Chapter 1620 The Promening
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
At the shelter many of the workers were walking around the hallways. These were the students and it was Prom night so many were getting ready for it.
Uzi was at her locker as some were saying she would be going alone like a loser.
She grunts before she heard a sound, Uzi looks and saw the Twins.
"Well they're better than nothing." She said.
Many of the guys looked and they're jaws dropped seeing the girls.
"Wow!"
"Who are they?"
The guys went gaga for then as they got the same hearts in they're visors.
The girls felt jealous seeing the two.
"What?"
"Okay how can they look that amazing?"
"I want to know how to get legs like those."
The Twins went to Uzi's side.
"Uzi, is everything okay?" Right asked.
"We can assist you?" Left leans forward.
Uzi frowns and pushes her back. "Not that close. Just need to check on something."
A girl looks at Uzi. "If she goes with them at least she won't be ashamed of they're figure if they help become like them."
"Hey!" Uzi growls.
She drags the two away. "I have things to do."
At a office
Khan was having a meeting with Shiro.
"So your name is Kikaider?" Khan said.
"Yes, as I told you I am hero bot, to save people." Shiro said.
"I see, it seems you were made to protect others." Khan said.
"Of course." Shiro nodded. "I couldn't let others suffer even in this new world."
"Well thank you for looking after Uzi, she can be excentric. Even more with the destroy all humans thing." Khan said.
"Huh?" Shiro looks at him.
"But I know she needs is a little change of routine. Prom night is coming and those two girls don't seem to be very... Let's say good examples." Khan refers to Left and Right.
"Oh the twins, they're good ones as they follow my lead." Shiro said.
Khan thinks of something.
Later
Uzi went to her room but saw some the stuff she collected are gone and she stormed to Khan room as he puts the stuff inside a closet called NORI'S KOOKY INSANE STUFF.
He looks to see Uzi sulking before she looks at him with a glare. "My crazed ramblings! Stay outta my freaking room!"
"Personal space for a very alarming coping mechanisms isn't covered under a..." Khan consults his manual. "Non-optional family support structure."
She hits it away. "I'm sorry for being vulnerable for five seconds, okay!? You were never there for me. If you wanna help now, stay distant."
He didn't say anything.
"I'm going to talk to N." She goes but stops to see a child's skeleton wearing a dress. "What is this?!"
"Prom dress. Child's small. You're grounded from seeing those bad influencing murder drones." He said.
"Huh?" She looks at him.
"But, I talked to your teacher to find you classmates to go with tonight!" Khan said.
He opens the door to reveal Lizzy and Dolly.
"Sup, freak. Prepare to be popular." Lizzy said.
"I'm chaperoning." Khan puts on a bow.
Uzi screams seeing all of this.
Outside
Bladewolf was lying down on the snow alone, then he heard a sound.
"That fool let her escape." He said.
V came out as she goes towards the shelter. She then saw Bladewolf staring at her.
"Oh great, he left the dog here." She said.
"If you wish to attack you'll..."
Bladewolf then scanned something.
"What?" She said.
"Theres a strange signal inside." He looks at the shelter.
V smirks. "Well better go check." She goes inside as he followed her.
Inside the base
Uzi was at Doll's house, with a strange smell around the place making her a little creeped out.
Lizzy and Dolly were talking to each other about something.
"Hey, so, thanks for having me, but now that my dad thinks I'm here, I'm actually gonna-" She heads back but the door closes.
"You're hilarious." Lizzy then looks at Doll. "She's hilarious. You should get ready. You're gonna look so cute, in a brave way. Plus you'll impress your boyfriend."
"He's not my boyfriend!" Uzi said.
She turns around and Doll magically appears in front of her. Uzi got creeped out and looks down at a trash can next to Doll, which contains more missing persons posters.
"Ванная по коридору налево." Doll spoke in russian. (Bathroom is down the hall to the left.)
Uzi goes to the bathroom as the two waited.
"You know, her boy is pretty cute despite being two halves. I wonder how he got that look." Lizzy said.
Dolly tilted her head at that.
Uzi was now wearing a dress as she looks at a mirror while stopping her eyes.
"Easy, Robo-Satan. Not this mirror." She said but it breaks.
She climbs and heard Lizzy outside. "Dude, no one will notice she's missing. Just do your thing, and I'll let in V. We'll see you there."
"What the f-" She hears something else being a dripping noise.
She looks over and sees blood dripping from the tub. She goes to investigate and pulls back the curtain to find Doll's tub is filled with corpses and photos covered in blood.
She got disgusted and heard footsteps, she saw a vent and goes through it to escape.
Dolly came to see how Uzi escaped. "Как они по-русски любят говорить... Ой, я должна была предположить, что кто-то сможет убежать через вентиляцию, используя выброшенные зеркала как ступеньки." (As they say in Russian... Whoops, I should've predicted that someone could escape out of a ventilation shaft using discarded mirrors as stairs.)
Uzi was outside in the snow and runs but bumps into N wearing a suit.
"N?"
"Uzi?"
They talked over each other before they stopped.
"I think something bad-" Uzi said.
"I could help." N then walks off muttering under his breath. "But you probably don't want me..."
"No, I could use the help... of you... being there... with me..." Uzi said.
N rushes to her side. "Dapper buddies!"
At the prom Shiro was watching as he wears a suit. Many looked at him as he was holding a glass.
"What?" He said.
Many looked away from him.
Lizzy goes on stage. "Okay, listen up, nerds. We're doing this a little early, but since the entire prom court "mysteriously" disappeared, your queen by forfeit is uh, this."
V then comes on stage scaring everyone.
"Oh, we're gonna die!" A guy said.
"Easy, judgey bots, V is my friend. She's done with the murder or whatever. We've been hanging." Lizzy said.
