, Mirio we found her." Shiro said.
"Huh?" He looks at him.
"We found Eri."
Mirio's eyes widened.
"We can finally get her out of that pod since we got the cure." Shiro said.
"Then what are we waiting for?!" Mirio questions.
The two went towards the location, they arrived at a cave and saw Ochako, Tsu and Momo waving at them. Nearby was a truck the girls got for them to take Eri.
"Glad you both came." Momo said.
"Yes, let's go get Eri." Shiro said.
"They knew?" Mirio said.
"I gave them a head start before coming here." Shiro said.
The group went inside of the cave and saw a bunch of rocks blocking the path.
"Let me help." Mirio uses his quirk to phase through before making the rocks fall down.
They then saw a pod and Shiro runs to it.
"It's her." Shiro said.
They all looked and saw Eri inside sleeping being the same age as she was all those years ago.
"Eri." Mirio mutters in joy
"Let's get her out!" Ochako said.
"No, she's still sick. We must carry it back to Leonidas so that we can cure her." Shiro said.
Shiro then picks up her capsule, his sensors detected something.
"We gotta hurry, some of Tomura's goons are on they're way!"
"Then let's move." Mirio said
They rushed outside and arrived at a truck before they went inside activating the pod back online.
Shiro drives forward as they looked around.
Spiked teeth came down making Ochako gasp.
"It's Moonfish!"
The villain came out as he grunts chasing them.
Momo uses her quirk to make small spiked balls and throws them
He stabs them with more teeth. "Give me the girl."
Mirio frowns. "We won't let him have Eri."
Shiro nodded as he let Tsu drive and he faces the villain.
"I made a promise to Izuku, that I would protect Eri in his place. And I will make that happen!" He uses One for all.
He charges forward as Moonfish attacks him. He breaks through his teeth.
"What?!" Moonfish got shocked.
Shiro appears in front of him.
He charges up as Moonfish tries to attack but Mirio attacks him too.
"Now Shiro!" Mirio said.
"Texas Smash!" Shiro punches Moonfish in the face.
He grunted before getting sent flying away becoming a star in the sky.
Shiro landed on the truck and they saw some Nomus coming but something fast knocks them back.
Someone landed on the truck, Shiro looks to see Ingenium.
"Tenya?" Shiro said.
He takes off the helmet to show the adult Tenya who smiles. "I heard Eri was here. So I rushed as fast as I could."
Shiro nodded as the group headed back to the base.
Later
Eri wakes up in bed and she looks to see the girls, Tenya and Mirio smiling at her.
"Eri!"
"Mirio?" Eri questions "Ochako? Tsu? Momo? Tenya?"
"Yes it's us." Momo said.
"All grown up, but yes, kero." Tsu said.
She smiles seeing them as she remembers.
Flashback
She was sick and coughs a lot, so she was inside the capsule as she saw her friends who were teens that time.
"Don't worry Eri! You'll be okay!" Ochako said.
"That's right, you'll come out soon enough." Tenya said.
"Okay." She was nervous.
Izuku looks at her. "We'll be there waiting."
She smiles as the pod closes.
Flashback ends
She then remembers someone. Eri then starts looking around.
"Where's Deku?" She asks
They frowned hearing that.
Shiro came. "Hello Eri, my name is Shiro."
"S-Shiro?" She questions timidly
"Yes, theres something I should show you." He said.
They went to the city as Eri was in his arms.
She saw a statue of Izuku for a memorial. It was of him in his hero costume smiling and in a pose.
"This is Izuku's statue. He passed away defeating All For One once and for all. He's no longer here." Shiro told her the truth.
Eri got shocked hearing that, as her friend was now gone before she even woke up. Eri then starts to cry
He holds her. "I know it's hard."
Shiro hugs her gently allowing her to cry into his shirt.
"He promised we would see each other again." She said.
"I know Eri. And I promised him that I would find you." Shiro said.
"Y-you did?" She sniffs
He nodded. "Yes, i'm here for you."
She nodded but looks down, Shiro sets her down for a bit.
Shiro then saw something on Izuku's statue and goes towards it as Eri watches.
"What's this?"
He pushes a hidden button on the side as the statue shoots a dust that was pink up.
Eri looks at it turns into small cherry blossom like petals.
"Eri, once you wake up, we'll be there to see the cherry blossoms together. You'll love them." She remembers what Izuku told her.
The group were near as they watched with smiles.
"Amazing!" Ochako said.
"Yeah." Mirio said.
"Izuku, was this your last gift to Eri." Tenya smiles.
Many of the city looked at the scene and smiled with some of Izuku's friends watching too. The teachers that are still near went to see as a old man Aizawa watches.
"Well Midoriya, your really are something." He smiles a bit.
"I always keep my promises!"
Eri starts to tear up again. "Izuku!"
It was a cherry blossom rain, coming down to the statue as it glows with it's smile.
Shiro rubs her head, he smiles as his mentor kept his promise to Eri, since the statue was his way of him being there.
Eri hugs him since Izuku finally managed to do what he wanted for her.
'Master Izuku, i'll watch over Eri, you can count on it.'
Note: Eri is here in the same age as she's in the show, because she got a sickness that caused her to be in the pod to keep her alive as Shiro had Leonidas to heal her.
