With seven children and the constant fear of bill collectors showing up at their door, Cedric and Evangeline have tried to avoid adding a tenth member to the family. When Evangeline starts to worry that she might be pregnant after all, she frets over how to tell Cedric.

Mr. Brown and all of his children must find their way through grief and life without their wife and Mother. Thankfully, their faithful scullery maid, Evangaline is on hand to assist them every step of the way. Pre-Nanny McPhee. Written in collaboration with markaleen.
