Chapter 1494 New Recruits of the Saviors
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
At the Dynamic Saviors mansion, the members went on with they're lives as they were enjoying the free time.
They had a new member and it was Engineer from Young Blood world.
"Well it's good to be able to join another team." She said.
Leonidas heard she was free agent again and he asked if she wanted to join the Dynamic Saviors and she accepted since it was made with her boyfriends help.
"The members are really nice, I hope we can get more members in the future." She said.
Atom Ant jumps to her shoulder. "Hey how are you doing?"
"Oh hey Atom, just doing a few things." She said.
"You should are Qwark, he likes to be the center of the news." Atom said.
"What are you going to do?" She said.
Super Sparkle passes by. "Hi."
"Hey Sparkle." They said.
"You know Megamind told me he once was in a super villain group." Sparkle said.
"Really?" Atom said.
"Must be why he's got experience working together." Engineer said.
"Well we have a lot of work to do." Sparkle said.
They saw a news report of Black Web catching criminals from the street.
"It's been going well." Engineer said.
Someone came through the door and Atom said: "Oh it must be the new member."
They got curious and they saw it was Infectious Lass as she smiles.
"Who are you?" Sparkle asked.
"I'm Infectious Lass." She takes a inhaler and breaths.
"Your sick?" Engineer siad.
"My powers, I can spread many diseases and other sicknesses, i'm also immune to them." She said.
They got surprised and Engineer said: "Good thing some of us is not affected."
Shuri came. "I thought she could be useful, as she can be deadly."
"Thank you." Infectious Lass smiles as someone liking her powers.
"Well some of us can work with her, even Neutro." Engineer said.
"Plus, I wouldn't complain about her powers when... Boogerman is part of the team." Sparkles felt more disgusted with him.
"So where could I stay?" Infectious Lass asked.
"We have a room prepared for you." Shuri said.
She goes forward and Hazmat saw her as the two stared at each other.
"Hey he's kinda like me." She waves.
He narrows his eyes and crawls up a wall to get to his room.
"Don't mind Hazmat, he doesn't tend to be social like the others." Shuri said.
"Wasn't there a guy that wanted to join?" Sparkle said.
"What Bouncing Boy? Yeah he wanted to join, but I picked our friend Infectious Lass since I can see more use of her powers used right." Shuri said.
Honestly she can't see the use of Bouncing Boy, he's literally a ball, he can hit maybe someone hard, but it's not good. After Battle Beast he would get hurt even fighting him and she can't take that risk.
Flashback
Shuri watches Bouncing Boy bounce around hitting against the walls and a few targets. She stares at the scene and frowns.
He stops as he and Infectious Lass stepped forward to look at her.
"So, who's joining?" Bouncing Boy asked.
"Let me ask you something Bouncing Boy? Aren't you a member of the Legion of Superheroes?" Shuri asked.
"Yes, but I can help with your team, since even Batman sees you guys are a big team." He said.
Shuri sighs. "The new member is... Infectious Lass."
She smiles and Bouncing Boy got surprised. "But why? She got rejected by us."
"Which is a mistake, she's more useful, her powers have more room to grow. I'm sorry but I can't. I just can't let you get in since this is more dangerous and even our non superpowered members have the training and experience to keep up, i'm sorry Bouncing Boy."
He looks down and leaves as Infectious Lass sees him leave, she feels a little sorry but she can understand what Shuri is saying as theres some guys that are dangerous.
Flashback ends
Shuri couldn't let him join in good faith, he might have been a legion member, but that doesn't he's a good choice for the team, like when compared to Qwark, Sparkle and the others, he just doesn't have the same experience as them, even more when he's young, Infectious Lass is a teen too being 16 but at least she can see the potential in her abilities.
"Well what do we do now?" Infectious Lass asked.
"Theres no crimes today, it just better you get to know the others." She said.
Infectious Lass nodded as she can't wait to be in a real superhero team.
"Well she's excited." Engineer said.
"She must have really wanted to be in a Superhero team." Atom said.
"Well not many can have that chance." Sparkle said.
With Retaliation
Retaliation was at a house since she's doing yet another job.
She's living with this guy and his father lives here and he's always drooling. Which makes her disgusted, she saw a used towel since his father used it.
