"Why don't we talk Jordan"
Jordan glared viciously at Denny. "I should have known this was you"
"I have no idea what you're talking about Jordan" Denny says smoothly.
"Oh cut the bull, Woods. You had me framed, I'm not an idiot"
"Prove it. Only you can't, but I have the proof of you setting the school on fire. There's more than enough to have you charged with arson"
The teen then charged at him ready to strike him. "You son of a-" She started but was cut off.
"I wouldn't try it Jordan. You're in enough trouble without adding assault or battery charges"
She had scowled at him. "You're a son of a bitch"
"You're the daughter of the devil, what's your point?"
"What do you want?"
"You. Out of my way"
"You got a lot of balls saying that in a place where they're probably recording everything"
"I turned it off before I came in here. What's said in here, stays in here"
"Then whatever is done in here, stays in here" Jordan smirked, throwing out her fist punching Denny across the face, she quickly went into his pockets and grabebd a set of keys. "Did that hurt? Poor baby" She taunted him.
He fixed his posture rubbing his jaw, as much as he wanted to retaliate he wouldn't. He knew Hank would lose it if he saw a bruise or mark on his daughter and it was by Denny's hand. Instead he brought her over to the table and cuffed her hands to the table.
"Since you wanna act like a criminal, I'll treat you like one" He tightened the cuffs around her wrists.
Jordan didn't let it bother her too much, she was already working on a plan. She let Denny do whatever he pleased. She wouldn't be there for too long.
Denny started with a smirk. "I still do wonder about something Jordan"
"I still wonder why you're such an asshole and why I didn't rat you out sooner" She retored at him.
He covered her mouth to keep her from revealing too much, all it took was for Hank to walk in and everything would get thrown out. Jordan had then bit down hard on his hand making him remove his hand from her mouth.
"Why you little witch!" He hissed in pain.
"How the hell did you ever become a man and you can't even handle anything a teenage girl throws at you? Oh I probably know you got the big boy pants from someone else and the ones you're wearing are holding your fake balls. I get it now you pick on other people, people you see weaker because it makes you feel big and strong because you're lacking where it's supposed to count. Are you lacking Denny?" Jordan has a proud smirk.
"Look here you little-" Before Denny could finish the door opening and the detective came back.
"Lieuteant, I'll take things from here. You are dismissed" Detective Halloway said.
"Go on Woods, you're dismissed. That means get the hell out" Jordan told Denny waving her fingers shooing him out.
"Jordan, enough" Halloway looked at the teen.
Denny scowled and left the room, Jordan still had the smirk on her face. She leaned back looking at Halloway.
"I told you, I ain't talking till I see my dad. So either you let me call my dad or you do it"
"Why don't we talk about what happened at the school"
"Why? It's not like you're gonna believe me, nobody will. Ya'll are still gonna twist it around and some how blame it on me anyway. I see the look you're giving me now, you and everyone else all look at me and see my dad. I do have his attitude and boldness, no denying that. But you all think I'll end up like him one way or another. I'm not perfect and I don't pretend to be, I screwed up a lot and owned up to it. My dad was a dirty cop once and now everyone thinks I'm gonna follow in his path and the first time something like this happens I get blamed. Let me take a guess on your theory, I went to school on my brother's birthday- a day I normally take off to be alone. I go to school, can't handle my emotions and I snap I go to the chemistry lab and start a fire. Is that it?"
That had left Holloway stunned for a moment. He gave it to Jordan she was damn good and definitely her father's child with the attitude, bluntness, and boldness.
Halloway did get a bit nervous, when Jordan got like this it was almost like talking to another version of Hank just in girl form. "That is an interesting theory Jordan"
"It's the only one ya'll can probably think of too, because for detectives ya'll can't do your damn jobs other people like my dad's team has to do it for you. You don't even have a motive or means as to why I would that. You have only opportunity. My dad may have raised a kid, slightly screwed up but he didn't raise a stupid one. You don't have motive, means, you probably don't even have a witness"
"I…I have to go check something, I'll be right back" Holloway left rather quickly, he wouldn't say it out lour or admit it but Jordan had been very intimidating with him.
"You go do that" Jordan called after him. She then took the keys and quickly uncuffed herself. She grinned when she saw that she also grabbed Denny's car key. "Oh this is perfect"
She got up walking to the door opening it and looked around making sure it was safe to go. When she saw the coast was clear she made a run for it and sped walked out as fast as she could keeping her head down, as she walked out she saw a glimpse of her father and Erin.
"I'm sorry dad, I gotta do this on my own" Jordan muttered. "This is my mess to clean up not yours, you shouldn't have to keep doing this it's time I clean up my own messes"
As badly as she wanted to go to her father and Erin, she kept walking fast out of the building. She managed to snag a couple of things that she thought people wouldn't notice. The teen slid on a pair of sunglasses and a ball cap to hide her hair thinking she'd be unnoticeable. But someone had caught her.
"Jordan!" Denny called out seeing her.
Jordan saw Denny calling her then started chasing after her. "Dammit. Son of a bitch"
She then took off running as fast as she could through the side walk till she got onto the streets as she kept up the fast pace, her legs pumping as she ran and her lungs burned trying to catch her breath. As she ran she tossed Denny's keys down a sewer drain and kept running.
"Who would have thought I'd have my first jail break?" Jordan mutters to herself.
