Chapter 3 - Bliss and… The Rowdyruff Boys?!
Upon descending into the charred remains of a citizen, the girls bowed their heads.
"It…" Blossom began, "…is done."
"The whole cycle of hatred is finally over," Bubbles added.
"We…" Buttercup added, "…are the only ones left in this desolate city." A few seconds of silence. "Now what?"
"I hear that the Town of Citiesville, neighboring Townsville, has a townwide ban on superpowers," Blossom replied. "Maybe we can lay waste there, too."
"The entire world will know our names," Bubbles added.
"And our carnage," Buttercup added.
"I don't think so," a female voice said, getting their attention.
Descending from the sky was an older, darker-skinned girl with teal hair, and wearing a violet dress to match her large eyes on her apparently-earless, apparently-noseless face. On the dress was a black stripe in the middle. The girl also wore white stockings and black Mary-Jane shoes. Her hands, like the girls', were apparently fingerless. Joining her were a trio of boys, also descending from the sky, who, like the girls, had very large heads and eyes to match their sweaters (which each had a black stripe in the middle), and were apparently earless, noseless and fingerless. They also wore black pants and sneakers. The boy in red was a redhead, wearing a dark red baseball cap turned backwards, with his hair short and with a center part and another one to each side, much like Blossom's hairline. The boy in dark blue was a blonde, with his hair parted in the middle, much like Bubbles' hairline. The boy in dark green had black hair with a cowlick, and parted similar to Buttercup's hairline.
"Who the heck are you guys?" Blossom asked.
The dark-skin girl posed in a confident position and a determined smile on her face.
"Blisstina!" she called herself. "Bliss for short."
The black-haired boy in dark green also posed.
"Butch!" he shouted.
As did the blonde boy in dark blue.
"Boomer!" he shouted.
The redhead boy in red, ditto.
"Brick!" he shouted.
"And the four of us are here to stop you!" Bliss declared.
"Four against three, huh?" Blossom replied. "That may outnumber us, but we can finish you off like we did Townsville!"
"Let's do this!" Buttercup declared.
Butch giggled, flexing his knees. "This is gonna be fun!" he said.
After a long deadlock, a battle commenced with all seven taking off.
Blossom blasted with her eye lasers while Brick countered with his own, with both sides canceling each other out.
Bubbles threw an electric ball at Boomer, who countered with a bat also made from electricity. The bat hit the ball after it pulled over his shoulder for a swing. The pitch got a line drive that did more damage to a charred building.
Buttercup created a blinding energy bolt from her hands, which Butch countered with a force field made from energy.
The girls then tried to hit Bliss, who kept teleporting rapidly, evading their blows.
"All right," Blossom declared. "Enough's enough! Time to maneuver a new move against this quartet!"
With that, the girls flew toward each other and joined hands. Spinning in a tight circle, lights in their respective colors enveloped the trio. The lights then disappeared into a sphere of crackling radiance. A beam emerged from this and flashed across the sky, aiming for the quartet.
"All right, little brothers," Bliss addressed the boys. "It's time we can't let them show us up!"
"You got it, Bliss!" Brick replied.
With that, the quartet pulled off an identical maneuver, with both beams canceling each other out. After a moment, there was an explosion that flung both sides backward.
The quartet then got on their feet, so to speak, midair.
"Okay, boys," Bliss declared. "I think it's time we pulled off the ballistic firecrackers attack!"
Agreeing with her, the boys surrounded a few feet away from the girl trio. Bliss produced many beams of cracking lights from her hands, and launched them towards the boys, who bounced the orbs, resulting in them changing into the boys' respective colors, hitting the girls. The lights each exploded on impact. The exploding firecrackers drilled the girls into the pavement.
When the dust cleared, the girls were ready to return the favor.
"Furious Flaming Feline!" Blossom shouted.
Flying away from Earth, the girls formed from U-turns and descended into the surface. Blazing into a comet that resembled a cat's face, it then headed towards the quartet.
"Courageous Countering Canine!" Brick shouted.
The quartet formed and spinned, glowing until the lights become what appeared to be a growling dog, which countered the cat by bouncing it off and snuffing it back into the girls' regular forms.
"It's no use," a fearful Blossom said. "They're way too powerful for us!"
"We need a plan to destroy them," Buttercup replied.
