The Townsville skyline, once a beautiful place, stood in ruins. Its skyline was charred, and the sky was gray. Its streets littered with skeletons. Even the fauna of the animal kingdom were reduced to nothing but bones.

The City of Townsville… was in ruin. Its citizens wasted away to nothing. Men, women and children, all gone. Its villain population, reduced to a whopping zero. And to think the tragic loss of this city was the result of what began as a simple tag game gone wrong.

Hovering over the remains of this city were Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup Utonium, better known as The Powerpuff Girls, watching over the city with a combined look of anger and sadness.

That's right. It was these three who were responsible for the citywide genocide of Townsville. They have taken the lives of those who ostracized them, burned down buildings and houses, and were betrayed by the only creature they called a friend.

But how did they end up from perfect little girls, to citywide pariahs, to villains?

Clips from The Powerpuff Girls Movie were shown, including Professor Utonium creating the girls, the girls using their powers around the house, then during their game of tag, which resulted in them being ostracized as citywide pariahs.

In your universe, the girls' citywide game of tag resulted in their being hated by nearly the entire city. Jojo, Professor Utonium's former lab assistant chimpanzee, won over their sympathy, and tricked them into building his volcano-top observatory in the middle of Townsville Park, which he claimed would improve the city. After rewarding the girls a trip to the zoo, where he secretly implanted small teleportation devices on the zoo's primates, whom he'd later inject and mutate with Chemical X, he led a citywide attack and took on a new identity—Mojo Jojo, revealing the girls' assistance to the entire city, who hated them even more.

More clips from the film show the girls fighting the mutated primates, stopping a Chemical-X-overdosed Mojo, and receiving praise from the citizens.

Realizing their mistake, the girls decided to use their powers to fight back and defeat their former friend as retaliation for tricking them. Thus, all of Townsville apologized for the misjudgment, and thanked the girls for their heroism, which led to the girls becoming Townsville's most-beloved superhero team.

But in this universe…

Chapter 1 - Genocide

During the attack near Townsville Hall, the girls hovered over Jojo, who wore his blue tunic, violet cape, white gloves and boots, and metallic turban covering his mutated brain.

"Jojo, what happened?!" Blossom asked.

"This isn't making the town a better place!" Bubbles added.

"Yes it is!" Jojo replied. "For me! The hobo formerly known as Jojo is no mo'! From this day fo'wo'd, I will be known as Mojo Jojo!"

The girls gasped.

"For too long," Mojo continued, "apes and monkeys have been under the thumb of man. Well, the time as come to oppose that thumb, and take hold of what is rightfully ours! THE WORLD!"

The girls, horrified, faced the Professor, who was on his knees and has seemingly lost faith in them.

"Professor!" they addressed. "We didn't want this!"

"Liars! Fibbers! You've doomed us all!" the voices of angry citizens disagreed as they were overtaken by mutated primates.

"Please, Professor," Blossom begged. "Please believe us."

His mind reeled, and he bowed his head, his faith completely lost.

"I don't know who to believe," he responded, causing the girls to gasp in shock and horror. "I thought you were good."

After a few short seconds, Buttercup's eyes glowed an angry red, and she fired at a citizen near her and their attacking primate, combusting both of them. The burned and lifeless bodies of the citizen and primate crumpled to the ground, causing Blossom, Bubbles, Mojo, the Professor and the citizens to gasp, horrified, and the mutated primates to stop attacking suddenly.

"Buttercup, what did you do?!" Blossom said.

"Well, I lost it," Buttercup replied, "and I had no choice!"

"But Buttercup," Bubbles replied. "That's just plain… plain…"

"Murder!" Blossom finished.

"That citizen was an example of all those who ostracized us," Buttercup replied. "They're the ones who are truly evil! It's time for us to show Townsville just what our powers can really do!"

With that, Blossom and Bubbles hardened their eyes, and joined Buttercup in what would be the most heartbreaking moment in the City of Townsville's history. The Professor watched helplessly as he saw the girls zip away, laying waste on the very people who hated them.

"I…" he began. "I think I've created monsters."

Mojo, too, watched helplessly.

"I think I've helped create the monsters," he added. "I wanted to take over the world… but not like this."

Just as the girls had finished another citizen, they aimed for the Professor and Mojo next. But at the last second, both were whisked away before the girls could reach them.

The two looked up and saw that a tan wolf with cream white from snout to belly, white wings, and black eyebrows carried the two by their collars in its mouth.

"A wolf?" The Professor asked, bewildered.

"Not just a wolf," a pink gryphon with a rat tail replied in a male Goofy-like voice, coming into the scene with another flying pink creature—a dragon with red wings, yellow spikes on the wings, green hair that's raised like a woodpecker's head crest, red claws on its hands, red legs that resembled a fowl's with yellow talons, green tail feathers at the tip that resembled a rooster's, red eye shade features, and yellow eyes and eyebrows.

"He's a pterolycus," the dragon added in a male gruff Brooklyn accent.

"Where is he taking us?" Mojo asked.

"To Cape Cod," the gryphon answered, "where you two'll be safe, ahyuck!"

With that, the quintet flew up in the sky.

Back in a dystopian Townsville, the girls seethed.

"You may have escaped from our grasp, Mojo Jojo," Blossom seethed, "and just got lucky. But when we see you again, your luck will just run out, you traitor."

With that, the girls ascended behind a burning skyline. The citizens looked up in horror, with certain doom on their faces, including the mother who called the girls animals the day before at the zoo, cradling her baby in fear.

The girls descended, about to finish the feared citizens off.

the girls have turned evil.
