"You think I can learn to fly. Just like my dad says he can." Shocket heard Linda ask. "Uh-huh as you're a duck like your daddy. Of course you can and I'll help you." Shocket replied to her.
It was a few weeks after Linda and Shocket had been living with Darcy and Howard but Linda had seen her dad fly wanting to try herself despite her parents telling her she wasn't big enough yet to learn yet making Shocket frown, as Linda was her sister and best friend so was willing to help her so had looked up how ducks could fly on the tablet.
"Whatcha you doing you two. Is it involving Linda flying." Darcy asked making Shocket shrug.
"We should try running, flapping our wings and jumping." Shocket whispered to her which Linda liked the sound of telling Shocket she wasn't a duck like her and Howard making Shocket quack pretending to be a duck making Linda giggle getting what she was doing as she flapped her arms, ran and jumped making Darcy stunned catching Linda as Shocket landed on her back making Howard amused.
"Darcy, this was what they were looking at. She's trying to help Linda learn to fly." he said.
"Ohhhhh now that makes sense. Linda, Shocket I know you're excited about Linda flyinfg but it has to be when she's ready. I am amused by your antics." Howard said as Shocket liked this game she and Linda were playing, even though she was helping Linda learn to fly.
"Okay uncle Howie but we were having fun. My dad would agree." Shocket told her.
"Yeah but it's way to get an Owies or knock a fang out." Darcy told her.
"Whatever." Shocket told her making Linda hug her.
"I don't remember doing that when we were that lil." Linda and Rocket and Shocket say.
It was afternoon and Linda had came over, as she'd missed hanging out with Shocket knowing she'd just finished her first week of school wanting to hear about it but telling a story from when Shocket had been living with her and her parents when she'd helped Linda want to learn to fly amusing Rocket at their antics telling Linda, that Shocket had met an new friend named Itsy which made Linda curious.
"Yeah, Itsy's awesome like you, but excited to do friend things." Shocket said drinking soda. "That's good you're doing good at school." Linda said smiling because she'd been concerned for her starting school so happy she'd made a friend her age but knew maybe they'd have a sleepover which Rocket was cool with.