"Yes, best friends. So easily manipulated..." V then noticed. "Prom Queen?" She looks at the crown. "Ugh..."
"So, forgive and forget, or I'll get my dad to dock your freakin' grades! And you can't sit with us, Rebecca." Lizzy told them.
"Fine, I forgive her, settle...!" Rebecca said.
Many started to clap for V.
"She's quite cute, though." A guy said.
"Clap harder, losers!" Lizzy said.
"Your dress is really cute!" Penny crowns V.
V was speechless.
Speech, speech!"
Khan tries to leave but the symbol of Absolute Solver blocks it.
"Not... the doors...!" Khan said.
"I'll kill everyone after? It's not vain, it's extra sinister..." V said.
Doll sees V go to the mic and prepared to use her Absolute Solver on her until Uzi and N came down.
"Ah ha! Unhand them, you fiend-" Uzi then saw everyone is staring at them awkwardly. "I'm confused."
"On second thought, you're way hotter than Doll! Run, idiot!" Lizzy said.
V looks at Doll stabbed her arm with a rod, many ran but the doors we're locked.
Shiro looks at the door and attacks it with a punch. He grunted before he saw the symbol try to destroy Penny but he managed to save her with a blast.
Doll walks towards V. "Привет, Ви." (Hello, V.)
She remembers when V killed her mother.
"Ладно, тебе всё понятно." (Anyway, you get it.)
V frees her right arm and fires at Doll, but the shots deal no damage. Doll summons her cleaver and flings it at V, severing her arm. Doll then summons a fan blade down.
"Holy crap, what is she doing?!" Uzi yelled.
"This isn't what I expected at all! I guess we should... Uh..."
The blades went towards her but then Bladewolf came and knocks it back.
N then goes to his side. "Good boy."
Uzi flings her knife, which damages her AbsoluteSolver. This removes the AS on the door as well, letting everyone escape.
"Узи, ты правда на стороне Дронов-Убийц? Я не единственная, кто потеряла из-за них семью." (Uzi, you would really side with the Murder Drones? I'm not the only one who's lost family to them.)
"Bite me! Whoever started this wants us to fight. I'm not dealing with anything well, but I'm done dealing with everything alone." Uzi looks at N, and they smile softly at each other. "We move forward together, or not at all."
Khan watches and smiles.
"Как мило, но мне твоя помощь не нужна." (Cute, but I don't need help.)
Her AS pierces through N and she launches the blades his way. But then Shiro came down and stops them.
Shiro goes in front of Uzi.
"Kikaider!" Uzi said.
Doll uses her powers on him but he resisted it.
"Nice try."
"Kakogo cherta!" said Doll in surprise.
He then glows and shoots beams of light at her.
Doll quickly summon a shield blocking the attack and summoned multiple knives, throwing towards him. He takes out his sword slashing them.
V and N joined his side.
"Well good thing you joined." V said.
"Sorry, I had to clear many to get out of here." Shiro said.
Doll throws many stuff as the group dodged her attacks. Uzi attacks Doll many times as the girl blocked them. Doll picks up her knife, multiplies it, and hurls them towards Uzi.
N came down and blocks them before letting Shiro to blast her with a beam. She got sent back before he appeared in front of her grabbing her face.
He drags her to the ground before knocking her back, Doll uses her AS to push him back before avoiding Bladewolf, the Twins came down and attacked her.
She grunted before blasting them back. Doll levitates some tables and Uzi makes her way across them, she grabs knives and hurls them at Doll and they knock Doll's bracelet off as she turns around to stare at it.
Dolly gets ready to attack again but then a horn stabs her head.
They saw Stardust as the robot unicorn makes a sound.
"Stardust." Shiro said.
Uzi and V jaws dropped at the unicorn.
"Aw, robot unicorn." N said.
"Okay, who makes a robot unicorn!" V yelled.
"Hey don't be mean." Shiro petted his head.
"But we needed answers from her." Uzi said.
Shiro points at the bracelet while Stardust pulls her out of it's horn.
Uzi looks at it and picks it up. The group went to Doll's house and opened the door, once they went inside N turns on the lights.
"Uh-oh..." Uzi said.
"Hehe. Nice." V said.
The place was filled with drone corpses, insects an garbage.
Bladewolf scanned. "Theres more than 50 bodies here."
"Disgusting." Shiro said and he saw V with a arm her mouth.
"Will you stop that." He takes it out.
Uzi looks. "Why would a worker drone... "She gets oil on her fingers. "Was she eating them?"
She stares at the oil like she was tempted.
N goes to a table and takes the covers off. "I think we found her folks..."
They saw the dead bodies of her parents there.
"They don't really, didn't even taste that good." V said.
"V, you kind of suck." N said.
"Yeah. I'm not doing okay." V eats a bug.
Uzi makes her way over to investigate a body, she checks out a name tag being Yeva. Doll's mother.
Doll appears on the other side of the table, she repairs herself as she takes a bullet out from her pocket.
"Как раз к ужину." (Just in time for dinner.)
They turned as a shot was heard, the group saw Uzi stopped it with her own AS surprising Dolly.
"Мне... Мне тебя..." (I... I'm sorry...)
Bullet goes to the other side.
"Жаль. Если я найду то, что ищу, то и тебе помогу." (For you. If I find what I'm looking for, I'll help you too.)
"What?!" Uzi said.
"Извини." (I am sorry.)
V flies to attack and the others rushed towards her.
"What? Oh, don't you dare!" Uzi said.
V shoots but then Dolly vanishes surprising them.
"She's gone." Shiro said.
Uzi then shoots. "Ugh, I hate it HEEERE!!!"
Note: Here's The Promening, where Shiro managed to help out along with the others of his allies a bit, Dolly escaped with what happened.