"Ugh." She takes it away to replace that thing.
Then her "husband" came seeing her change it.
"Why are you changing the towel?" The man questions.
"Because it was used." She said.
"So what? It's still good." The guy said.
"Your kidding, your dad drooled all over it." She frowns.
"Do you expect me to clean my face with a towel used by an old man?"
"But he's family." He said before he starts to lecture her.
"Hold it." She stops him. "Family? If my parents would have done the same you wouldn't touch the towel they used."
"Well no but they're strangers." He said
"And your dad is a stranger to me too. He didn't raise and he doesn't share DNA with me. I'm not married to him, he is nothing to me." She said.
"You married into my family." He said.
Retaliation stares at him. "What does that supposed to be mean? Are my family strangers to me now too?"
"Well yeah. You took on my last name." He said.
She stares at him before punching the guy in the face. The blow breaks his nose making him cry out in pain.
"They're strangers? Theres something wrong with you! My parents loved me and i'm supposed to ignore them and care about your stupid father! A disgusting old man that should stop drooling! You should be lucky I didn't send him to a old home! I'm not a maid, my parents will always be more important to me than that geezer, I never met him after we got together! He's just a drooling disgusting old man to me and that will never change!"
She then punches him again, he cried from the punches and she shows the marriage certificate surprising him.
"I never gave this shit in." She rips it in two.
This shocks him badly.
"You actually thought I loved you? Ha! Your mom and sister payed me to teach you a lesson and it seems your too dense no matter what I say! So this is a lost cause." She goes to get her stuff.
"Wait?!" He shouts but she ignores him.
She gets her bag ready and goes outside. "Goodbye loser."
He tries to go after her but he trips on some of his dad's drool that was missed. She drives away and he saw thay Retaliation left him.
He curses in anger after she left the house.
Later
He goes to see his mother as she frowns at him with his sister at her side.
"Mom, I can't believe you hired her. Why would you do that?"
"You must be joking, didn't you learn anything, it's always what you want, you never understand what others want, do you honestly expect her to treat her own family like strangers because she married you. If so I am disappointed in you."
"I did nothing wrong!" He said in protest.
"Yes you did. She has no reason to reject her family to only take care of your father. I never did that to my parents." She said.
"You didn't?" He said confused.
"No, did you expect that, my father even agreed with my mother saying his parents were gross, so you have no excuse." She said.
This shocked him since he never thouught of that.
"Do you honestly still believe you have no fault. It's normal she would be grossed out, your father is not her father, he will never be her father, she had a good family so theres no reason she would give up on them, you are the one in fault!" His mother told him.
"That's right." His sister said.
"Your father is a stranger to her, and you expect her to mess with his germs, he might have raised you but he's an old man. So if you have a real wife later think about what they want instead of what you want. Now get out of my house." The mother said.
"What?! But mom! You can't just kick me out like that!" He protests.
"You have your own house, go live there. Were you going to sell it to save up on money, well too bad live there." She said.
After that both mother and sister forces him out of the house and locks the door. He walks back to his house looking down, he sits at his couch and looks around, he was now all alone.
"What is wrong with them?" He questions.
He looks at a mirror and saw it's not them, but him.
He then tries to make a call to Retaliation and she said: "What? What do you want now?"
"Can we start over?" He asks.
She was silent. "Your kidding? This was a job theres no starting over from us."
"Please don't say that!" He begs.
"I... Never... Loved... You." She said to make him understand.
"N-no." He said stunned in disbelief.
"How about this, if you learned your lesson use it for your next wife, I will not pretend to be something I wasn't, it was your fault that you couldn't understand, goodbye!" She ends the call.
He then starts crying.
"It's all my fault, why did I ever even suggest use the same towel as my dad." He said.
Afterwards he was living miserably as he regrets everything that happened.
Note: The Dynamic Saviors got two members, Infectious Lass is from Legion of Superheroes, I think she's more useful than Bouncing Boy, like she has more potential since theres no real limits it's just how much she uses it, Shuri doesn't want Bouncing Boy since after Battle Beast the choices are experience or a good power, Bouncing Boy doesn't have that, he would get himself killed if Battle Beast came back, also the last scene is from Trouble Busters, while he did redeem himself in the original Retaliation would never go to him.
